He must be off hunting…
The dancer says to herself, shaking her head, before deciding to go back to comfort Princess Sunday now that she’s had her say with Lord Makar.
(Anyone who is awake can feel free to bump into her)

Sees Delilah and decide to walk up to her, now smiling even more then before
Hey sweetie glad to see you’re awake.
Holds onto Delilah’s hand
So how are you doing today?
Comment ID #50325
Albert! I was wondering where you were.
Delilah smiles as he grasps her hand, leaning into his arm, but her smile fades after a moment.
Not so good… you remember last night, seeing the Princess and Lord Makar kissing by the fire? Well, apparently after that… he went off and decided that he wanted Lady Lieselotte after all! Isn’t that terrible?
I thought it was all over too… but I think they’re going to be unhappy the whole trip! We should make them work it out!
Comment ID #50328
((Will assume Lily has been comforting etc while Delilah yelled at Makar))
The princess had finally managed to calm down, drying her eyes with Lily’s help while drinking some of her herbal tea. When Delilah approached, she had a more convincing smile on her face. She also saw Albert arrive, and giggled a little as he didn’t seem to notice her standing behind him as he called to the dancer.
“I’m glad you two hit it off so well”
She piped up unexpectedly from behind the warrior.

I don’t think we would be able to help them that much Dear.
They’ve had enough trouble on their own and I think Makar’s started to make up his mind-
Stops talking as soon as Princess Sunday apears. He then rubs the back of his head and blushes a little at her remark
Hehe yeah thanks.
I’m…
I’m sorry things aren’t working out so well for you though Princess.
(tsk tsk Lily. We expected better of you
)

Delilah turns a bit red, but leans against the warrior’s chest, smiling over at the princess.
Yes, so are we!
Her ears droop a little at Albert’s words.
Yes. I had a talk with Lord Makar though, don’t worry! I’m sure he’ll make up his mind soon and explain himself better!
The dancer squeezes her boyfriend’s hand a bit harder.
You two looked so cute together last night… I’m sorry he took your words about being happy for him no matter what the wrong way. Men…
She shakes her head.
You’d better remember what “I’ll be happy for you no matter what” means Albert! *hugs his arm very possessively*
Comment ID #50333
The princess mimic’s Albert’s motions in response to Delilah’s words.
“I’ve made up my mind though. If I can prove that I can be useful to lord Makar in a fight. Maybe he will start to like me more”
She made a determined motion, smacking her fist into her palm.
“If I just sit back and cry, I’ll never win his heart. If it has to be a competition, then I have no choice but to try and win.”
Though her words were chosen carefully, it seemed almost rehearsed. To be honest, Sunday was terrified of the idea. She couldn’t bring herself to kill. And she certainly wasn’t a battle mage. All she knew were self defense white magic’s and healing spells.

Kisses Delilah on her head, being so much taller then her
I’ll try my best not to.
But I’m sure you could always remind me if I forget *chuckles*.
Looks at Sunday witha colder glare now. He then passes her one of his throwing knives
You know theres always a difference between murder and protection. Trying to prove something to Makar or not you shouldn’t have that fear, even if you are a Princess.
Puts his arm around Delilah and hugs her
Sometimes you should prove to yoursef what you can do with your courage.

Delilah shivers a little at the kiss on her head, wrapping her arms around his chest. After he passes his knife to the princess, she presses her face against his chest, then turning a little to look at the princess, her ears back a bit.
You’re brave. I don’t know that I could kill someone. *shivers a little at the thought, squeezing the warrior* But… I don’t think you’re useless. When we fought those bandits, all I did was shriek and hide, and they had to pass me around to keep me safe. You actually helped him!
Don’t… don’t die, okay? I like you, and I think Lord Makar does too. *blushes* I don’t mean I like you LIKE Lord Makar does, but I mean… we’d both be very sad if you died.
Delilah loosens her grip on Albert and walks over to put her hand on the princess’s shoulder.
You sure you’re okay? You sound… *she tilts her head, trying to find the right word*
Comment ID #50336
The princess takes the knife and holds it close to her chest, looking slightly concerned. She listens to Delilah as she tries to encourage her, but caution her at the same time. It’s true that this was very dangerous, and the chance of death was very high…
“I don’t want to take a life… It goes against everything I’ve ever believed in… Every time I see someone cut down by Makar’s sword, I feel sorrow. But I know that if not for his own conviction in his blade, then it would not be safe for people like me.”
Her hands tremble as she holds the knife in her fists, her knuckles growing white under the white fur. She stares intently at the end of the hilt.
“I will do what it takes… Even if I have to sacrifice that part of myself to do it…”
Comment ID #50338
Delilah gives the princess a very careful hug, then steps back to Albert.
Just remember… if you die, then he can’t be with you! And you wouldn’t want to make his decision that easy, now would you?
She tries to laugh, but it dies pretty quickly, and her face turns grim.
Please… I really do mean I don’t want you to die. And that other warrior - I forget his name - is nowhere near the healer you are. I don’t think the lady would even be moving today if it wasn’t for you, and Lily… she might have died. If you get hurt, we might not be able to help you. I said I don’t want to see anyone else die, and I meant it.
The feline dancer looks up at Albert, as if wanting to ask him something.

Notices Delilah looking at him
Well Princess I guess all I can say is that I hope you do what you think is right in the end.
Just remeber theres always yourself to think about here.
Walks of with Delilah and sits down by the unlit campfire
Did you want to talk to me about something?
Comment ID #50342
She nods her head, then looks around to make sure no one is close enough to overhear before leaning up next to his ear and whispering.
I want you to talk to Lord Makar and make sure he knows what she is going to do. I’m scared she’s going to die.
She is visibly shaken, apparently having held herself back a bit when conversing with the Princess; there’s a bit of a tremor in her voice.
I’m worried about you too, you know. I know you’re as skilled a warrior as Lord Makar, but… *she hugs him around the neck* I don’t want to lose you either.
She then leans back a little, and asks
What were you going to say before she showed up?
Comment ID #50343
Sunday nods slowly, trying to take everything in as they explain the gravity of the situation to her.
“I don’t want anyone to die either. I promise. I’ll fight with everything I have to make sure that I don’t die. And that goes for the two of you ok?”
She carefully places the dagger in the sash around her waist, making sure that it is positioned so that it can’t accidentally stab her. She waves a little as the two walk away to go talk in private, sitting down on a log and looking about, now too awake to sleep, but since Lily appeared to be resting, she no longer had anyone to talk to. For the moment, she decided to focus on making sure the wards that she had helped place around the camp were still working, by using her magic to check up on them.

Alberts voice starts to break up. like the time he admited his feeling to Delilah. He took a few deep breaths and finally replied to her
Most people would agree with me but Lord Makar seems a much happier with Lady Lieselotte.
He says he cares more for Princess Sunday but I once said they should date and he couldn’t stop blushing. I just think it’s a shame that something like this would happen to him.
He a good man but he’s stuck between to very different women.
Burys her head into his chest as he hugged her
But you shouldn’t worry about either of us.
I can take care of myself as much as anyone else here.
Plus I’ve always got you here to keep me going.

Delilah rubs her face against his chest, snuggling up against his chest, her voice a bit muffled as she strokes his back with her hands.
I don’t care what Lord Makar chooses…
I liked him. I thought I wanted to marry him. And every time I saw him with the princess or Lady Lieselotte, it hurt. *she twists a little, obviously uncomfortable* I don’t want to see them the same way. No one deserves to feel that way. He knows, but he…
The smaller cat shifts against Albert, pressing her fingers into his fur.
I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be talking about this with you. It probably hurts to hear it, and you don’t deserve that either. You’re my knight, even if you don’t have a title, and I’m sorry if you feel like I doubt your ability, because I know you are…
She quivers, falling silent.

Albert does feel a little sting in his chest when Delilah says this but then thinks back to something Dave had once said
Theres nothing wrong with how you felt for him.
He used to be the one who was there for you. But now I’m here and he has his own things to deal with. Maybe all we can do for him now is give him support and hope he can make things work out.
Albert stands up and holds out his hand to Delilah
Want to take a walk for a while?

Delilah yawns a little, looking obviously tired, but she smiles and rises, taking his hand.
Sure, we can take a walk. But we should probably go to sleep soon… we’re probably going to have to travel in the morning.
The dancer looks up at the sky for a few moments with a quiet sigh, before looking back to Albert and walking out of the camp with him, gazing into his eyes.
Comment ID #50353
(Yeah, but i’m not sure what I could do that would fit the situation.)
Sounds of thick thuds can be heard around the camp. Carter, a small distance away from the group, is repeatedly hitting his newly found sword against a tree, practicing his strikes. The cut marks from the tree tell the story of his technique - random, with mostly stabs and a few slices across the bark. The letters “C + L” can be barely noticed among the slashes.
Comment ID #50361
Having woken up with the intent on practicing his archery, he couldn’t help but notice the Jester’s inexperience with a blade.
Hi there. I could teach you a few techniques with the sword and spar with you if you want.
Comment ID #50370
Carter glances at sean for a split second, taking a moment to observe him in detail. he turns back to the tree and plants the sword as hard as he can into it. for a few seconds it stays, but eventually it falls to the mossy patch next to it, leaving a deep cut in the center. He picks up the sword quickly and turns to face Sean more properly.
“Ok, but not the face,” he sounds worried about even trying to fight.
Comment ID #50385
Don’t worry, I’ll even dull the blades with a spell so that we don’t kill each other.
Starts out slow, but over time increases their pace and the difficulty of each technique; from basic stances to parrying and lunges.
Good, how about we take a break.

Comment ID #50395
Carter’s skills increase greatly over the course of the day, not to perfection, but enough that he should be able to fend for himself…However after an earlier well placed hit to the groin, Sean was forced to leave him to continue on his own.
…..
Alright, now that I can walk again I may as well try my hand at hunting some Deer again.
Heads off with renewed determination, but with a soreness that won’t be gone for a little while longer.

(Sorry for being absent for so long, but this post has my compensation.)
He stood there reflecting even when Delilah walked away. A few minutes of mental conflict were enough to enrage the knight once more, making him take out his sword and his shield. He jumped and slashed the tree he was laying. The sword got stuck in there and Makar sat down once more.
How could I do this with them?! How will I be able to face them after what I did?! … Have to choose between Sunday or Lieselotte… I just can’t do this…
Makar got back his weapons and started to walk from a side to the other, thinking on what should he do, unable to take the concern and the guilty out of his face.

@Icarus
(Lord Makar’s choice of Lady Lieselotte over the Princess hurt the Princess deeply and both Lily and Delilah tried to comfort her. Albert and Delilah went off to discuss their feelings for each other and her fear of Albert and the other’s deaths. They convinced the Princess she may need to kill in self-defense, much to her dismay.
Everyone went off on their own/are asleep. Carter was attempting to improve his skills, so Sean joined in and helped him train. After a hit to the groin, he left Carter to continue his training. Lord Makar just returned and is torn between Princess Sunday and Lady Lieselotte. Sorry if I missed anything, but that should be the jist of it for now.)

I’m glad that we we’re able to do this.
It’s good to get away from the quest for a while. especially with whats happening to Makar.

Delilah, for her part, is happy to remain silent in the woods, holding Albert’s hand happily, stroking his palm with her fingers, having run out of things to say and wanting to enjoy the moment. However, reality reintrudes what feels like all too soon, even though they’ve been gone for quite some time, and she nods to him and gives him a hug.
Yes… its important, and he might see it as me telling him what to do. It seems like he’s already getting enough of that.
Stands up on her tip-toes to give the warrior a nuzzle.
Go talk to him, then we won’t have to worry about it, at least. And if we tell him before we have to leave, then it will be less likely Princess Sunday will overhear it.

Off in the woods, he’s been tracking a Deer for awhile now. Once he spots the Deer an arrow is slowly drawn back. After his past mistakes, he has realized that he needs to take his time with this shot…The arrow is realeased and makes a clean hit through it’s heart, dropping it instantly.
I did it!
Albert won’t be dissapointed today.
His excitment is cut short by a loud rustling closeby…He immediately switches out his bow for his shield and sword.

Good to see you, Sean. Follow me. We might need help.
When the noises seemed to get closer, they face three bandits, two were wearing high quality armors and the other seemed to be a scout.
Lord Makar made a sign with his hand to everyone hide. Listening to their conversation, Makar make another sign to everyone stay silent. The scout started to talk with one of the elite bandits; the one with a bandanna and a scar in his eye.
- They seems to be off guard now… so an ambush during their sleep doesn’t seems to be a bad idea.
- Yes, but they’re tough preys. Did you saw when they killed that dragon? I don’t think even I would be able to such thing…
The other elite bandit, a large dog, called his comrade’s atention, pushing the scout aside.
- I know! Let’s kill one by one during this night while they’re asleep!
- Too predicable… and it’s not everyone who is asleep. If we get spotted, we’re screwed.
The scout called both’s atention.
- I’ll do it myself… err… you two can prepare an ambush in the middle of the way to make sure?
The two elite bandits faced each other and smirked, speaking at the same time:
If he fail, it’s not my problem.
They ran away untill they couldn’t be seen anymore. The scout started to stalk towards the camp.
Lord Makar made another sign, asking to Dave step in front of the scout to scare him and to Sir Icarus knock him down from behind when he stay off guard. Then, he sighed to Sean prepare a fire magic if the plan fails.
The scout is getting near Dave’s hideout.
