Hidy Ho!
We all know that BCB is the best there is, but there are more highly addictive web-comics out there.

so use this thread to post links to some of your fave comics.

One of my faves is a strip called The Unfeasible Adventures Of Beaver and Steve!
unfortunatly its on hiatus but read through the archives, you’ll love it.

Hmm, let’s see, what in my list would i recommend
“Least I could do”, and “Looking for Group” are pretty good
“Questionable Content”
Shivae Studios has a lot of different one, some good, some are meh
“Biff” is great for surreal humour
“Dr. McNinja” is great
“Misfile” is pretty decent too
“The Tales of Kalduras” is one I found recently that is pretty interesting

Yeah, these are some of the better ones I read

MS Paint Adventures

Updates every day, sometimes with multiple pages a day and has already finished one epic saga of 1621 pages.

The comic itself takes the form of an old text-only adventure game where the player would type in their actions, but this time the players are readers and the output is in the form of a webcomic.

It’s condensed awesome, but be warned that should you start reading Problem Sleuth (the already finished adventure as opposed to the one that’s currently ongoing) now you’ll still be reading it the day after tomorrow.

Here’s the New reader page to get you started.

Guess I’ll post my tops.
Gunnerkrigg Court: Fantasy/Sci-Fi drama. Awesome plotlines, interesting characters. Has a lot going for it.

Erfworld: Basically a must-read for anyone who likes stories with a lot of thought put into them. This has politics galore, a brilliantly designed universe, and some of the best writing I’ve seen in a webcomic.

Supernormal Step: A fairly new comic that puts a fun spin on cliche superhero vs villain universes. I’m not quite sure where the plot is headed yet but I’m enjoying the ride.

Hark! A Vagrant: Requires a quirky sense of humor and some patience. But if you have the right temperment you’ll find one of the funniest one-shot style comics on the web. Often tackles historical figures or old novels.

Awkward Zombie More has to do with smash bros earlier on actually.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal Random at times, but updates daily and is awesome.

Yeah, Housepets is pretty good. Other good comics are Original Life by Jay Naylor. Pretty much just a comedic comic. Updates Monday and Friday (warning, his other content is, uh, nsfw). Oh, and 2kinds is also good. Drama/Adventure that updates every wednesday, so you have to wait awhile for his updates ):
There are tons of other, but i don’t keep up reguraly with them, like Dr. McNinja, and Sam and Fuzzy.

I think some people on here might like Bear Nuts. It’s kind of like Care Bears if they were all manic and homicidal.

If you have a lot of time to kill, Sluggy Freelance is one of classic webcomics. Kind of annoying sometimes, but it grows on you. Like a tumor.

And, one of my personal favorites, Fans!. Rikk Oberf is one of my favorite webcomic characters of all time. He comes off as kind of a “Mary Sue” in the beginning, but he’s made of fucking diamond when shit goes down. Book I kind of sucks, and I don’t really like a lot of the new kids they’ve introduced so far, but there’s a lot of material, good jokes and twists you won’t see coming. But you’ve probably already seen the advertisement for it that spoils the result of the love triangle thing they have going on, sooooo…who am I kidding? They make that shit work. (You don’t have to be a nerd to enjoy this, but you DO have to be a nerd to get most the jokes.)

Girly’s almost over, God damn it all. I love Josh Lesnick as much as a man can love another man without wanting him inside him.

MSPaint Adventures are a must-read nowadays. That recent “game”, Homestruck, is a mind-trip kind of fantasy taken to a unthought level. Seriously, stick to reading, and forget about logic. I oculd learn a trick or two about plots with the author, Andrew Hussie… *w*

Also, here’s some of my faves:

- Three Panel Soul, a comic about HUMANS! ARGH! …Nah seriously, it’s your everyday cartoonist stunt. Married gamer man vents about life and whatever jazz is going on his mind on three panels of strip every so often. Sometimes his wife, Jess, takes the author chair instead. Pretty entertaining.

- Femmegasm, misleading title? Not at all. The life and times about a Golden Lion Tamarin and a Axolotl (scientific names for “monkey” and “salamander”), both females, and their freeloader of a friend / author / not-author-character (take your pick). Lots of innuendos, but nothing graphic going on. At least, where the panel limits shows…

- Concession, a comic about furries, homo and bissexuality, and how to get possessed by your dead sister’s spirit to become a Lich and pull a God Mode on your friends life, the best Illuminati style. Raised a brow about the description? Try reading then. I’m sure you’ll like, despise what I said XD

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Hah! Fuck if I know, I haven’t read the archives in at least a year. But the whole “everyone is or has a sidekick” was fucking annoying. It was like watching a car wreck in slow motion, only instead of driving into a wall he was writing himself into one. =/

Better Days - My first and favorite webcomic. Slice-of-life at its finest. Sadly, it had ended. The continuation comic has been posted here (Original Life).

Jack - (NSFW) Has a dark and gritty feel to it because of the themes (most of the comic is set in hell or some killing spree is happening on Earth). Incredibly gory but the story is amazingly well narrated.

Broken Plot Device - Comedic and light-hearted. Mostly random strips about video games, movies and other general stuff. Sometimes pokes around with a story.

Suicide For Hire - (NSFW) This webcomic is textwall galore. Basically about two teens who open up a “business” orchestrating suicides to (mostly) idiots who seek them out. Hilarious, and though it’s like it’s written by a wordsmith, it’s interesting enough not to skip the textwalls.

Sequential Art - A webcomic revolving around a human (OMFG) who lives with two of his furry roommates. Incredibly funny and humorous. Does it help that the author is a Brit? :))

Garfield Minus Garfield - I think the name explains it well enough…very funny

Dreamkeepers - Not sure if this qualifies as web comic, but it is an well written with incredible art.

Dinosaur Comics - I don’t know how but this comic manages to avoid being repetitive.

Oh, there’s one I forgot.

http://www.axecop.com

A thirty-somethings cop with a firemax ax goes around the city to deliver some indiscriminated justice. And to the moon too.

What’s the selling point of this comic? It’s drawn by a 29-years-old cartoon artist, in a style that reminds of those journal strips. But the scripts are written by his younger brother, a 5-years old kid. And yet I can’t help but feel how this comic is so smoked. Drug-wise XD

VAMPIRE WEREWOLF SHARK WIZARD NINJA FROM THE MOON /o/

@ SkylineFaux: I try to figure out the accents in my head while I’m reading SArt. I use generic American accents for BCB, but then switch to The Fonz when ever Paulo shows up. And Jack…shit. I hate his art so much, but the comic just has moments every now and then that blow me away.

@Chili
Me being a Top Gear nut, I associate Art’s voice with Richard Hammond. I can’t envision Pip, Scarlet or even Kat with a British accent, but Vanity and Hilary I oddly can. It’s weird :))

I agree that Jack’s art is pretty meh. It has changed very minimally over the years, but yeah, story’s just incredible at times that you just ignore the mediocre art.

I know Dreamkeepers was mentioned above, but I gotta say, it is a damn good read imo. The free Prelude series is nothing compared to the main series that ya gotta pay for. I’ve got the physical books, not the digital download, but I highly suggest you read it, whichever format suits you. Just be warned, the Volumes come out pretty slow, I can’t recall how long I’ve been waiting for Vol 3.
