I am single, but I’m definitely not bitter about it. I’ve only had one girlfriend, first year of high school, and even then it was just because our friends said we “looked good together.” Beyond that, I haven’t had a reason to date anyone. I’ve had plenty of offers, but no interest in any; I think I’m still waiting for my ‘dream girl’, or at least someone for whom I have a stronger emotion than ‘very very good friend.’

..Hopefully, that’ll happen sometime soon. And not when I’m like, 80. XD

I’m single and loving it right now. I’ve been in three relationships in the past. They just didn’t go well. I’m still on good terms with them though. Like, I’m gonna be the “man of honor” at one of their future weddings. SHE PLANED THESE OUT WHEN SHE WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. LOL. Don’t know how that will go over.

Anyways, yeah, no one I’m pursuing right now. I think that love is something that will either just happen or strike me down. I’ma just waiting.

When I was in sixth grade, my sex ed teacher was something of a feminist, and basically what I got out of it was, “NO MEANS NO AND YOU SHOULDN’T EVER HARASS WOMEN BECAUSE IT IS MORALLY REPREHENSIBLE AND YOU COULD GO TO JAIL AAAAAHHHHHH!”

So basically I went through primary school under the assumption that I couldn’t ever ask a girl out more than once, or it was harassment.




I have since been informed that this is not necessarily the case. ._.

@Quacksalver: That’s how it was at my school when they had sex ed… It was technically taught by the coach, but he didn’t like talking, so he asked his wife to do it. She agreed as she saw it as a way to SCREECH AT US…

…Because of that I didn’t even look at a girl until I moved far, far away from her.

Single, my last relationship was with a co-worker I had a massive crush on when I was in college. I had to leave for the summer, and when I got back I found out she was living with one my other co-workers and two month’s pregnant. Since I watch daytime talk shows to laugh at dysfunctional couples, I LOL’ed at the whole thing.

Met an artsy girl through some friends at an indie movie house I volunteer at recently. Asked her if she’s game for drinks and a movie sometime, probably gonna get friend-zone’d LOL.

I’m single, never dated and had one crush.
My life’s dull. ;_;
But on the bight side, no ex-GFs to create an awkward moment.

Many crushes, my first boyfriend lasted about 4 months who was my best guy friend, then boyfriend, then refused to talk to me after we broke up, became bffs again, and, now, has refused to acknowledge my existence for about a year and a half. Kind of sucks but what can ya do!

Current boyfriend and I have been dating for a bit over a year and a half! Couldn’t be happier !

I’ve had a few crushes before, my first crush was probably one of my best friends back in 4th grade, and she liked me back but I was like “I don’t want a girlfriend right now.” If she hadn’t of moved to like Washington I would’ve gladly dated her, but sadly, she did.

The second crush turned out to not be the girl I thought she’d been, so I decided she wasn’t worth it.

Then the third started dating a friend of mine and they seem really happy together, so I wouldn’t want to mess it up.

Aside from that, not much else for me. There are a few friends I have that I wouldn’t mind dating, but I’m going to wait a bit and be safe to see if any of them might harbor similar feelings. It’s not like I’m in a rush or anything.

Interestingly enough I’m in something of a long distance relationship (my gf lives in Minnesota I live in California). I try to find ways of visiting her in the summer and her family tends to visit us in the winter. We’ve been together almost since she moved away three years ago.

ive only ever had one boyfriend. he was a terrible kisser and smelt like mustard. the end.

Well.. won’t go into detail on my present status but I will say about once every 1-2 years I end up in situation where a -Good- friend has a crush on me, and the feeling isn’t mutual or I’m already involved. Makes me feel like an utter jerk you know? Particularly since most of my better friends tend to be girls… and..uh.. huh?

As for an amusing dating stories…. there was a guy who I met online. Started to become friends with him, talking to him on, and off in an online chat. Anyway I’m hanging out with one of the mentioned female friends on ‘Palace’ an old visual chat line:he shows up, and asks me out! I inform him “Oh sorry, I’m not gay” and of course… “Wait… wait…you’re a GUY?” bam, poor bastard was so embarrassed, we all had a good laugh.

After words as a joke he mentioned “Ha, next you’re going to tell me he’s a girl” Referring to my female friend… who of course, was indeed a girl, and more face-palming was passed around the room. The interwebs, can be a place of great gender confusion no?

If this story was fiction those two would have dated after that, but ehn reality doesn’t like having ironic twist endings. =P

@ bribri:: can relate with the whole friends crushing thing. things usually get really akward really fast in those situations. especially since my guy friends get really creepy when they like someone. ony of them found my house cause he knows what my car looks like o__o i never told him where i live.
