The dancer is a bit surprised by the jester’s request, him having seen just how useless she was previously. But maybe… The cat clenches her fists, rising slowly.
Well, maybe this will help a little…
The cat begins dancing, her movements making the wind rise a bit around the pair. While at this distance, she can do only a little, she focuses as much of the intensity of her dance as possible on the person she can see the best, Lord Makar atop the dragon. Flicking her skirts around a bit provocatively, she balances atop the root, her heels thudding dully against the wood as her dance, directing her movements in his direction, a warm tingle flowing through his body. While at closer range it can allow someone greater strength, at this range, all it can do is ease the soreness of his body from the burns and maybe refresh a little of what he has spent.

(Fine then disregard my earlier post)
Dave upon hearing Hannibal’s warning, retreats while maneuvering away from the incoming ice blast, back to the forest and hides in the brush.

Rocks fall everyone dies… JK.
Lord Makar: Holds the sword tightly with his hands, making the dragon unable to shake him off. The movement does a little more harm to it, but Makar is unable to push the sword further.
Dave: Another strong swing, a few more of those should cripple the dragon. The dragon lifts its foot in response to the pain it received. Dave runs and hides in a bush.
Sir Icarus: Guards (Post)
Sean: CRITICAL SUCCESS! The lighting strikes the sword directly avoiding Makar, severely damaging the dragon. Makar is knocked back by the lighting, but his gloves protects him from being electrocuted by the sword.
Hannibal: CRITICAL SUCCESS! The ice projectile deeply penetrates the leg, freezing it from the inside. The dragon loses balance and starts falling sideways, where Dave is hiding.
Delilah: The magic of her dance covers the battle field, protecting everyone from harm, and strenghtening.
With their newly gained strenght, the dragon is ready to be dealt the final blow.

Carter hears the screams of the dragon and looks in that direction. As the fight seems to be ending, he opts to watch from a safe distance. Upon seeing the ice shard blazing the dragon’s leg, he comes to a slow realization.
“…That’s the sword I had!” he finally said.
(And enter auto-mode. And yes Hannibal, I’m gonna want those swords back, or at least your own sword in return.)
Comment ID #49305
Hannibal rushes up to the Dragon’s flank (the one that won’t crush him) and plants both swords in the Dragon’s side.

After regaining significant strength, Icarus manages to stand up, leaning on his sword. He seeks out the princess in hopes of patching up his leg. His agility is significantly lowered, but he can walk due to the strength increase from Delilah’s dance. He attempts 3 more ranged attacks, his shield ready to parry any future ricochets.

Dave finding new strength from Delilah’s dance attempts to book it away from the area of impact of the falling dragon

I need to use this strength to help heal the others.
Heads over to start healing Lady Lieselotte.
Repair and rejuvinate, Healing Light!

Encouraged by her friends’ success, the dancer moves up a bit closer, her dance becoming a bit more rapid, the effect growing a bit stronger with her increased proximity and the length of the dance, slowly creeping up in their bones. Carter, being nearest, can feel the effect most strongly of all as her skirts lift higher and higher with her increasingly fast movements.
I will help you today! I won’t let anyone else die!
Comment ID #49313
(Yes. I pointed than Makar had gloves… just forgot to draw them last time.)
Makar takes out his shield and tries to catch some wind with it to smooth his landing. Then climb a tree and prepare to jump back to the dragon’s head and retrieve his sword.

Feeling the increased effect of Delilah’s dance, the paladin’s agility increases more. He can dodge more quickly, but is still less agile than normal. He attempts to aim one of his beams at the injured leg, and another at the head injury (Note that the headshot attempt likely has a low chance of success.)

(Oh lawdy, I was out all day and missed.. really nothing but a good battle I see. uhhhh)
Watching the whole time, he is shamed by his inability to act. A crossbow an knives are little use against such a foe and there are more capable members of the party. He sits back and wait, ashamed.

(Almost everyone is leaving me to control their characters… soon I’ll be roleplaying as the whole cast! :c)
Arriving the top of the tree, Makar gets some impulse and pulled himself to the dragon, with the shield ready to protect him, he plans to get back to the sword and pierce it deeper. Since the dragon is more damaged now, he believes it will be easier.
(… but guess what? I’m going to auto mode too. As always, counter before attacking first, front line and take orders from eighter Sunday or Lieselotte, but Hebs can control him if necessary.)

Hannibal: The swords bounce off the dragon’s skin, making Hannibal lose balance. He falls and hurts himself.
Dave: He absconds from the area of impact succesfully, avoiding the falling dragon.
Sir Icarus: All of his attacks miss, none are reflected this time. The dragon falling damages the trees around, and a thick branch flies off and hits Icarus, knocking him down.
Sean: The light glows over Lieselotte’s body, however, it’s not acting as fast as he would have expected it to. It will take some time to heal her like this.
Delilah: The dragon’s fall makes the ground shake, making her trip and interrupt her dance.
McCardell: Waits (Post)
Lord Makar: Reaching the falling dragon’s head, he pulls the sword deeper into the dragon’s head. The dragon falls to the ground, and stops moving. Apparently, the sword finally pierced it’s brain, killing it.
[The battle is won!]

Makar pulled his sword back and swang it to take out the blood his sword.
Finally… it’s over… He panted.
He ran back to where Lieselotte was and helped her to join the others.
Sorry for that… next time I’ll protect you, believe me!
(Oficially in auto mode now. See ya.)

The dancer was not expecting the mass of the dragon to shake the earth, and as she is going from foot to foot the root vibrates beneath her, shaking her off and causing her to tumble over backwards, her skirts flying high in the air as she lands with a squeak on her back, quickly sitting up and grabbing her skirts to hide anything unseemly. She then stands up and claps, squealing a bit giddly as the warriors return to her, obviously excited for not cowering in total terror this time… though of course, she was never in any danger to begin with.
David! Lord Makar! You were both so wonderful! *she claps, then sees the terrible burns on the vampire’s back as the feline knight practically carries her back to the group* You’re hurt, Lady!
Delilah dashes down to the river, blushing as she undoes her skirt and soaks it in the water, then runs back up with the sopping wet garmet, pushing it at the vampire’s wounds in an effort to soothe them.
Can’t any of you do anything for her?

The paladin sets up a target range to practice his aim (expect some improvement in this area).
(Afk, gotta sleep. Same strategy as last time. He is beginning to get used to the group, and so he has become more confident and proactive, so he will attack more often. Prefers melee over ranged combat when available, but as mentioned, he is working on improving that.)

(Hell of a time for my computer to die… Am restricted to my mobile for posting for now. So I cannot edit… Will assume that Sunday was knocked out at the start of the fight.)
Sunday sat by the fire and listened to the others tell their grand tales of adventure with genuine interest. She listened closely, but didn’t say anything. She didn’t particularly want to draw attention to herself. When Makar ran off to find the lady Vampire, Sunday supressed the urge to look saddened. She wished to be alone again, and towards that end, she stood up.
“If you’ll excuse me gentlemen… I have princess matters to handle alone now.”
She smiled kindly and gave a slight bow before moving away to a more secluded location. The idea was to have a chance to think to herself. This prooved impossible however, as soon after settling on a location, the Dragon appeared and knocked over a tree in her direction. The princess tried to outrun the tree, but in the process she tripped and smacked her head on a large rock. The last thing she heard before passing out was Makar shouting lady Lieselotte’s name…
While uncontious, she dreamed of her father. His injured form taunted her mind…
“You could’t protect me… You let the kingdom come into grave danger by allowing harm to come of me.”
She shook her head viggerously. It wasn’t true! She had done everything she could…
“And what of Lord Makar? You cannot even stand up to a vampire to win his affection?”
It was true… The Lady Lieselotte seemed the recipiant of Makar’s affection… But what was she to do about it? Her mind became too hazy to think, and blackness consumed her.
After the battle was won, Sunday slowly awoke to see the others standing around the enourmous corpse victorious. The princess felt terrible for not having helped…
“At least… At least I wasn’t a burden this time…”
Her soft voice announced her return to the group. She saw that they had once more lost a member, and she moved over to the chunks of his corpse, saying a brief prayer over his soul. A single tear rolled down her cheek, as she turned back to the others.
“We must press on… Reinhild must be made to pay for her assult on the kingdom, and for those who have fallen in her pursuit.”

@Delilah
I’m trying to heal her, but without someone else’s help this is going to take awhile.
(Going into auto again: Finish healing attempt on Lady Lieselotte and then follow the others. Cautious and tries to access the situation before running into a battle, sticks to ranged magic unless it has no effect.)

Hannibal is a bit winded from using the projectile blade. ((If there’s another fight while I’m on auto for the next 7 hours, He’ll keep back and defend himself and others. If there’s a lack of action, he’ll be getting drunk, talking with the guys, or hitting on one of the girls.))

Delilah shakes her head at the princess’s words, biting her lip.
We are out here to stop her, not to get revenge!
She continues to tend to the vampire’s wounds. After several minutes of tending to the Lady she remembers that she has removed her skirt and her blush returns.
Can someone take over for a while? I need to, uhm, get dressed…. *she says, trying to avoid the gaze of the men*
(I’m going to work. Delilah will put on a different outfit, a green one, once someone takes over tending to the vampire’s wounds.
She’ll mostly hang towards the middle or back, probably keeping mostly near Susanna, or any of Dave, Lord Makar, Lady Lieselotte, McCardell, and most especially Albert; if danger shows, she’ll probably retreat to behind the front lines, but after a short while will start dancing a fast-paced dance which will make anyone nearby fractionally faster, reacting and moving just a bit faster than they should be able to. She’ll take directions from Albert, Susanna, Lord Makar, McCardell, Lady Lieselotte, Lily, and Dave, in that order, as well as anyone who is protecting her. In combat, she won’t fight directly, but is more willing to use her dances to help out her allies today. However, being attacked will likely reduce her to a shattered pile of nerves very quickly, cowering after the first time she is attacked wherever she thinks it is safest.
Hopefully that covers it all and won’t be too necessary.)

Still focusing on her wounds.
That Dragon really did a number on her. If the Princess helped, we should be able to get her up and running again.
(Assuming Maverik doesn’t interject.)
Princess Sunday, I could use your help over here. When were done, we should tend to the other wounded.

Carter watches Sean working on healing Lucy with these never-blinking eyes he’s known for. He considers asking if he could assist, but when Sean calls for Princess Sunday, he chooses to refrain. After a few minutes of gazing, his mind jumps back to what he saw just before the end of the fight. He approaches Hannibal and says plainly, still with the default smile on his face, “You have my swords.”

Crouches down near the Dragons head, looking deeply into it’s lifeless eyes
So now that girl can summon dragons!?
How could we fight someone that powerful if she’s killing off the group before we even get to her.
*Sighs* We should of gotten more prepared before we left.

Princess Sunday turns to Delilah with a serious expression on her face.
“What you might call revenge, I would call justice. She must be stopped, stripped of her powers and imprisoned. My father can decide on what to do with her once we have done this.”
After hearing Sean’s request, Sunday notices the injured lady Lieselotte, her burns rather severe. For a fleeting moment, the thought of refusing to help her crossed the princess’s mind. But only a moment. She could not be so cruel… Sunday moved over to the Vampire and placed her hands over the woman, chanting quietly as her palms glowed. The burned flesh seemed to melt into her skin, leaving only a very red patch, as her singed and missing fur re-grew somewhat to cover the marking.
“It will still hurt somewhat… But you are in no danger of death or infection… I am sorry that this is all I can do without the proper tools…”
Sunday sighed softly and looked about the camp. One by one the party was dwindling. Just how long until it was Makar’s turn? Or Lily’s? Or even her own. She slowly walked over to where the slain dragon lay, and placed a palm against the forehead where Makar’s sword had pierced it’s skull. She looked so very sad, though she held back her tears.
“I’m so sorry… Please… No more death…”
Her words were quiet, but anyone actually paying attention to her would hear them.
((Going on Auto for sleep time. Back in about 5 - 6 hours hopefully. As usual, will listen to Makar & Lily above all else, though will aid whoever needs help with her defensive & healing magics. Also, when there is no healing or defending to do, she will try and incapacitate enemies without killing them using white magic))

Stops after Princess Sunday finished.
Thank you, I’m going to start on Sir Icarus now.
His injury takes far less time to heal.
That should do it…This has all taken a lot out of me, I’m going to rest for a little while.

Exhausted by her wounds, she spent most of the day sleeping. She had laid down beside Lord Makar before dozing off, she seems almost harmless now, the only sounds from her, her slow, soft breathing and the soft thump of her tail against the ground. We in not for her slightly visible fangs, she would seem like any other person.

Makar sighed in relief when Sunday healed Lieselotte’s wounds. He started to caress the Lady’s head sweetly.
You’ll be better now…
Later, he noticed Sunday near the dead dragon and decided to walk near.
I know it’s tough, Princess… I’m worried of everyone’s lives, too…
He placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling.
… but that’s what gives me forces to never give up! I never give up because I have people I really care about to protect and I can’t abadon them! You give me strenght to never give up as well, so don’t be sad, okay?
He patted her shoulder gently and stood there, hoping she would feel better.

Holds Lord Makar’s shoulder signaling he would prefer to talk in private.
I know that you have a lot of confidence in the group but if it wasn’t obvious not everyone shares your optimism. People have started dieng and we both share an intrest in keeping a certain few of them alive.
All I’m saying is that we should be a little more prepared if we’re going to fight someone so powerful.
he then stops dead in his tracks and points the where a few of the dead dragons scales had fallen loose
They say you can make strong weapons from the scales of a dragon.
With the right enchantments that is.

Judging how Reinhild fled after summoning that dragon, I do believe she thought it would be enough to finish us off. We should gather the others and head off after her while we still have the element of surprise. In any case, we should move before she comes back.

Notices Albert pointing to the dragon scales.
*Those could be pretty important.*
He goes and retrieves a few of the scales for himself.
(Note that I did not hear Albert, I just came to the same conclusion on my own.
And Sean, the dragon scale idea was not heard by everyone, it was spoken to Makar in private.)

You’d be surprised my friend.
I was once tasked to help a mage with a ‘special’ forging for a king someplace.
All you need is a couple controlled fireball spells with some binding magic, and a bucket of water nearby.
(If it weren’t obvious I kinda want a Dragon blade. Cos even is it’s not any better then my rapier it’s still pretty bad-ass. That is if Hebs says yes *puppy dog face*)
Comment ID #49644
Makar thought for a couple seconds and agreed with Albert.
Well, then… let’s get some scales and see what we can do. Maybe I can improve my shield, but let’s see…
(Up to Hebs to allow this.)
When we get ready, we’re going, okay? He announced.

Follows the trend and grabs some scales.
We should distribute these to the rest of the group.
(Automode: Helps enchant scales if allowed, follows the group and keeps an eye out for danger. Sticks to ranged attacks with magic, but will resort to close combat with sword and shield if need be.)

Well until the mages are awake we can’t do anything yet.
Unless one of you have an anvil hidden in his pocket we may as get ready to continue on.
