Dave lets his ego get the better of him and begins waving at the crown.
Yes we are your heroes and heroines!
Just let us handle it and Reinhild won’t stand a chance.

The small crowd, stares at him silently, and they wave their hands shyly in response to Dave
Who the hell is this guy?

Your cover’s about to get blown. Hannibal says to Herald as they approach the crowd.

She looks at the gathered crowd, unnerved at the strangers watching.
If we’re to go find the Reinhild, then let us go. Time is of the essence if you all truly care.
She speedily walks into the forest, not bothering to wait for the rest to catch up.
If you want me to aid you Lord Makar, you had better have your party join me soon, I will not wait around.

Dave mumbles to himself in dissapointment.
No one appreciates true warriors anymore.
Comment ID #48651
W-wait up!
The paladin rushes to keep up with the vampire.
Comment ID #48652
Not knowing who around might recognize him, Herald sees Liesolette heading out for the forest. He figures a vampire would be more than capable of clearing a path for herself, so he jumps in in her wake to get out of the city quickly

Notices group leaving the city
Hello. You must be Lord Makar. It’s a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, but may I ask what the hell is going on here? I thought there was supposed to be a festival.
Comment ID #48654
Busy waving good bye to the leaving party, the crowd fails to identify Cheifsson.
A kid runs from out the crowd, catching up with Makar, handing him a sealed bottle.
Good luck!
He says smiling, and gets lost in the crowd before he can say anything else.

Dave not wanting to be around the crowd anymore, decides he should get moving and runs after Lady Lieselotte.
Comment ID #48657
The scent of Reinhild’s blood is still strong, even though an entire night passes. Lieselotte and other trackers should have no problem following the trails.
Comment ID #48659
Lord Makar sighed, thinking it was just a simple bottle, but attached it to his back, behind his cape, and rised the sword of light.
Let’s go, everyone! Our quest to defeat Reinhild starts now!
He reached Lieselotte and kept guiding the group, with his shield being held by the right hand and the sword by the left one, resting on his left shouder.
Well, then… our adventure starts now!
(Sorry for taking so long. I should have said I was out&hellip![]()

She seems to glide over the ground as she focuses on the scent. Her footing is sure and unfaltering over the dense underbrush. She glances back to Lord Makar, making sure he is still following before turning forward again. Licking her lips, she grasps the vial of blood in her pocket, her hunger gnawing at her constantly. Watch your step, the brush of these woods hides many dangers big or small.

He took a deep breath, being even more aware of his surroundings, and announced:
Okay everyone, listen carefully! Me, Liesellotte and Dave are going to be in the front line… Albert, Delilah and Plinius are going to cover our back… the rest of you keep eyes open for lateral attacks, ok? I recommend you guys tag yourselves in duals. Rather a defender or a healer and an attacker or two attackers than two defenders, understood?

(So… I’m in the middle? Hello! I’m here too y’know!)

Having followed far enough from the castle, Herald decides to show himself. He approaches the group.”
Hold!
Comment ID #48668
She ignores the newcomer, intent on tracking the scent. She presses on, unyielding to the distraction.
Comment ID #48670
(For the record, I’m right behind Lady Lieselotte. I was the first to chase after her.)
Comment ID #48671
They immerse into the thick forest, following the trail of what presumably is Reinhild’s blood, without a visible path to guide them. There are trees and grass everywhere, nothing to see around but brown and green, and some fruit hanging from some trees. A river can be heard splashing nearby, there must be fish in it, in case the adventurers get hungry.

(@Icaras: I thought there was no need to point anyone’s position, but the primary characters, that’s all.)
Makar thought that the mysterious newcomer were a foe, so he prepared his shield and stepped foward.
Who are you and what do you wish from us?

Herald draws his swords and plants them in the ground beside him, the sign for a peaceful encounter to his tribe.
I am Herald of the nomadic tribes to the south. You may or may not recall that I tried to defend your king when he was attacked. I have the desire to join in your fight agains the sorcerer, for I am on my wandering quest and am not to return to my tribe until I complete a heroic feat. If you would have me I would be very greatful.
Comment ID #48678
The knight smiled and invited him in.
You seem to focus your fighting strategy on attacking your opponents… try to find a defender in our group and keep your eyes open.
Said that, he reached Lieselotte and Dave, keeping to guide the group.

(Requesting permission for timeskip: ~2 hours walking into the forest.
Is that alright or you still have things to do before the next event?)
Comment ID #48680
(Uhh, Lady Lieselotte is leading. She’s tracking the scent. I am following right behind her, because I was the first to chase her. Stop controlling the whole group!!)
Comment ID #48681
(I think we can pretend Lieselotte is leading Makar, and him leading the rest. So timeskip, yay or nay?)
Comment ID #48682
(yay, so we can get to the next important event)
Comment ID #48683
(timeskip yay is my vote)
Comment ID #48684
(yay and I thought it was exactly what Hebs pretended.)
Comment ID #48685
(Well, I guess. But Makar needs to get a clue. I don’t care whether we skip time or not.)
Comment ID #48686
(Ok, I’ll do the timeskip shortly, I have to do something else first)

Hannibal drops down from a tree nearby, falling right on top of Icarus.
Ow. That sounded like it woulda gone better in my head…
Hannibal gets up.
Hail adventurers! I’m with the Southerner over there. Don’t talk to me until I have a drink in my hand and a fire to rest by.

Oww! What the hell?! He rubs his head where he was hit. Watch where you’re falling!!

She continues to ignore the band of “heroes” behind her, getting increasingly irritated at the numerous distractions they cause.
I think we may be coming to the end of the trail. I can only hope we are, I cannot take all to much more of these antics.

Continues to follow the group, keeping a lookout and ears perked for signs of danger.

The knight tried to calm the Lady, altough he was sure the chances of success were little. Afterwards, he asked how much near the end of the trail they were.

A stranger in a white robe approaches the group. The hooded stranger wears a turban and a piece of cloth as a mask, completely covering her face. She hands over a letter to Makar, signed by Princess Sunday.
The letter reads:
Please, for the safety of you and the others, I’ve sent this white mage to aid you in your quest. I’d appreciate it if you took her in. She is the one who taught me all I know.
-Princess Sunday
Makes a reverence to Makar upon handing the letter and keeps walking.

“WOOOOOOAH!” Carter came speeding down, his shoes sporting some awkward-looking wheels on the bottom. He careened towards the group, only to stop short by a tree, which he collided into and fell into a pile of mud. A few seconds later, he quickly stands up and shouts, “Ta-daaah!”, waiting for a round of applause or sudden laughter.
Comment ID #48707
Makar nodded and smiled for the Princess’ support.
By the way, white mage… what’s your name?
He looked at Carter, confused, but tried to aplaude a little to don’t let him down.
Comment ID #48708
Looks at the jester who suddenly appeared in the group, wondering where in the world he came from.
Comment ID #48709
Takes out a second letter and shows it to Makar:
I forgot to include this in the first letter, but her name is Tybold, she is very shy among strangers, so she won’t talk much.

Hannibal nudges Herald in the side.
[Whisper] Mages always know the freaky-deaky stuff, eh? Ooooh, a shy one, too.
Comment ID #48712
(Heh, I guess some events have happened lately, maybe I won’t need the timeskip after all.)
Comment ID #48714
The knight smiled and placed both letters under his cape’s neckband
Well, then… you shall try to find someone in our group without support, if you want.

Delilah laughs at the jester’s antics, but her laughter dies away rather quickly as the vampire in front of the group continues to press on, heedless of those behind her. The dancer had been planning on helping the group move faster, but with the vampire’s fast pace after the trail of blood, the thought of spending much extra energy to travel faster doesn’t appeal as much to her, and she decides to keep her energy until people begin to tire out. Looking ahead, she spies the white-robed creature speaking with Lord Makar.
Who is that? *she asks no one in particular*

As the party starts to gather outside the castle walls, a group of civilians and soldiers start to gather as well, looking at the soon to be heroes in awe.
Are they really hoping to stop Reinhild?
That guy is really powerful…
I don’t think they will come back alive.
They whisper to each other.
