Jacob climbed the ladder and ran up to the roof. When he looked around, he noticed he was trapped. Paulo was the first to climb up the ladder.
“Alright Jacob! Nowhere to go now.” The Somali taunted.
“You think I want to go back to my time!?” The dog retorted. “I came here to escape execution and start a new life.”
“Going back in time is against the law, Jacob.” Abbey said as he reached the roof. “You have no idea how much damage you could do to the timeline.”
Jacob stared at them.
“And, we will kill you if you resist any further.”
“Why not kill me now? I’m dead either way.”
“Maybe… but I need to ask you something.”
Abbey holstered his pistol, surprising Paulo and Jacob.
“How do you know of the T.L.P.F?” He asked.
Jacob relaxed somewhat.
“I learned of the time cops from the Dealer.”
“You’ve met him?”
“And I know where and when his base of operations is. The information’s all yours if you let me go.”
Abbey and Paulo stood where they were for a moment. Letting him go isn’t an option, but if we find the location of the Dealer, we might have the chance to stop this increase of fugitives from popping up all over the place…
“I can’t let you escape, Jacob, but we need the information you have… Let me take you to our base, that way we-“
“Screw that!” Jacob yelled. “The Dealer told me about the way you handle fugitives, I’d rather die and take you down with me!”
Jacob then reached into his pocket, his face now determined. But a blue bolt from Paulo’s pistol struck him square in the chest, disintegrating Jacob. As Jacob disappeared, a small silver ball flew from his hands and landed on the ground and began humming.
“Huh? What is that?” Paulo asked.
“I don’t know…” Abbey answered. “…but I don’t like it. McCain! What is that?”
“Analyzing…” McCain said. “Hmm… How interesting…”
“What?”
“It appears to be a bomb capable of demolishing the entire farm. If you do not get about 2.5 miles away from it within 1 minute and 30 seconds, you will all die painfully and likely will be screaming.”
Panic gripped Abbey and Paulo.
“DAVID!” The Somali yelled. “WHERE ARE YOU!!?”
“IN THE BARN, TRYING TO FIND A PLACE TO GO POTTY BUT IT CAN WAIT!!” David responded, having heard McCain’s description as well.
“Abbey!” Daisy yelled through her transmitter. “Get out of there!”
With each second, the ball grew louder and louder. Abbey and Paulo furiously tapped the keys on their devices that would take them back to the HQ.
“Come on, come on, come on!” Abbey yelled. Just as a blue light began obscuring his vision, the bomb exploded in a bright flash. The blue light that was taking over Abbey’s vision was instantly overcome by the white flash. There was a roaring sound like an earthquake that completely enveloped his ears and his body felt like it was bursting into flames, Abbey screamed…

[Hey guys, here’s another post that I managed to make on my spare time]
Sue’s heart pounded in her chest as she typed furiously on the controls while the signals of Abbey, Paulo, and David flickered. If those signals died, then that meant they were gone. NO! I won’t let that happen! Never! Drops a sweat began forming on her forehead.
“It seems they were caught in the explosion just as they were leaving…” She heard McCain say. “…They have a 32.542315% increase in surviving if I assist.”
“I’ll need all the help I can get, Alec.”
Meanwhile
Daisy had a twisting feeling inside her stomach. She hoped that Abbey and Paulo and David made it out safely. After searching through all parts of the cruise ship, she and Tess had given up on searching for the fugitive, though they didn’t say it. She momentarily forgot about Abbey when she thought she saw a familiar face among the crowd. That looked like… No, it couldn’t be. She thought as she stood up from her chair and tried to look in the crowd.
I’m probably just seeing things. She told herself. That’s when she bumped into someone.
“oof! Sorry about tha-” She stopped, her mouth hung open as she stared at the girl who looked back at her with the same shock.
“Kizuna!?”
“Daisy!?”
For a moment, they stood there in complete shock and disbelief as they looked at each other. Then, Kizuna shoved Daisy to the side and ran past her. Another moment of shock, then –
“Hey! Stop right there!” Daisy yelled as she pulled out her pistol, but Kizuna had already moved out of sight. “Damn!” She cursed as broke into a run, she tapped her transmitter. “Tess, I found the fugitive and you’re going to believe who she is. It’s Kizuna!”
“What?” Tess’ voice sounded in disbelief. “You’ve got to be pulling my tail here!”
“It’s her! She’s on the Starboard side of the ship. Help me catch her before she escapes!”
That’s when Daisy noticed one of the doors ajar when a crash was heard. If I know Kizuna, that crash was probably her!
“Oh my god!” Tess said. “That was her! She just ran by me and fell down some stairs!”
“Don’t let her out of sight!” Daisy said as she ran inside.

“Are you alright?” Augustus asked as Mike slowly got up with a grunt.
“Yeah, yeah… I think I’m okay.” The Korat answered.
“Took you long enough.” Lucy spat at the Siamese.
Augustus didn’t look at either of them but at the kid that lay on the floor.
“Nathaniel Mucro…” He muttered.
“Huh?” Mike said.
“This here, on the ground is Nathaniel Mucro, a person who will be known in future history for he created Nerve Rice.”
“What is Nerve Rice?”
“It replaced smoking and drugs for how deadly and addicting it was. A single grain releases a chemical that gives you a near uncontrollable urge to consume it, once the grain comes into contact with the stomach acids, the rest of the chemicals activate, causing gruesome damage to the intestines and leading to slow, unbelievable painful death to the person.”
Mike and Lucy stood, frozen.
“One grain does that?” He said, his voice quiet.
“Of course not, but usually its eaten in large bowls and the consumer will only want more and more.”
“Yikes, no wonder it’s more deadly…” Lucy said.
“Hold on! I thought you said everything was perfect here!” Mike said.
“I didn’t.” Augustus answered. “I said this was a golden age but remember how I said it was all going to end soon.”
“Yeah?”
Augustus pointed down at the unconscious Nathaniel.
“This is the cause.”

I have only two problems.
The Nazi camps killed more Christians than Jews.
Why did the dealer have to interfere with the tanks? The answer is that he did not. They could have easily each gotten in a tank and blown everyone else and all the other tanks to bits with a surprise volley of explosive shots. If the dealer had some other reason for disabling the tanks, they are still stupid for having the biggest weapons right next to them and running for the laser guns.

@Magical
Um… it wasn’t the Dealer who broke the tanks, it was the Elusionary. A lot of people have been getting them mixed up and I don’t know why but… *shrugs* what can you do about it? Also, I didn’t know that the camps killed more Christians than jews but I don’t see how that’s a problem.in the story. And the main characters couldn’t run to the tanks because all the germans had there attention on them.
Comment ID #120244
@magical, I don’t see how the number of deaths matered in any way. The target of the camps was the Jews under Nazi power and out of any ethnic group they had the highest death toll. If you look at high end numbers for the deaths of Gentiles than it is true that combined there are more of deaths for them than Jews

“are you a jew or religious in something that isn’t christian?” agustes asked.
page three.
and the guards where currently distracted by the tanks.
it’s a small error.
Comment ID #120528
Ok, regardless of who died more I only meant that they were not safe as christians.
Comment ID #120664
Huh… Yeah that is a minor flaw… but, I think its safe to say it hasn’t affected the story in any negative way, and who knows? Maybe Augustus is more sketchy about past history than future.

on another note,
doctor who is a time traveler who’s race was destroyed in a war. his race had technology advanced enough to interupt the time travel machines and he carries a small device called a sonic screwdriver that could totaly cause tanks to break down and could oblterate somone but he only uses it on stun. He also takes people, usually one female, on adventures through time. T.orch W.ooD. (T W D) is a organization that uses small devices strapped to their wrist for comunication and timetravle. They wish too catch the doctor.
I am sorry if i stole your thunder.

“We’a could’a chok’a them’a” Rico suggested.
“Strangle them? No, then they’ll have our finger prints.”
“We’ve got to do something soon, otherwise the police will be on us.” The kid said.
Mike looked around, his pistol was across the room behind the kid but as long as Rico was holding him, there’s no way he would be able to escape. I’ve got to figure a way out of this…
No one had their attention on Lucy as she stirred, her thoughts now straightened out. She placed a shaky hand on the side of her head that got hit and found blood on it. She looked and noticed the hybrid thinking of what to do with Mike, that’s when she noticed the dog wasn’t grasping her anymore, no one was. She looked and quickly saw her and Mike’s pistol. If she can just get past that kid…
Although her head was under a lot of pain, her thoughts were suddenly clear and she ignored the pain. The kid reacted too late to the Khao Manee jumping up and charging at him with a closed fist. One good punch did the trick. The kid spun from the blow and fell face first to the concrete ground. The hybrid turned and jumped back from Lucy in surprise as she grabbed her pistol. Mike stared at Lucy as she quickly set her pistol to Power Level 2 and aimed it at the Hybrid, who raised his hands in the air.
“Rico! Do something!” He yelled in a panicked tone.
Rico threw Mike off to the side, sending him crashing into some crates. But at the moment he threw Mike away, Lucy sneered and fired at Rico. The blue bolt sped and smashed into the dog’s chest, instantly knocking him out. Rico slid back from the blow and landed hard on the ground, leaving the Hybrid staring at him, his jaw dropped.
“B-but he was taking Nerve Rice… And that wasn’t a bullet of any- WHAT KIND OF PISTOL IS THAT!!?”
“Something new that the police obviously obtained.” The kid said as he got up, his nervous demeanor now gone. “You’re useless Hybrid, next time I’m finding a decoy that can actually defend himself.”
“Y-yes sir.” The hybrid said.
Lucy looked at the kid, confusion on her face. “You’re the one that’s actually in charge?”
“Correct. But now that you know…” The kid reached behind him and pulled out a pistol, aiming it at Mike. “Drop it, Khao Manee, or I shoot.”
Mike and Lucy stood where they were, frozen to the spot, not sure what to do.
“Hurry up, Khao Manee…” The kid said, shaking his pistol.
Lucy’s eyes darted to Mike, then back at the kid. If she tried to move, he’d pull the trigger, if she dropped her weapon, he might kill Mike anyways and then kill her.
“Guys, what’s going on in there!?” Sue’s voice rang in their ears. “If you don’t move now, the Elusionary will escape!” As if that helped matters. Agh! Damnit, I don’t have much of a choice… Lucy loosened her grip on the pistol when a blue bolt screamed past her and hit the kid.
“Sir!” The Hybrid yelled as another blue bolt came and hit him. Lucy and Mike stared in shock at the three men that lay unconscious around them. Mike darted his head to the entrance of the door and saw Augustus standing there.
“I’m back.” He said.
