A week before summer ends here

Heh. Summer over here is exactly the same as winter, spring and fall. That is, it’s rainy interspersed with sun a few days every other month. Only difference is that summer is slightly hotter, and there are more mosquitoes. ^_^

Summer in the British Isles: rain, with chance of more rain. The odd sunny day, followed by three weeks of heavy rain. Pretty much like any season here mate.

But we will endure it without complaint, for that is the British way. Stiff upper lip and all that, old boy.

That said, it hasn’t been raining for a while over here. It’s quite worrisome, really - you’d expect the sun to come out only to give us the odd rainbow for a few minutes. ^_^

ahaha… it’s summer alright in Texas, in a few weeks it’s going to be suicide to go outside.

So close… SO CLOSE!!

I had three. But they were over several weeks ago. ^_^

Finals for me are Friday, Monday, and Tuesday; the last three days of school.

I’m in courses right now so I can graduate college by the end of the summer.

Sure mate. Just like the Bulmers ad, we’ll moan when it’s sunny, complain when it rains, but it’s glorious and ours. Ah Bulmers…

I finished mine. The State exams are on now, but I don’t have ‘em till next year.

I live in northern California, specifically the Central Valley. So we get plenty of sun and still retain enjoyably moderate temperatures. Plus we have plenty of nearby greenery where I live.

Also, I got off school about a month ago.

I work, so sadly summer means only that it will be too warm inside my place of business.

Though fortunately it has been raining all week.
