Video game, and instrumental music mostly. Along with some classic rock to round out my play-list…. and.. a lot of Disney songs now that I think of it.
Right this minute?

I love the music from the Mega Man X series. I never played the third game or any that came after that, if it did. But twelve years after the last time I played it, I can still remember some of the riffs to that intro.
Also.

*A ninja always has many secrets which he is sworn never to reveal upon pain of death. The secret of the Ninja warm-up music is among the closely guarded of these secrets. It is a music so perfect that it allows even a mediocre Ninja to accomplish nigh-impossible tasks. Due to the perfection of this music, Ninjas rarely listen to other forms of music. It is therefore with great difficulty that the Ninja attempts to recall a musician that he listened to before he was inducted into the ranks of the Ninja Elite (the only ones permitted to use the Ninja warm-up music).*
…um…anybody heard of a guy named Bruce Hornsby?

Pretty much… None! ![]()
I listen to the occasional video game soundtrack, but other than that I find music annoying more than anything else.

*Silence…utter silence*
Sound of Silence? or do you not like what he did with Garfunkel?
Comment ID #16961
i listen to a lot of things.. favorites are “panic at the disco” and “system of a down”
Comment ID #16964
are you kidding i love what he did with garfunkel
parsley sage rosemary and thyme and bridge and over troubled water are 2 of my favorite folk/ pop albums everrr
however i think his solo stuff is more interesting because he experimented with other genres from around the world and incorporated his love of pop into them (esp on graceland)
also i dont think sound of silence is their best song
i dont even think thats the best song on the album of the same name

I mostly listen to metal, leaning towards Prog (Dream Theater, Protest The Hero, etc.) but I honestly listen to anything as long as it’s good.

I’m not sure if this will work, but these are playlists of my favorite songs:
Favorite songs
So-called “second place”, songs I like a lot but aren’t good enough (or repeatable enough) to be on my favorite list
Stuff I listen to but which isn’t my favorite. Sometimes gets upgraded to the first two lists.
Good times.

Mostly a lot of Metal, Progressive and Classic British Rock.
Megadeth, Dream Theater and Pink Floyd are freaking GAWDS! But, I always have time to listen to some other things and very rarely I’ll listen to Nu-Metal. (Really, it’s just Disturbed, SOAD etc.)

@ Dragon: The only one you and I have in common on the top of that list is “Sympathy for the Devil.” I like the guy who plays piano on that song, Nicky Hopkins, because he died from the same disease I have.
@ Ray: You know, having heard both versions of Pink Floyd’s “Echoes,” I can say the edited version from their “best of” album is easily one of the greatest songs of all time. Have you tried any of the movie syncs yet?

I’ll listen to just about anything, but my fav had to be Country music, which honestly peple usually think of old country when they imagine country music, it’s not at all what it used to be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atBg9zLI2bA A hilarious song by a new singer. If you watch it, wait until the second verse to judge

This song makes me think of BCB whenever I hear it since I was listening to it when I read trough the archives.
It kinda fits too.
Comment ID #22505
I don’t know how that makes you think of BCB, but that is a hilarious a capella version of it
Comment ID #22507
Like I said it’s mostly because I was listening to it while reading which makes me associate it with BCB.
Comment ID #22540
That happens to me. Songs get stuck the way they are where I here them sometimes. Example: I get physically ill when I hear the album “Low” by David Bowie because I was piss drunk when I heard it the first time.

Jason mraz! He just has the amazing power of making me happy whatever is going on :3

@ Tobee
I’ve got fond memories of Jason Mraz. Our showband played butterfly as part of their set list when I was in the military band so that song usually echoed in the halls of our barracks when they were practising during summer.

Hearing that always made me smile no matter what crap we had to go trough.

@Tobee and Pixelnator: I effin love Jason Mraz. Especially “Butterfly”. I loved how my mother had no idea what the song really was about, so I could sing it all the time anywhere and dance it up.
