I say that its good we have a forum but it needs to be more organised, at the moment it just sloppy and uninviting. I hope it looks better when i come back from Cornwall ^^

It’s ok, and I’m sure it works.
But think it looks more like a wall of comments than a actual Forum :/

…wait that’s what a Forum is, so nevermind >>

Hmm I agree with Blaze, the forum seems very disorganized and needs different sections like most forums do.

Btw I love the comic only I wish the forums where more user friendy.

Why do you need category-based hierarchies and multiple individual forums? They are overkill for a forum with a handful of users and maybe 3 new topics a day. Even with ten times the traffic we’d do fine with a single board, I feel.

I don’t really intend on changing this. I think the post icons, a la Something Awful, are enough to distinguish posts and give a loose structure to things.

I feel like any issues with the current design are more to do with unfamiliarity than actual usability problems. If you were familiar with, say, 2ch or 4chan’s text boards, this problem mightn’t exist. But look, if you do have concerns, I could definitely address them, but I feel like the sentiment is more “Where is my post count and option for a 300px signature and means of ordering topics by alphabetical poster name and collapsible forum categories surely this is too simple!!” disbelief than actual frustration with the way things are arranged.

I like simplicity mate! As long as the forum is safe, if it’s simple it’s groovy! :D
