Bittersweet Candy Bowl

What is your favorite chapter of BCB? Personally, my favorite chapter is Chapter 29: Mid-term Time. Why? Because of the ending, that’s why! For some reason, I really like a very emotional Daisy.

Taeshi… you’re making me impatient with all the Chapter 55 talk here… The mention of how far away and awesome it is makes me cry… I need to be able to wait for it without any tears…

I have some serious problems choosing, but mostly everything since the group went to Acapulco has been thoroughly entertaining.

I do have a favourite page, though - the one where Lucy comments that “we got a second Daisy”. ^_^

The one(s?) where they went to Acapulco, can’t remember the name. xD That and maybe Chapter 12 (Confrontation), it just seemed so.. different to everything else and it showed the characters true colours.

I’m actually enjoying the current chapter pretty well! Though I think it’s only because I started getting involved in the commenting then. It’s so much fun!

I know what you mena about involvement mate. This forum has a friendly vibe to, unlike other which are uninviting because they are so bloody big. That’s why I’m spending my time here instead of writing up my reports… XD

I dont have a favorite chapter,i liked all,the intermission chapter too.

I like the chapter where the Gang went somewhere on a train, and gets lost. I dunno why, but I just do :3

love the chapter 40 “Love My Way” makes me think of the song “Love Comes Walking In” by Van Halen. cant help but think of the music played durring that chapter

I just LOVE chapter 5: The Burden of Parenthood, and for some reason, it’s still my very favorite of them all =3

I liked the chapter where Lucy kissed Mike. Why? Because it was the closest that this comic has ever came to providing a stable, trauma-free relationship. For one brief, shining moment. it seemed that we might get some sort of conclusive progress with character and relationship development. Then the moment ended, and we went back to the drama.

I don’t think I can pick just ONE favorite, but the combination of Chapter 45: Intervention and Chapter 46: Return is just the best to me.

Another shoulder, hands down. Because paulo was epic there and it was one of the most cool ones :3

Oyea also the “go to the movies” chapter :3… ended very good

The entire vacation saga. I don’t think it has the best jokes or the best drama or the best art, but at the very least it contains such a high standard of all three that I couldn’t help but pick it. The MikexPaulo side arc is the hardest I’ve laughed in the whole series.

Conflict, by far my favorite.

Either Return or Another Shoulder. I really enjoyed both chapters. Zachary being willing and able to cut through everything was interesting, and felt very natural in the situation. He’s kind of a dork, but I like him a lot.

Another Shoulder… wow. Yeah, I have to admit I really came to like Paulo a lot over the course of the comic as, while he seems like a terrible person, he’s actually one of the nicest of the cast members, as while he has a lot of artifice to him, deep down inside he is good, and that shines through as he does the right thing. Plus Lucy hitting on him was intense.

If only it had gone further… hmmm…

Zachary was uncanny in his ability to dissect the situation. And equally uncanny in his ability to make himself awkward as possible.

But by far I think the thing that stood out the most with him was how Lucy actually came into contact with him nearing the end of his appearance, when he told her how Mike felt. How many people has Lucy EVER willingly come into physical contact with, when she wasn’t traumatized or attacking. And yet here she is INVITING him to hug her.

Do you think he would make a re appearance?

Hmmm…. Favorite chapter would have to be Confrontation (the remake), for a number of reasons. Second to that would have to be the whole Vacation arc. The art may have been very pencil-y, but the shading added something to the whole experience. Also, the character designs during that time are still some of my favorites. David’s especially (he just looks so much like a kid, and he’s so expressive. It’s friggen’ perfect for him).

I suspect Zachary will be coming back at some point. Taeshi left his appearance and departure open ended enough for him to re-emerge.

I hope so… He’ll be the sage master to bring them all together or drift them further apart…

If anything, I think he’ll be the one to fully sort Lucy out. He took an almost obsessive interest in her well being.

Hmm, I just remembered from the face meme that Lucy was doing it with a bigger white cat. It couldn’t be Zachary could it? What colour was he?

Hm Favorite Chapter… hm….. well let me see Paulo gained ton of points during another Shoulder no argument but… on the other hand I really liked the drama of the few chapters that came previously. Ehn….. likely a tie between them I think… I just liked that entire arc!
