Mmmm… Not a whole lot to say really. The writing is solid, the characters are actually characterised correctly by the looks of it. Am very interested to see where this goes.
One thing worth noting though, is that it’s much easier to read when you double space between each new paragraph and new line.
Example:
—==This==—
“How the heck do you do that Lily!!?” Yashy yelled out when she lost to Lily in a game of Uno. Again.
“I guess I’m just lucky.” The hedgehog answered, smiling.
“Grrrr… You won the last 55 games, how can you be ‘lucky’ on all of them!?”
Lucy tried to tune out the noise as she focused on her homework. But, as hard as she tried, she couldn’t concentrate. Finally, after a sigh of frustration, the Khao Manee closed her textbook. Lily looked up at hearing the sound of closing book.
“Done your homework Lucy?” She asked.

Hahahah, I really like this so far. Lucy is so depressingly bipolar. *punched*
I enjoyed the Uno cards joke :O interested!! Maverik kind of beat me in what I was gonna say regarding the writing style, too. Just listen to him!

[Okay, a few things to note with this new post:
1. This too, is also a short post, I’m lucky to able to post at all
2. Now this is different take on the latest date for Paulo, but this is an alternate BCB story so no problems there, I just thought I should let you all know.
3. Thank you Maverik for the tip, I’m not sure if I’ve exactly quite got it yet, so if I’ve made any mistakes please let me know. I need to get my writing and grammatical skills good enough so any tips and points is appreciated.
Well, let’s get on with the story]
Paulo smiled his macho smile with his arm around his date, Jasmine, who was texting on her phone.
“There we go…” She said, putting her phone away. “I’ve finished talking to my parents. They’re out on their own little date so it’ll be just the two of us.”
Too freaking easy Paulo mused silently.
“Good. I don’t like complications.” He said in his macho tone.
“Neither do I.” His date said, smiling.
The sound of a door slamming behind him startled him somewhat. He turned around and saw, to his horror, Lucy standing out in front of her door and she was staring furiously at him.
“PAULO!!!” She cried out.
Oh crap not again
“Who is she?” Jasmine asked in a suspicious tone.
“Um… No one, really. She’s just one of my friends.” The Somali answered, but his machoness had disappeared.
“Really.” She simply said, not buying it at all.
“Jasmine, Lucy and I are not-
But the next thing he knew, he was on the ground, the back of his head under an excruciating amount of pain. He had failed to notice Lucy storming up behind him until she had punched him. Paulo tried to look up, but he was too dazed from the blow he took.
“Well, I think you’ve, um, got some explaining to do to both of us.” He heard Jasmine say in a disappointed tone. “You can think of an excuse to tell me tomorrow. See ya then.”
Paulo managed to catch a look from Jasmine before she walked away, a look of anger and disappointment.
Oh, Damnit! NO!
“W-wait…” He tried to yell, but it turned out to be a murmur.
Paulo tried to stand up, but another blow from Lucy knocked him down.
“Jerkface!” She yelled.
Meanwhile…
Michael walked, and walked. Not focusing on what direction he was going, his mind was far too distracted.
Why, why was she not responding? He kept asking himself. She used to, but now…
The Korat stopped his train of thought when he accidently knocked into another guy who was running.
“oof! Um, sorry about that.” The Korat apologized.
But, before Mike knew it, the man brought his fist on him and knocked him down to the ground. Mike tried to get up but a booted foot on his chest kept him down. He opened his eyes and saw an old looking pistol point right him. Sweat came down on Mike’s forehead as he quickly looked at the person bearing the gun on him. He was a cat dressed like a gunslinger from the old western times. Mike stared at the man who stared angrily at him but his eyes were eyed with fear.
“W-what are you…” The Korat tried to say.
“Yer comin’ with me!” The man yelled in a gravelly voice.
The strange man grabbed Mike by the ear and pulled him up from the ground. Mike didn’t struggle much mainly because he was too shocked and the guy had a gun pointed to him.
“Agh! Why are you-?”
“Shut it! I need a hostage!”
The man shoved Mike, ushering him to move…

I must admit, you’ve piqued my interest with this new chapter. Though I feel increadably bad for poor ol Paulo.

[Another post! Yay! I’m really lucky today]
Yashy, Chirpy and Lily watched through the window as Lucy beat Paulo down. The small Yoshi began laughing as she saw the helpless Somali take hit after hit from the Khao Manee.
“Oh, this is absolutely priceless!” She laughed.
“I think Girl-kitty is being very mean to Meanie-kitty.” Chirpy said with a frown.
“I agree.” Lily said. “Whatever Paulo did to anger her, Lucy-dear is being far too rash.”
“But ya gotta admit, this is so funny!” Yashy said. She stopped when Chirpy glared at her.
“Mommy, how would you feel if Girl-Kitty started beating on you?” The bird asked her foster mother.
“Usually I deserve it.” She simply answered.
“Well it seems that Paulo, judging from the way he’s reacting, doesn’t know why Lucy is hitting him. So imagine yourself in his place, Yashy-dear, how would you feel?” Lily asked in a serious tone. Yashy looked at Lily, then at Lucy beating on Paulo. Her small shoulders drooped.
“Confused. And upset, I guess.” She answered grudgingly.
“I can’t watch this anymore.” Chirpy said grimly. “Mommy, can you open the window? I don’t want to be around here.”
“Eh. Alright.” Yashy answered and switched the lock and, with Lily’s help, opened the window enough to Chirpy to fit through.
“Gonna try and get your mind off of things?” The hedgehog asked. Chirpy nodded. “Alright, don’t go too far.”
Lucy didn’t notice Chirpy fly out behind her as she stared angrily at the quivering Somali. Paulo pulled his hand away from his face and noticed that his nose was bleeding from the blows he took.
“Ahh… Lucy what the hell!? Why’d you beat me to a bloody pulp and wreck my date?”
Lucy grew more infuriated when she heard the word ‘date’ and punched Paulo, sending him to the ground. Again.
“Your date, Huh!?” She yelled. “So that night meant nothing to you!?”
“Night? What night, I don’t know what… Oh wait… you mean that night.”
Lucy merely stared as Paulo slowly got up from the ground.
“Ugh, I really do hate complications.” He complained.
“Don’t change the subject, Jerk!”

Chirpy flew, trying to ignore the sounds below. She couldn’t help but feel sympathy for Paulo.
I need to make Girl-kitty stop being mean to Meanie-kitty She decided. But I can’t stop her myself, I need to find someone. Someone that has known her for a long time, someone that trusts her, someone like…
She looked down and saw two shapes below, one of them the bird knew very well.
“…Boy-kitty!”
Chirpy dived down excitedly.
Boy-kitty will know what to do
But as she came closer, she saw the grey Korat being pushed by another person, pointing something at him.
“Boy-kitty!” She yelled out. “What’s-”
She never finished her sentence when the strange man brought his gun out and fired. Not only did the sound scare Chirpy, but she felt something zoom right by her head. Mike looked up and saw the pink bird scream in terror as the shot barely missed her.
“Chirpy!” He yelled. “Get out of here!”
Terrified, she turned and flew as the strange man fired more shots at her.
The man was so focused on shooting down Chirpy that he didn’t notice Mike bring his fist on him in anger. Mike gave blow after blow after blow to the man but, once the man recovered his balance, Mike realized the guy was fast. Fast enough to strike him in the gut. Mike toppled over from the blow.
“I ain’t got time for this.” He heard the man say. “Now git up!”
Mike grunted as he was pulled up again.
“Why did you shoot at her, she wasn’t-
“I said shut it!”
Meanwhile
“Damnit Lucy, just because we almost did it one night doesn’t mean we’re in a relationship!”
“Of course not you jerk!” Lucy yelled out in answer and was about to punch Paulo again when the shots were heard. The bang bang bang caught both the cats’ and the pets’ (who were watching the fight intently) attention. Lucy and Paulo looked in the general direction of the sound of the shots.
“W-was that a gun being fired?” Paulo asked. Lucy didn’t answer. She then noticed a speck in the distance getting closer and closer. It didn’t take long before the Khao Manee recognized Chirpy flying toward her.
“Girl-kitty!” The bird cried out, tears streaming down her face.
Forgetting about Paulo, Lucy quickly grabbed Chirpy when she landed on her arms, concern on her face.
“Chirpy, what’s wrong? Are you okay?” She asked as Chirpy sobbed in her arms.
“T-there was a man, h-he…”
“He what? What are you-
Lucy stopped when she remembered the gunshots in the distance. Panic spread across her face.
“Were you hit, Chirpy!?” She yelled.
“Mom, what’s going on!? Is Chirps okay?” Lucy heard Yashy ask.
“T-the man…” Chirpy said in between sobs.
“What? What!?” Lucy asked.
“B-boy-kitty’s in trouble!”
Lucy stopped and thought. There were gunshots in the distance, a man who may have been the one to fire the gun, and Mike’s in trouble.
“Chirpy… Go back inside and stay there.” Lucy said quietly but Chirpy heard. The bird nodded and flew through the window.
“Paulo.” She said, catching the Somali’s attention. “Watch over Yashy, Lily and Chirpy, don’t let them leave.”
“Huh? Why? Don’t tell me you’re going to investigate those shots.” He said, he had obviously not heard Chirpy through her sobs.
“Just do it!” She said as she began running.
“Wait! Where are you going!?” She heard him yell from behind her, but she didn’t answer. Only one thing was on her mind.
Mike… Please be okay

Hella Yes!! This is awesome! Another post today! Huzzah!]
Mike tried to struggle, but the man having a firm grasp on him and the cold point of the gun pressed against his back kept from trying really hard to break free.
“Where exactly are we going?” He asked.
The sound of a click made the Korat freeze with fear.
“I swear if ye dun shut up I’ll blast yer fluid all over the strange ground.”
strange? What is with this guy?
Mike stopped his train of thought when he heard the man mumbling.
“Come on… Come on… Git over ‘ere ya demon… I jus’ need ya ta come…”
Mike couldn’t make sense of anything the man was saying.
He’s insane, he’s gotta be…
The Korat’s ears twitched when he heard footsteps, faint, behind him. He didn’t try to look for fear that the man would lose it and shoot him. The footsteps quickly grew louder, and Mike could tell that this person was running towards him and the man. He stopped moving, which angered the man.
“rrr… I said MOVE IT!” And he punched Mike. Hard. The next thing he knew, he was on the ground again. Dazed.
“MIKE!!!”
The Korat jolted up when he heard Lucy’s cry. He turned and saw the man fire his gun blindly at the charging Khao Manee. Mike clenched his hands into fists and charged, anger clear on his face. Punching the man in the back of his head, the blow sent him on his knees, his hat had fallen off, revealing the light brown fur on his face. The man tried getting up but a jump kick from Lucy sent him to the ground. The Korat and the Khao Manee began punching and kicking the man. They beated on him for what seemed like hours but they stopped when a voice suddenly called out.
“That’s enough.”

[Okay, I’ve got so much spare time on my hands and I’m so excited right now, I’m have a SURPRISE POST!!! YAY!]
Mike and Lucy looked over and saw the person who spoke to them. His white-grayish fur matching his piercing eyes.
“Hey…” Mike said. “You were Daisy’s friend, weren’t you?”
Lucy’s right eyebrow moved up a little.
“What do you want?” She asked.
The cat pulled aside his coat, revealing a gun in a holster attached to a belt.
“Stand aside.” He said. “Let me handle with him.”
Mike then noticed a weird electronic device attached to the white cat’s right arm. Mike stood aside as the other passed, not quite sure what to do.
Augustes walked over, his focus on the battered cat that lay before him. The bleeding cat looked up dazed at him. At first sight of Augustes, his eyes went wide.
“Y-you!” He yelled. “Yer the demon!”
Augustes ignored the man’s comment and brought out his futuristic looking pistol.
“In the name of the T.L.P.F.” He declared. “You are under arrest for willingly violating Time Barriers and an attempted Time change. The penalty being death but before I kill you…” He stared straight into the man’s eyes.
“…I have a few questions I want to ask you.”
The man merely stared in horror at the gun that pointed at him.
“First, how did you escape from your time? Who told you it was possible to leave? Who gave you the ability?”
Augustes had asked the questions so fast that the man had no time to answer but stutter. He sighed in impatience.
“Nevermind, I’ll find out myself.” He said.
Mike watched the conversation in total confusion. He had no idea what Augustes was talking about.
“What the hell is going on?” He asked. To no one in particular.
He turned around to face Lucy when he stopped and saw the Khao Manee clutching her right arm, blood pouring out through the cracks in between her fingers and down her arm. The Korat’s eyes went wide.
“Oh my god! Lucy, you’ve been hit!!” He yelled.
Augustes walked over and knelt beside the fallen cat, who lay still in fear. From the device on his arm, he pulled out a small, metallic rod, no longer than his fingers and less than half as wide. He pressed the tip against the cat’s temple, who flinched.
Please don’t go red… He quietly pleaded.
Much to his dismay, a small light glowed red and Augustes growled.
“Damnit…” He cursed and, without another moment. Brought his pistol at the man’s head, and fired.
[What was that about you saying Lucy didn’t get hit, Taeshi? I have to cut this post short, but I’m sure I’ll get another chance!]

[Man, it’s moments like this where I HAVE TO POST!!!]
Lucy shook her head.
“I’ll be fine, Mike… It could have been worse…” She said. But her face was contorted with pain, tears streaming down.
An unfamiliar sound caught the Korat’s attention, a sound of some kind of energy suddenly bursting. Mike turned and saw a light envelope the man as he screamed. The light covered his entire body, then dissapated. The light and the man were gone, in less than a second. Despite the excruciating pain in her arm, Lucy stared wide-eyed at the sight she had seen. Mike stood speechless.
“D-did you kill him?” He said, his voice small.
“Yes, I had too, he would’ve caused too much damage if I let him go.” Augustes answered. He turned and stared at Lucy, then at Mike.
“In fact, he already has caused damage, damage that must be repaired immediately.” He said as he walked over to the Khao Manee but Mike stepped in front of Augustes, blocking him from Lucy.
“What do you plan on doing?” He asked in stern tone.
“I plan on helping her.” Augustes answered. “Now move.”
Mike, not able to find another way, stood aside. Augustes knelt beside the Khao Manee, who lay clutching her arm. He pulled out a small rod similar to the one he used before, but this had 2 gold rings around it, one on each end.
“Now, I want you to pull your hand away from your wound.” He said.
“To hell with you!” She said, her teeth gritted together in pain.
“You were never meant to get that wound, I must remove it before it does any more damage. So if you want to make things easier for yourself, I suggest you do as I say.”
Lucy looked at Augustes, who’s piercing eyes stared back. Slowly, reluctantly, she pulled her hand away from her arm, revealing the wound. Mike flinched when he saw it, a bullet had gone straight in Lucy’s arm. But the wound seemed… unneat, like the bullet that struck her was crudely made.
“This will hurt, but it’ll be quick.” Augustes said. Then, he jabbed the rod in Lucy’s arm. The Khao Manee screamed as Augustes drove the rod in deeper. Mike took a step forward, his fists clenched.
How can driving something in a bullet wound like that possibly help!?
But Mike noticed, to his amazement and ever growing confusion, the wound surrounding the rod was receding, even the blood that lay around her fur began moving back into the closing wound. When it closed around the rod, Augustes pulled it out. Mike stared, the wound and blood was completely gone! Her arm looked perfect, like it had never been hit in the first place. The only evidence that she had been hit was the blood that remained on the rod. Lucy clutched her arm, panting at the immense pain she had just underwent.
“There.” He said. “Your wound is completely h-”
He was interrupted when he felt a fist strike him in the gut. Lucy then spun around, kicking him in the face, sending him reeling.
“Bastard!” She yelled, cracking her knuckles. “That hurt!”
“Lucy!” Mike yelled. “He fixed your arm, I don’t know how but he did.”
The white cat got up with a groan, the blows he took really hurt.
“This is the thanks I get…” He said grudgingly.
“Alright, not that I’m not grateful for what you’ve done but… tell me what the hell was that all about!?” Mike yelled out.

[We are nearing the end… not the end of the story, just Chapter 1]
Augustus stared at Mike, his expression emotionless.
“That man was a criminal, and I stopped him causing any serious damage.”
“B-but what was with the whole “time” thing?”
“That man, knowingly and willingly, broke a law that is higher than anything you can imagine. But forget about that man, he’s dead and I fixed up your friend’s injury, now forget about what happened today and go about with your lives!” Augustus’ voice broke into a yell. Without another word, he turned and walked away.
“Hey wait!” Mike called out. “We’re not done here!”
Augustus stopped and lifted his arm with the device on it. He tapped in a few keys on it, a small humming began sounding from it, and it grew louder quickly.
“Yes. We are.” He replied. A blue light surrounded Augustus, similar to what happened to the man before, except he didn’t seem in pain. Suddenly the light broke apart into millions of sparks that landed on the ground and disappeared. Mike and Lucy stared at eh spot where Augustus once stood.
“What. The. Hell?” The Korat cursed in confusion. “This must be a dream of some kind…”
“It’s not.” Lucy said.
Mike looked at the Khao Manee, who stared back. For a while, they stood looking at each other, not sure what to do. They both looked away, blushing slightly.
“Listen… um, Lucy… thanks.” Mike soon said. “I probably wouldn’t be around if you hadn’t come.”
Lucy turned around but found herself unable to meet Mike’s eyes.
“Y-you’re welcome.” She said.
“I, um, also would like to say sorry.”
Lucy felt her heart skip a beat, she looked up, her mouth open to say something but no words came.
“I… I overreacted and I’m sorry. I know I can’t love you the way you love me but um… can’t we at least try to be friends again? Like we used to be?”
Lucy stared, tears were forming in her eyes. Unable to say anything, she nodded.
“I… I would like that too.” She managed to say. Mike smiled at Lucy. His ears perked up when he head a faint, distant sound that was quickly becoming louder. Mike looked over his shoulder, the direction the sound was coming from.
“Do you hear that?” He asked.
“Hear what?” Lucy asked.
“I guess someone heard the gunshots and called 911, I hear sirens coming this way. We’d better get out of here before we become suspects.”
Lucy nodded in answer. Both cats turned and ran in their opposite directions. After a running a while, Lucy stopped and turned around to look at the Korat, who had become a small speck. She smiled as tears began rolling down her face. She continued on her way home when she heard the sirens get closer.
Despite the numerous questions Paulo and her pets asked, Lucy gave no answer. She didn’t think telling them what happened was a good idea, at least, not yet. But, late at night, Lucy lay in bed awake, thinking about what happened. Things just didn’t make any sense, the man being vaporized, that other cat jabbing something in her injured arm and it somehow healed completely, the same cat just vanishing into thin air… They just didn’t make any sense. But soon, sleep overtook the Khao Manee and she soon closed her eyes.
[I have the distinct feeling MikexLucy fans will like, if not love, this post. This is the end for Chapter 1, next post will be the start for the next chapter: the T.L.P.F.]

Chapter 2: The T.L.P.F.
The bell rang, signaling everyone to head to their morning classes. Mike flinched at the sound, why the bell had to be so loud, he’ll never know. He stopped when he noticed Lucy standing in front of him. He saw her looking passed the Korat, then back at him. Mike turned around and saw who she was looking at. Tess, Daisy, Abbey, Paulo, and Sue.
“Should we tell them about what happened?” Lucy asked.
“Why should we tell them?” He replied with another question.
“Look, I don’t know about you Mike but what happened yesterday just wasn’t… right.”
“I agree with you there but that doesn’t answer my question.”
“Mike, we should tell at least tell them what those gunshots were about.”
“What makes you think they heard the shots?”
Lucy stared at the Korat.
“Everyone heard the shots Mike, and Paulo knows I went off because of the shots. I just know he’s told everyone else about that I ran off to see what they were about. We have to tell them. Besides, how often does someone get kidnapped by a guy with a gun?” She teased.
“Hey, I wasn’t kidnapped I-”
The bell rang again, giving the 30 second warning. Without another word, Mike and Lucy ran off to their classes. As Mike ran off, he bumped into another person. He was about to apologize when he saw who it was he bumped into. Augustus stared at the Korat.
“You should really watch where your going.” He said to the stunned Mike. “You never know what you will run into.”
Augustus walked away, his moves calm and deliberate. Mike stood where he was for a moment, he didn’t see a gun in a holster, nor did he see any electric device on his arm. Mike stared suspiciously for another moment, then ran off to class.

Time Cops
Ch. 1 Unexpected Rescue
Michael clicked off his phone when he heard the voice message sound. The same message he had been hearing for the past few days. he sighed, half disappointment, half frustration.
“Damnit…” He cursed.
It had been close to 2 weeks that he tried to call Sandy, to no avail. At first, whenever he called, she would answer, but now there was none at all.
Has Sandy become too busy to answer? He questioned. No, she would’ve had some time to talk so why is she… Mike sighed again. This was stressing him out more so than it should. The Korat walked down to the living room of his house where Blur sat checking through his Uno cards. The blue bird looked up at Mike.
“Hey Mike, do you know what happened to all the crazy 8 cards? They seem to be missing from my deck.”
“Uh, no actually I haven’t.”
“I have the distinct feeling Yashy took ‘em.” Blur said in a suspicious tone.
“Um, listen Blur, I’m gonna be walking outside for a while Blur.”
“Why? Are you being all emo again?”
Mike growled a little at that remark, and left without another word.
Meanwhile…
“No.” She answered. “I can’t really concentrate with all the noise you and Yashy are making.”
“Oh, really? If you want we can be quiet.”
“No, it’s fine Lily, I need a break anyways.”
Lucy walked over to the window and stood there looking out of it.
“Are you okay, Girl-kitty?” She heard Chirpy ask from behind her.
“Yeah, I’m fine, Chirpy. Don’t worry.” She answered in a soft tone.
Lucy heard Chirpy fly over and sit on the sill to her right, a look of concern in her eyes.
“You don’t look happy, did something happen?”
The memory quickly passed through her mind. Lucy let her eyes drift to the window sadly.
“Yes…” She said. “…something did happen. But…” Her eyebrows suddenly went up and her previously sad filled eyes now showed surprise. “…it…” Then her surprise quickly turned into anger. “…doesn’t concern you.” She said in a growl.
Before Chirpy could ask what was wrong this time, Lucy turned and stormed off.
“I’ll be back in a while.” She said angrily, stepping past Lily and Yashy and slamming the door behind her.
The yoshi and hedgehog watched the door in confusion.
“What was that all about?” Yashy asked.
“I’m not sure…” Lily answered, she quickly looked to Chirpy.
“What happened?” She asked.
“I don’t know. Girl-kitty was sad and then she looked out the window and now she’s mad.”
“Did Mom see something?” Yashy asked.
The bird looked out the window.
“There’s nothing really out there except the houses, the trees, there’s a few birds, oh and Meanie-kitty is out there with someone else.”
“Paulo?” Lily said, confused.
Yashy giggled.
“Heh, wonder what he did to tick off Mommy?”
