((Oh, whoops, that’s the problem when you gotta do work mid-post ))

*He hears the alarm but ignores it, his top priority to stabilize the power core before serious damage occurs to a vital part of the ship* This damage is severe…What the hell happened here? I gotta get Molly back online and this is the first step in doing that. *He analyzes the damage with his glasses* I’m going to need to do some work on the core itself, but it’s risky. Damn it, the readings were perfect yesterday, how did this happen, and where is Jimmy with my tools!?

((It’s cool, most of my mistakes have been due to work in between.))

*with one last spark the elevator starts dropping downwards*

“That is not exactly how i wanted to move down”he says to himself in a worried tone

*the panel sparks again and the elevator stops abrubtly,knocking Aurelius down*

(@Abel: our host said we could control the NPCs by proxy if we wanted to, so you can have him come with your tools

@Aurelius, I believe we have pryed the door open for you now)

(@Abel: I thought you slipped on your glasses a long time ago? Anyways, E3 time, be back soon!!)

*as he walks out of the elevator the elevator suddenly drops*

*he looks back*

“What?!”he rushes over to the edge to see if the elevator stopped,but it was already gone

“Strange..”He says in a calm voice

*He turns at the loud bang behind him as the elevator crashes into the bottom of the shaft* This place is coming down around us! *He runs over to the shaft, looking down for any movement* Was there anyone in there? Yell if you can hear me!

*Looks shocked at Aurelius’ non-chalance at having been only seconds from death via elevator crash. She points at him, then at the hole where the elevator was before walking off with an incredulous look on her face.* geez this guy reminds me of Davier

(that took forever to write)

*Hears Abel barely*

“What’s that?”he asks himself

“Is anybody down there?”he shouts down the shaft

*Remembers May’s relationship with Davier*

May, I’m sorry to say this, but Davier died…saving all of us…

*He doesn’t hear Aurelius through the sparking of broken equipment* It must have been empty, I can’t waste time like this, I gotta bring Molly back up. *He returns to the Power Core where Jimmy has brought his toolkit and a jumpsuit* Thanks kiddo, stay put I might need you if something goes wrong. *He puts on the jumpsuit, and picks up his tools* I won’t be able to hear Molly when I’m in there if she comes online, lemme know through the intercom alright? This one is two-way between here and the power core, it should be fine I hope, unlike the rest of our communications. *He opens the large titanium doors into the power core, and enters, shutting them firmly behind him*

*hears no response*

“Must’ve been nothing.”turns around

*looks at everyone around him*

“It was nothing.”he said in a blunt voice

*May looks at the doctor, not believing him.* I’ve seen him do the stupidest things and still live, he can’t be dead *She notices the serious face that Mike has, and realizes that he’s not making it up. Tears filling her eyes she whispers so quietly on the doctor could have heard it: “Davier”. Realizing she spoke, she covers her mouth with her hand in shock and runs down the stairs to the second floor and her room*

(OMG! Yes I made May speak, so non-canon of me. )

*at hearing mike he turns to him*

“What the hell happened?”

what could he have to get himself killed..this is the last thing we need,is people dying on OUR space station

Hmph. Great job there, Doctor. First you get somebody killed, then you stomp on an innocent girl’s feelings. I think it’d be better for everyone if you were to just leave…

OH No! Davier is dead.

*Ka looks in shock*

(Assume me to be on Autoplay for now, since I’m much too sleepy and will likely do something even dumber and less thought-through than the metal pipe to thousands of volts wires)

*The Doctor explains Davier’s demise.*

And that’s what happened. The poor fool saved us all…I’m going to head down to help bring back the power and hopefully Molly.

*Noticing the destruction of the elevator, he decides to use the stairs once more.*

*Heads down to the sickbay.*

“Hold on..i can’t let you go down into the lower levels alone…”He says with a serious voice

“it seems you’ve caused enough trouble as it is.”

*Hearing the accusation.*

I only want to save whoever is left alive at this point, but do what you will.

This couldn’t have been an accident, but the technology required…

I’ll go up to the med bay.
*He starts rubbing his head*
I got knocked on my head pretty hard.

*Getting to the second floor, May doesn’t want to be alone, so she decides to head to the medical bay instead of her room, figuring there would at least be staff there. She shows up there, still crying a little.* (Still unaware of what has happened, only that Davier is dead)

*The two arrive behind Engineer Abel.*

We’re here to help. Mind if I have a look at that?

((Man, now EVERYONE’S headed for the med bay.))
*Arriving in the med bay, Sula finds the nearest staff member and questions rather aggresively:*
The captain. Where. Is. My captain.

*The lights throughout the ship begin to dim as Abel works on the power core to the best of his abilities. He is unaware to anything beyond the doors that seal the power core, the only way to communicate with him being the two-way intercom located just beside the doors. He seems determined to do nothing but bring Molly back online as he works away at the core.*

*Alright, calls through the intercom.*

This is Doctor Mike Smith and Aurelius, we’re here to help.

*Being pointed in the right direction, Sula finds her captain lying down on one of the beds, assuring the doctors of his excellent condition and failing to be discharged*
((Gonna go auto, I’ll be in the medbay. Assume I’m talking to Kane and that I don’t want to be around the Doctor. Might be back within minutes or as late as tomorrow.))

(We teleported,lol)

*He looks up from his work and moves to the Intercom* Doctor Mike Smith? Are you the same guy I found snooping around down here yesterday? Jimmy, get that guy out of here, he’s probably the one who did this! *He yells the end of his sentence into the intercom before picking up his tools and getting back to work*

The runt of a dog is presently fooling around with the controls outside of the power core, doing his best to repair things best her can from the outside…looking up as Aurelius and the Doctor arrive. “Huh? one arm wiping away the sweat and black gunk from his brow.

“… Aurelius! Finally! Abel went deep in… I… I’m still trying to get the outer control s-systems to work… um.. I’m.. not getting far with it uh…” His eyes slowly slide towards the unexpected guest as her stares at the doctor “Huh? Who’s the guy in the funny looking suit?”

Jimmy looks back as Abel yells out giving a quick “Wha..? Yes yes sir! You’re going to have to leave Mister!”

Look I can fix this. Do you want Molly back or not? Well?

Ugh… Sula… what is it?

*the captain attempts to sit up in the gurney he’s on.*

*He throws his tools angrily at the ground and stomps over to the intercom* Molly never had any problems before I saw you snooping around down here! She was perfectly functional, and I know YOU DID THIS. How does a station with no problems bigger then a faulty shower head suddenly lose all control of it’s power core, causing the everything to malfunction! Get the hell out off this deck before I come out there and force you off! *He slams the off button on the intercom and picks up his tools again*

The Captain sits up easily enough though he’s still feeling a bit dizzy, bandages now wrapped around his head as Doctor Lock goes about her work, the Sick bay lit up by a number of battery powered lights. I imagine Sula Toss is just happy to see him talking heh.

Around then May and Ka manage to slip on in, seeing the Good Captain Alek alive and well.

Jimmy flinches at the yelling coming from the intercom and then glances at the doctor “…look mister… A-abel has been working on this station since he was .. freaking eight… if he can’t fix this… nobody can. So please… before he really DOES come out her to drag you out.. he will you know! So yeah. Just … leave. PLEASE”

Jimmy finally turns back to the console in front of him doing what work he can trying to get the mainframe itself back up motioning to the android “Give me a hand here Aurelius..”

(Still watching E3, so assume I am lying half-conscious on the gurney. I’ll pop in every now and then, though.)

People’s lives are at stack here. We don’t have time to be bickering over this. Fine, I’m coming in.

(Breaks the door with the crowbar. Ignoring the engineer’s shock, he investigates the server.)

I can save her, but there is no way of knowing how messed up her programing is.

“Alright.”He moves to one of the consoles

“Hmm,from here..i can’t read the generator..”
*he starts tapping a bunch of buttons as if he is just doing it by random*

“there.”

((This is the power core, not the servers, and the doors are huge titanium things meant to keep people out of the core, so a normal crowbar won’t be able to pull them open))

(I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say your magic Crowbar does not grant you access to the sealed off area that Abel is in. Though you can mess around with the consoles Jimmy is at.. just don’t expect it to be approved of)

(Alright) *The Doctor leaves*

Aurelius and Jimmy quickly get to work trying to figure out what the heck is going on here… or at the very least try to get the mainframe back online having no time to deal with this pesky doctor who keeps sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong…who thankfully gives up his constant badgering and leaves.

Inside the power core itself Abel is hard at work as well:forced to bypass various power converters, take countless things apart and re-wire them, and turn parts of the core offline all together because of the sheer scope of the damage. Bit by bit power starts to be sent through the station properly… the lights in the lobby and Sick bay suddenly coming to life.

While Jimmy focus on getting the mainframe back online Aurelius seeks out the -cause- of it… but his face is filled with frustration as he finds nothing. No virus, no tampering that he can see….he does find something odd though. A deleted message for the captain… parts of it still remaining on Molly’s memory banks, Aurelius doing his best to try and restore the file. it looks like it was deleted minutes after arrival…..

[Reaction]+[Green Light] Yeah I know. It’s mostly just fluff RP reactions here but yeah ;p

“This is….strange..”
