I wouldn’t say being rich removes the want for money, if anything it proves you have that wish.

Save the “doesn’t belong” part, you’re right. If the motive is money, Abram is high on my list of suspects. However, I don’t think the motive is money since it keeps getting left behind. If the killer wanted it, they’d pick it up.

Maybe he is trying to show us that money doesn’t make us more than human, or that we aren’t better than him for having it.
Comment ID #40006
But it was hidden both times.
Comment ID #40007
and not much of it either, if he had credit card i would expect Karl to have something to keep it in, but i didn’t see his wallet anywhere nearby.

(Brb, gonna be gone for a few minutes, Mitchell wil be thinking and following Sadae, if she decides to move.)

But what if the money is a sign?

/Shaking her head, the orange tabby ducks into her tent. She looks to her rifle, the Weatherby Vanguard, for once with a look of disgust on her face.
Why did I even bring that with me? I never wanted to use it, anyway. I hope nothing more happens…
She starts, a look of apprehension passing by her face.
I don’t want anyone else to die! The murderer must be found quickly.
She pulls herself out again, and makes for the group. Staying separated won’t be any help./
Comment ID #40019
What if the money was left by the victims trying to tell us something?! It could mean the killer had money or they are after money or… I don’t know just something!
Comment ID #40020
The money is definately a sign— just not the motive.

*Notices Amarilla coming out of her tent with an odd look* Something up Amarilla? You look upset or something.
Comment ID #40027
/Amarilla notices Paolo speaking to her. Sighing, she goes over and tries to explain by pointing at the guns and the dead people./
Comment ID #40029
I think she is upset dear.*Tries to be helpful* I can understand why…
Comment ID #40031
*He raises an eyebrow questioningly* What about the guns? They weren’t shot, you know that.
Comment ID #40035
But if you haven’t noticed, quite a few people are carrying them around for protection. All it takes is some jumpy nerves and trigger happy fool for someone to end up dead. *Sigh heavily and looks down.* Trust me on this.
Comment ID #40036
“You need some kind of notepad so you can write down what you’re trying to say.” Jenny says as she notices the orange tabby’s motions.
Comment ID #40038
/The tabby shakes her head. Surely he understands that she is referring to the killings, not to the guns themselves?/
Comment ID #40040
/Turning to Jennifer, Amarilla nods almost imperceptibly. She smiles, but attempts to indicate that she doesn’t have either…/
Comment ID #40044
*Digs around in backpack* Ah ha! I knew I had some in here!! *Hands Amarilla a pad of paper and a pen.* Why didn’t I think of this before!!

Raquel just face palms at Paolo’s antics.. seeming to have gotten long past the point where she found them amusing “…he really -is- an idiot isn’t he?” she sighs joining the conversation about the killers motivation with a simple “His motivation is he’s out of his mind…..”
Comment ID #40049
*happily accepts the pad and pen*
Comment ID #40052
Is he really Raquel? Maybe he just wants revenge.
You’re welcome Amarilla.
Comment ID #40055
(To Sadae) I’m going ou for a while, so just stay here, okay?

*Nods*
Tashe share, Mishell.
Comment ID #40060
“….. right… ‘cause someone sane did -that- to Kaydee…..stuffed a cloth in her mouth so he could leave her alive until….” Raquel twitches at the thought taking a breath to calm herself “….do I really need to explain why?”
Comment ID #40063
People out for revenge might be sick, twisted people, but that doesn’t mean they’re crazy. Only that they are mad and willing to cause pain.
Comment ID #40066
*Goes and joins the conversation, and sees Amarilla writing something down on a notepad.*
…What is it?
Comment ID #40071
/Amarilla shudders as the argument progresses. She starts scribbling furiously, and after 10 seconds she holds up the pad. On it, in large letters, are the words:
“CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE?”/
(Let’s pretend that was it, Mitchell. ^_^)
Comment ID #40072
Okay…*He stares around the campsite* What do you want to talk about then?
Comment ID #40075
“… well a sick fuck like that is crazy as far as I’m concerned!…. He…while she was still… that isn’t…” Raquel’s speech starting to break up lightly as she puts too much thought into this, imagining the last moments of another girl dog….that might be much like her own soon enough.
(Ehn Semi-ninja’d. Just assume this comes before the notepad sign)

Well the weather is lovely today!
Comment ID #40078
*Puts his hand on Katherine’s shoulder and whispers*
Honey can I talk to you alone for a moment?
Comment ID #40079
/Once again, Amarilla turns to the notepad. She holds it up so that the others may read:
“KITTENS”/
(Disregard that. Please. ^_^)
/Once again, Amarilla turns to the notepad. She holds it up so that the others may read:
“We know the killer is mad. Can we please try to find which one of us it is?”
She smiles at Paolo, hoping he will understand./

(Disregard, waaay ninja’d)

*Begins to laugh* Really? The weather? That’s all we can think of to talk about? We’ve got some of the richest people in the world here, there’s got to be more then just the weather!

*Follows Zeke* What is it dear?
Comment ID #40085
(My “disregard” referred to the cliché “weather” line.)

How is everyone doing with this crazy economy?
Comment ID #40090
I think I know who did it, but if I reveal it I’m probably putting us all in danger, I don’t have enough proof to convince everyone, and they’ll get away with it. I’ve kept something hidden in the forest that could help us, what I need you to do is keep everyone calm and keep them from noticing I’m gone if you can. Can you do that for me?
Comment ID #40091
Hahaha, oh the poor dog girl. Her partial freak out overlooked by those around her she just slumps on down a few steps away from the others hands still digging through her own fur as her face is hidden behind her hair like ears not really coming up with any topics of her own for a good few minutes… finally looking up with a deep sniff and a weak smile.
“… just fine.. just fine….more then enough to pay the bills you know?”
Comment ID #40093
*Nods slowly*Yes… But dear what is it that you had to hide in the forest?
Comment ID #40095
Just wait and see *winks* It’s not something i need to keep hidden, but it’s something that can be useful in emergencies.
*Looks around and runs off into the woods*
Comment ID #40097
As Zeke runs into the forest, Katherine doesn’t bother to consider following, even though she knows the lay of the land and can navigate the area, of all the people in the business only her husband can find every nook, cranny and hiding space. She would never be able to keep up with him if he really wanted to be alone for this.
Comment ID #40098
*Sighs heavily and turns back to the group* So what are we talking about again? *Smiles as best as she can considering the situation.
Comment ID #40101
*holds up sign once again*
(By the way, I’ll have to go to bed now. Amarilla is on autoplay, so do with her as you like.
Have some decency, though. There are limits. ^_^)
