The storyline will develop as the game progresses (Though really… the players make most of the story), but still I will leave you with the general idea.

The kingdom of Caignwell is in danger. Several adventurers will embark on a journey to stop the evil wizard Reinhild.

The characters:

Mike – Lord Makar
Though he is not the best knight, he is famous for being the bravest of the kingdom. Having become a knight, he set out on a quest to obtain the legendary sword of light, during which he met Lady Lieselotte. Accomplishing that turned him instantly into a legendary hero, which has won him many favors with the king himself. He is fond of Princess Sunday. Even though he has earned quite a high status, he is a very charismatic and humble cat.

Lucy – Lady Lieselotte
Being a direct descendant of the royal family of vampires, she enjoys some special qualities that common vampires don’t, such as being unharmed by sunlight. She has been alive for a few centuries now, and she was never accepted into society because of who she was, and was often labeled a witch. Despite that, she has learned to coexist with people, and only destroys those that intend to harm her with her own powerful hands. She has had feelings for Lord Makar since she met him, as he was the first person to be nice to her in her lifetime.

Daisy – Delilah
She became a dancer at a very young age, and since then she has entertained the masses in the town square. Her dances however, are magically enchanted, which gives protection from lesser evils, and inspires happiness into the people that see her. Being a dancer, however, has drawn a lot of attention towards her, so her proficiency with whips has helped her get out of many dangerous situations. She used to dream of marrying the legendary Lord Makar, but she has liked Albert ever since he saved her from Agamemnon.

Abbey – Albert
Abandoned by his father when he was young, he has been making a living working as a mercenary. Even though his job sometimes requires him to do dirty jobs, he always rejects them, as he has a strong sense of justice, and is very chivalrous. The only reason he isn’t a knight is because he never could get appropriate training with sword, but even then, his self taught skills have sufficed. He met Delilah some time ago when he rescued her from Agamemnon, as he noticed she was being assaulted by him.

Paulo – Plinius
Of all archers in the kingdom, he is renowned for being the one with the best accuracy, and has won many archery contests in the past. He is very popular with the girls around town, and he is very fond of girls as well, though he has some feelings for Theresa. He is very charismatic, but at the same time, he thinks too much of himself. Dave is his best friend.

David – Dave
Even though he doesn’t look very menacing, Dave could be compared to a barbarian. He is very impulsive and likes to break stuff with his axe, but he really is a good guy. Gets along very well with Plinius.

Sue – Susanna
Susanna is an avid reader, and was always interested in works of fiction and drama. She became a writer a few years ago, making good use of her strong imagination, which developed over so many years of reading. Her slight knowledge of black magic allows her to materialize the characters of her own creation for a short time.

Amaya – Amy
This Tabby has been mute since birth. People said it was the result of a witch’s curse, however, in reality it was just a birth defect. She didn’t let this handicap affect her, and found a job as a mime, which will allow her to communicate without the need to talk. During one of her performances, she discovered that she had psychokinetic powers, which she used to enhance her performances.

Sandy – Princess Sunday
Daughter of the King of Caignwell. She is well trained in the arts of white magic, and has been fond of Lord Makar ever since he made his grand appearance. She often sneaks out of the castle to meet with him, but has very bad timing and always does when he is out in an adventure.

Augustus – Agamemnon
A calm mage, trained in the arts of black magic. He can remain composed even when confronted with adversity, which allows him to cast his spells without distraction. Agamemnon usually causes trouble around town, and tried to assault Delilah in one occasion, and would have gotten away with it had Albert not intervened. He decided to join the party to help defeat the evil wizard Reinhild, because he wants to become the strongest black mage there is.

Tess – Theresa
Theresa is a mischievous girl that used to get in trouble pretty often. She is hated by almost everyone who knows her, but being a Rogue, she is not known by many people. She has tried to change her ways and use her acquired abilities for good. Since then, new people that met her have liked her a lot, as she is quite charismatic. She carries some knives and a short bow. She is in love with Plinius, but won’t admit it.

Carter – Carter
An unknown fellow that appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the town square one day. No one knows why or how he came, though he had with him a weird container labeled “Time masheen”. He is fond of Lady Lieselotte due to her resemblance to a girl he knows, and usually calls her “Lucy”. Due to his awkward attitude, it wasn’t long until he became a jester.

McCain – McCardell
His detached and logical personality allowed him to pick a job as an assassin. He remains in the shadows most of the time, trying to be inconspicuous. He would not harm anybody outside of a job, and avoids getting third person’s involved when killing someone. He is armed with a set of concealed knives, and a crossbow.

You may now post here and pick a character, and draw a card if you wish.

The game will start after Murder Mistery Game 4 ends.

I also suggest you read this:

Icarus is shy and clingy, but also a person with a big heart. He has always had a strong sense of justice, which led him to become a Paladin. Although he is a very logical thinker, he has just started learning to think in shades of gray. He carries a heavy armor around, but his strength and agility allows him to move relatively fast. Icarus is willing to overcome his shyness whenever someone really needs him, which makes him very reliable. He is armed with the unique Fleetblade and a cross shield.

My application, character name is in use.

You’re a bit early with the fan character, it cannot be accepted yet, as there are no main characters being played yet, but once a main character is picked, you will be taken into account immediately.

I’m considering an original character for this, and would like to physically describe him, but I need to know, are we doing this anthro like in BCB, or is it BCB cast as real people?

MiwAuturu June 13, 2010, 2:17 PM EST.

Comment ID #43301

Sean is calm and caring. Profficient in white magic with a wee bit of black magic. Armed with a shield and the Sol Blade (Golden Sun 2), but it’s powerful attack “Meggido” can only be used once. Carries a knife as a back up weapon and a long bow for ranged attacks. Became a Rogue and traveled with his love, Luna, bringing swift justice for those that needed a hand. Has a personal vendetta against Reinhild after he kidnapped Luna.

Mmmm bout time I get into one of these things, I’ll be McCain then, espicially since I have work, I can blend into shadows easier when I’m not around and it’ll be normal.

AND… HIT ME.

I’ll be Delilah. It’ll be… delightful. ^_^

ILB June 13, 2010, 6:35 PM EST.

Comment ID #43367

I should probably describe why Fleetblade is unique:

Normally, it’s an ordinary sword with light energy imbued in it, but when Icarus manages to tap in to his inner sense of true justice, it glows like it does in the picture. This is incredibly rare, and is generally not a conscious decision. This doubles his speed, increasing his striking force (increasing damage to all enemies) along with his movement. This also squares the damage modifier against dark or evil creatures.

Sir Icarus June 13, 2010, 7:48 PM EST.

Comment ID #43370

Well right now if all fan characters are accepted here is a real-to-fan character ratio of 7:3, so I’ll post this now, and will describe the physical when I know the answer to my earlier question.

Fan Character attempt: Name: Herald Cheifsson

The “prince” of one of the roaming tribes from the south, he left them to try and find his place in the world. Used to being in the foreground, now that he has the chance to escape it he will try and stay in the back, although his habits will sometimes get the better of him and he will start trying to lead. He does not discuss his past with anyone.

Weaponry and fighting style: He carries two swords at his waist, one enchanted for fire, and one for ice. He only ever uses one of these at a time, and will sometimes switch them mid-fight, but sheathes the other when he does. He is also decently proficiant at hand-to-hand combat, but it is not his specialty.

And I do take a card.
