Extreme underwater basket weaving, eh? What makes it extreme, apart from the obvious?

I miss baseball… (no one plays it in this country D
and grass hockey too… Never been much for sports. What do folk think of martial arts?
@Taeshi
The only sport like that we played was Murderball, and we had to stop when one guy nearly got his neck broken. I don’t know what they play now. (sports is optional for seniors here, so I took an extra subject, not that we did muh anyway as we only had PE once a week&hellip![]()

Hahahahaha, WHAT. What the hell is a Murderball?!

It’s mostly just another name for dodgeball, as far as I’m aware. I went to one school where it was called dodgeball, moved, and there they called it murderball….only difference was they used these soft, foamy balls instead of the the rubber poit ones.
I don’t see how you’d break your neck unless you fell on your head.

When i was on school i was only good on Brandball(its like baseball but it dont have the player that toss balls,only the one that hit the ball,like the player toss the ball hight and then you have to hit it,the rest is same as baseball) and i was good at dodgeball because of my reflex but i was always the surviving one(oh i hate when it happens).

@Quacksalver
I don’t know where you went, but the Murderball we played had nothing to do with Dodgeball. In fact, it was more like rugby. We had to run from one end of the court to the other choosing one seeker and protecting him, while the other tried to get the ball off us. Because we were 30 in the class, the coach put 15 each side and gave out 3 balls. That meant that the other team had at least 5 people to pick up a seeker and throw them to the ground just to take the ball off. But because almost everyone in my class was so bloody unfit due to poor PE, it took about 8 people to get me. My protectors were usually helping out the weaker seekers so I was on my own. Still managed to score a good few point though. XD

I forgot we also played a bit of Hurling (a sort of fuse between Hockey and Rugby) and Gaelic Football (the sport which influenced Aussie Rules). I was a disaster at Hurling. Once in primary I managed to defy the laws of physics plying it. If you see the bottom end of a hurley, there’s no bloody way it should fit inside the gaps in a hurler’s helmet. Yet somehow I managed to do it, and take it out without even realising while chasing a sliothar, nearly breaking a classmate’s nose in the process.
By the way, it wasn’t me who nearly broke the guy’s neck in Murderball. It was the Lithuanian in my class. And man the guy is so strong he seemed to be on steroids. He picked up the other guy (which was a heavy bastard) all on his own and flung him straight to the ground. You could almost hear the bones crunching…

I say baseball because the Giant’s just tied the game I’m watching, but let this a thread be for sports in general. Anyone vaguely interested in any sport feel free to post here.
