[ah, hell, I can’t help but post, this next chapter is gonna be so exciting!]

An abandoned apartment stood empty and forgotten. Inside it was no different, except it was darker and more depressing looking. The only signs of life were rats that ran across the floor, and spiders crawling across their webs that lay on the corners of each room. A blue light shined brightly in one of larger rooms, sending the rats skittering away in fear, and the spiders crawling away to the nearest crack on the walls. Mike looked around as the light cleared from his eyes.

“Okay, I see nothing here that says we’re in the future or the past. So where are we?”

“Mike, just check your Time Warp device, it should tell you the date as well as the location.” Lucy said.

“Oh, right.” The Korat replied. He lifted up his Time Warp device and tapped in the keys that would reveal the date. But, when he finished, all he got on the small little screen was static.

“What the-? I don’t think it’s supposed to do that.” He said, he looked at Augustus who stared at his device.

“This is strange…” He said. “…And worrying.”

He tapped his transmitter.

“Sue? Our Time Warp devices are malfunctioning, do you know what’s going on?”

He waited. And waited. And waited as no answer came.

“Sue? Do you read me? McCain?”

After everyone tried contacting the T.L.P.F. HQ to no avail, Augustus sighed.

“This isn’t good. Something’s preventing us from reaching the T.L.P.F. HQ and is causing our Time Warp Devices and possibly our pistols to malfunction as well.”

“What do you think it could be?” Tess asked.

“ALIENS!!!” David yelled.

Paulo stared at the dog.

“What is with you and aliens, David?”

“Only one species of alien could cause our equipment to malfunction but they’re extinct.”

“How do you know?” David asked in a questioning tone.

“Because the T.L.P.F. wiped them out.”

“O-oh.” David replied.

“Okay, so what is it then?” Tess asked.

“Maybe our equipment our running low on batteries?” Mike suggested. Everyone stared.

“Oh come on Mike, seriously? Batteries?” Paulo said.

“It was just an idea.”

While everyone kept making suggestions and trying to regain contact with the HQ, Augustus took some steps toward a discolored old curtain that covered a window. Augustus pulled aside the curtain and he merely stared out.

“I just wish we knew where we were!” Mike called out in frustration.

“Why are you so desperate to know?” Lucy asked.

“Because we could be, literally, anywhere. We could be on some alien planet in the future for all we know!”

“We’re not.” Augustus said, catching everyone’s attention. He continued staring out the window. “I have a general idea of when and where we are.”

“What? What do you mean?” Daisy asked.

“Look outside and you’ll know too.”

Everyone slowly moved to the window. When they saw what was outside, they stared wide-eyed, David’s legs began shaking.

“T-that’s…” The very frightened dog stuttered.

“Yep.” Paulo answered. “This isn’t good.”

“For once, I agree with you.” Abbey said, keeping Daisy close.

“Oh no… The Elusionary is out there somewhere?” Mike asked, his eyes unmoving from outside.

“Even though we’re time traveling, I never thought we’d come here.” Lucy said.

“Our mission just got really difficult, didn’t it?” Tess said.

Augustus nodded.

Outside, their was an object. A flag flapping in the wind. On this flag was a bright red background with a white circle and in the middle of the circle was a black swastika.

um… wow~ I’m not sure what to say really except LOL! Also, OMG! 100 posts in this thread already!? I don’t believe it!]

“So… What do we do?” Paulo said, glancing back at the Nazi flag. Everyone had gathered around a circle in the room.

“We have lost all communication with the T.L.P.F. HQ which means we are trapped here. We need to find out what is causing our equipment to malfunction and, if we come across him, terminate the Elusionary.”

“You want us to go out there?” Paulo said, pointing to the flag. “Where Nazi soldiers are walking around?”

“Are you a Jew or religious in something that isn’t christian?” Augustus asked.

“N-no.” The Somali answered.

“Then you should be fine. We should all be fine as long as we make ourselves look like the crowd, and remember, the transmitters allow us to understand and speak any language.”

“What if that’s malfunctioning too?” Mike asked.

“Then, most likely, we are all going to die. But there shouldn’t be anything here to cause our devices to malfunction which means the timeline is in danger so we have to investigate.”

“What about David?” Paulo gestured to the shaking dog. “Those guys are sure going to try to kill him or worse.”

David shuddered.

“I don’t wanna go to their camps.” He said.

“Which is why he is going to remain here and stay hidden.” Augustus said.

Paulo stared.

“And if he’s found by them?” He asked.

“Then there’s nothing we really can do. If we try to interfere, we’ll have to use our weapons (if they even work) and that will certainly grab more Nazi’s to us, which would only damage the timeline as well as get us killed or captured.”

“Oh that’s just wonderful.” The dog said sarcastically. “Stay hidden and if I’m found then it’s ‘Goodbye cruel world!’”

For a while no one said anything. Then, Augustus stood up.

“Alright, David you hide here while we all see if we can find a way to restore communications with the T.L.P.F. HQ.”

David put his head down.

“Oh, this is a nightmare…”

Daisy put her hand on his shoulder. David looked up to see a sympathetic face on her.

“Don’t worry David, you’ll be okay.” She smiled at him reassuringly.

Poor David. Daisy thought. He must be so scared.

As they left the room leaving David behind. Abbey glanced at Augustus.

“So where do we start looking?” He asked.

“First, we need to find out where we are and when exactly we are.” Augustus answered.

“And how do we find that out?”

“We could ask people or find a newspaper. There are ways.”

As they made it to the doors that would lead them outside, they stopped, afraid to open the old wooden doors. Augustus took a deep breath, then opened them.

[Here’s a thing I thought would be cool: The Nazi’s are all cats and they kill and murder Jews and all that but they also hunt and kill dogs, hence why David is freaked out of his mind right now. Poor guy.]

Interesting idea, and it’s certainly believable for the world they’re in.

@Taeshi, I don’t know what’s stranger the fact that you drew that or the fact that you’ve been saving it…

And hahahaha Tayvin I see what you did there and totally approve, cats are such jerks. Does that mean modern day cats should be guilty?!?!?!?!!

Then again modern day german cats.

As they all walked out of the building, Augustus noticed a newspaper, ripped in multiple areas. Augustus picked up the paper but he growled when he was unable to discern the writing. He threw it down angrily.

“There doesn’t seem to be anyone around.” Mike pointed out. “So what are we going to do?”

Augustus didn’t answer.

Meanwhile

A few streets away, a black car drove through, the Nazi symbol proudly displayed in the front. Inside, Adler Rothstein fiddled with his hat nervously. Sitting beside him, Hermann Goring sensed his uneasiness.

“Do not worry.” He said to the discontent officer. “In a few hours we will have victory.”

“What do you mean!?” Adler asked angrily. “In a few hours the Soviet Army could arrive and they’ll overrun the entire city.”

“No they won’t.” Goring said, slowly turning to face him. “You’ll make sure of that.”

Adler stared, his mouth open.

Has Goring lost it too? The thought came to his mind.

“Sir.” He said, sounding as calm as he could. “With all due respect, the Soviet army could arrive any time now with a force large enough to easily take us. Even if I managed to hold them off we still have to face the American and the British forces coming in from the West! What makes you think that I can hold off 3 armies?”

“Who said you were in charge of the defenses of this city?” Goring said, confusing Rothstein. “You’ve got talent as a strategist, Rothstein. The potential to be better then Rommel or me or even the Fuhrer. And we’re not wasting that potential on a doomed assignment.”

“Better then the Fuhrer? With all due respect Goring, the Fuhrer is insane. Has been for years.” Adler said. Goring nodded.

“Yes he is, but he wasn’t when he first came to power. It was the defeats, all those defeats in this war that has driven him insane which brings me back to your assignment.”

“And what is my assignment?”

Goring smiled.

“You probably know that we have lost the war, it’s inevitable, now.”

Adler nodded.

“Everyone knows we have lost and those damn foreign forces are probably going to celebrate their victory and their so called ‘freedom’. But the Fuhrer, though insane, is a brilliant man. He has found something that can cause us to win the war before it even started.”

Adler looked at Goring, who looked back, smiling. He shook his head.

“You have lost your mind. What do you mean we can win the war before it even started?”

Goring did not stop smiling, which unsettled Adler a little.

“You will see.” The Nazi officer answered.

[Got to stop now, I might get a chance to post later but definitely not for a while.]

As Augustus, followed by everyone else, walked down the street, Mike scratched his head in confusion.

“Where is everyone?” He asked.

“This place doesn’t look like it was hit by shells or ruined or anything.” Lucy stated.

“You’re right.” Augustus said. “Looks like the war hasn’t hit here yet so why are people not walking in the streets? It doesn’t make sense.”

Mike’s ears twitched when he heard the sound of a car engine some distance away.

“Guys, I think a car’s coming.” The Korat said.

“Really? I don’t hear an engine.” Augustus said.

“I can hear it. And it’s getting closer.”

“Well then if it passes by us I’ll stop it and ask people for the date.” Paulo said. “It shouldn’t damage the timeline should it?”

“No, unless you get yourself run over.” Augustus replied.

“I’ll be careful.” The Somali said.

“It’s getting louder.” Mike said.

“I think I hear it too.” Abbey said.

Driving around a corner in front of the cops, a black car came driving up. Paulo went and gestured for the car to stop. Augustus failed to notice the Nazi symbol until it was too late. The car pulled up right beside Paulo, who had a look of victory on his face. But that look completely disappeared when the window rolled down to reveal a black-furred cat, a little bit of white fur was around his eyes making it look like he was wearing a white mask. But it was officers’ cap that displayed the eagle holding the Nazi symbol that caused Paulo to stare, wide-eyed and mouth open.

“Yes?” The officer said, staring at the Somali.

“Uh…” Was all he could say.

Meanwhile

“You sure this place is abandoned?”

“Of course. Look, you said wanted a place to take a break and this is the best spot, no one will think of looking for us here.”

“I really am desperate for a break from duty and having a smoke.”

“Don’t worry, 10 minutes for a smoke, then we head back to duty and no one will know we were gone.”

“Alright, you think the building is stable?”

“What are you? 7? Stop being afraid.”

Two gray-uniformed Nazi soldiers, one a gray-furred cat the other a white and black cat, began walking up the steps that lead to the inside of the building. The white and black cat tried to open the door but it doorknob clicked like it was locked. The gray cat sighed, pushing his friend to the side, he gave the door a good strong kick and it burst open.

“Was that really necessary?” The black and white soldier asked.

“I’m just bored, is all.” The gray soldier answered. They both entered the building, found a nice spot to sit and set their rifles down and grabbed a pack of smokes.

[there’s tension in the air. ooooooh! cliche, I know.]

No, why? Well story-wise the T.L.P.F. would never send the characters to 2001 or around that age. Why is that? Because somewhere the characters past-selves are somewhere in that time. Remember how I said the T.L.P.F. doesn’t take chances? If one of the characters were to come into contact with his/her younger self one can only imagine the devastation the timeline would suffer. But real-life wise 9/11 didn’t even come to my mind. And yes I did come up with the story wise excuse right on the spot, it does fit in with the T.L.P.F. not taking any chances.
@The Jousting Jester
Thanks for the comment, glad I have a new fan (wait, am I jumping to conclusions?)]

David sat still, his heart pounding when he heard the voices of the soldiers.

Ohgodohgodohgod! What do I do? What do I do!? WHAT DO I DO!?

His breathing began to quicken and it did not slow. David soon realized he was hyper-ventilating, which did not help as his panicked thoughts continued to form in his mind.

They’re going to find me and they’ll catch and torture again and again and again AAAAAAH!!!

The panicked dog heard laughter from below…

Meanwhile

Paulo stood still as he stared at the Nazi officer who stared back with questioning eyes.

“What do you want?” He said in a more impatient tone.

“Um… hi?” The Somali managed to squeak out.

Mike wanted to stick a piece of duct tape on Paulo’s mouth and shove him aside. But, instead, he merely pushed him aside.

He’s going to get us all killed. He thought. I’ve got to take matters into my own hands

“Uh, sorry about him sir it’s just he’s never come face-to-face with an officer of the Third Reich.” Mike said.

The officer’s right eyebrow went up.

“Really?”

Mike nodded.

“Yes, you see me and my friends…” he gestured to his friends who stared. “We’re all members of the Hitler Youth Club and we all adore you guys.”

Oh god I’m going to regret this.

Surprising and shocking all the time travelers. He lifted up his right arm stiffly in a Nazi salute and said “Hail!”

Everyone stared, wide-eyed and shocked.

“D-did he just…” Daisy stuttered.

“Yes, he did.” Abbey answered, his voice quiet.

“Oh my god… I can’t believe he did that…” Lucy said.

This must be what going mad must feel like. Augustus thought.

“I’ll never see him the same way again.” Tess said.

The officer was, obviously, unsurprised but not amused.

“Obviously you are but where are your uniforms? and why aren’t helping with the defenses of the city?” The officer asked in an impatient. Mike was taken off guard but he quickly regained.

“We were given a break.” He said quickly.

“A break?” This seemed to infuriate the officer. “A break!? Our country is surrounded from all sides and this city is the last thing standing against our enemies!!! We have no time for breaks!!! Who allowed you rest!!?” He yelled, a look of anger on his face. “Who!?”

“Adler, stop!” A voice from inside the car ordered. The officer went back in the car.

“But sir!” He protested. “This city needs all the help it can get.”

“The capital is doomed whether they help or not. Besides, your assignment will prevent the city from falling to enemy hands as I’ve said before.”

“The capital?” Mike repeated quietly. Oh shit! we’re in Berlin and if it’s about to fall then it’s 1945!

Meanwhile

David’s heart still pounded in his chest. The soldiers were chatting but they hadn’t left yet. Though his breathing had calmed down his ears were hard-pressed to hear for the sound of footsteps marching up the stairs. He closed his eyes for a while as he tried to hear what they were saying. Did they suspect he was here? Were they just relaxing? Or were they searching for something else? When he opened his eyes again, a black spider dangled on a thread of its silk right in front of him. David screamed and fell back.

As the two soldiers chatted about things, they stopped when they heard a scream and a thump.

“Did you hear that?” The gray cat asked. The white and black cat nodded and they both grabbed their rifles and walked up the stairs to the floor above.

[Believe me, I’m just as surprised as you guys may be with what Mike did.]

“Assignment? What assignment?” Paulo asked.

The officer turned and looked at Mike and Paulo.

“It doesn’t concern you.” He answered, his sky-eyes darted down to their arms. “What is that you have around your arms?”

Paulo looked down at his Time Warp device.

“Oh, this? um…”

Meanwhile

The steps of the soldiers grew louder and louder. David panicked and he tapped his transmitter.

“Guys? Can you hear me? 2 soldiers, they heard me. I need help. Hello? Anyone…?” His voice grew quiet.

Maybe, maybe they won’t come in this room and then I’ll be safe…

But then, the sound of calm, but loud and rhythmic stomping behind David caused him to spin around. Though his face was hidden, David could see the man wearing a tuxedo, a white gloved hand softly holding a black object lifted up to his shadowed forehead. Two fingers came up and he preformed a quick salute.

“There! Another noise!” Came a muffled voice.

“It’s coming from that room!” Came another.

“What are you doing!?” David cried out in a panicked voice.

The shadowed man brought his hand down a bit so it was the height of his chest, his thumb pressed a button down and he exploded into what David thought was colored dust which quickly evaporated into nothingness. David merely stared at the spot the man once stood.

Who was that guy? David thought. Was that the Elusionary?

The door behind David burst opened and he spun around to see two Nazi soldiers staring at him in shock. But their expressions quickly turned to anger.

“KILL HIM!!!” The gray-furred soldier yelled.

The soldiers both fired their rifles, David fell back as he felt the bullets whiz by him. He quickly got up, his training instinct took over. He rolled to evade more shots, drawing his pistol as he came back up, he fired at the gray-furred cat. He screamed as the light enveloped him and his rifle and he disappeared. The black and white cat stood in shock as he looked to the spot where his friend once stood.

“Jan?” He said, his voice small.

“Oh no…” David muttered. I forgot to set the pistol to a lower Power Level

The soldier looked at David, a look of pure hatred in his eyes.

“What did you do to him you thing!” He yelled as he got ready to fire again.

David brought his pistol back faster than the soldier and fired (missing intentionally). As the blue bolt whizzed past the soldier, causing him to take cover, David quickly set his pistol to Power Level 2 and bolted past the soldier down the stairs. He felt more bullets whiz by his head as the soldier hastily fired more shots at David.

[Ah man! I have to stop for now. And just at a suspenseful scene.]

Mike’s head darted in the direction where he heard the shots sound. Everyone else seemed to hear them as well.

“What was that?” Daisy asked.

“It’s coming from the direction of the apart…ment…” Mike stopped. He looked at Daisy, who looked back with the same worried look in her eyes. Mike looked to everyone as they figured it out as well. Suddenly, they burst into a run toward the direction of the shots and the abandoned apartment.

Adler pulled up his window.

“Driver.” He said. “Follow those kids, something isn’t right.”

“Rothstein!” Goring called. “What is going on?”

“Something is not right about those kids, sir. I just know it.

As they neared the building, they saw David run out main door, which was busted down.

“David! What’s going on!?” Augustus called out.

“They… They’ve found me!” He answered, panting.

They saw a soldier crawl out the main entrance of the building, a look of pure hatred in his eyes.

“Bastard!” He called. “This is for my brother!”

Mike only noticed the stick grenade he had in his hands until it was too late. He watched in horror as the David’s explosive death was tossed at him. But an energy shot zoomed over his head and hit the grenade, enveloping it in a blue light and then dissipating before it hit David. Mike spun around and saw Augustus holding his pistol up in the direction of the grenade.

“Everyone!” He said. “Set your pistols to Power Level 2! Things are about to get nasty!”

When Mike turned to face David, he sincerely wished he hadn’t. Though they were only specks, Mike could tell there were enough Nazi soldiers to cover the street, running in their direction. After setting their pistols to Power Level 2, they pointed it at the approaching soldiers, except for David who fired a shot at the black and white cat who struggled to get his rifle reloaded before the blast hit him and knocked him out.

“How far do these pistol’s shots go?” Lucy asked.

“Far enough to reach them.” Augustus answered. “Will fire until they disperse and take cover, then we run for it.”

They stood their for a moment longer, as the soldiers got closer to be able to fire their weapons. At Augustus’ call, they fired their pistols. Blue shots streaked toward the German soldiers. Some ducked while others got hit, the blue light spreading but then dying out, some soldiers checked to see if their fallen comrades were dead, only to find that they were unconscious. Some fired shots back at the time travelers in a vain attempt to suppress their attackers, some had already taken cover.

Adler stopped the car some distance behind the group, he got out and watched as they fired strange blue shots at the German platoon charging up at them.
What are they all doing here? There are just too many soldiers to come running when only a few shots were heard.
But Adler stopped when he realized that fellow Germans are being attacked, maybe even killed. He pulled out his Walther P38 pistol and aimed at Augustus. He fired.

Augustus was about to order his and his partners’ retreat when he felt something strike him in his right shoulder, the shock of the hit caused to collapse, screaming in pain.

Adler aimed at the orange cat with big ears and pulled the trigger.

Daisy looked at Augustus fall, her eyes wide as she realized the shot came from behind them. She was about to look when a piercing scream caused her heart to skip a beat. Her face went pale when she saw Abbey on the ground, trying to keep blood from spilling from his back onto the ground. She was about to rush to his side when a bullet hit her in her arm, then her leg, she fell screaming in pain.

Adler had fired a shot at the cat with a necklace but fired again but at her leg when he realized it would strike her in the arm. He aimed at the the cat with the peculiar looking hair and fired.

Paulo looked at everyone who lay on the ground, clutching or trying to clutch what had been hit. Did the German force in front of us score some lucky hits? He spun around when he heard Tess’ scream. She lay on the ground, screaming in pain. He saw the blood and rushed to her, only to trip as he felt something go into his leg.

Adler aimed at the dog, a look of hatred in his eyes as he fired. He saw the dog collapse. Then he quickly reloaded his gun as fast as he could. Then, after clicking his gun back, he aimed at the gray cat. Anger in his eyes, that cat had lied to him and betrayed his country. He fired, unloading his entire clip. He purposefully aimed so that the others were alive for interrogation but he didn’t care if the gray cat was killed. In fact, he wanted the gray one dead.

Lucy fired another shot at the Nazi soldiers charging at them.

“Mike!” She yelled. “We need to take cover!”

“Right!” He agreed. “I think we- AHH!!”

Lucy’s face went pale as his screams resonated in her ears. She turned and saw him on the face down on the ground, unmoving.

“Mike!? Oh god no, MIKE!!!” She dropped her pistol and ran, kneeling, she saw to her horror numerous bullet holes in him. This is a nightmare. She thought. It’s got to be. She turned and looked at the officer who had shot them all down.

Adler saw the white cat look at him from a distance. There was something about that white cat that made him uncomfortable. He stared back, eyes unmoving.

Lucy stared at the officer who stared back. Her eyes also unmoving, deep down under all the hate she had for that man, there was something about him that made her uncomfortable.

Adler slowly reloaded his pistol, staring at the white cat. Goring exited the car.

“What’s going on!? Who are those people? Rothstein, do you know them?…”

Adler ignored Goring, something that before now he would never have done but that cat made him uncomfortable like nothing ever before. He brought his pistol up after he reloaded it and fired.

Lucy saw him fire but was unable to dodge the bullet as it bit her in her shoulder. She hit the ground and tried to get but shots hit her in the back. She fell forward and glanced at Mike’s body. He can’t be dead She thought. Michael… You can’t be gone…

[Adler Rothstein (which translates to Eagle Redstone) is a DAMN GOOD SHOT.]

Is it an okay time now to say, “Hurrah for Time Reversal Rods!” Which are those things in the beginning of the story FFC used to heal the wound Lucy received from the gunslinger. Or were we supposed to not remember that and the fact that it’s most likely that most of the crew is probably unconscious, or are too grieved to remember they have them? Or that they probably can not reverse death?

… Just asking. Also, something I notice in your story is that the characters seem to have an amazing amount of agility and reaction time to dodge bullets. Just something I notice is all, unless I’m reading your posts wrong.

Lucy turned her head to look at the wound on her shoulder. Strangely enough, it didn’t hurt. None of her wounds hurt at all. A blackness began to surround her eyes as she pondered about why it didn’t hurt. It hurt when I got shot in the arm, so why doesn’t any of my wounds hurt now? Is it because I’m dying? Is this what dying feels like? I assumed it would hurt even more. I thought death was going to be more painful than when I got shot in the arm, more painful than when Augustus drove that healing rod in my arm. More painful than Mike hating m— She stopped her train of thought when she remembered how she was dying. Her eyes bolted open, her head darting toward Mike, who lay still unmoving as his blood continued to pour onto the ground.

“MIKE!!!” She called out. A burst of adrenaline began to course in her body as well as the pain from her wounds. She screamed and fell back when she tried to get up, the pain was too much. But one glance at the one person that mattered the most to her and her face became an expression of determination. Her hand reached for her Time Warp device as she frantically searched for the one thing that could save him from death. No one could get hit with a full load of clips from any gun and live for long and Lucy knew that, if Mike is still alive then it’s his best chance for survival.

Lucy clutched the rod in her hand, it’s gold rings shining. She remembered learning from training that the Time Reversal Rod could heal any wound on a person so long as that person was alive. She looked at Mike and began to crawl over to him. Despite the excruciating amount of pain and the fact that she began to lose strength again, she got to the (hopefully) unconscious Korat. There were loud hitting sounds that were being droned out by her heartbeat. All sounds were droned out by her heartbeat which throbbed in her ear. She held the rod high in the air and drove it down deep into one of Mike’s wounds.

For a moment, nothing happened. The wounds remained and Lucy’s strength continued to wain, her hand holding the rod wavered as she struggled to continue holding on to it. Tears began to stream down her face as she began to lose hope for his survival. Then, she noticed the blood wasn’t coming out, it was receding. Flowing back into Michael’s wounds which also began to close. More tears began to stream down from her eyes but she smiled. He was alive, he had lived long enough for Lucy to remove the injuries from him and keep him alive. When the last drop of blood and injury disappeared. Lucy pulled out the rod, a small amount of dried blood was all that remained of Mike’s injury. She buried her face on his back and sobbed quietly for a moment. She lifted her head though, when she remembered everyone else, injured. She was about to go and try to help them when she looked up and saw a Nazi soldier stare at her in shock and surprise, he had seen the whole thing. Then, he regained his composure and lifted his left foot. Lucy didn’t even have time to look away before the soldier’s booted foot drove into her face…

[@Fraggart
I forgot to mention, I didn’t have a name for that rod and then you come with that name. I find that name perfect for it so I decided to use it, hope that it’s okay for me to do that. Oh and before anyone asks why Lucy forgot about EVERYTHING while she was supposedly “dying”, let me let you all know it will covered later on.

Adler walked forward, leaving Goring behind. He returned his Walther P38 in its holster, paying little attention to the soldiers beating and knocking out the traitors. His full focus was on the white cat who now lay unconscious next to the gray cat. He stopped when he saw the gray one, his wounds were gone! Adler stared, confused and shocked. When he stood farther back, he had seen the white cat crawl toward the gray one and drive something in him but Adler couldn’t make any sense of it. He stared at the unconscious girl who, strangely, seemed peaceful despite the more-than-likely broken nose that bled. It was a trait that reminded him of his sister. He faced the soldier that knocked her out and he saluted.

“Sir! Permission to speak freely?” He asked.

Adler nodded. The soldier lowered his hand.

“Sir. I would just like to say that I have never, in my entire life, seen anyone shoot as accurately as you have. And, by god, with a pistol! Of all weapons!”

“You obviously haven’t seen me in the war.” Rothstein said. “Now, you were closest when you saw this girl, what happened? I fired at the gray one there and I know I had hit him but his back shows no signs of injury.”

The soldier looked at the two unconscious cats that lay on the ground.

“Y-you’re not going to believe this sir but… I saw the wounds and it seemed like you unloaded an entire clip on him. The girl seemed greatly distressed, but she seemed very weak…” The soldier relayed that he saw the girl grab a small rod from god knows where and crawled toward the gray cat. Adler did not interrupt but stared wide-eyed as the soldier told him that she drove the rod into the gray cat and, to his surprise, saw the wounds heal. “…even the blood moved back in and when she pulled it out, there was nothing! No wounds at all, he looked like he had never been hit!”

“Show me the rod.” Adler ordered. The soldier obeyed and pulled the small rod out of the cat’s hand and gave it to his superior officer. He looked over the small object, looking through every detail. This is impossible he thought. It’s just not possible for something this small to repair all that damage, and what about the bullets? They must still be their, this cat should be dead!.

“Rothstein!” Goring called, walking up to him. His presence caused all the soldiers to stand up straight and salute. Goring waved them off and they returned to what they were doing. “What happened?”

Rothstein relayed what he had seen, done, and been told. From shooting down the traitors one by one to the gray cat’s injuries being healed (but he left out the detail that there was something that made him uneasy about the white cat). Strangely, Goring grew excited, he asked for the rod which Adler handed to him willingly. Then, he requested one of the weapons they. One of the soldiers grabbed one of the pistols and handed it to Goring, who looked at it like a child with a new toy.

“If you look at the design, sir.” Adler said, who also stared at the pistol. “It’s nothing like I’ve ever seen. We definitely don’t have anything like this.”

“No…” Goring said, grinning. “No nation in the world has anything like this. 6 months back I would’ve thought all these events totally insane but now… I think I have a vague idea of where these kids and their weapons are from.”

“Huh? Where sir?”

But Goring didn’t answer, he face on of the soldiers.

“Call in a personnel transport, put these kids in the vehicle and tell the driver that once he has everyone, tell him to follow my car.”

The soldier saluted, and left to do what he was ordered.

“Sir, I don’t understand. Where are we heading?” He asked.

“Once I explain your assignment to you, Rothstein, you will understand my words and actions today but I cannot tell you here.”

“But why are we bringing them with us?”

Goring stared at Adler.

“All day, I have been extremely patient with your constant questions but my patience is thin now, you will my full meaning once we reach the facility. Now, return to the car while we wait for a truck to come and transport out ‘guests’ to the facility.”

Adler saluted and returned to the car, but he hated being kept in the dark. He wanted to know things sooner than later so he would have more time to plan but Goring obviously had something big planned.

Whatever it is… it had better be good.

[Man, I had a lot of fun writing this particular post. I’m not sure why though…]

As Adler watched them load the unconscious traitors into the truck, Goring entered right beside him, smiling as if he were victorious.

“Driver!” He called. “Take us to the Base.”

The driver acknowledged and drove past the truck, which started its engine and drove forward, following the car…

Nine passengers sat in the back of the truck. 2 of them German soldiers bearing MP-40s, the rest were the unconscious time travelers. The guards discussed and joked and laughed. Amidst their chatting, they failed to notice one of the other passengers stir. Mike groaned as he sat up, trying to get a better idea of where he was. He looked and saw the guards talking, and he saw his friends, unconscious and wounded. Forgetting everything else, he pulled out his Time Reversal Rod from his Time Warp Device and went to the nearest person next to him, which happened to be Lucy, and drove the rod into one of her wounds. After Lucy’s wounds were healed, Mike went to Tess, who was the next closest person to him, he was about to drive the rod in when the guards noticed him. The clicked their guns and pointed them at the Korat. Mike glanced down and noticed his holster, along with his pistol, was gone. They took our weapons but why didn’t they take our Time Warp Devices?.

“Get back to your seat.” One of the guards ordered.

“I’m trying to help her.” Mike said, gesturing to Tess.

“How?” One of the guards asked, his weapon unmoving. “By putting that into one of her wounds?”

“Actually, yes.” Mike answered, confusing the guards. “I’ll show you.”

Mike drove the rod in one of her wounds and the soldiers watched in shock as they healed.

“T-t-that’s imp-possible.” One of them stuttered out.

Mike ignored their amazed and shocked looks. He cleaned off the dried blood that remained on both tips of the rod

“Now, I’m going to help the rest of my friends.” He said and went to Paulo.

“Should we stop him?” One of the guards whispered to his partner.

“I don’t see why we should, our orders were to stop any of them from escaping.”

The first guard nodded and they watched as Mike went to work healing them.

“I’ve never seen technology like that. Where exactly are you from?” The first guard asked.

“Roseville.” Mike answered without thinking, then he cringed when he realized his mistake.

“Roseville? Where is that?”

Seeing no way out, Mike decided to answer in truth.

“America.”

The guards burst out laughing. Michael growled in annoyance as he finished healing Daisy.

“Yeah, heh heh, and I’m from Britain!” The second guard said sarcastically.

“Laugh it up.” Mike mumbled. Then it dawned on him. Yes, laugh it up while you can, you’re going to lose the war in a few months anyways. Amused, he smiled.

“What are you smiling for?” The second guard asked.

“Oh nothing.” Mike answered, pulling the rod out of Augustus. Now it’s just David left.

But as he moved to David, the guards pointed their guns at him.

“Leave it.” They said.

“What?” Mike asked.

“Leave that… thing wounded.”

Mike looked at David, then back at the guards. Right, I forgot about the way Nazi’s thought of dogs.

“We let you fix up your friends only because they were cats but don’t heal the dog.”

“He could die though.”

“GOOD!” They answered.

Mike stared angrily at the guards, then he turned and drove the rod in David’s wound.

“Stop!” They said. “We will fire!”

“No you won’t.” Said a voice. They looked down and noticed Augustus staring up at them, holding two small transparent squares in his hand.

“What are those?” The first guard asked.

“A lot of volts.” He answered.

“What?”

Without warning, he threw them both at the guards. They landed and stuck onto their uniforms. Then, Mike saw the soldiers scream and fall to their seats, twitching.

“Those steal helmets of yours conducts electricity pretty well, don’t they?” Augustus taunted as he got up.

“What did you do?” Mike asked, pulling the rod out of David.

“Those were packets of electricity, they were meant to give electrical devices a little bit of extra juice though they can make great weapons for incapacitating people for a short time.”

“So, they’re not dead?” Mike asked.

“No, only stunned. For how long exactly, I can’t say, but it’s going to be at least 10 minutes.”

“More then we need to escape.”

“We’re not going to.” Augustus said.

“What? Why?”

“We are captured by the Nazi’s. You would think, because we were in Berlin, we would be taken to the Gestapo but no. We’re being taken away from the capital which is very odd since their is no reason to take us away from the capital. And there is also that officer, the one that single-handedly shot us all down. I know all the Nazi officers in the Third Reich and that man who shot us down is not one of them, yet his rankings show he is extremely high in the SS. I have no idea who he is and that means he’s not supposed to be an officer. Plus, there’s something out there that is causing most of our technology to malfunction. I have a feeling that these two things are closely linked together. If that’s the case, then that means the timeline was in danger before we came here. So, we are staying here to find out what is going on exactly”

“What do you think is going on?” Mike asked.

Augustus shook his head.

“Your guess is as good as mine.”

Spelling and grammatical mistakes I noticed, purely because I’m a Grammar Nazi. Pun not intended. Edits italicised.

“‘All day, I have been extremely patient with your constant questioning but my supply is running thin, you will my understand my full meaning once we reach the facility. Now, return to the car while we wait for a truck to come and transport our ‘guests’ to the facility.’”

“Adler saluted and returned to the car, but he hated being kept in the dark. He wanted to know things sooner than later so he would have more time to plan and Goring obviously had something big planned.”

“They took our weapons comma but why didn’t they take our Time Warp Devices?.”

“Mike drove the rod in one of her wounds and the soldiers watched in shock as they healed.” Nothing wrong here, but I would consider adding in how the rods work purely because I like things long and convoluted. Maybe something along the lines of the rod creating a small hole in the fabric of time to go backwards to the point where they weren’t wounded because they weren’t meant to be wounded in the first place, along with repairing anything else that wasn’t meant to be physically hurt, like the Great Wall? You don’t have to of course, but just an idea is all. Else you might as well change the name to “The Magic Healing Stick.”

“‘Now, I’m going to help the rest of my friends comma‘” he said and went to Paulo.”

“‘I’ve never seen technology like that. Where exactly are you from?’ The first guard asked.” I would consider adding the adverb “suspiciously” here because if the enemy had that sort of technology, wouldn’t you have think they would have seen it used in the field before this event? Again, just a suggestion.

“’Those steel helmets of yours conducts electricity pretty well, don’t they?’”

“’Those were packets of electricitysemicolon they were meant to give electrical devices a little bit of extra juice comma though they can make great weapons for incapacitating people for a short time.’”

“’… there is no reason to take us away from the capital.’”

Well that’s all I can see so far. Hope I didn’t come off as a total literature freak. ^^;

[@Taeshi
It’s only with Adler that gets a weird feeling from Lucy and if you look back some posts, you’ll see that Lucy also gets a weird feeling from Adler.]

As the truck drove through the old dirt road, Mike helped his friends keep from falling over as they regained their consciousness. Soon, everyone but Lucy was awake.

“Hey.” Tess said. “Where are our injuries? Didn’t we get hit?”

Augustus nodded while Mike, half-smiling, showed his Time Reversal Rod to them all. They nodded, now understanding what happened.

“Those things are pretty cool.” Paulo stated. “The future has some amazing technologies.”

“Nanomites.” Augustus said. “They amaze even the even the man who invented them.”

“When do Nanomites start showing up?” Daisy asked.

“The Nanomites were created at around 7890 at the Mars Core Research Facility. They’re microscopic robots that can be programmed to do… Anything, so long as it’s not violent they can do anything. The Nanomites in the Time Reversal Rods are programmed to fix any injury on whatever body they come into contact with. It’s a very easy task for them to take care of and it’s very simple to close an open wound, all you have to do is get the right cells to the right spot and the wound heals up faster than ever.”

“And the Nanomites also bring back any blood that has poured out?” Abbey asked.

“Yes.” Augustus answered. “So long as the blood is in contact with any part of the of body then they will bring the blood back and while they are bringing it back they also clean it of any dirt and bacteria that may have gotten on the blood.”

“What about any obstacles they encounter?” Mike said.

Augustus turned to face the Korat.

“I’m sorry?”

“How do they deal with objects that aren’t supposed to be a part of the body like… I don’t know, bullets?” Mike said sarcastically.

“They throw them out.” Augustus simply said, Abbey’s right eyebrow lifted up.

“They throw the bullets out?” He repeated in a questioning tone.

“Yes. They break apart the bullets into microscopic pieces and they throw them out of the wound.”

“Wouldn’t that take a while?” Paulo asked.

“No, because Nanomites are extremely fast. They can get a lot of things done very quickly which makes them very convenient.”

“So how come the rods are called Time Reversal Rods if they don’t even reverse time?” Paulo asked.

“So that no one knows it’s actually Nanomites. We want to have a certain level of mystery around the machines we use for psychological reasons.”

“Were Nanomites useful back when they were invented in 7890?” Mike asked.

“Very. For 2 years civilization prospered in a golden age because of the Nanomites.” Augustus’ face then darkened. “Until the Elusionary intervened.”

“What do you mean?”

“The Mars Core Research Facility created a new version of Nanomites. They were the Mark 2 version of the Nanomites and they were supposed to be faster, stronger and more cheap then the last Nanomites. People were very excited for the time they were going to be shipped out.”

“But the Elusionary destroyed them?” Mike asked.

“Yes. He infiltrated the Mars Core Research Facility and destroyed them, along with the base and all of its personnel.”

“The Elusionary destroyed the base along with everyone in it?” Daisy asked, wide-eyed.

“3892…” Augustus replied, he looked up as if he were lost in thought. “…That’s how many people were in that base and they were all killed in an instant. Including my parents.”

“What?”

“They were Officers for the T.L.P.F. as well… And the Elusionary killed them.” He growled. Everyone was silent as they watched Augustus and they suddenly knew: Augustus lost his parents because of the Elusionary and he was thirsting for revenge. He would do whatever it took to kill the Elusionary, no matter what.

Mike got a shiver up from the tip of his tail to the tips of his ears when he saw the seething hatred in Augustus’ eyes and the anger on his face. But the hatred disappeared completely when a groan was heard. Augustus looked and saw one of the Nazi’s stir.

“Ooooh… What happened?” He groaned.

“You fell asleep.” Augustus answered.

“I did?”

“Yep. You and your friend.”

The soldier glanced at the other, who lay on his seat like he was sleeping.

“Oh no…” He muttered. He quickly sat up and glanced to everyone else. “Please… Don’t tell any of our superiors we fell asleep on duty, we’re already in trouble from 2 days back.”

Augustus nodded.

“Not a word. Besides it’s not like anyone will believe us.”

[Glad things have gotten really exciting now. I am so glad I decided this post this story]

Adler looked closely at where the car was taking him. He had expected to have not a clue of where it was taking him, but he knew the road they were on and he knew where it led.

“Sir” he said. “I know where we are going. We’re heading to a bunker.”

“You know of it?” Goring asked, glancing at the officer.

“Only that it’s a weak bunker, it couldn’t even shield a direct hit from a bomb without collapsing.”

“You’re right, it was a failed construction: Unimportant, it soon became completely forgotten… until the portal appeared.”

“The what?”

But Goring didn’t answer when they were stopped by a road block set up by German soldiers. But one look at Goring and they hastily opened the road for them, saluting as they passed.

“So, what exactly is the plan?” Whispered Tess, now that the guards were awake, they had to be more careful of what to say and how loudly they should talk.

“I have a feeling that the Nazis are somehow involved with our equipment malfunctioning and they may be taking us to the source of whatever is causing this.” Augustus answered in the same volume

For a few moments, no one said anything.

“You think Sue and McCain know they can’t reach us and vice versa?” Tess asked.

“It’s likely.” Augustus answered.

“What if you’re wrong Augustus?” Mike asked. “What if the Nazis don’t have anything to do with what’s happening with our equipment?”

“Then why not take us to the Gestapo? Or kill us? And then there is that officer, the one that shot us down.”

“What about him?” Daisy asked.

“I know all the records of all the high-ranking Nazis of World War 2 and that man is not one of them and, from what I saw of his uniform he was, he would’ve been known and there would’ve been records of him.”

“But there isn’t.” Paulo said.

Augustus nodded. “Yes. This means he is not supposed to be that rank, which means the timeline has already taken damage. In order to repair as much as much as we can we need to find out how he came up so high in power and then kill him.”

“What about the Elusionary?” Abbey asked. “He’s still out there, somewhere.”

Augustus sighed. “Without contact with T.L.P.F. HQ, let alone our Operators, we be on a wild goose chase for the Elusionary, not knowing where he is or if he’s even left. Only our Operators know the general location of the Elusionary so we need to establish contact back with the HQ.”

“What about our weapons? We haven’t got any weapons.” Mike said.

“We won’t need them until we try to escape and by then I hope to know the location of our pistols.”

“Have you been in situations this tricky before?” Mike asked.

Augustus shrugged. “Once or twice.”

“Good, that helps with my confidence that we’ll escape.”

[and yet more discussing the situation which keeps switching from point of view to point to view: Bad guy and Good guys trying to figure what exactly is going on. I’m glad it’s not a disappointment, though]

In a small sentry tower, where 3 German guards sat, two were playing a game of cards while another guard looked out across the landscape, completely bored. He was about to fall asleep when he noticed a speck of movement. He stood up from his seat, leaning over the railing as he to discern what it was. It was a vehicle, definitely but was it Ally or German. The young soldier brought his binoculars and looked through them. His first reaction was relief; he saw a small car and a truck, both German. But his second reaction became that of anxiety and excitement at the same time. He turned to his colleagues.

“Put the cards away, you fools and signal the base! Hermann Goring is coming!” The guards scrambled to put the cards away. After that they hastily grabbed a large light. Pointing it in the direction of their base, one of them flipped the switch. On and off, on and off the light shined and then went blank and then shined again.

Some distance away, another sentry tower standing next to a small entrance of a bunker and a large gun pointed to the sky. 2 guards watched from the tower, a sniper lay in silence as he looked through the scope of his rifle, while the other higher ranking guard stood and brought his binoculars up when he saw a flash in the distance. The other tower lay in plain sight and he barely make out the guards in the tower as they shone the light in a specific code which spelled out the code word: G-O-R-I-N-G. Rushing over to look down at one of the guards, the guard cupped his hands around his mouth.

“Hey!” He called.

The guard looked up with a questioning look on his face.

“Inform the base! Hermann Goring is coming! Today might be the day!”

The guard immediately rushed over to the entrance of the bunker. Opening the door, he rushed in where a radio sat on the wall and clicked it on.

“All personnel in the base, Hermann Goring is coming! Repeat, Hermann Goring is coming! Prepare for his arrival!” He clicked it off and rushed outside. A few minutes later, German soldiers wearing black uniforms rushed out with their rifles and stood out in two rows, facing the other row.

By the time the car and truck arrived, an impressive sight lay before them as the guards stood at attention. The sniper in the tower tracked the car as it pulled to the side, Goring came out first. The sniper’s crosshairs moved over the German officer, but then Adler Rothstein came out on the other side of the car. The sniper pointed his rifle to him as he inspected the new arrival; it was a German officer of high rank but one that the sniper didn’t recognize. Then two guards came out of the truck, their machine guns pointing inside the truck as they ushered out the rest of the passengers. The sniper moved his crosshairs over one of them, a white cat with black ears wearing some kind of black clothing. This one wasn’t German and he obviously was a prisoner from the way the guards had their guns out. The sniper clicked the safety off his rifle, now ready to shoot any of them if they tried to escape.

Augustus looked over the Sentry tower (noted the sniper looking at them), looked over the bunker, and all the German guards, and the Anti-Aircraft gun that lay pointing at the sky.

I know this bunker. He thought. And it has way too much attention then it should.

A German officer sprinted out of the entrance of the bunker and saluted Goring.

“Sir! Good to see you back again.”

“And you.” Goring greeted back.

The officer looked at Adler.

“And who is this?” He asked.

“This is Adler Rothstein, he has been hand-picked for the job.”

The officer looked at Goring, his eyes wide.

“Y-you mean today is finally the day?”

“As soon as Adler knows of what is really going on, then victory will be at hand.”

“Oh, this is excellent, truly excellent.” His hands shook with excitement, and then he noticed the group of prisoners standing behind the higher ranked officers.

“Who are they?” He asked in a suspicious tone.

“Prisoners, we caught them using weapons whose techonology is beyond anything we have ever seen, we have their weapons and I want your scientists to examine them.”

“Of course sir.”

As they moved into the bunker, Augustus grabbed out a small rod with a single red ring around the tip and tapped it to the AA gun as he passed by it. He grinned as they entered the bunker.

The sniper eased himself when he saw them all enter inside the building. His higher ranked partner smiffed the air loudly.

“Take a good whif of this air, Sharpeye. This will be the day of our country’s rise to power and this time nothing will stop us.”

The sniper smiled. It quickly faded, however, when he heard a loud rustle in the opposite direction.

“What was that?” The other German soldier asked.

The sniper brought his rifle to the sound of the rustling, in the direction of the trees. He looked through his scope and moved it around, looking for any signs of life aside from plant and critter. Then he saw a face, staring up at him and pointing a strange looking pistol at him. But he had no time to react when a blue bolt hit him the face. The other German soldier looked at his partner and saw the light die out on the sniper’s face. He quickly checked to see if there was a pulse, there was which meant he was alive. He brought out his pistol but another bolt from the same direction hit him in the chest and he collasped. Unconscious.

Two other Germans, one a guard and the other manning the AA gun. Heard the strange sounds of the bolts firing. The guard pointed his rifle in the direction of the shots, while the other brought his pistol out. They both saw someone wearing a brown coat and small black gloves step out of the trees.

“You!” The guard said. “Drop you weapon and-” He never finished when a bolt hit him the chest. Another bolt hit the other German and he fell off his AA turret. The person slowly walked over and quietly opened the door and caustiously moved inside, closing the door.

[and who is this new person? A friend? a Foe? Who knows? Well, I do.]

As they were lead through the tight hallways of the bunker, Paulo grumbled.

“You know Augustus…” He said. “…You said, in our first mission, things would get easier from here on out and look where we are… We’re being held at gunpoint by Nazis. NAZIS FOR GOD’S SAKE! YOU NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT NAZIS DID YOU?”

“Ack! Paulo, not so loud!” Mike flinched, covering his ears.

“I’LL SPEAK AT WHATEVER VOLUME I WANT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!”

A cha-click was heard behind the raging Somali which made his rage stop and his face pale.

“Shut. Up.” The German guard ordered, pointing his machine gun at him.

“Yessir.” Paulo answered quickly. He didn’t say another word.

Augustus paid close attention to all the designs of the walls, the conversation between the Nazi officers, and every German they passed by.

It’s changed. He thought. It’s much bigger than it should be. Something happened here, but what?

He noticed, to his dismay, that the German officers turned to a different direction, a different hall. Damn… I guess we’ll have to find out ourselves. He looked back and noticed the group of black uniformed Nazi soldiers ushering them on. Maybe when there’s less guards, then we’ll strike.

Meanwhile

Goring and the other officer talked about things that did not make any sense to Adler. They talked about the fall the US, Britain and Soviet Russia which seemed impossible to him but they talked about it like it was going to happen any minute. Adler kept silent, not daring to question Goring any further. They soon came to a large room, circular room. Actually, room wasn’t the right term for it, it seemed more a like a factory to him. Adler stopped dead in his tracks as he looked all around him. People working on constructing tanks!

“Th…” He stuttered, trying to find the right words. “W-what is… Has this bunker been converted into a factory?”

Goring and the other officer turned to face Adler.

“Technically no, Rothstein.” The officer answered. “We can’t really make the parts for armoured vehicles down here. So we had the parts made elsewhere and then brought down here to put the tanks together here.”

“But why? What’s the point? If you can’t get a tank down here you certainly can’t get up there from here.”

“Actually we have another way.” Goring said.

“What?” Adler stared.

“He really doesn’t know, does he?”

“For secrecy’s sake.” Goring said. “Besides it can’t really be explained until he sees it.”

Goring signaled for Adler to follow, who did after another look at the all work going on around him. Something big is being prepared. He realized. Maybe the war really isn’t lost as I had previously thought.

Good Post. I mean it. Taeshi should draw this for the extras as a alternative story.

Augustus really rokc here ( i know rokc) but the plot do should rise the others too, I mean after all they are the “good” in the real comic.

If the future was so advanced why they didnt wiped their memories and returned them to their time and world.

And if theres other worlds they could be based on other web comics… You know …. for the guests… or not. *Hara Kiri*

PS: Do they travel to the apocalypse?
Their base is in the end of time?
Will Paulo reconcile with Jasmine?
Are you gonna make this drawn?
Could I be in it? (I just had to ask)
Do the germans adopt Lucy as their Fuhrer?
Will Mike crosspaths with Sandy on his Travels….or end with Lucy…?
Will I shut up with dah spoilers?

Who knows…. But all are good Ideas…. or not….
Yeah now i shalll shut up

MAGIC! It’s the only logical explanation, and you all know it. Even Tayvin knows it, except he’ll try to cover it up with something as cheesy as “teleporters” or “Time-Machines that brought the materials (Extra-Strength Industrial brand Iron. Now with extra fascism!) to the bunker that engineers later filed in to build tanks out of them while they prepared the teleporters again to send the now newly built tanks into the past to turn the tide of very crucial battles in the past that cost them dearly defeats, which eventually lead to their fall in 1945, but that horribly changed the timeline and now it’s Augustus and his crew of motley recruits to save the world (tune in next time to read more!)” or “both.”

Psh. Magic I tell you.

The writing is really easy to read and adventure-y, congratulations. Can’t wait to read what happens next.

The plot reminds me of “The End of Eternity” by Isaac Asimov, have you read it?Your story is much less dark, and dare I say less realistic. I mean why did Augustus let Mike and Lucy go in the beginning, it was obvious they’d tell somebody. And wouldn’t a large group of kids disappearing affect history? Anyway, that nitpicking is not important, I still like it and want to know what will it all mean in the end.

At first when they looked out the window I thought “Are they in Hiroshima or something?” But that would be wrong…

@Post a Comment, They do have the technology but it’s impossible to truly Erase a memory from the mind, there’s a chance they could remember what happened again. Remember: The T.L.P.F. Doesn’t take chances and plus the T.L.P.F. could use the extra manpower to keep things in order. Might as well answer the rest of your questions
Do they travel to the apocalypse? Maybe, maybe not
Their base is in the end of time? No, it is outside of time, this is already covered in the story, just look back in Chapter 2 and you should find it
Will Paulo reconcile with Jasmine? Maybe, maybe not
Are you gonna make this drawn? I can’t, for the love of my life, draw. I would love for it to be drawn, but so far no one has contacted me. *shrugs* I guess no one wants to draw it and I’m cool with that.
Could I be in it? No. Don’t ask again.
Do the germans adopt Lucy as their Fuhrer? What? Are you serious or are you just trying doing this to spite me?
Will Mike crosspaths with Sandy on his Travels….or end with Lucy…? maybe, maybe not
Will I shut up with dah spoilers? Yes. please do.

@Fraggart
Magic as an excuse is more cheesy than a teleporter because a teleporter makes more sense. Magic you cannot explain that well with this story. Teleporters, you can. Not that it is a teleporter (crap, I’ve got you all thinking it’s a teleporter, didn’t I?).

@Fizmat
I know of Isaac Asimov but I have not read any of his works, I wish I had. Augustus doesn’t know Mike and Lucy that well. Some people, after seeing something they couldn’t really explain just try to ignore it (believe it or not) and eventually forget about it, but as we all know Mike and Lucy are not those kinds of people but Augustus didn’t know that and hoped they would. And a large group of kids disappearing would affect the timeline, especially if they were going to be important but, remember they are time travellers now, they can just simply come back a few minutes after Augustus took them away, no one would know they were gone.

Don’t worry, I’m getting to work on the next post of the story.

@Tayvin
The “magic” excuse was more of a joke than anything else… most of my completely unreasonable guesses were in the quotes.

And yes, you’ve got us thinking teleporters, and I see you have done nothing to discredit my Time Traveling Machine theory. ;D
