@KuroKan: I thought that the edit was kinda depressing. It was as if all this time, Mike has been only a figment of Lucy’s imagination. Mike never existed. Lucy was in love with her idea of the perfect guy.

This is funny. I was just thinking the other day what the comic would be like if it were revealed that Mike was, indeed, a figment of Lucy’s imagination. Of course, the fact that everyone else interacts with Mike would make that impossible, but, still … I am convinced that Lucy is rather insane and borderline psychotic. So these last two edits with Lucy talking to thin air … they make me smile with malicious glee. I like them.

It’s like Garfield Minus Garfield, only with a depressed, psychotic cat girl instead of a depressed, outcast, schizophrenic middle-aged man.
