Makar notices the doors are locked as he pushed them.
Comment ID #52597
She angrily scans the walls for a way to climb up.
I don’t know what is going on, but I’m going in there to put an end to this. Good people have died, and my patience is getting very thin.

(Lieselotte wall hacker!! Lol you edited.)
Comment ID #52600
Dave looks to McCardel.
Do you see an alternate way in?
Comment ID #52601
Makar step back, guided his shield back to his back and held his sword with both hands.
Let’s see if those gates are resistent…
He jumped and guided his sword vertically between the gates.
Comment ID #52604
The sword hits something as it slides between the doors, a loud clicking sound can be heard from the inside. The gates are still closed shut… what could this click mean?
Comment ID #52605
To Delilah.
…You have a point; the only people killed were by bandits, or accidental….Come to think of it, I could never make any sense as to why her mother was executed over such a minor offense in the first place…
Turns his attention back to the gate after the click.

What are we doing here? What has Reinhild done? She shook the king around a little, and bluffs around a lot, but what damage has she really done? I will not attack someone who hasn’t attacked me first.
(FYI, something about her backstory will tie into Icarus’s, but don’t start second-guessing.)
Comment ID #52609
I don’t care if she hasn’t done anything to directly really harm anyone, people have died because we came out here in the first place. That’s more reason to me to spill her blood then any if people have died through a bad joke. I am not leaving here until I spill some blood.
She begins to claw furiously at the door.
Comment ID #52610
Minutes after the click, the castle gates start to open.
Comment ID #52611
Makar turns to Delilah.
Don’t forget that dragon wounded me and Lieselotte seriously. Maybe that Deinhild didn’t killed one of us because she just hadn’t the chance.
He turned to the open gates and entered, keeping his eyes open for any traps.
Comment ID #52614
Dave notices the doors opening and follows Makar. He talks in a sarcastic manner.
How nice of her to invite us in.
Comment ID #52615
Just as Makar takes a step in, a giant dark hand suddenly pops out of the castle, knocking Makar and Dave back outside. The hand opens it’s fist, and on it’s palm appears a huge eye, that spies on the party.
Comment ID #52616
Unphased by the giant eye, she attempts to stab it with her claws.
Comment ID #52617
He shoots the hand in the eye
Comment ID #52618
The hand closes its eye everytime someone attempts to attack it, fully protecting it from harm. Outside of that reaction, the hand is pretty much ignoring everyone, and continues observing whenever it has the chance.
Comment ID #52619
“WOAH!” Carter jumped at the shadow-fist and instinctively drew the blade that Icaras gave to him. Wanting to help the party, he joined Lucy in her stab, although his closed eyes revealed his fright.
“What is it?” He opened his eyes to see that the hand was still there.
Comment ID #52620
She jumps on the hand and tries to both claw and bite it.
Comment ID #52621
Makar got up, feeling a light pain in the back, and looked at the eyed hand, frowning.
Ugh! Now what? I’m already tired of your games, Reinhild!
He jumped towards the eye of the hand and prepared his sword to stab it.
Comment ID #52622
Dave gets up, now angry.
I’m not going to let some hand beat me down!
He charges with his axe.
Comment ID #52623
All attacks to the hand seem to be uneffective. The eye continues inspecting the party, and stops when it notices Plinius. It rapidly moves its fingers, and lunges forward with a blinding speed, grabbing Plinius and pulling him into the castle. The hand moves so fast it knocked down anybody nearby.
As the hand retracts, another one comes out at the same time, and gazes at the party in the same manner.
Comment ID #52624
Frustrated, he pulls a vial of oil out of his cloak and lights a bolt on fire
“everyone just… just get back”
He shoots the hand with the flaming bolt.
Comment ID #52625
((So wait, was Lieselotte who was basically riding the hand at the time since she was on top of it, gnawing it, get pulled in as well?))
Comment ID #52627
*POW!*
Carter was to slow to react to the hand’s lunging, which connected hard and left Carter reeling on the floor, heavily dazed.
Comment ID #52629
(No, Lieselotte fell too)
Comment ID #52630
She jumps on the hand again and begins to furiously attack it again.
Comment ID #52631
The fire bolt hits the hand, but it just bounces off it. However, it leaves some oil on the eye area, making it unable to open its eye again. Unable to see, the hand just starts flailing around.
Comment ID #52632
Delilah dances backwards, skipping back away from the door even though she was in the back as things were. Albert stands in front of her protectively, drawing his sword in a fluid motion and standing in a defensive position in front of his mate, ready to strike the hand if it comes within his reach.
Comment ID #52633
Creates a light shield and moves back.
Fallback!
We need a plan.
Comment ID #52634
I’m getting in there one way or another.
She wraps her arms around one of the fingers and digs her claws in deep.
Comment ID #52636
(This post has what happened right after Plinius was taken.)
Makar got up once more, staring at Plinius while he is pulled into the building.
Plinius!!
When he tried to enter, the other hand bashed on him and he fell backwards. Get got up and steped back.
This is really bad…
He kept watching as Lieselotte attacks the blinded hand.
(Damnnit!! I have to go now! It’s really late here and I have work tomorrow. Makar will be always in the front line of the group, taking really care for any traps, warning the others and asking them to do what he thinks would be necessary to solve the problem by hand signs. During fights, he’s going to counter-attack rather than simply attack first, but if necessary he’ll make use of combo attacks, taking advantage of every impulse and retreat he does to hit the foe again and again and will try to defend Lieselotte when she needs.)
(People who can control him: Narrator Hebs, Lady Lieselotte, Delilah, Albert, Dave, Sean and McCardell, in that order of importance.)
Comment ID #52637
Now motivated to rescue his friend Plinius, Dave steps back from the out of control hand and yells to Lieselotte.
Try opening up it’s eye lid so we can have a chance to attack the eyeball!
Comment ID #52638
During one of its random flailings, the hand accidentally hits Albert, knocking him aside and far from Delilah, its movement so fast he couldn’t react. The hand now stops moving, and aims for the spot where it felt the impact. It launches forward, and grabs Delilah. It shakes a bit, in order to get rid of Lieselotte, and retracts into the castle, taking Delilah as well.
Comment ID #52644
Delilah screams loudly as she is snatched up by the hand, reaching behind her and tugging at her sash, pulling out that knife and driving it forcefully into the hand as she vanishes into the darkness. Albert skids several feet, his sword skittering away from him. At Delilah’s scream, he moves forward to snatch up his sword, yelling out his mate’s name.
Delilah!
Comment ID #52647
While the hand is preoccupied he slips past into the palace
Comment ID #52649
“What, where am I?” Carter mumbles under his breathe. HE shakes off his dizziness in time to find Delilah dragged off into the castle.
“…NO WAY!!!” Carter jumped on his feet and grabbed his sword. With a piercing shout, he charged the hand that took her, trying to avoid any other hands to reach her.
Comment ID #52651
Once both hands are inside, the doors slam themselves. They’re closed shut once again, and McCardell now trapped inside. A few seconds after, Plinius’s and Delilah’s screams can be heard from within the castle.
Comment ID #52652
((W/e I’m just gonna play Mario or something. Delilah can auto-play me for now))

“GOD DAMMIT!” Carter clenched his teeth and began to shake. He screamed and furiously hacked at the door blocking their path, going in between the doors several times like Makar has.

((HEBS you are running a fucked up thing.))

(I said long ago that the system was discarded completely.)
No clicking sound can be heard this time when Carter slides the sword between the doors.
Comment ID #52661
He walks forward, towards where the screams are heard. Oh look. It’s Reinheild. He shoots her in the head. She doesnt have time to scream
I mean. What. That didn’t happen.
Yes it did.

He gritted teeth as he hears Reinhild’s laughter, taking his sword and his shield.
This time she MADE it!!
He bashed the gates with his shield, still pushing them.
