I wouldn’t flame him because of his choice of who to ship, Ved. I would flame him because he started a thread begging for a chapter supporting the pairing as part of canon instead of letting the author tell the damn story.

And Mike’s biggest problem isn’t that he is a jerk (though I guess one could call him a jerk, though by that standard, Lucy is definitely one and Paulo is one as well) but rather that he is unable to really be honest with himself. He has convinced himself that she uses him as a crutch and while he said it was obvious that she liked him… and it WAS… he himself didn’t pick up on it because he didn’t allow himself to do so.

He’s not a jerk so much as a fool… and that’s correctable. Of course, the question is, will he correct it, and will it matter?

No, most of us only got to know each other through the forums. Though some people knew the creator from before (Gabriel and Lisa, for instance).

Some also knew eachother, but I cannot recall any examples of that.
