She stops upon her realization that he is not following her.
I’m not leaving you alone out here with more bandits around here. You either come with me, or I stay here.
She walks back to him and stands beside him, arms crossed. It doesn’t look like she’ll be moving anytime soon.

“Are we there, yet?” Carter asked Delilah as he wiped his face with his jester hat. He thinks he probably trained too much last night and is still too fatigued to properly walk for so long.

Makar gritted teeth and faced back the Lady.
Okay, help me to find the trial of marked trees!
He stared at the trees once more, looking for any mark.
Comment ID #50498
(Oh. Well, it was a bit confusing. Assume I’m with the others.)
Comment ID #50499
As the knight moves into the denser trees, the feeling of heat lessens, leaving him feel only warm around the collar, the light dropping a bit.
Comment ID #50503
((So is he a vampire or not? I need to know so I can react accordingly. I didn’t intend on turning him yet, nor do I believe his player intended for him to be one yet.))
Comment ID #50504
(No, I don’t. Not the fitting time.)
Comment ID #50505
(If he is a vampire could you have accidentally turned him and are thus unaware?)

Back at camp Dave had finished gathering party members and supplies.
Alright, is everybody ready to go back to Makar?
Comment ID #50507
The dancer slows her pace, as well as that of the warrior, so the tired jester can catch up with them. She looks over at him, a little frightened.
Lord Makar thinks we’re going to be ambushed by those bandits from before. We’re supposed to collect our stuff, then head off after him.
She squeezes her hand tightly on Albert’s, uncomfortably so, without noticing what she’s doing, a worried feeling in the pit of her stomach as the group emerges back into the camp, seeing the rest of the party working on gathering their belongings.

Grabs his scales, his rapuer and throwing knives, Sean’s Cloak, and a batch of wine
I’ve got everything I brought with me.
Need any help with your suplies Delilah?
Comment ID #50510
Using her keen eyesight, she is able to easily see the marked tress. She soon takes lead, keeping her claws at the ready for any attackers.
So have you thought about what I asked of you Makar? I may have been emotional yesterday, but I did mean it. I need to know if you will join me in immortality or not, and I need to know before this adventure concludes.
She continues to look for the marked trees, but her serious tone says what her facial expressions cannot.

Delilah lets go of Albert’s hand as he goes to collect his things, the dancer herself having little laid out beyond her beads, which she begins to drape around herself, her skirt a little rumpled from earlier, but not having time to change into a new one. She doesn’t have much laid out, and rather quickly collects her blanket and stuffs it into her bag before putting it on her back.
No, I’m okay. I didn’t bring too much, and most of it was already in my bag.
She shakes her head, then begins running back in the direction of Lord Makar.
Comment ID #50512
(Well that didn’t work at all. Grabbed my Rapier ((not rapuer)) and It’s Albert
Comment ID #50513
(Lieselotte, notice Makar’s heat lessens when he moves into the trees, and therefore into shade and away from sunlight. At this point, I think you may have accidentally turned him, although I doubt it’ll kill him. It’s just a phase I’m sure all newly-made vampires go through.)
“I’m ready to collapse!” Carter began to complain out loud for the first time on this adventure. His pouting face tells everyone that he was never really fit for an adventure.
Comment ID #50514
(He is in the process of turning, the characters are still unaware… but yeah, it was accidental. I’m gonna explain why he is transforming, and why he doesn’t get to enjoy the same qualities as Lieselotte; but right now I have to get going. I promise I will give you a good reason for it.)
Comment ID #50516
Draws out his Rapier and starts walking a few steps ahead of her
I don’t want you getting hurt so please be careful.
But I’m sure you could take care of yourself *winks*
And come on Carter we all need to get going unless you want to be left alone for the Bandits to find.
Comment ID #50517
((But the characters didnt want that…
Well, i guess its their fault for not practicing safe se- kissing.))
Comment ID #50519
Delilah smiles back at the warrior, moving forward to grab him around the waist, not passing up on the opportunity to be a bit silly as they walk.
But I’m so defenseless! I wouldn’t want to be left all alone with these deadly bandits around.
She titters, but there’s a tinge of nervousness to her voice, obviously not forgetting the situation but trying to put a bright face on things.

Makar stuned suddenly and called Dave.
Dave! Call the others. I found it. We’re going right now.
With no second thoughts, the knight started to follow the trial of marked trees.
(Sorry if it looks bad. I was in a hurry.)

(Awww gotta go autoplay now. Hope things clear up before I get back, but nothing too exiting
.
Tactics stay the same)
Comment ID #50525
Ok all of you heard that, we’re going back to Makar right now. Come on, we have to hurry.
Dave begins running toward the sound of Lord Makar’s voice.
Comment ID #50529
Albert and Delilah pass by Carter again, then slow. Delilah looks back at him, letting go of her boyfriend, who stops after a few paces and watches.
I know you’re tired, but you’re going to need to keep walking. I’ll try to get them to slow down, but we need to catch up with them first. Come on…
She curls her hand at Carter, trying to encourage him onwards as the trio make their way at Carter’s pace - perhaps a bit faster than he’d like - towards the rest of the group.

Hmm, what’s this?
The paladin notices something odd on the ground (an object) and picks it up.
*I better keep this for later.*
(I don’t know what the item will be yet, but I have a few ideas. Also, nobody else noticed this, since Icarus is at the back of the group as of now.)

She sighs to herself at his very obvious attempts to avoid the question.
He’ll have to answer me before we fight Rhinehild. If he doesn’t, it just proves he’s been toying with me all along.
She seems slightly crestfallen now, though she does her best to hide her doubts, continuing along the hidden path.

((Seriously? I’m running my ass ragged trying to keep up with this thing, going to bed at 1am and trying my best to get up at like 6 - 7 because Hebs is most active while I sleep and in the early morning, while freezing my ass off, and throwing up from being sick… And I wake up to ‘Accidental Vampire Makar’? This is my reward for trying so hard to make this thing work?

Delilah and Albert eventually catch up with the rest of the group a fair bit behind Dave, having slowed down to allow Carter to keep up with them. Spying Lord Makar, she dashes up to him ahead of the pair.
Lord Makar! Lady Lieselotte! He can’t keep up. *gestures at the visibly winded Carter* If you keep rushing like this, you’ll leave him behind for the bandits, all by himself!
Puts her hands on her hips, pursing her lips.

“There is little chance that Lord Markar would lower his pace, however if your concern for the jester is that great I have and will continue a watch over him and the others whose feet are not as swift”

Makar looks back to Delilah and Carter.
… Okay… Let’s slow down a little.
Said that, he turns his atetion to Lieselotte, lowing his weapons a little. He started to wisper.
I will not let him bother you, don’t worry.
He knew changing the subject was useless, but he had no mental conditions to answer her question, since he started to remember the thirst for blood all the vampires have… at least he thought that was the reason for his delay.
(Just a moment and I’ll get going with this, ok? Still today I’ll finish this.)

She sighs and slows down.
Please do so, the trail is getting difficult to make out and I need to keep my focus to continue making out the marks. We still need to keep up a strong pace, the slower we move the greater the possible dangers.

Delilah nods gratefully to the leaders as the group slow their pace to allow Carter to keep up with them, Albert by her side looking around cautiously as he acts as a rearguard for the group, Delilah encouraging the exhausted jester along, trying to encourage him to pick up the pace as the party travels. She thinks to herself as the group travels, her focus mostly on keeping the group together.
For all her harshness, the Lady is willing to slow down for him. She’s not as cold and detached as she thinks she is.
These thoughts cheer her, making her smile despite their somewhat grim situation as she periodically snatches glances up towards the front of the party.

They saw them following their trail to the boss’ lair. The knight who finished the dragon previously was guiding them, along with that strange vampire and the barbarian dog. The leader of the two Elite Bandits arranged his bandanna and made a sign to his comrade. He answered and jumped on Lord Makar, grabbing him by the head while the leader disarmed him, throwing his equipment on Dave and Lieselotte.
The leader bandit waved his hand foward, making a “stop” sign.
One step and your leader will get rid of his headache, instead of just having it.
His comrade started to strangle the knight’s head, making him shout in pain and agony while grabbing the foe’s claw with both hands. It didn’t took more than a few seconds for the Lord to stop moving, unconscious.
Boss? I think I killed him… hah ha ha ha! Just kidding, kids! Nobody can stay awake for long when I do this, that’s all. Blood started to flow from Makar’s nose, leaving a little pool in the ground.
The leader grinned and turned his atention back to the group while his comrade placed the injured knight on his shoulder.
We’re taking him with us to make sure you guys know how to take care of yourselves without a leader. Said the leader bandit, showing a smoke bomb in his right hand.
Eat dust, scums! He shouted and let go of the bomb, making a dense smoke curtain that allowed them to quit the scene, leaving the Lord’s equipment.
(And that’s my excuse for “Why are you going to leave your character in auto mode for a whole week”!)

She coughs and tries to run through the smoke, calling out after the Lord.
MAKAR! MAKAR, WHERE ARE YOU!
She emerges from the smoke, glancing side to side for any sign of him. She tries to pick up his scent from his bleeding nose, but the scent of the thick black smoke is overpowering. In her panic, she runs off in the direction she thinks the bandits escaped in.
MAKAR!
