Umm… perhaps a new thread for the game discussions? Let’s not risk SuitCase goign Hulk and deleting everything ^^;

We do have a designated thread for this purpose. So yes, I agree, let us move eventual further discussion to there. ^_^

We’re not off-topic, we’re discussing legitimate advertising strategies. That was the point of the button. You put that game up and you’ve got a viral, right? Maybe we should discuss viral advertising.

True enough, but I kinda meant details of what the game would be, rather than the distribution/advertising part of it… my bad for not putting it right, sorry.
But yeah, I foresee… maybe a free game, on Steam? That way people play it, (hopefully) go “hmm, that was amusing” and come here. Plus with it being on Steam you can get achievements and stuff, and friends list gets it out to even more people.

Yeah, but the button was a detail of advertising specifically. That’s how it got in there.
Okay. See, I didn’t know that. As far as I knew, Newgrounds was as far as free gaming would go. I dunno. I will put a metaphorical black box over that area and let you games take care of that.

Nope, Steam can do free games too… America’s Army 3 <3
If a game WAS made, Steam would be advantageous - you can see how many people are actually playing it, easily update the game if there’s bugs… it’s a game dev paradise.
Being an indie developer (or at least, to be… almst there on my own engine), I already have a Steamworks account, which actually puts us in a good position, if a game was made.

ILB coming round neighbourhoods, smiling and hugging people, and gently threatening to smother them in love if they don’t read BCB.

Maybe you could make a dating sim (like the one in the ad) to advertise?

What - a button to take you to the comic? Easily done my friend. Easily done. But still - I won’t bother unless I get explicitly asked to… who knows, SuitCase is most likely hiding one from us.
HE COULD BE PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW AND WE’D NEVER KNOW
