The orange tabby gives Yashy a sad frown as she scans around the room knowing full well -everyone- would have known about those things…the dead end lead leaving the countess sighing once again, though looking a tiny bit afraid after words, squeezing her own arm tightly.

But.. given up is something she hasn’t. She walks over to what remains of the ships schematics…which isn’t much really, trying to make some sense of it all…..to little real success.

(Oh and… did anyone take the axe? If not that stupid thing is so thrown overboard on the way back. Shame I’m going to have to leave in 30-90 minutes. Will be busy most of the evening as well….)

Someone grab the ax, it is important evidence, we’ll lock it up somewhere so that no one can access it.

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:05 PM EST.

No point in hididng it Mr. Makrtzy.
It’ll work better then the cutlery most of you are carrying.

Abraham Hamilton June 2, 2010, 4:06 PM EST.

Comment ID #35410

We do not want to use it as a weapon, any evidence that may be found on it would be lost then, however we must ensure that the killer can’t use it again. Use gloves to handle it, we can perform an amateur fingerprint test with some flour.

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:08 PM EST.

Comment ID #35411

The killer won’t be able to use it if it’s in his spine.
Either someone takes it or it’s going overboard.

Abraham Hamilton June 2, 2010, 4:10 PM EST.

Comment ID #35412

Fine *takes off shirt and uses it to grab ax* I shall check it for fingerprints and if I find nothing then I shall throw it overboard, and you may all watch me do so to ensure it is gone. Is that quite alright with you?

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:11 PM EST.

“the only thing i have to use for a weapon freinds is my lucky potatoe peeler”

He say sneaking up behind the others…

“so it does seem we have to worry, too many people have died for my taste’s”

Looks from side to side…

“i suspect the captain, he knows the ship, he can move through the corridors without us knowing and he could easily be after insurance money, with all of us dead he could crash the ship and claim he was attacked. Pirate insurance, a bunch of dead rich folks and a damaged ship, a hero captain surviveing…sound like he’s be set for life”

Davido Bavieca June 2, 2010, 4:13 PM EST.

Comment ID #35414

Actually I should be getting back to the Captain.
Best not to leave him on his own while he…
Is busy.
*Begins to return to the Cabin*
Oh and please someone place Ms. Mabelle somewhere more discreet.

(I’m going to dissapear for a few moments here, just assume I’ve gone to the kitchen with the ax and am trying to dust it for fingerprints with flour)

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:18 PM EST.

*Gives Davido a very, very, odd look… and…. seems to just assume he’s joking. A nervous laugh, and weak smile as she turns back to the evidence. With a shake of her head she glances over the schematics…but it’s all just scribbles to her. Sighing… feeling quite defeated as she leans into the table, resting her head in her arms.

(Here have my motives list… some are stronger then others)

POSSIBLE MOTIVES
Smoke and mirrors-This is all a complicated ‘show’ pulled off by the hostess and no one is actually being killed. Unlikely…but given the only person who could prove that (Sue) was taken out….

Old wounds. The character had issues with one or more of the departed or those who appear to have been set up. Michelle, and Rachelle being the most obvious examples. The additional killings little more then distractions.

Lady killer:Someone doesn’t like women. All the victims have been women so far and they may even be killing them to ‘take them’ if that makes any sense. Paul or David perhaps?

Wants all the boys:intends to have all the boys to him/herself and is killing off the competition. This would make us suspect Lucia (If she weren’t dead) Sandrine and Plato

Communist scum!-Someone doesn’t like ‘free thinkers’ as it were, or those who go against the established norms. Most of the dead/framed so far aren’t really the pure bred male-capitalist type. This would make Abraham quite the suspect.

Amanda Stilte June 2, 2010, 4:19 PM EST.

“my dear Amanda i can tell from your laugh you thinkim not serious. I am quite serious, dead serious in fact. The captain definatly has much to gain from all our demise’s.”

Peers around a corner nervously then looks back to Amanda

“no worries i can indeed be serious, in fact the reason i have no shoes on is because someone stole while i was sleeping, i simply decided to go barefoot after that so as not to give the killer notice of my footsteps”

walks quitely to the side

*Gives Amanda a funny look as she tries to explain her theories a la charades. Hands her a pen and paper so she can write them down. Reads them*

This all makes sense, but what if we actually have a third party who snuck aboard and has something against all those here? (Confrontation Cat-mod comes to mind, hates Lucy, would want to hurt Paulo [Tess and Rachelle], hates Sue, known as “rapecat” so probably has a thing for brutally kill/maiming girls even without…you know…)

We need more clues!!!!

(Yes, Yashy is supposed to state the obvious)

Yashy Yamabushi June 2, 2010, 4:32 PM EST.

Comment ID #35423

Yeah… Davido gets a curious look, followed by another weirder out one (Do any of the characters wear shoes? I know we wear clothing… hm) She watches the strange, strange dog walk away, turned half way around in her seat to do so….

Before… yeah…just silently laughing at his silliness once again, mood just a tad lightened as she goes back to pondering this mystery.

(Also Amanda didn’t explain those theories. I’m just throwing them out for the players to consider. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear <_>;)

*Returns from the Cabin*
Between the grunts and the swearing I can tell this is going to take the Mr. Rehab a while to complete. Still it is daytime and he is only a short distance away so I’m sure he will be fine.
Now has anyone seen my beloved? I wish to check up on her and she how she is doing after all this.

(Btw due to Roger and Sandrine not being here I’m going to leave the whole ‘mystery closet’ thing alone for a while)

Abraham Hamilton June 2, 2010, 4:34 PM EST.

(Back quicker than expected)
*Comes out of kitchen holding the ax*
Whoever the murderer is never directly touched this ax as I can find no traces of fingerprints whatsoever. Would anyone like to come with me asI throw it overboard so that it may be innaccessible and that there is proof it is gone?

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:35 PM EST.

(use the ()’s to denote OOC talk in the future then, please. And Amanda trying to explain her thoughts by charades is too funny not to be canon!)

Sure, Alex. I want to see that damned thing gone for good!

(set Yashy to Auto-insult again please)

(Ehn… as the one controlling her I’m going to have to say no ;P. Goes against how she’s communicated thus far in this game. Which is a lot more subtle….and she would have written a note if she REALLY had to.

Sorry Yashy~)

So, who is coming with me to dispose of the ax?

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 4:41 PM EST.

I will soon but I must first see my Wife.
*Looks around*
Wherever she is.

(Oh and Yashy let people use what they’re use to. making changes just makes stuff more complicated)

I’m coming with you, you pinheaded cook!

Good, then at leasy I’ll have a witness that it’s gone. Oh and when we’re done can you deal with the flour in the kitchen, dusting for fingerprints is dirty work.

Ears give a twitch at the mention of cleaning up the flour… and Amanda decides to make some use of herself, fetching a broom to busy herself with something as she heads to the kitchen.

There, it’s gone. Everyone saw it. No more ax. It’s just a shame that we couldn’t find any prints on it to point to the murderer.

A horse neighs in the background. The boat becomes silent in awe. A lone traveler on the fiesta deck whispers,
“horselord”

when nothing more happens the passengers continue on their mystery. With a secret dread wrenched in their hearts.

Whispers if the horselord June 2, 2010, 5:43 PM EST.

Comment ID #35456

With a heavy metal end like the ax head it’ll sink faster than anybody could swim.
(I think we can ignore “whispers if the horselord”)

(Michelle: Ha ha ^_^

Sorry for ditching you guys, but I had to help my dad in a, you’ll never guess, ditch. It took quite a while longer than I expected.

It’s fun to see people’s suspicions surfacing. Keep on theorising - you are getting nearer to the conclusion. But there will be more incidents before we are done. Rest assured, though, that you are quite close.

The aforementioned incidents are coming soon (to a thea*BONK*)…)

(Actually to go back to David’s thoughts about the captain, he has had the chance to kill many of us, but hasn’t, and none of the clues except the limp actually point to him, if it ends up being him I will believe this round will have been poorly written indeed)

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 5:50 PM EST.

[THE FIFTH MURDER]

/Yashy, following the cook while yelling acid abuse, suddenly lays eyes on something strange. Alexander, long since having tuned out the yapping Yoshi, notices nothing. But the cleaning lady, distracted, follows eyes she cannot believe into the darkness…
“It cannot be,” she thinks, “we threw it overboard!” But her eyes do not deceive her, it is an axe. Only a little too late does she realise that this one is neither chipped nor stained with blood, and that there is a dark shadow gripping it. The murderer brings the axe down heavily, splitting the little lizard into two halves…/

Sandrine Siegler June 2, 2010, 6:02 PM EST.

(Let me look over the new death before I really show this)
(But, this tells us nothing new, except that there is another ax!)

“little newt thing…..where did it ……”

Stumbles onto scene while searching….

“Jesus christ fucks hamster for breakfast!!!!!!! someone killed the little newt thing….”

stares down at the body in disbeilf

“i was going to call her paco…..she would have been my freind…>>”

Davido Bavieca June 2, 2010, 6:07 PM EST.

(Just pointing out: A ship is required to have multiple fire extinguishers and axes, hence another axe.) (Guess we have an axe murderer on our hands then.)

(Well after reviewing the new death, which tells us very little, I shall once agin share OOC my suspect list, which I edited out. VOG means “voice of god” as in our narrator and I share a very abbreviated reason on why each may be a suspect, and so help me if VOG posts again while I’m typing this with new info then I’m leving it there.
•Captain: Helped heal Susanne, but she saw someone with a limp attack her, unlikely murderer
•Alexander: The manner of Olina’s death implies a chef, Tiramisu used extensively (5th death’s wording seems to imply that he is not the killer, but could be wrong)
•Paul: “Ladykiller” can also mean someone who dates many women, subtle VoG hint? Paul took tiramisu back to his room, we don’t know what happened to it
•Davido: No real evidence, but “Ladykiller” may apply to him too
•August: Hates Oliver Cromwell, enough to kill Theresa, his descendant?, has a pocket knife
•Zacharias: No more evidence than a pocket knife, unlikely, but be on lookout
Right now my thoughts are Paul, but I haven’t entirely put together why so I could be wrong)

Alexander Pjotr Makretzy June 2, 2010, 6:15 PM EST.

Comment ID #35483

(A hint… You must also look for those who were (or weren’t) present at the time of murder.)

Sandrine Siegler June 2, 2010, 6:15 PM EST.

Comment ID #35485

I was right in front of her, with my back turned, but I threw the ax in the water, you all saw me! I didn’t have anything to do this with!
(@ our resident narrator’s comment: I believe only Paul, David and Yashy came with me to dump the ax, now I must ask myself, is she hinting that it isn’t them?)
