I can’t beleive I forgot to post on Canada day! Oh wel
. For any one who is wondrous ing about the “eh” thing, it’s kind of like how he Americans say huh, but sounds more polite. Realy, I started to Listen for it everyday life and we do say it more than I origonaly thought. Go figure.

Okay, so some of you are from Canada… but where exactly? Canada is huge!
I’m Canadian too, coming from Montreal. Glad to see a couple of other Quebecers here =3. I never stay in one place for long though, there’s so much so see in this awesome country! I’m currently near Toronto.
Btw Rasputin you say it was clean in TO? I’ve been to an anime convention in Toronto as well and the place was horribly dirty - Not one garbage can in sight so everyone through their shit anywhere they felt like it. The convention was of poor quality too, I much preferred the Animethon in Edmonton =P.
zeeunknownartist: Of course, poutine’s a staple, but so is their cheese curds. I wouldn’t buy cheese curds in any other province if my life depended on it - Those things taste nasty and stale and dry out of province! But yeah, I road tripped through the Maritimes this month and must say that NB was the least interesting… I didn’t get the chance to really explore it though because I was having issues with the camper van.
I say “eh” once in a while, and I’ve noticed how an out-of-city friend of mine uses the term thrice as much when he’s talking to farmers hahaha.
Oh and I’d like to take this moment to warn fellow travelers who plan on going to Laval and Montreal - Do NOT trust the drivers! Hell do not trust the traffic laws because most people don’t follow them and will run your @$$ over if you’re in their way. Frick. I have never had to deal with such incompetant, selfish, rude, apathetic fools anywhere else in Canada. They seem especially bad in Laval too (where I spent most of my life so far). Screw the sidewalk and traffic lights. Cross with haste when you think it’s kinda safe. Watch your toes on the corners of the street too - It’s not safe there =P.

Hey Montreal! The home of great smoked meat, bagels and lots of other good food. (We’re a rather food liking city)
I could meet you if I wanted to… does that sound slightly stalkerish, if so I apologize

Is it ok for people who MIGHT be Canadian to post here?
Comment ID #73651
people who aren’t candian have posted here so… yes.
Comment ID #73655
Oh? is our *Ninja a possible canadian?
Comment ID #73659
Syrup goes well with anything, but it must be the proper kind of syrup. 100% maple is the only acceptable standard and I prefer Grade A over Grade B, though it is a bit runny.
PEI and NB are nice. Beautiful coastlines and yet still out of the way enough to escape the hordes of tourists who annually descend upon anything interesting during the summer months, if you know where to look anyway. Never been all the way out to the West Coast though… Maybe sometime soon.
Comment ID #73660
summer months? in canada? i think you have the wrong country *ninja. in canada, we have 10 months of winter and 2 of hockey. no summer here…
Comment ID #73663
And I shall neither confirm nor deny any possibility of being Canadian. Or Peruvian for that matter.
Comment ID #73665
Yes there is summer in Canada. It is the rare time you can walk outside without three sweaters and a heavy coat on and still feel comfortable. Do you live inland by any chance?
Comment ID #73668
actually, i walk around in just pants when its -7C out… i don’t need a sweater couse i’m acclimatized
also, i live just south of the Hudson bay
Comment ID #73669

You’re farther North. You honestly do have no summer. Sucks to be you I guess. ![]()
Comment ID #73679

He is actually in New Zealand, but you probably haven’t realized that he’s gone, since his double is very talented. You might have guessed by now that I’m actually not Canadian, however.

I have grown tired of pretending to know who this Ninja-wanna-be is, just as I have grown tired of pretending to be Canadian. I bid you a courteous and sincere farewell.
May all the stars in heaven guide you as you walk the night.
