Bittersweet Candy Bowl

Many forums get to that point where someone has the bright idea to ask everyone o post a picture of themselves. But that’s BORING!

Seeing as we have so many talented artists amongst our ranks, I want everyone to draw themselves. It can be really acurate, or fun and styalised. Whatever strikes your fancy! Just as long as it represents you, and not a character you’ve created.

Can’t draw? No problem! Find a friend who can and ask them to do a sketch! Or collaborate with someone from these very forums.

Here is a fairly detailed sketch of myself as done by a good friend of mine, Fontes. This was a concept sketch done for a commission that he was making for me for the show I am working on (a few of you know about this).

I like what I’ve done with the harem and the battle axe and the gleaming golden crown, but I think the cape and the Stratacaster and punching Superman in his smug, well-chiseled jaw are a bit much. But as I demonstrated yesterday, anything I draw is going to show up blurry anyway. I have never pitied everyone around me more than I do right now.

I went to draw myself, then realized I can’t without a mirror. Stupid learning disabilities, I can’t even remember my own face well enough to draw it.

If I could draw anything more than a cheap stick figure, I would. Wait… but that would reveal my identity! I can’t do that! I’m a Ninja for goodness (and badness) sakes! Maybe it’s a good thing I am incabable of anything that could be considered “art”…

a real conversation i had with jonathan over the phone. this honestly happened word for word.

Drew this up in my Comm. Graph class mainly for my little Skype icon (which Lisa totally stole btw). Don’t be fooled, the shirt isn’t ACTUALLY like that and my hair is actually more curlyish. The shirt is actually like a hybrid of my two favorite shirts so yeah.

Heres mine.yes my hair is like that,sometimes is spiky.

I’d hardly say he’s an insert character, he’s almost nothing like me save for a grayish outfit and long hair (though our hair would be completely different seeing how mine is curlyish and freaking hates me). He’s more a mixture of all my friends.
