Like every other “official” thread here only this time we discuss movies. Movies you like, movies you dislike, new movies, old movies, anything movies!

So yeah, let me start by saying Toy Story 3 is friggin’ awesome. Possibly the best Pixar flick ever. The ending had me bawling. It was just so sad…

Haven’t seen Up but have heard nothing but good things about it from friends. Agreed that Iron Man 2 was weaker than the first. Something about it just didn’t click for me. Also agreed that Kick Ass was kick ass. I have a strong urge to steal the Kick Ass posters from our cinema. They’d look great up my wall.

I liked Iron Man 2 ): I mean for the whole action portion of it, most of the rest of it was meh. Up was a great movie imo :) When you get the chance look up “UPular Remix” in youtube by Pixel. It has a very soothing sound and is composed of sounds from the movie. I don’t remember any of the other movies I went and saw ): it’s been a few months since I’ve been to the theatre.

UP

…That’s it, really. It’s one of the most entertaining films I have ever seen (though in my opinion it is topped/rivalled by several old Disney movies such as number 21, 22, 17, 20, 19, 36 and such).

I will, hopefully, soon be seeing Men Who Stare at Goats. I’m sure there haven’t been films with more entertaining titles since Terence Hill’s heyday. ^_^

Top 3 favorite movies: Sherlock Holmes, UP, Aliens. I enjoy any movie that has a decent plot, and that doesn’t instill the desire to hunt down the creators for such a horrendous job afterwards.

This is like something out of the Bible: we get seven books of good luck (Harry Potter) and then seven books of fucking stupid (Twilight). Twilight has seven parts, doesn’t it? I don’t know. I don’t read it.

Then again, I didn’t read Harry Potter either.

Movies that I saw for last year and this:

District Nine- Loved it
Precious- Depressing, but I couldn’t stop watching.
UP- How could you hate this movie at all?
Death at a Funeral- I only watched it so I could complain about it… but it was okay, I guess.
Toy Story 3- I NOSTALGIA’D AND CRIED
Kick Ass- Kick Ass
Iron Man 2- ehh…..
Paranormal Activity- Didn’t see the big deal was…
Ninja Assassin- Best night of riffing a movie ever
Shutter Island- The guy was crazy… or was he? I’m still debating it
Date Night- I was skeptical about this actually. But it was okay, I guess.
The Hurt Locker- Didn’t deserve the Acadamy Award, un my opinion.
Avatar- Blue people jumping around actually made a good movie. Stop calling it “Dancing with Smurfs”, dammit
Fantastic Mr. Fox- I LOVE STOP MOTION
Coraline- I LOVE STOP MOTION
The Princess and the Frog- Uh… Only thing I really liked was the villain’s song.
Keeping Up with The Jones’- Loved it.
Shrek 4- WHY DID I WATCH THIS!? Oh well. It was better than Sjrek 3 by a long shot.
Nightmare on Elm Street- I knew it would be crap
The Hangover- ROFLCOPTER
17 Again- I still hate you, Effron.
Valentine’s Day- I don’t remember much because it was the worst date I was ever on.
Clash of the Titans- CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAPITY CRAP
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince- I’m a fanboy, so…

Don’t get mad at me that they stole Kevin Costner’s riff.

Or made a furry porn recruitment movie.
