MAKAR DO NOT LEAVE ME BLIND HERE, CALL OUT THE ATTACKERS!
She snarls at him as she turns to where she can hear a bandit and slices her claws through the air at it.

Lily stands beside the princess, with one hand behind her back as she yells back. “Or maybe you should listen to your common sense and get the heck out of here while you still can! Don’t you fools know who you face? This is none other then the legendary Lord Makar, Champion of Caignwell! Wielder of the sword of light, a blade so pure that would it burn through your wicked hands if you were as so much to -touch- it.” She gives a smirk, the paper behind her giving the faintest of glows as fear fills the hearts of the bandits surrounding them “.. now ask yourselves: are you truly being paid enough to face such a man?”
[Yeah. Debuff time for my turn. Fear+A little ‘diplomacy’ to seal the deal. He is suppose to be legendary after all
. Trying to make a good portion of the bandits run. Or at the very least put enough doubt to weaken their swings]

After finishing the bandit he rushed towards Lieselotte, grabbing her hand.
Sorry for keeping you waiting, but we must help Tybold now.
Makar rushed near Tybold and Icarus, guiding Lieselotte with him and preparing to defend them. After hearing Lily and noticing her plan, he readies his sword to attack if her strategy don’t work.

Albert is torn. He knows Delilah is terrified, but he also knows that the mage is a big help. He tries to ease around next to the mage, keeping Delilah close to his back
Stay close Delilah… *he says quietly as he moves up to protect the flank of the mage, keeping himself between Delilah and the bandits, the dancer stumbling along behind him, watching everything happen as if in slow motion*

Have to even the odds.
Grow and ensnare, Briar forest of Darkness!
Massive vines constrict several bandits closet to the group, making them easy pickings for the rest of the group.
Gotta save the rest of my strength for close combat.

He manages to block the fireball coming at Hannibal, and then rushes to protect Lady Lieselotte. When he is questioned as to why he picked the vampire over the mage, his reply is that she is bieng ignored and needs help. He hands her off to Makar when he arrives.

(I already guided Lieselotte near Tybold, Icarus. I’m trying to protect both.)

(I have to go, Dave will go back to the group assuming he kills the bandit he is attacking. If not he will keep fighting said bandit. He will follow Lord Makar’s orders and protecting Delilah.)
Comment ID #48869
Sir Icarus: Succesfully blocks the fireball, saving Hannibal’s life.
Dave: Dave’s swing is a strong one, and swiftly cuts the bandits torso, separating the upper and lower part of his body.
Tybold: The bandits rush forward, completely dodging the spell as it lands behind them. One of them jumps towards Tybold, with the intent to kill.
McCardell: He sits around unjamming the crossbow.
Lieselotte: Her claw accidentally hits a nearby bandit that intended to attack her while she was blinded. The bandit is sent flying backwards, and hits his head against a tree.
Lily: A black mage bandit quickly steps in and bounces the spell back at the party.
Actually… we DO get paid well hahaha.
He then attacks with an ice spear, aimed at Lily,
Lord Makar: Notices a bandit jumping towards Tybold.
Sir Icarus (Again): Arriving late with Lieselotte, he discovers she didn’t need his help after all, seeing the bandit she just killed, and that Makar is already helping both.
Archer bandit: Aims his bow to the unsuspecting Agamemnon, but he narrowly misses him.

(I’m on autoplay. I’ll protect any vital forces and follow Makar’s orders. But if Herald is put in danger, I will do everything but sacrifice my life to protect him.)

He jumps in front of the bandit planning to kill Tybold and swings his shiny blade diagonally, planning to separatehim from his lower half and from his weaponred hand.

(Interesting, you have that much in stake with me Hannibal)
Herald sheiths his ice blade and draws the other one. He stikes a nearby tree with it to catch in on fire and cause confusion amongst the bandits.

Lilly just sighs. Standing perfectly straight and wondering what families these bandits might have…but no time to ponder for too long. She waits just as the spell is cast, the ice blast heading straight towards her…..the hedgehog still in stepping distance of the princess…
One leg abruptly goes out sending one of the bandits charging at the Princess into a stumble, in the same move Lilly grabs him by the back of the collar taking advantage of his lack of balance. Pulling him in front of her just in time to use him as a living shield against the incoming blast of ice….
That is assuming she times it all well enough….

Tybold moves with suprising speed as she whips her ivory staff up and aims the intricately designed head of it at the bandit leaping towards her. Mid air, dodging would be impossible.
“Light Orb!”
A very familiar voice shouted as the staff blasted a sphere of brilliant light out of the tip of the staff that would connect with the bandit’s ribcage and explode, sending him back, and injuring him enough that standing any time soon would not be an option. It would save Makar from having to add another dead soul to his conscience
I need protection while I cast this spell… Just hold out for me everyone…
“Brightest of lights…”
The voice was slightly different this time. Less familiar… A resonating reverb gave it an unearthly sound. The girl stabbed her staff into the ground and began to chant

Albert, ever the knight, holds his ground by the princess, wielding his sword in an unimpressive but very practical manner, hewing down any bandit who tries to circle round the flank of Lord Makar and his charge. Delilah is beginning to snap out of it a little as she sees her friends fighting for their lives, the sparks from one of the blocked fireball making her wrinkle her snout a little. She yells a warning to Lily as she sees that ice spear launched straight at the hedgehog.
Duck! *she shouts in a rather too high pitched voice, obviously underestimating the hedgehog*

Beheads one of the advancing bandits and then counters the Black Mage with his only other elemental attack.
Penetrate and electrocute, Piercing Lightning!
We need to end this quickly.

She presses her back to Makar, the blood in the air and the nearby shouts prohibiting her from further using her senses to make up for her lack of sight. She bares her fangs and claws wildly at the air in front of her.
Lord Makar, I need your help more then ever now.

After fighting the mechanism for abit, a quick punch unlocks the trigger and unjams the bolt. Unfortunately the boss is out of sight now, however the appearance of a mage in the bandit’s group provides an excellent target as he looses the bolt.
Comment ID #48884
Icarus looks around, not sure if he should attack or defend, let alone who. He sticks to protecting the mage with his shield, to make himself useful.

Lord Makar: The bandit manages to guard the slash, but being in midair, it makes him lose control, falling to the ground.
Herald Cheifsson: His plan works against him. One of the trees burning leaves fall on his arm, setting him fire. Since the bandits aren’t hiding anymore, they aren’t really distracted by the burning tree.
Hannibal (Autoplay): Sees Cheifsson burning, and the fire propagating through his arm. He runs to the nearby river to attempt to get some water, but by the time he’s back, the fire has propagated too much to be able to do something about it.
Lily: The ice spear was stronger than she expected. It pierces through both the bandit, and Lily’s shoulder, badly injuring her.
Tybold: As Makar knocked back the bandit coming towards her, she combos with the spell “Light Orb”, sending him flying backwards, and badly injuring him. The bandits are now distracted fighting everyone, and she is no longer the main target.
McCardell: His arrow hits the mage, it’s not a lethal blow, but its painful enough for him to not notice Sean casting another spell.
Lady Lieselotte: Her random clawing manages to harm yet another unlucky bandit. It causes him to seriously bleed.
Sir Icarus: Stays and protects the mages.
Sean: CRITICAL HIT. A lighting bolt hits the black mage, instantly making him explode into bits. The shock on the ground damages many bandits around him as well.
[The battle is won!]
[Died in action:
Sebastian Tobyfyor
Herald Cheifsson]

Shit! They are stronger than expected! Everyone retreat!
He randomly fires a bolt into the crowd, and it’s heading in Delilah’s direction. Everyone starts to retreat in different directions, some of them accidentally dropping items as they flee, breaking as they fall to the ground. Only a single healing potion survives from breaking.

Dashing from the shadows, he grabs Deliliah and throws both himself and Delilah to the ground.

Meanwhile… on another universe, The devil and The empress react to Cheifsson’s death. The hierophant also reacts after seeing McCardell kill those bandits.

Delilah cries and has just started to run over to Lily, fumbling around for something to staunch the bleeding with even as the bolt streaks towards her, not noticing the bolt until the assassin launches himself towards her, the knight moving to interpose himself as well and blocking her view.

Lily just lets the bandits lifeless corpse fall to the ground, falling to a sitting position herself, her arm hanging loosely as she eyes the retreating enemies. Grinding her teeth, and spitting the dirt bellow them
“….right… now they run…*sigh*…..will be feeling this for the rest of the trip..”
She flinches looking at the blood oozing down her right sleeve, carefully removing her robe with her good arm to get a better look at the wound.

After blocking the arrow, he got the potion and handed it to Lily. Secure that everything was fine, he walked near Lady Lieselotte and touched her back to get her atention, hoping that she was fine.
Are you okay? Not harmed? Sorry for not protecting you as I should… that white mage was about to be killed, so I had to do something…

I was blind out there Makar! You can play the hero to everyone, but when I truly need your help, where are you? Off with the princess, I had to fend for myself.
She pushes away from him, furious and slightly shaken she walks to a nearby corpse and kneels down in front of it.
I trust you Lord Makar, maybe too much…

After the Bandits retreated, and after seeing that the wounded were taken care of, he plops down to rest.
I really overdid it back there…We can’t afford to lose so many people during every confrontation.
Comment ID #48907
Lily raises her one good hand, pushing the potion back towards Makar just shaking her head “That is for an emergency…. and.. as much as this hurts” She flinches “… really hurts… I won’ t be dropping dead from it…..we have a moment to rest… so just let me rest and mend these wounds hm?” She gives the knight one of those reassuring smiles, glancing back at ‘Tybold’ “If it wouldn’t be too much trouble Princess?”
Seeing no reason to hide it now that the Vampire had pretty much said it.

The battle took its toll, taking the lives of many bandits, and some of the adventurers. Their adventure however… is only starting. Will our heros be able to stop the evil sorceress Reinhild?
Only time will tell…

Delilah’s eyes widen and she stiffens in the assassin’s grasp as she hears that bolt clang off the shield of the knight only a couple feet away from her.
T-thanks… *she says timidly to her rescuers, blushing a little from the close proximity of someone she doesn’t really know* You saved me. *she is shaking visibly, as Albert stands there looking a bit angry that he didn’t see the bolt in time to step in and help*

She disregards the watchful stares of others and sinks her large fangs into the neck of the lifeless corpse, blood pooling beneath it. She snarls loudly at Makar as she focuses solely on feeding.

The Princess?! What you mean? She’s in the castle!
He was really confused, but reached Lieselotte and sat down besides her, ignoring how fearsome she was trying to look like.
Look, I’m really sorry for letting you down and I don’t want anything bad to happen to you. Please… I prosime I will not leave you in danger again… okay?
He calmly placed his hand on her shoulder.

Just go help everyone else Lord Makar and set up a camp. I’m sure they need your help more then me “hero”.

Brushing dirt off his cloak he turns to the dancer and replies,
“By the trajectory and velocity of the bolt the chances of your dodging in time was minimal, however from my position it was far more likely that I could protect you with minimal damage to myself, even if the lord had not deflected the bolt.”
Looking slightly nervous he scratches his face
“Besides, it would not be… prudent to let another member of this party die on this journey, espicially not one that adds.. color to the group.”
Comment ID #48919
The hedgehog glances at the vampire out of the corner of her eye looking away again with a shiver.
Why am I trusting that foolish boys judgment on this…? And me coated in blood right now.. such a comfort
But.. Lily was in no condition to raise an objection to her presence though… as if Makar would listen… and as if the vampire would leave the man she was so clearly fond of.
(Hm.. pretty sure Maverik is afk. Am I fair to assume there’s some tending to wounds going on here?)
