Hearing the coughs, she ran towards the source, not recognizing the voices. She finds one and grabs him, stabbing her claws into his back, slaying as she pulls them out with a fierce downwards motion. She stops to listen for the remaining bandits again straining her ears to listen.

By their surprise, the vampire lady killed one of them and Albert called a fight. The last two threw the knight away and started to throw fire bombs towards him, forgeting to watch their back.

Through the wisps and curls of the smoke she could make out the Lord and the bombs thrown at him, she’s overcome with panic as she tries to run across the clearing, but the distance is to great for her to cover before the bombs land.
Someone save Makar, QUICK!

Hearing the explosions and screams, he quickly finds the two bandits. After Lily eliminated the first, he charges with a shield bash. Knocking the last one over.
Over here!

Hm one would think during all this scuffling about Lily had some time to sneak ahead a little. I.. also think it’s about time she stopped cheating with the spells and got her hands a little dirty, stepping out onto the path ahead of the fleeing bandits who were nice and distracted now.
With a sudden and sharp motion she stabs her fist into one of the bandits backs, two fingers sticking out as he senses guide them to a vulnerable point in the spine. The figure suddenly freezing still in pain….shaking there for a few moments before crumbling to the ground.
(That.. is assume Lily pulls that little blow successfully…heh. Love flavor text don’t we?)
She stands perfectly still, hands at her back, eying the last disposable bandit a pitying look on her face, their leaders having long since escaped “There’s only one of you now. Do the sensible thing and surrender hm?”

Seeing everyone in such panic she also sees the the bombs falling to the ground.
Trying everything she can to keep the group safe she rushes toward the bombs, swirling and jumping around everyone as they are caught in their own issues.
She nears them she begins swirling around attempting to cause the wind around her to launch the bombs away from everyone.
Her legs get faster and harder to see moving as she tries all she can to stop them from reaching the ground and harming everyone.
Thinking she had done what she could she dashed faster then she has before as she ran towards Makar and spread her armsout blocking away anyone who would try and harm him.

The bash and the other injuries were enough to beat him, since he aknowledged of his failure and that he was the last one remaining.
You guys will take nothing from us. Our job is done for now, since your leader can’t even keep himself safe, so it’s just a matter of time ‘till the bloody end of your journey.
He grabbed two packs of fire bombs and blew himself up and burning everyone who was nearby, remaining nothing but a burned corpse.
(Battle won!!)
(Rewards: Lord Makar is back to the team and Leader Bandit is hightly injured&hellip![]()
(… However: Half (the ones who were fighting the bandits) of the group has burn injuries.)

She dashed underneath Delilah, and skidded to a stop beside Lord Makar. She looked him over, letting out a sigh of relief as she realized that he was still alive. She blocked out the people and the chaos around her as she sat above him, staring down at the good Lord.

The Hedgehog eyes go wide as the daft child decides killing himself over -this- was a wise idea. She shifts away best she can, covering what exposed skin there is with her robe as the blast sends her flying back to the ground, and further still into a roll… finally stopping on her stomach sitting up slowly, and smoking a good bit.
“… that was.. *cough* not something to die for…these people are.. -not- bandits..” She tosses her now ruined robe aside.. face and arms still a little burnt though it could have been worse she reasoned. Lily struggled back up after that gazing around.. and of course finding the Vampire already at Makars side it bringing that pitting looking to her face once more. She waves to Delilah and Sunday as she walks towards the two “.. come now.. lets see if we can get the poor boy back on his feet…”
(Think it’d be fair to wait for a few Sunday posts?)

This is bad… the boss is not going to be happy when she hear the news… She might try to kill me if I waste my time telling her that my comrade is dead along with her “special force”, whatever she called them.
He placed his hands on his neck and his chest.
I’m not going to be so lucky the next time… I need a better plan.
He kept running away deep into the woods, followed by the remaining bandits.

Glad to have you back Makar.

She stands up and pushes Delilah aside, furious at the rest of the group she starts to yell.
What were you all thinking!? You knew they had a blade to his throat and you all came as a big group anyways? I’ve been waiting here for nightfall so I could take them out and save him, and you all destroyed that plan. HE ALMOST DIED BECAUSE YOU COULDN’T THINK TWO STEPS AHEAD! Those of you with burns deserve them for for brash and foolish thinking, that was some of the poorest planning I have seen in my very many years.

Well thanks for the making sure we’re all feeling fine after risking our lives for Makar my Lady
So how many of those men did you kill?
One, maybe two if you count scratching at a often magically defended Leader.
You saw they weren’t going to let us just take him and there were way to many to take alone.
Begins walking back to camp, once again holding Delilah’s hand

I could have taken them all under the cover of night. You mortals are fools, had I been able to attack under the cover of night, I could have had them all dead before any could draw a blade. Your kind only ever attack head-on, it’s a brash strategy that only increases deaths and wounds. If Lord Makar had perished today because your desire to “be a hero” I would have taken your life as payment for the loss of his.

Albert scoffs at Lieselotte seeing how she’s acting arrogant
You saved Makar once but that doen’t mean you’ll always be able to.
Just remeber he wasn’t the only one in danger here. We risk our lives for people who are important to us just as much as you do.
And you are nothing like a vampire, even if you are royalty.
Vampires are souless, blood sucking, self-obbsessed, nightmares.
You care about people and though you’re souless you still have your soft-side. I’ve seen it so don’t deny it. Don’t say ‘your species’ when you are the exact same as what you claim to hate.

Lily sighed trying to focus on Makar for now. The lady was right in a ways…she admitted not looking up as she spoke “You are right in some ways my Lady… they were brash.. they were fool-hearty.. and impulsive. Desperate to save him.. their actions driven by the heart more or less… and I’m in just as much fault for not stepping in earlier…. ” the Hedgehog continued to do what she could for the Lord Makars burns… the knight having been quite close to the explosion as well after all… frowning as she found her own charms leaving light-burn marks wen they -should- be reducing the pain… what in the world was happening to him…?
She frowned speaking to the Vampire once again “….but you have no right. No right at all to raise your nose and pretend you’re above them. You are petty. You are Proud. You are bitter. You are stubborn and you are just as fool-hearty as every single one of them. Rushing off on your own again and again. As old as you are… all I seem to ever hear when you speak is a bickering whining child who always wants her way.”
The old hedgehog went silent again, no doubt leaving the Vampire angry. She rose her head finally “So..… are you going to prove me right by attacking me? Or yelling out more curses or how my mortality makes me wrong? Or running off on your own again?… Honestly I really hope not…” The mature woman smirked glancing down at Makar again.
“We’re all worried about him Child…..it’s only natural for you to be angry… just try to remember your own faults before pointing out others hmm? All this Bickering won’t help anyone”

(@Icarus: The other day, after Dave and my character ran off, we immediately returned after losing track of Lady Lieselotte. We then formulated a plan that involved a group of five people, including yourself. However you insisted you were still lost and said that you bumped into someone, so I figured someone would address that. The other players took the initiative to follow the rest of the group and probably missed your post in the massive wall of text. You just need to take the initiative and try to keep up, like you did towards the end of the fight. Again, I apologize that that happened to you. We all have had to adapt, edit, change, etc in order to keep this logical. Either way, sorry.)

She approaches him, her blood soaked figure now more intimidating then ever. She marches towards him, her claws still dripping with blood from the viciously slain bandits. She stepped over the shredded corpse of the one that drove her into an enraged state, staring at Albert all the while.
Would you like to see just how soulless I can be? I’ve held back on many of you because of Lord Makar, but your rash actions put him in danger. I am nothing like your kind, I don’t seek glory and reward for my actions.
She turns to the hedgehog addressing her now, a few short steps from Albert.
I have every right. Your kind have hunted mine for millenniums, I have every right to be petty and stubborn to mortals. You all only want me here to save your hides when your in danger, yet the only reason I would ever end up saving your hides is because you forget my experience that has kept me alive longer then the kingdom has existed.

Albert is now feeling more anger at how Lieselotte is acting and is finding harder not to start fighting her instead of her fighting him. He bats away at her claws and grabs her shoulder
You think I do?
I’ve spent most of my life helping people and never got ‘rewarded’ as much as you ever may have.
I want to keep Makar safe just as much as myself or even Delilah. I tried to keep things calm but things got out of hand and but I still tried all I could to help him.
And what did you do?
Sit there clawing and some random bandit and then get mad at us for wasting our time instead of keeping Makar safe.
I’ve thought dozens of ‘you kind’ and even if that doesn’t make me an expert it tells me that the way you act around him is nothing like how it normally should be.
Quit acting like what you ‘think’ you are and start acting like what you ‘know’ you are.
Go check up on the Lord, hell make out with him infront of everyone right now for all I care.
(Gotta go autoplay now. Guess Albert will just argue with Lieselotte then go to sleep. that is if she doesn’t rip his head off)

You want me to act like a “true vampire” then? You want me to kill anyone who gets in my ways, for me to indiscriminate between my allies and foes, then so be it. I’ll just kill everyone here, right now, and if any of you manage to slay the mad monster, then you can become a hero and be revered.
She glares now at everyone around her, very defensive now as her blood soaked figure watches all around her.
Because all vampires are monsters who shouldn’t have feelings. They cannot wed and bear children like humans because they only lust for blood. Because your kind knows so much through the fearful folklore passed down from your forefathers who passed the tales on assumptions of what they could not understand.

The princess’s body shook slightly as she stood frozen in place while the battle raged on. Why couldn’t she move? Her mind screamed at her limbs, but they stood frozen still. ‘Why… What is wrong with me…’ In the blink of an eye, it was all over. The fight had ended, and the bickering had begun. Many were wounded by their burns, and Lieselotte was on the war path, while the others defended their actions. Slowly, Sunday slid to her knees and dropped her bone staff, causing a loud thud sound as it bounced off an errant stone.
“Please… Everyone… The lady is right… It was brash. It was stupid. And it was my fault…” She spoke aloud as her body quivered. “If you wish to be mad at anyone lady Lieselotte, it should be me…”

Having finally caught up to the group, Icarus walks in right in the middle of Albert and Lieselotte’s fight.
Hey guys! Calm down! We need to plan our next move, not argue over our last one!

Lily sighed once again shaking her head, having a hard time stopping herself from face palming. “… the man didn’t MEAN you should act like a ‘true vampire’…..he meant you should just act as who you are. Stop using your fangs as an excuse for everything which is pretty much all you’ve been doing this entire trip…..I wont lie to you.. what you are is not something I’m comfortable with…..but….”
As the Princess spoke Lily couldn’t help but stop mid sentence looking the girls way with a sad frown. Walking over to her a hand reaching for the girls shoulder giving Icarus a dismissive wave “….you’re right…but give them a moment.. better they get this out of their systems now..”
(And darn it Sean let the ‘oh no he’s a vampire’ out of the bag. I purposely didn’t say one way or the other yet… not sure if we’re even capable of figuring that out this early)

In her rage, she ignores both Icarus and Sean, instead turning to the princess. She approaches her angrily, but not with the fury she had moments before. She stops inches from the princess and hisses out her words.
It was your fault. You should have had the most sense of all of these fools here, but it is obvious your sheltered life in the castle has effected any logical thinking in combat. Your attempts to win Makar’s affection are not only futile, but endangering his life. You should have stayed at the castle, you do not belong here.

Sunday winces painfully at Lieselotte’s words, each syllable like a dagger stabbing deep into her. “I’m sorry…” Her voice barely audible, almost choking on her own words. Her eyes stare intently at the ground in front of her, hardly even noticing Lily’s hand on her shoulder. A million thoughts raced through her mind at once. Maybe she SHOULD just quit and go back to the castle? Was she just dead weight to the group?
“I just wanted to help… I just wanted to save Makar…” Slowly she staggered to her feet and faced the vampiress directly. “Maybe it would be best if you just dealt with me now, and save yourself the trouble later.” Though her body shook, and tears welled in her eyes, she looked determined. Though it was impossible to tell if she even knew what she was asking at this point.

He started to dream about the day he met Lieselotte and replied out loud, recognizing the Lady’s last phrase.
I’m trying to help, miss… villagers, please listen… she’s not all you guys think… I’m sure of it… I’m an adventurer … which the mission is to retrieve the Sword of Light from a vicious beast… and take it back to the neighbor kingdom… as I said before.
He turned from a side to the other for a few seconds and proceeded.
Let’s make a deal… I’ll defeat this vampiress myself and free your village from the torment you say she brought to it, okay?
He yawned and finished.
Don’t worry… I’m not going to fight you… you seem to be more than what they said… my name is Makar… “Lady Lieselotte”? Can I just call you Lieselotte? Okay, okay… well… take care… hum… excuse me once more… would you mind to help me on my quest? I… am not sure if I can actually handle this… thanks…
He opened his eyes, staring at Lieselotte.
You… look… as fearsome… as in the day… we met… is this a nightmare? He asked with blank eyes, dizzy from the wounds.
I can’t… defend myself… where’s my shield?

Having vented her frustrations, she finally calms down. She wipes some of the blood from her face, but her sleeve being already soaked, it does very little.
If I killed you, I would be the monster your ignorant ancestors taught you I was. We are not the emotionless thoughtless fiends you believe us to be. To many no matter what I’ll be that monster, but being recognized as that monster is what infuriates me to begin with. I don’t care anymore what you do, what anyone does or thinks. Just know I’ll do what it takes to ensure the survival of me and those I can trust on to be my allies.

Sunday lowers her head as Lieselotte walks away from her ‘Not even worth dispensing with…’ She thinks silently to herself. Looking around the group, she decides that if she is to be of any help, she might as well start healing the wounded. “Do what you can for Makar Lieselotte… I’ll come help once I’ve stabilized the others. Their burns are severe.” She moved around the camp casting the same heal spell on the burn victims as she had on the lady previously, lessoning the burns to slight reddening of the skin with significantly less pain, and regrowing their singed fur. Once that has been dealt with, she makes her way over to where Makar lays and kneels beside him, gently placing a hand on his forehead.
“I sensed earlier that his life essence was tainted by a very powerful magic… It might be a curse of some sort, or maybe-” Her words were cut short, as all her fur stood on end, her hand slowly and cautiously hovering off his forehead. “It… It can’t be…” She turned to Lieselotte “You… You didn’t!” Betrayal filled her widened eyes as she stared at the Vampiress.

She stares at her questioningly, unaware of what is wrong. In the duration of her entire life, she had never infected a person and so, she does not recognize the symptoms.

After being thoroughly ignored as usual, Carter observed how the princess used her spells and her hands top mend the burns of the party. Curious, he looked to the only person to seem to give him respect, Delilah. He slowly walked to her side and, more awkwardly than suggestively, rubbed his hands against her ribs, attempting to mimic the Sundays healing spells.
