I did. About a month ago he sent me this text saying that he feared someone would murder him, and I told him to stop being a crybaby. I checked the obituaries. Either the cops are lazy and can’t find his body or he skipped town like a pansy. Again.

On a slightly more serious note is it wise to mix sedatives with whatever you’re taking? I mean I was specifically warned that mixing sedatives, or alcohol, or both with my pain meds could stop my breathing…I suppose you would know better than I but still…

I never mix alcohol with anything. Though I will take a particularly high dose of sedatives with a particularly potent energy drink or two. You know you can overdose on caffeine? I did that once by dropping two vials of Six Hour Power into an extra large Red Bull. You just twitch a lot and get nauseous.

@Jerk: I’m honestly trying to figure out how to express the paradox that is mixing a sedative (which slows the body down) with lots of caffeine (which speeds the body up). I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just going to stop questioning what you are doing…

Unless you can stay awake to feel it, you can’t feel the subtlety in the sedative mix besides what puts you to sleep. I can’t ever fall asleep easily, even without caffeine.

I have anxiety about the act of falling asleep itself because my imagination is so extremely vivid that it’s easy for me to have lucid dreams. I’m still pretty shaken up by one from a couple nights ago, hence why I didn’t really sleep last night.
