No problem. (sees a light flash in the distance, followed by a returned flash from the ship.) (Thinks: a signal, what the hell?) (picks up the comatose lad.)

Yeah, I’m fine….Thanks though.
Comment ID #33122
Ah, this is it! ((I don’t know if we’ve been assigned one yet so if we haven’t ILB can fix that in the morning.)) And thank you gentlemen for the help again. Just lay him on the bed.
Comment ID #33125
No problem…just make sure to lock up before you go to bed.

“good night Lady Diane.”
*walks out into the hall*

Good night good sirs! And please be careful making your way to your own rooms tonight! (Closes door and heads to bed.) ((And I’ll follow example. Night all!))
Comment ID #33133
Ah, yes. Goodnight Madame Diane. (Swiftly returns to room and locks door, after checking the closet and under the bed of course.) (Thinks: What exactly are you planning Sandrine?&hellip

*gets up, avoiding the case this time, and returns to his room*
(I think we all can agree on the missing axe clue becoming canon)

Lady Hamilton! It is good to see you again. I was shoshed to see you here only four days ago, but I do understand you were worried about your dear husband. Your cabin is labelled 3, I hope you will remember that. *trills*
Now, I am going to chesh up on the staff. I think they will be doing well.

[THE FIRST MURDER]
/Davido Bavieca, the Spanish guest, walks down the corridors as he whistles “La Donna e Mobile”, from Verdi’s opera Rigoletto. Occasionally he changes it to “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones. He sees the boiler room open, and he goes to find entertainment among the smoke and heat. He notices something strange, though - a fire axe deposited on the floor just below the boiler.
Thinking “Huh, a treasure hunt? How fun!”, he opens the boiler and is met by a terrifying sight: Lucia Torressi, boiled to death in the intense heat. “Madre de Dios!” he yells, losing one of his monocles, “I was hoping for a turkey!” Running out of the room, and leaving the victim behind, his foot crunches on crumbs of the food they were eating only just the other evening…
The terror gradually approaching Bavieca’s brain, he stumbles upon the hostess as she is conversating with August and Roger. Davido tells the triangle the terrible news…/

*Wakes up in his room, his head pounding from recently being dropped*
Aghh! I must of shared to much Brandy with the people on board.
*Notices Diane asleep next to him*
Ah some good news at least. Hmm she is sleeping I may as well leave her for now.
Hmm? Whats all that commotion outside? I may as well see whats wrong.
*Heads outside towards August, Roger, and Davido.
Comment ID #33264
Lord Hamilton! One of my guests has been found in the boiler - murdered!
Comment ID #33266
Wow, Lucia did not even had a chance to do anything and just died
Comment ID #33267
What!?
Surely you must be joking!? How could noone have seen something like this happen on a Boat this size?
I would expect this sloppiness from the servants working here but nothing of such from you and the Captain!
I’m going to be in my Cabin with my wife until I hear that you fools have been able to fix this mess!
*Returns to his room*
Comment ID #33268
(skykitty: Nobody claimed her. Therefore she could be legitimately killed. ^_^ I’m far more hesitant to murder off persons that have players… playing… them.)
Comment ID #33273
…damn, now I got a body to take out of the room.
shit, I was probably the last person to be seen in the boiler…
*August looks towards the boiler room with suspicion and anxiety*

*looks around the deck*
Well, Roger doesn’t want my head yet.
Best to serve the passengers for now.
*returns to the kitchen*
(alright, from this point I’m on autoplay for at least 10 hours, I see if I can play a bit in an hour)

The dear countess’s room appears quite empty save a lovely melody flowing through the room until finally the orange tabby comes out of the bathroom dripping, cleaning out her ears as she sways her head to the song. Starting to tap one hand in the air before spreading both hands as she lips sinks the first powerful set of lyrics; just laughing to herself after words…though the music drowns out any noise she makes.
Naturally she’s unaware of any murders just yet.
(Hm don’t see why a person can’t jump in half way through with an unclaimed character…. but hey you’re running this game! No need for me to make an argument of it haha. Still yes..better the unclaimed ones first…. But alas poor lucy. Wont be one of the heroes this time around will you?)
Comment ID #33276
*slowly wakes up,clearly unaware of the murder*
“mmm..”
*Looks at the time*
“some sleep is better then none i suppose..”
Comment ID #33279
*Roger emerges from his quarters. He looks at the sea once with a refreshed smile, unaware of any murder before he returns to his grumpy self, and walks out onto the deck*
Comment ID #33283
(Actually, Roger knew. Davido told August, Sandrine and Roger when he became sober)
Comment ID #33285
(Having been unable to sleep through the night. Time was spent creating a lovely portrait of Sandrine and this shall be continued until something happens.)

*comes back out from the kitchen, a shot of whiskey in hand*
Should I dispose of the body now? It would look suspicious if anyone saw me throwing a bag overboard. But if these rowdy passangers knew what had happened, they’d still pin it on the mechanic. I gotta find Miss Siegler or Captain Rahab again.
Comment ID #33289
((Ignore my post above then, I missed the mentioning of Roger when that happened))
Damn…I warned her this would happen, giving the passengers too much freedom would result in injury. This is an omen now, a death this early on never results in anything good. My guess is the damn woman drank too much last night, stumbled in here and fell into the boiler.
Comment ID #33293
(Hears screaming, but plays it off due to lack of sleep and intense focus towards completing the piece.)
Comment ID #33295
*Runs into August outside of the kitchen* Mr.McIntyre, let the passengers know, they are to stay out of all crew only areas. In light of what’s happened, I don’t want to take anymore risks. I need to check our course, so I’ll be in the control room. Please have someone bring some whiskey up, I’m going to need a strong drink after this.
((I’ll be in class for about 6 hours))
Comment ID #33296
(@Amanda: People may still join if they want to, but officially signups are closed - and grabbing a character now carries a greater risk of being killed off.)
August! Oh, August! You must not do anything with the body. This is a murder - I know Lucia would not get herself killed by stumbling around drunk. We need it for evidence.
*trills away*
(Obviously the body has been taken out, but she was placed in an unused cabin.)
Comment ID #33297
*bumps into Roger and Sandrine*
Oh, of course captain.
I’ll have one of the men sent you your drink while I give these passangers the notice.
And not to worry Miss Siegler, I’ll keep watch for evidence.
Someone ought to inspect the body though…
*gets a nearby staff member to fetch the whiskey*
*heads to the cabins to break the news*

A murder, Alexander. Lucia Torressi, the poor gal, is dead.
Comment ID #33304
Aye, Alexander!
*waves him to come forward*
I’m sorry to inform you, but there’s been a murder in the boiler room.
It seems the italian woman was boiled to death.
The captain requests to be left in his privite quarters for the time being.
Please do spread the word.

I will go and tell Sir Plato and Susanne. Please, everyone, stay calm and stay together.

You may as well serve what’s already been prepared for breakfast, an incident like this shall not halt the trip.
Better make the most of it till we sort this mess.
