Well I certainly wouldn’t want the scene to play out until Paulo is firmly rooted in a visible relationship. Basically, cut off all obvious lines of support, THEN send another shock through Lucy’s system. Either she collapses completely and permanently, or she recovers and is stronger for it.

@ Erebus: Role reversal wouldn’t be too bad, but I don’t know if it’d really tell us anything. For the most part, Mike can take care of himself these day and essentially everyone else around him, and probably would every time. But here’s something I think worth exploring: Lucy’s personality is changing, sort of, so if she expressed gratitude toward him I think it would blow his goddamned mind.

But my faith in the MikexLucy pairing is as weak as my faith in the MikexSandy pairing. It’ll all come down to specific events rather than behavior trends, so we’re just speculating blind right now.

There is only one reason to hate David. It’s HIS fault that Paulo is becoming the irresponsible kid he once was all over again.

Just as we start to see some level of maturity out of Paulo, David has to come along and botch it up.

Seriously, I’m really starting to develop a distaste for that mutt.

David is Paulo’s former self as Paulo himself is becoming an adult.
Internally, it’s like a fight between your child self and your adult self.
Kids gets what he wants at first, but a swift punch from the man and all of a sudden he can finally live in the real world.

I’m waiting for the Lucy/Tess Super Ultra Mega Combo attack that gets a triple banana crit and an extra turn while rendering Paulo unconscious. It will be epic.

Tess is one of my favorite characters. It breaks by damn heart that he’s breaking her damn heart. But Lucy? She’s already given him the brand of “You’re Mine Now, Bitch” by calling him “jerkface.”

That brand isn’t as visible as a footprint on the back of his skull.

Souppy said somewhere that Paulo would bang Lucy on page 18. (I have a photographic memory.) If her calling him that means what it seems to mean, it looks like LucyxPaulo fans will have something to celebrate next week.

I really hope that this resolves by either Paulo stopping what he’s doing, or (just realised I partially want this to happen) him and Rachel becoming a couple and being accepted by the gang.
