(I’m back. Is that morning already? If so, ignore this this post.)
Makar got back with some fish on one of his hand while carring wood with the other.
All right… I’ve got some food, everyone…
After making the campfire and eating his meal, preparing some for the others as well, he got up and walked to a tree a little far from there and tried to get some sleep under it.

Goes over and eats some fish, thanking Lord Makar when he awakens…Noticing the tied up bandit, he comes up with an idea.
It will be cruel, but the man would most likely try to kill us if we let him go…When we leave, we should rig him as a trap for our pursuers to find. That should give us a fighting chance at least.
(On autoplay: keeping an eye out and awaiting the others.)

He couldn’t sleep after all, so the knight decided to get up and look how the others were going.
I think leaving him here for his comrades to save him is already enough to buy us some time. Good plan, Sean.
He heard some familiar noises coming from behind a tree nearby and decided to go talk with the Lady.
Why don’t you try to befriend the others? They seem to be trying really hard to it, but you don’t help by acting like this…

The next morning, the princess awakens, having managed just enough sleep to not feel fatigued, though looking at her face, it seems that the previous nights events have aged her expression somewhat. She still smiles kindly, however it seems as though the smile is merely a front to hide her true emotions.
After eating some leftover fish for breakfast, the young girl sits in the middle of camp, and awaits her compatriots awakenings. All the while her gentle gaze takes in everything, as she mimics Lily’s style of analyzing everything. It doesn’t work particularly well for her unfortunately, as her thoughts continue to wander back into the events of the night before.
I must prove that I am not a burden… I must prove to lord Makar that I am more than just a pampered princess… Maybe then… Maybe then he will…
Her thoughts trail off, though her determination remains ever steadfast.
((Autoplay activated: Princess Sunday as always will listen to Lilly & Makar in that order. In combat she will try and help subdue the enemy with non lethal force, whilst protecting her allies as well. This especially applies to Lord Makar. Goodnight all. See you in 5 hours-ish))

Carter can be seen snoring loudly, still in his jester’s outfit. He’s taken the swords left by Herald, each one laid beside him. His tranquility is interrupted with the occasional pant and grunt, implying that he’s having some sort of nightmare.

Is off in the distance practicing his knife throwing skills but the smell of Lord Makars cooking quickly grabs his attenion and so he heads off to eat. Then he notices Lord Makar himself and decides to talk to him.
So I’ve been meaning to talk to you since you all left the city.
I was hoping if I could accompany the group on your quest so that the king may finaly knight me.
*whispers* even though the amount of bounty’s people have given me for that sword of yours would probably keep me set for life.
Plus I’ve been wanting to spend some more time with Delilah, ever since I last saw her at the celebration.

Makar turns his atetion to Albert and gladly invite him to the group.
We’re going to need all the support we can get for our quest, so you surely can join us… The knight started to pat the shoulder of the group’s new member.
… and take good care of Delilah, okay?
He turned back to Lieselotte, waiting for her answer.

Having finished her feeding, she proceeds towards the river to wash the blood from her white fur.
It is just not that easy Lord Makar. This is my nature, and if it upsets them then so be it. I’ll not pretend to be something I’m not. You accept me for who I am, maybe if they do I may try to befriend them.

The knight sighed, smiling while followed her to the river.

Hannibal wakes up after a refreshing night’s sleep. With a jolt, he remembers the death of Herald. Ohhh…I’m screwed. I’m a dead man walking. There’s no way I can get myself out of this one… Looking around, he notices his assignment’s dropped blades.
Those would come in handy for me…but that stupid jester has them now. What would his like do with such potent weapons meant for a professional like myself? I’ll just lighten the poor fool’s load a bit… Hannibal stalks over to the sleeping form of Carter and grabs his fallen comrade’s swords.
((I know that this is really douchey, and Hebs can say no to this, but the weapons are right up my alley. Also, Carter can just steal a sword off the other dead guy to compensate. Heck, he can have my old swords if he wants. Please?))
Comment ID #49098
(@nHannibal: I wasn’t going to bother with this, since I didn’t think a jestor could use it; the ice projectile is a power of the sword itself, the fire one can do the same too, but a fireball instead. However it draws it’s energy from the user. Herald could do three at most when he was well practiced. Someone unused to it could prolly do one, two at best, before they were exausted.
Have fun with them)

Dave’s nose perks up as he awakens to the smell of cooked fish and immediately rushes out to find some breakfast.
Mmmm, I haven’t eaten fish in a while.
He finds the source of the smell and begins to chow down on the fish.

That ambush really took it outta me, so much so that I’m actually talking to myself. Better grab some grub. My gut tells me there’s fish nearby.

He saw a big salmon in the river and quickly dived, coming back with the fish on his hands.
What about we share this one? He looks that will taste really good.
He noticed everyone was eating the fish from last night and that the campfire was still burning well enough for one more cook.

Ah, yes. I’ll spin you boys a yarn of my glory days back in the Royal Guard. Hmmm…well, there was that one time everybody died…how did it happen? Ah yes.
There I was. Part of a small force of men, sent to extract valuable cargo from the center of a small fortified town. The cargo was a young mage whom the crown needed information from. Unfortunately, she was being held against her will in the center of a well fortified town. We were dispatched to make a covert entry and bring her out safely. Unfortunately, they made the mistake of leaving me in charge. I made a daring plan to get the high value individual out of there alive. However, the only ones that made it out were the mage, my right hand man-missing an arm- and yours truly. On the way back home, we were ambushed. Luckily, my amazing skill and expertise and the regrettable loss of my then one armed friend allowed the mage and I to escape. I was later awarded a medal and several angry families.

That’s a sad story… at least the mission was a success…
Lord Makar sat down along the others and decided to join them.
Well… since everyone is telling their stories… I guess you guys would like to hear mine, right?

Hannibal lets loose a fierce grin. Exactly. Acceptable losses for an important mission- Hannibal glances worriedly at the late Herald’s general direction. Unless the losses fail the mission…So what’s your tale, Makar?

Keeping gaze into the flames of the campire, Lord Makar started to tell…
Two years ago, I arrived the kingdom of Caignwell. It seemed a sad place at the beginning, but soon I knew why: They had lost the sword of light for a tirant beast. I offered my help to retrieve it, but they laughed, altough some civilians suplied me with what I would need to carry on with such mission. On the way we met Lieselotte… she was being hunted by the villagers of a nearby kingdom because she was a vampire… I was the only one who defended her, believing she wasn’t what people said. At the end I conviced them to leave her alone and she tagged along me on my quest. When we arrived the beast’s lair, the fight was intense… I lost my previous sword and was about to be eaten alive, but she held the creature back and gave me time to get the sword. I jumped from the platform it was being placed and pierced the beast’s forehead. It started to throw itself to the walls of the cave and finally fell on the stone floor, dead. The cave started to collapse, but we were able to run away before it could bury us alive. Well… I conviced Lady Lieselotte to follow to the kingdom and the rest is story.
(If Hebs has something against this story, please disregard.)

That explains the fame that has come about you. I’ll take your word about Lady Lieselotte, that definitely explains why she seems grumpy and distant from the others. Well I guess I should explain why a Rogue would join a group of people on such a quest.
(Give me a sec.)

Bites a huge peice of his Salmon and looks Hannibal and Lord Makar staight in th eye
…
…
Is that it?
Hahaha! boy’s you ain’t seen nothing yet.
On time I was told to go find out why some mage had been acting odd and invitine people into his house, without ever leaving.
Turns out the guy was a necromancer and when I finally found a way in there I’ve got skelotons and zombies running right after, meI from every corner of the room.
If it wasn’t for my knife throwing skill those things would have been munching on me in seconds.
of course the mage strides in and is begins spell I never even knew we’re humanly possible. But hey I did learn one thing after that fight. Necromancer don’t like to be stabbed in the head.
And I found myself a little ‘bonus’ to the service and found this on him.
Holds up a large red necklace hidden away under his chainmail. He the takes another bite of his fish and looks at Lord Makar with a small smile
Then again finding something shiny is never as impressive as finding a vampire for a girlfriend.

Guh!
The knight gulped, kinda hiding his embarassed face under his cape’s neckband.
Sh-she’s not my girlfriend! We’re just good friends! Is it forbidden for a boy having a girl as a friend?! They must be dating?!
(detail: it was kinda of Abbey’s quote.)
He looked aside.

starts to laugh at how Lord Makar reacts
Well now I wouldn’t say that.
I would say that most men don’t react that way when they’re ‘just friends’
I was at that celebration remember?
Don’t think I didn’t see how you two acted together.

Trying to get some heat off Lord Makar, Dave tells his tail.
That reminds me of a time that I had been camping in the woods when some nut job trying to rob me had summoned hell dogs with fire spewing from their bodies to kill me.
But he underestimated me. When the dogs ran at me from different angles all it took was one spinning swing.
As soon as the fool’s dogs are dead as dead can be, he begins chanting a new curse to attack me with, too bad he never had time to finish it because he caught a bad case of axe and was split in half.
At least he got to see his puppies again in hell.
Dave laughs.

Well, you two have had some interesting encounters I must say…
Begins telling his story.
I wasn’t always a Rogue, I used to travel with a group of friends and the love of my life, Luna…I was rather reckless back then, and had come to desire power. After indulging myself with the destructive and powerful attacks from Black Magic, I learned of an incredibly powerful sword known as the Sol Blade.
Plants the long sword in the ground next to him.
Little did I know the price it would cost me…We found the dungeon the blade was stored and after many trials and tribulations we succeeded in obtaining it, however we were quite tired afterwards and had no idea about the large group waiting to ambush us for an easy steal…There were too many of them, one by one my friends fell until it was just Luna and myself…She managed to create a shield to protect me, but she was cut down in the process…The Sol Blade acted on its own accord and brought down a flaming meteor that disinegrated the enemy…I’ve only kept going, because it was Luna’s dying wish…Since then I devoted my life to protecting others and found White Magic to be quite useful for healing and protection…
As for why I’m here now: I had come for the festivities like everyone else. If Reinhild succeeds in killing the King, it is likely that the kingdom will fall into chaos and then inevitable that a war would break out. I wish to avoid that if possible, and I wouldn’t last very long against Reinhild by myself anyway. So there you have it, I’m willing to help however much I can.

For the good of the kingdom…yes. Heck, if I live through this whole escapade, then the underworld types waiting to kill me for letting that Southerner die might lay off since I’ll be a big hero and all…
