It’s been two years since the appearance of the legendary Lord Makar. Ever since he acquired the Sword of light, everyone, including the king himself, saw him as a hero, and threw a big kingdom wide party in his honor, as he now is the champion of Caignwell, always ready to defend it in the case a great evil threatens the kingdom.
The local wizards helped with the decoration, casting minor spells to create colorful lights. The town square presents a show featuring many dancers and bards. Everyone, including the guards, mercenaries, and soldiers, are celebrating.
There are also many food stands around, serving the highest quality foods, during this day, even the poorest of people can get to eat like royalty.
(You may begin now, come on it’s a party!!)

*After having travelled many miles since he last passed through a town, Herald gives a sigh of relief as the capital city of Caignwell comes into sight. As he approaches the city he hears a great deal of commotion.*
What’s going on here, some form of festival?
*He asks the first person he meets*

*Icarus hears a voice off to the side*
Apparently.
*He sighs*
*Woohoo, more people.*

*She has taken a seat on the outer edge on the party, her arms crossed as she scans through the crowd for Lord Makar. She scowls, the crowd thick, with the majority of people clustered around where she is guessing the Lord can be found* I don’t know why I bothered to come to Lord Makar’s party, I should have know I’d never be able to find him.

Meanwhile, on another universe… some cards start to shine…
The high priestess
The wheel of fortune
The tower
The star
The moon
(High priestess, wheel of fortune, tower and star, pick any player (including yourselves). The moon, pick any player owning any of the above mentioned cards. The rp may continue even though they may not be finished applying their card effects.)

“HELLO, LUCY,” Carter stared at Lucy while addressing her, his beady eyes never blinking. “Are you looking for me… Because here I am,” he added.

*Sees the stranger, Herald Cheifsson, walking around with a clueless look and goes to greet him*
Hello there fine sir, are you new to Caignwell?
Because if you are you’ve come at a great time!

Agamemnon.

(If I seem to disappear for a chunk of time roughly around an hour, assume I’m unpacking our truck. In such a situation, autoplay me. If this does happen, it should do so in approximately ten minutes.
Also, note that I was talking to Herald.)

Although the square is lighted by the enchantments of many wizards, there is still the occasional shadow that manages to thrive in the face of light, here a shape shifts silently, his arms folded, head low in contemplation.
“A party like this must be a massive drain of resources, even for a kingdom of such size, all for one man…”
Comment ID #47936
He walked slowly through people who were complimenting him, waving their hands and saying that he wasn’t as great as they think. Believing that Lady Lieselotte would be outside the party, he was sure she would be okay and kept looking for Princess Sunday, smiling slightly. She must be here somewhere… I can’t give up now…
Comment ID #47937
*Agamemnon leans to a nearby wall and silently observes the party*
A party to honour a knight. How wonderfully dull
*He sighs and continues his silent observation*
Comment ID #47938
The princess sat atop her smaller, less magnificent throne at the front of the festival with a dulled look upon her face. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, but she simply didn’t feel into the festivities. Her shining Knight Lord Makar was yet nowhere to be seen, and her wish to enter the grounds and search for him was far overruled by her fathers wish to have her sit with him and act as the noble princess she was supposed to be. She sighed softly, trying not to let her feelings show, keeping a gentle smile upon her face, and a kind disposition to all who glanced her way.
Please… Find me soon and give me reason to leave this pedestal dear Makar…

On another universe… the magic of The wheel of fortune turns The chariot upside down, while The moon shines over The star revealing it’s effect.
The star plans to curse a player of it’s choice, will The moon destroy The star?
(Hannibal, destroy Agamemnon’s card?)
The wheel of fortune moves to another universe…

*She stares at the man who approached her and raises an eyebrow* Lucy? Sir, I do believe you are mistaken, I am Lady Lieselotte. *She stands and begins to walk off*

Being the kind of person that he is, Hannibal could be found at a nice tavern a short distance away from the main festivities attended by the local royalty. With a drink in one hand and a young beauty in the other, Hannibal is rather enjoying himself; laughing and joking with others while getting a nice buzz going.

*Notices David talking to him*
Oh, yes I was just planning to stay the night, I wasn’t aware that such a festival was going on, may I inquire as to why? The harvest shouldn’t be for weeks, and I know of no religious holiday of recent days.

*Notices Lieselotte moving away from the weird jester Agamemnon creeps closer*
“Problems milady?”

Well the new knight, Lord Makar, braved through many challenges and dangers on his quest to obtain the fabled sword of light.
When he returned alive with the sword, he instantly became famous and the king called for this festival.
*Dave smiles and begins to laugh* He did all the hard work and now we get to party.

Carter watches her walk away for a few second, then catches up with her.
“Do you want to hear a joke, Lucy?” he offers, but begins before she could answer. “What’s big, strong, and can’t be destroyed?”
Comment ID #47952
None that you can help. *While speaking her fangs can be clearly seen, her vampiric affliction obvious.* Just this man mistaking me for another. *She ignores Carter, and continues to walk along the edge of the party, peeking into the crowds for the Lord*

With some effort, the Lord could finally reach the throne room, but before he could have sight of the Princess, he feels that Lady Lieselotte is in trouble and stands in the same place with concern in his mind.
I’m so close to finally meet Princess Sunday after all this time, but it feels like something bad may happen to Lieselotte…
He stood there, moveless, worried of what should he do.

The moon backs off from The star, allowing it to cast it’s curse on Sean, and leave this universe as well afterwards…
(Sean has been cursed
By the way, the moon won’t identify any more cards, and may only opt to destroy any other card still in the universe)

*Notices the Jester bothering the Lady and begins to move out of the shadow to inform the fool of his bothering of the lady. The swift movement of cat with large ears halts the movement, and after consideration, he melts back into the shadow and watches*

Carter considers McCardell’s warning, but decides to continue following Lucy. However, he does not finish his joke, waiting for her recognition before he delivers the punchline.

*Seeing the conversation as over, Herald simply walks away from David.*
What horrible timing, with so many people it will be hard for me to find an inn now. Perhaps I should meet the king and take advantage of my diplomatic powers… *Sigh* But no I suppose that would be counter-productive. If I must I shall sleep outdoors tonight. I simply must meet this Lord Makar however.

*Agamemnon backs off of Lucy noticing that she clearly can handle herself*
Very well milady.
*He turns back to walk off back to his vantage point when he bumps into a member of the royal guard (at least judging from the uniform he’s wearing) holding two pints at the same time*
Excuse me sir. It’s a bit hard to manoeuvre with all these people around.
Ugh… There’s too many people around here…

A glint of light flashes off some armour in the distance. Sunday’s eyes bolt open wider as her attention is drawn immediately
Makar?!
Her hopes died immediately however, as the glint was gone, and so too was whatever had made it. Her excitement fell back to mere bemusement as she slid back into her chair a little.
“Father… When might you call upon the good knight to approach you? I…”
She paused, knowing it improper to insinuate that she longed to see the man
“I wish to see the Sword of Light. It sounds like it would be beautiful.”
Comment ID #47964
Don’t worry daughter, I’m going to let them celebrate a while longer before I call Lord Makar. I’ll make sure you can see that sword closely.

Deliliah is having a wonderful time at the party, the many beads on her outfit clicking with her movements. She always enjoys bringing joy to others with her dances, and tonight is no exception, the agile cat’s heels clicking against the ground as she steps, her loose red outfit rippling around her. While she no longer feels for Lord Makar as she once did, she does want to look her best for him… but more importantly for Albert, who she knows must be around here somewhere. She hasn’t managed to catch more than a glimpse of either yet, but she does manage to catch a glimpse of the noble vampire Lucy, and shoots a too-cheerful smile at her. But soon the crowd moves so she loses sight of the white furred feline, and Deliliah begins to make her way slowly towards the end of area where the king sits, hoping to at least see Lord Makar when he is honored by the king, and sure that Albert will be there as well.

I like your hair Lucy, when did you cut it that way?

I suppose that this Lord Makar will find himself in the castle eventually. This type of party will involve some sort of ceremony with the king I’m sure. If I make my way there I may get to meet him them.
