Princess Sunday begrudgingly returned to her room, slipping in and removing her cloak. It wasn’t enough. Now that they were inside the castle, it would be much harder to go with the group. But there had to be a way.
I cannot sit idly by while the Kingdom is in danger. My friends are always running off to fight the wicked forces. And I am forced to stay here and worry… Well not this time. I won’t be the helpless damsel anymore… I want to help my friends… I want to help Makar…
The princess devised a plan for the next morning. One that would work. But she first had to ease the minds of those who would stop her. She had to make her presence known. And so, she fixed her dress, and re-appeared in the main hall where several of the adventurers still stood. Though she said nothing, she tried her best to look aproachable.

(Time for sleep. Autoing. Lily will well.. sleep for one. In the forest though? Protective spells mostly..but no rushing to the front line. Keeping close to the Princess most likely)

(Since everyone seems to have headed off, I’ll send Sunday to bed)
As usual, most people were either too intimidated, or too respectful to approach the Princess of the nation. But her goal was completed. She had been seen alive and well in the castle. After some time had passed, she bid the few stragglers goodnight, and headed to her room. Her plan was set, and everything was ready. She would awaken early in the morning, and before anyone knew what had happened, she would be long gone.

(I’m going to bed as well. Delilah will sleep, then get several changes of clothes in the morning of various colors, at least one per day it will take to go through the wilderness. She will also go out and buy some rations, taking advice from the more experienced folk as to what she should get, and will also carry a waterskien or flask, all on a backpack. She will also bring a lightweight blanket.
She’ll mostly hang towards the middle, probably keeping mostly near Susanna, or any of Dave, Lord Makar, Lady Lieselotte, and most especially Albert if they’re towards the middle (she might go wherever Albert is though), probably hiding behind one of them if anything threatening shows up. She’ll take directions from Susanna, Albert, Lord Makar, and Lady Lieselotte, in that order, as well as anyone who is protecting her. In combat, she won’t take orders to fight directly, and in the first combat will likely simply shriek and hide in the midst of her companions, probably behind whatever large male is closest.
For travel, she will on the morning of the first day start out by doing a whirling dance as they set out, making them feel more fleet of foot, as though they are bearing less weight; it is only a minor effect though, and mostly just makes you feel more buoyant and your load lighter, but she’ll probably stop after a few hours when she begins to get tired herself.
Hopefully that covers it all.)

Agamemnon had spent the rest of the day in the royal library conducting research on the current invader. It didn’t take him long to figure out who Reinhild was, but what mystified him was that there was no records of her after she had disappeared. Normally a missing person still leaves some sort of trace, but from what he could piece together, the last time she was seen was after stealing some camping supplies.
A person of your status should not be able to command such potent dark magic…
Noticing that it was getting late already, he closed the book he had been reading and placed it back to the bookshelf
It seems like you’ve peaked my interest Reinhild dear…
As he turned to walk away he passed the royal guard who was guarding the library
Thank you for not bothering me dear sir. How awfully kind of you.
The guard did not respond. Upon a closer inspection you could see that he was actually stuck in his current pose, about to reach for his sword while apparently trying to yell something at someone.
((Figured that Agamemnon wouldn’t really bother about the king or what transpired in the party. He’d be more interested in the masked person and the fact that she easily took the king down while surrounded by guards))

(I basicaly only have time for one post here, so don’t try and talk to me, you won’t get an answer)
Herald woke up in the alleyway he collapsed in. Confused at first as to his surrounding, then he rememberd the previous night. He walked around a bit, duscussing with people he met the previous night’s excitement. There were rumours that the king had called in Lord Makar and a few other warriors to his catle the night before. It was likely that a war party had been made, with Makar as it’s head.
Figuring that thias would be his chance to finnaly find himself a proper quest, Herald went ot the castle gates and sat down outside. The party had to go through here eventually, and when they did he would follow them. Wait until they were away from the castle where people might recognize him, and then approach the group and ask to join

Yeah, I hate to ask, but can somebody give me a short summary of what’s happened so far. There’s no way I can read through all of this. I know I’ve been following Lucy into a forest or something, but I can’t get details on the attack.
Comment ID #48427
(Stupidly short summary follows:
King is attacked by Reinhild. She proceeds to flee after presumably mortally wounding the king
Upon departing Reinhild threats that her undead army will attack. Party prepares to engage said army.
Undead army turns out to be a bluff. Reinhild is long gone. Party is about to enter the nearby forest in pursuit but are recalled by the king.
King explains the history behind Reinhild. Party agrees to start their search for her tomorrow.
Everyone goes into their rooms to rest (two people in a room each) while a few people still stay up for various reasons
End summary)

Susanna awoke suddenly. She turned her head to the left side of her to see Delilah sound asleep. She decides to get up and get dressed. After She’s dressed, Susanna silently leaves the room, and heads for the castle gates. she looks down beside her to see a man looking back at her
Hello, there. Might you be awaiting someone?

Having slept well the night before, he gets up with renewed vigor. After re-equipping his light armor and weaponry, he goes out into the courtyard to see who else might be awake.

Agamemnon meanwhile had just exited the royal library and stepped out to the courtyard noticing Lieselotte sitting alone at one of the benches
Hm… This might prove to be the chance I’ve been looking for
Silently walking behind her he calmly engaged in conversation with the lady certain that she had already sensed his approach ages ago
Evening milady.
Agamemnon gave a slight courteous bow. His suave smile was unnerving.
I suppose I’ll cut right to the chase. I’ve heard that you’re planning on going after Reinhild and for one reason or other it seems we are after the same target. If you ask me it would seem only reasonable that I join your little group. As they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
It was rather obvious that the cat had some ulterior motives behind this reasoning and he didn’t really make any attempt at hiding the fact that it was the case.

I only travel where Lord Makar does. I could care less of our target, or who joins along.
She turns around and watches for the Lord again.
Though should you double cross us, you’ll learn why my kind are truly feared.
Though it seems nobody here fears me any longer since I travel with Makar. People used to fear me, I don’t know why they are so trusting of a vampire now. It’s unnerving to say the least.
Comment ID #48452
I’ll take that as a yes then. You can’t blame me for being cautious. Especially with someone of your kind.
He sighed a bit and walked to the opposite side of the yard. It was clear the vampire wasn’t feeling chatty and annoying her would only provide an useless fight he wasn’t prepared to have

Finally, a person with enough sense to not bother a Vampire .
She looks to Sean, growls and rubs her head in frustration.

I wouldn’t bother the Vampire if I were you. Especially in the morning.

Sorry, my name is Sean. I’m a wandering Rogue who tries to bring peace where ever I go. I’ve stuck to practicing white magic due to it’s protective and healing capabilities, but have learned a few black magic tricks for emergencies. I came for the festivities, but have stuck around due to the possibility of a war breaking out if Reinhild suceeds in killing the King. So, what is your story my good man?
Comment ID #48469
Agamemnon. I’m sorry for not giving out my life story but I like to keep things to myself.

He woke up and jumped from the bed, rubbing his eyes.
Let’s see if everyone’s ready to go…
After some time walking and asking ‘good morning’ for some persons who woke up already, he found Agamemnon and Sean talking to each other besides Lieselotte. He walked near them and saluted.
Thanks for your support during the invasion.

Suit yourself. I just like to know the kind of person I’m fighting alongside. Given the air about you, I would say you have a more darker ulterior motive in mind. But I won’t push the subject any further, Good day.
Better keep an eye on him.
Salutes back to Lord Makar.
Glad to be of assistance, my Lord.

As morning drew, the princess awoke early as planned. She would be coming with the group, and that would be that. Looking out her window, she spied a few other early risers who had already made their way out into the courtyard. Among them, her attention was drawn to Lord Makar.
Makar… I… I do not wish to deceive you…
The young woman thought a few moments, trying desperately to decide what to do. Her plan was ready. But she would be unable to talk to the brave knight whom she thought so much of. Perhaps there was another way..
Dressing in her finest garments, as would be expected of her, she readied herself to go and greet the adventurers. By the time she was done, it seemed that several others had joined the group, making it a much less private affair.
It matters little…
“Lord Makar?”
Her voice was soft and gentle, but determined in it’s purpose.

Herald watched through the castle gates as group members met in the coutyard. Staying out of sight as best he could so that he could follow them when they left on their journey.

Agamemnon was getting slightly annoyed of the time being wasted
So then, ladies and gentlemen. Do we have an actual plan or are we just going to sit here and chat like a bunch of peasants for the rest of the day?
Comment ID #48501
Finally someone with some sense, even if he seems untrustworthy.
Yes, I’ve been ready all night. Shall we leave and take action against this being Lord Makar, or dilly-dally and take part in idle chat. I have better things to do then that, I spent the night watching for danger instead of out hunting.
She stands and crosses her arms, glaring at everyone around her.

Makar turned his atention to Sunday and walked near her and stoped just a few steps away from her. He was smiling warmly for finally be talking to the Princess.
Sunday…
Remembering that he was talking to a princess while he was just a knight, he bow down before the princess.
S-sorry! M-may I help you, Princess?
Before he could hear what she had to say, his comrades appeared to have lost their patience to wait for the others.
We’re going, we’re going! Just a minute…

Sunday held back a giggle at Makar’s actions. It was true that they were not alone, and as such, were not able to simply talk. But she still wished he wouldn’t be quite SO formal
“No need to be sorry… You may rise”
She smiled a kind and soft smile. The sort of smile that told you that everything would be alright
“So you no doubt intend to quest forth and hunt down the sorceress that nearly killed father?”
As she asked this, her smile seemed to fade slightly
And off into danger once more…

Carter wakes up from the jesters quarters with a very obvious thought on his mind. He wondered what Lucy might be doing at this time while getting dressed in his usual garments; the feast that day implied that he was in formal attire. After placing the jester cap on just right, he walked out and headed to the town square, asking the occasional passerby where Lucy and Makar is.

Sunday’s smile slowly faded. She looked at the ground as she spoke.
“You always ask me not to worry… Like it is such a simple task… You act as if I can just put it out of my mind, and think only of you once you return…”
As her head rose to face Makar once more, it was evident that she had traces of tears moistening her eyes
“But I cannot bare to do it again. To spend every night wondering if you or the others might yet still make it back alive…”
Try as she might to fight it, her tears fell from her chin to wet the ground beneath her feet.

Makar looked back to the Princess, holding her hand.
I can’t stop thinking on you too! When I go to an adventure… I just pray to finish it already and be back for you.
With the other hand, he cleans her tears from her face.
Sorry for making you sad… I… I’m sorry.
He let go of her hand and walk away.

Lily watched, as she often did, not interfering just yet. Just sitting back against the stone castle walls, pipe being chewed, still unlit. It was pretty clear to her what the Princess was asking for.
If a prince can raise a sword to defend his kingdom why not a princess? she reasoned, but there was still that pain in her gut. That instinct that didn’t want to see the poor child in danger as she watched those tears fall. It didn’t help that she could still see the little eight year old princess… looking quite silly crying in that dress countless sizes too big
She sighed shaking her head
“When did they all grow up? Makes me wish I had gathered a few of my own…”
Finally the hedgehog woman stepped out. Seeing that foolish boy just walk off again… a good time for their talk she wagered. Lighting her little habit on her way towards the good knight. “… Ah.. Lord Makar if I might have a word…away from curious ears preferably.” She gave the princess a smile, and then glanced back to the knight.
[Edited… then edited back again! Silly princess.]
