Hysteria was the name of a character in a play I once saw, and who I thought was hilarious. Also, it lets me be sarcastic or hysterical without having to change names. And it allows me to be sarcastically hysterical.

Try (namenowknown)
Comment ID #30686
But you don’t really know my real name, you only know my screenname, which is hidden by my not-name, which takes the place of my real name. If I ever use my real name THAN I can change my not-name, which I use in place of my screen name, with a new nickname. But until then I shall just use my not-name instead of my screenname, my nickname or my real name.
Comment ID #30691
Despite your best efforts, I understood that perfectly, You must note that I didn’t suggest (realnamenowknown). I was just too lazy to post (falsenamenowknown) or something of the like.
Comment ID #30696
Ninja you remind me very strongly of a friend of mine, with a very devious mind
Comment ID #30699
Is he a lawyer? I did a stint as the devil’s advocate, maybe that’s where I picked it up…

I don’t know, do you live in/have you ever been to Northern California or the Seattle area? Or do you know someone named ‘Johnny C.’ online?

“Taeshi” is a mangled version of “Ta-she”, which is the name of an Egyptian cat from a book I read in Middle School. My nickname should actually be written as Tae-shi, but at the time I made it up, Ezboards didn’t allow the “-” so “Taeshi” remained out of pure accident.
My name was originally TaeshiLH, the LH stands for “Lil Hedgie”, short for “The Littlest Hedgehog” which was my original original name I made when I was eleven getting involved in the Sonic community, Lil was a blue hedgehog healer fancharacter, who could transform into a yellow cat named Tae-shi, who was a fighter. Kind of a ying-yang split personality.
SCREW YOU I WAS THIRTEEN WHEN TAESHI WAS MADE ![]()
the whole lil hedgie transformation bullshit totally influenced the classic BCB magical girl saga, except Lucy would turn into Aqua. I was such a lamer
Comment ID #30713
You know I can’t answer that. So I’ll give you the wrong answers. Make what you will of it.
Yes. “or Seattle” - No. He’s a close buddy of mine.
Comment ID #30716
I think you really are him in disguise, every time you see me you are secretly laughing at me, you will now drop oh so suddle hints as to who you actually are, honestly I can see that happening I really can.

@Victoria: Why do you always assume that we’ll judge you on things like this. We are your LOYAL fans for a reason. You don’t need to be so defensive all the time. Wait, did I just see where Lucy came from?
Comment ID #30720
@(filenotfoundabortretryignore): have you considered getting your head examined?
Comment ID #30727
Ninja: are you referring to me? My name isn’t Victoria ;D
Lucy didn’t originate from magical girl bullshit, I got into magical girl bullshit between 12-14 (when Lucy was already existing for well over five years) so unfortunately the old series took that turn for like literally 300+ pages.

But your the Queen of this realm! And what kind of Queen is named Veronica? I had to use some poetic license here! But I could call you Veronica the Harmonica if that didn’t make you hate my guts…
Comment ID #30735
Veronica means “she who brings victory,” and is also a badass style of bull-fighting.
Comment ID #30740
Funny, “vero” is truth, while Victoria is the goddess of Victory.

@Jerk, Ninja, Taeshi (but mostly Ninja): *heavy sigh*

Yep, Jerk.

She with the gold rules.
Or simply: “It’s good to be queen”.

She who rules the comic, rules the world.

Well I remember I used to be Chaosrain, but since we’re talking about the latest nickname I won’t explain that one.
One day I just got tired of that name, thought it sounded lame and unoriginal. So I searched the net for my chinese zodiac, and found out I was the snake, which in japanese is Hebi. That name still remains to the date, as some people still call me that, however the change to Hebs happened when I started getting along with a friend of mine, and he used to shorten his friend’s names to whatever the first 3 letters were + an ‘s’. So my name remained as long as before, but instead was ‘Hebs’. I ended up liking it, and it sounded a lot more original, so it stuck since then. That’s probably 3 or 4 years ago.
Comment ID #30768
awww, Chaosrain sounds AWESOME!!
Why didn’t / think of that?

@*Ninja: You are forgetting SMW the Dialogue Ninja. I assume you are not him, either.
My user name’s origin? Well, ILB is short for “ilikeboys”. Hey, I was young, stupid, hormonal and other derogatory adjectives at the time I first started visiting the Internet. ^_^ That was back in 2005. Eventually, as I matured, I figured that if I went around calling myself “ilikeboys” then I wouldn’t be taken very seriously, so I shortened the name.
That, and the fact that people would call me so many different things. “ilike” and “ILB”/”ilb” were rather all right, but there is something weird about others referring to me as “I Like!”/”Me Likey” and “Boy”, no? ^_^ Silly male persons.
Still. ILB it was. Lately people over here have suggested other phrases that “ILB” could be an acronym for, and some of them almost make me want to retcon the name. “I’m Lemon Breakfast” is my favourite so far.
That’s my tale. ^_^

When the 3rd Generation of Pokemon came out, I really liked Rayquaza. I joined a website as Rayquazarox250 and everyone called me Ray and it just kinda stuck. xD

Well “MiwAuturu” means “The Author”. I have it because when me and my brother were younger we started writing a fantasy story (He is “MiwRasterath” or “The Dragon&rdquo
. For this book we invented a whone new language, admittedly not a very good one though. I would actually write the story so I was the author, and he would give me a lot of ideas Miw Rasterath was the title of the book so he took that as his name. They’re convenient names to use since they aren’t real words and thus are never taken. Often on forums we’re known as “the two Miws”
Comment ID #30868
I have been pondering that MiwAuturu.
Though admittedly you name reminds me of a cartoon from a couple of years ago that I bet no one remembers or have never heard of.

El Legendario.
Always has been my nickname.
No.
Let me rephrase that.
My Second Name.

Drayor, spill! Story time, story time!
On another note, every time you guys shorten my name to LaComment, I automatically add an -a to the end to make is Spanish. And it took me 3 hours to realize you weren’t making Spanish yourselves. Slow kid am I! I usually just go by Leaving.
@ MiwAuturu Oh and It’s Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!

A long time ago I was quite young and pokemon had just came out.
Like most kids I liked it too and as such when I went online I went to a Pokemon based community. One of the common ‘trends’ there was to name yourself Something-Chu. Nekochu, Hamuchu, BlastChu and so on. With this you’d wear some sort of edited Pikachu av, with a new color and maybe some minor edits.
It was all quite childish. Stupid even. But keep in mind I WAS a kid here! I went about designing my own like fake-chu:A Black one with bright green eyes and cat like ears. I came up with the name ‘Brichu’ taking Bri from ‘Bright’ to reflect the eyes I gave it. Which is why my name is pronounced Brr-I rather then Bree.
Of course time passed by, I got older, and while Brichu sounded quite adorable I couldn’t have a name connected to something like that and still be taken seriously. My friends got into the habit of calling me ‘Bribri’ and as such I took it as my permanent name.
Granted that has changed since as everyone my age is now nostalgic about pokemon rather then scoffing it as stupid kid stuff. Is missing your childhood toys a strange backwards sign of maturity? Who knows hahaha.
From time to time I do switch back to Brichu though. For some reason the name just brings a smile to my face.

My name originated from Maple Story way back when. Though originally my name was KuroMisuki which really doesn’t mean anything as far as I know. The name I was going for was KuroMizu since I was making an Ice-Lightning wizard. But for whatever reason I though Misuki meant water… I ended up keep the Misuki part since it was never taken.
Soon we (me and some friends) switched servers and I couldn’t carry the name over without deleting my character. So instead I went for KuroKun. It was already taken so I replaced the ‘u’ with an ‘a’ and its stuck ever since for MMO’s and forums such as this.

@ILB: As far as I know, I’m not him/her either. That Ninja must only post on the comic pages, because I haven’t met this one.

Why not just “sarcastic*Ninja”, or “Hysteric *Ninja”?
