The cat feels her hair stand on end as the vampire says something ominous.

What is it? What do you smell? *the cat looks around nervously, trying to see if she can see anything, her voice meek behind the stronger voice of the knight*

Kriegsherr wanders up to Lieselotte and Makar in his Blood-stained armor (remember when I said his armor was blood red? well… they don’t got paint up north!)
I think I shall join you, Makar…

This is different, not from the aftermath of the party. I cannot put my finger on it though it’s…

Lily, I would assume, is back in the castle keeping an eye on the Princess and the king. Standing near one of the arched windows of the grand stone structure facing the city outskirts, and the small army that had been gathered there thus far…. with no army of the damned to face.

She sighed shaking her head

“A bluff then….”

The Hedgehog stepped back rubbing her forehead still trying to remember that voice…..he was likely trying to hide it some. But he knew the king…. and if he knew the king there was a good chance she’d know him as well after all her years of service. But -who-… who was it.

(I’m sure the Princess wouldn’t be on the front lines ehn? I’m sure she’ll try to sneak off soon enough though.)

The dancer looks around helplessly as her friends all begin to start to form some sort of battleplan, she isn’t sure. She isn’t a warrior by any means, just a dancer, but she doesn’t want to be left alone here - no one but these people had reacted with anything but shock to Reinhold, and she doesn’t feel safe here as they begin to start off after the vampire. Hiking her skirts, she follows, her beads clicking.

Wait up, I’m coming too! *she follows close behind Dave, too slow to get behind the knight where she REALLY wants to be, but content to be with her big friend, looking at the trees a bit timidly from behind the dog*

After an hour has passed, it has become evident that there is no army invading. It is also clear that the king shows no signs of awakening any time soon. The princess fears for her fathers safety, but knows there is little she can do at this junction. Her magic has barely affected him, and the other healers are working around the clock to aid his recovery. Sunday approaches Makar as he requests for people to join him. She plants an ornate looking staff made of bleached white bone into the ground beside her, a traveling cloak around her shoulders, a hood covering her face from the commoners.

“I will aid you Sir Makar…”

She tries rather feebly to mask her voice

She glances up at the guardsmen, her eyes wide and her fangs quite visible.

There’s something in these woods, something we cannot leave unchecked. I fear the king will need to wait, if we leave now and return we risk allowing a great danger near the castles. Lord Makar, what do you think?

Lady Lieselotte June 23, 2010, 3:10 AM EST.

Lily Quirks a brow as one of the Guards approach her.” The Hedgehog being quite unaware that the princess was no longer in the castle. Likely the first of those called to arrive at the kings room with a bow and a smile.

“I see you are well your majesty…” She folded her arms and gave a smirk “..You are a terrible terrible man Andrew worrying your daughter like that.”

(Yes I made up a first name for the king! What? I’ve likely been around since he was still a Prince unless the last king died fashionably early.)

As everyone gathers before the King, he begins to explain who Reinhild is… and her likely reasons to attack him

You might be wondering why I called you here… you might also be wondering who that person who attacked us was… and… I saw her face as she was leaving.

Her name is Reinhild. She lived in this kingdom a long time ago… and was the only daughter of a poor family. Her dad worked as a mercenary, and made barely enough to support his family. He was killed on his job before he could even reach some fame, leaving behind Reinhild and her mother with no source of income whatsoever.

Her mother started taking on the lowest of jobs… earning a misery, and so resorted to burglary. We caught her, and executed her due to her many repeated offenses. Reinhild was left alone, and was forced to live on the streets. We tried to find her a place to live, but no one wanted to take her in, because she was the daughter of a thief I presume…

One day she just dissappeared, and never heard from her again… we just forgot that she existed… until now. I believe she might have been here for revenge…

Please stop her… she has been corrupted by some sort of evil power… so make sure you lay her to rest… it’s to late for her now.

The king coughs a bit, and continues talking

I have enough rooms prepared for all of you… though you will probably have to sleep in pairs. I don’t think that should be a problem.

I suggest you all rest before facing her… after a party and a fight like that… you must be quite tired.

Stepping forth, he is accosted by the royal guard. With a wave of the kings hand though he is let go. Clearing his throat he asks the King.”

“My liege, while it is almost against my better judgment to ask while you are in this condition, but what incentive do most of us have to combat this Reinheild? Also, why would you be familiar with one girl in particular, espicially one of little note in a kingdom of this size. Her story must be the same as many others….”

Delilah follows along with everyone else, a bit bewildered by the turn of events, first heading off into the woods, then being called back to see the king, but she defers to the other’s judgement, twisting her skirts in her hands as the king talks. She listens to the king’s words, shaking her head.

Your majesty, Lady Liselotte was following her trail when you called us back. I don’t know much about these things, but if there’s really a zombie army, can’t you… you know… send some people to go deal with it? More, I mean? *she looks around nervously* We have an army, don’t we?

Delilah June 23, 2010, 3:45 AM EST.

She rolls her eyes at the conversation

I doubt that I need any rest, that fight was only a few fists thrown at best for me. I still wonder about the woods though..

Noticing the paladin beside her, she snaps out of thought and looks him over uneasily

Yes, there was blood in the forest. What’s your interest in it?
