Makar tries his best to move from the trap, uselessly.
Now things got complicated…
He tried to use his sword to slice the trap and set himself free. After listening to Delilah, he replied.
With the sword! I thought about that already, but I’m trapped!

Lord Makar July 2, 2010, 12:33 AM EST.

Comment ID #53123

She grins as she backs away from Reinhild, still blocking the path to Makar.

That’s right, your Soul Press won’t work on me, and I’ll guard Makar to the death if I have to.

Standing a few feet in front of Makar now, she speaks in a softer tone to him.

Your soul is not the only one I have to defend. Now free yourself from those webs somehow, and we’ll take her down, together.

Lady Lieselotte July 2, 2010, 12:37 AM EST.

Comment ID #53124

Oh no… he’s coming back. At this rate I won’t be able to recharge soul press.

Reinhild extends her arms to the sides, and several tiny fireballs start to emerge from her body.

Flame vulcan!

The fireballs shoot one after another towards Albert. Reinhild’s hand slowly starts to glow darker once again.

Reinhild July 2, 2010, 12:38 AM EST.

Comment ID #53127

Albert’s eyes narrow as those fireballs blast towards him, using his sword to block one, cut another in half, deflect a third… but they keep coming, and after several blocks one strikes him square in the chest, sending him flying back towards the door, his armor smoldering as Delilah shrieks loudly.

Albert! Noooo!

Delilah emerges from her cover, standing in front of her injured lover, tears streaming from her eyes in fear, but she has a determined look in them as her beads rattle.

I won’t let you hurt him!

Says the woman, shaking in her heels.

Delilah (autoplay Albert) July 2, 2010, 12:42 AM EST.

Comment ID #53128

He smiled at Lieselotte as he was almost freeing himself.
Thanks… Let’s do this!
Makar could free himself from the trap and held his shield and rushed, standing between the couple and the fire balls.
Now you’ll see why I wanted so much to get this shield back!
He prepared the defence, on guard.

Lord Makar July 2, 2010, 12:44 AM EST.

Comment ID #53132

She moves with him as one, she is determined to see this to the end, and to do it with Makar. Her movements are fluid, not as graceful as the dancer, but equally as effective, as she dodges the fireballs, allowing them to dissipate into Makar’s shield. Her focus is Reinhild’s darkening hand, the Soul Press warming up once more, she will not allow the shadowy tendrils flowing over the hand come in contact with the Lord.

We need to push forward, your sword is the only thing that can stop her now!

Lady Lieselotte July 2, 2010, 12:50 AM EST.

Comment ID #53133

Another of the fireballs hits Delilah directly, sending her back as well, and falling on top of Albert. The rest of the fireballs follow up, and explode on Makar’s shield, succesfully protecting the pair from the remaining stream.

Well… at least they are now out of the game. Alright! Soul press is ready again.

Now it’s your turn, knight of the sword of light. DIE!

She quickly aims her hand, and closes it, but then notices Lieselotte, is still standing in the way.

Arrgh… this is it. My patience is over. Stand aside NOW.

Reinhild July 2, 2010, 12:53 AM EST.

Comment ID #53134

Let’s end this now!!
he left his shield behind, grabbing the sowrd with both hands and advancing right behind Lieselotte.
This is for Sunday and my fallen comrades!! He shouted. The mytical blade was ready to pierce that shield and finish Deinhild.

Lord Makar July 2, 2010, 12:54 AM EST.

Comment ID #53135

The fireball strikes the woman in the red dress right in the center of her body, sending her flying back as her beads fly away from her in all directions as she hits her boyfriend, making him cough. The small round spheres can be heard rolling across the floor of the room as she lays across the downed knight, as he murmurs:

Delilah…

He reaches up to hug his stunned mate, squeezing her gently in his arms as he begins to lose consciousness.

Delilah (autoplay Albert) July 2, 2010, 12:57 AM EST.

Comment ID #53136

I will Never step aside!
She marches forward, each step more confident then the last. She would not stand aside, and she would not stop as she approached Reinhild, the knowledge of Makar behind her empowering her. To onlookers the pair would seem unstoppable at this, their most triumphant moment as they came within several feet of Reinhild.
This ends now!

Lady Lieselotte July 2, 2010, 1:01 AM EST.

Comment ID #53137

Shield explosion!

Seeing Makar and Lieselotte awfully close to her, she reacts in desperation, and makes her own protective shield explode, pushing everyone back. Reinhild’s body can now be clearly seen, unprotected.

I’m sick of you! Just let me kill you one by one, and wait for your turn!

Magnetism!

The heroes bodies, are magically charged, and start repeling eachothers.

Now you can’t go anywhere near the knight, you can’t save him anymore!

Hehehe… finally he will die… hehehe…

She aims her hand towards Makar, and tries to press him. Makar feels a choking sensation, but the stream of light refuses to come out of his body.

Something’s wrong… it’s not right… what the hell is this!? Huh!?

Reinhild finally closes her hand, and a stream of light comes out of her body. She instantly drops to the ground.

Reinhild July 2, 2010, 1:05 AM EST.

Comment ID #53138

Makar took a deep breath when the choking sensation vanished while Reinhild fell to the ground. He rushed towards Lieselotte.
Are you okay? He tried to help her to get up.

Lord Makar July 2, 2010, 1:10 AM EST.

Her fingers start twitching, and she slowly stands up. Reinhild takes a look at her surroundings, with a confused look in her face.

Reinhild July 2, 2010, 1:11 AM EST.

When Makar helped Lieselotte to get up, he looked back to Reinhild and noticed that she was still alive. He got his sword and stood in fighting posture.
This time you’re not going to take away anymore souls!

Lord Makar July 2, 2010, 1:14 AM EST.

Comment ID #53141

Reinhild is startled by Makar’s sudden movements, and runs to hide behind the throne.

Please, don’t hurt me!

Reinhild July 2, 2010, 1:15 AM EST.

Comment ID #53142

She stood from the blast, Makar having been directly behind her, she had landed on him. She was relieved when she saw him alive, taking his hand, she pulled him to his feet when they began to repel each other. She gripped his hand for as long as she could, before the force between then was to great even for her to hold on. Forced across the room, she tried to force her way back, when she saw Reinhild cast her Soul Press on Lord Makar. Her eyes lit up in terror, and she cried out his name, tears in the corner of her eyes. She had fallen from their moment of triumph to the depths of despair in seconds. She did not notice Reinhild collapse, and as the spell finally wore off she ran to her Lord, calling his name, she collapsed at his feet.

((Just assume this happened right after Reinhild’s spell failed.))

Lady Lieselotte July 2, 2010, 1:16 AM EST.

Comment ID #53143

When he noticed the confused look in her face and saw her reaction, he lowered his weapon and slowly walked closer, confused.
Wait, wait!
He tought she maybe was just being possessed by some curse and that she was free now.
I’ll not hurt you… I thought you were going to attack me and my friends…

Why would I attack you? I don’t even know who you are…

As Makar walked in closer, he could notice a black ghost coming out from Reinhilds back. It stares at Makar with a menacing look.

“Guys!?” Carter finally collected himself after seeing the crushed Pilinius, but the others were already gone. Without a light source, he could only trust his own cat-night vision to see. “WHERE ARE YOU!?” He ran across the hallway, feeling more lost and useless as ever. But not much longer, he slipped and fell to the ground on his face.

“OUGH, OW!” Carter grunted, wondering why he had fallen. This time, he wasn’t tripping on himself. Looking ahead of him, he found a familiar red bead, and promptly noticed a stream of them. “Finally!” He thought. “A sign!” He followed the trail of globes until he ran into a dark pile. Carter squinted his eyes to try to see clearly, but he instantly knew who it was when he heard her coughing. “What? No!” He raced to Delilah and Albert, trying to wake them up with soft nudges and weak slaps. “Wake up, guys!” He almost cried, but it was no use. With nothing left to do, he looked at his own hands and slowly placed them on top of the pair, concentrating hard, and praying for a miracle.

(IF CARTER’S GONNA HAVE ANY USE, NOW WOULD BE THE TIME!)

Makar raised an eyebrown, now secure that she have been possessed. When he notices the dark ghost behind her, he rushes towards Reinhild.
Watch out behind you!! He shouted while trying to get between her and the dark figure.

Ahh!

She curls onto the ground, covering her head and shaking in fear. The ghost on her back just laughs, and taunts Makar.

Kill her… Kill her…

She had stood there stunned for a minute at Lord Makar’s survival of the attack. She finally moved forward, enraged, she barely pays attention to her surroundings. She storms up the the Throne, forcing Reinhild out of her curled position, she puts her claws to Reinhild’s neck.
Cursed or not, you’ve caused the deaths of many. Yours, or the blood of another needs to be spilled for this. Makar, you deal with the dark spirit, and I shall deal with her.
Her anger is clear, if she is to be talked out of her actions, the arguments will need to be strong. Little will sway her opinion at this point.

(EFFIN YES IT WORKED HEBS I LOVE YOU)

“Wait, it’s working? It’s actually working?” Carter’s exclamation was followed by bursts of laughter and cheering. He guided his hands through Delilah and Albert, cleansing them of fatigue and damage.

Reinhild starts to cry as she is threatened by Lieselotte.

Please… don’t kill me… I miss my mom…

The dark spirit laughs, and then, materializing it’s hand, punches Lieselotte in the face, knocking her backwards. The dark substance used to materialize goes back into Reinhild’s body.

Delilah and Albert stir as Carter’s glowing hands pass over their bodies, the burns on their flesh fading behind his hands. Delilah is the first to awaken, slowly pushing herself upright, her singed whiskers twitching as she opens her eyes.

Carter… what…

The injured dancer managers, her chest rising and falling evenly as he continues to tend to her wounds, looking confused but smiling up at the jester as he heals her, her tail shuddering behind her.

W-what’s going on?

She is unaware of the ghost’s presence. For a brief moment her eyes flash red.

Now it’s time to finish you off!

Turning back to normal, she starts screaming as the ghost starts growing in size.

AHHH. This hurts! Ahh!

Reinhild passes out, and the ghost detaches from her body.

The giant ghost emerges from Reinhild’s body, and roars at the party. An opaque area can be seen inside the ghosts semi-transparent body, moving all around. Reinhild’s inanimate body starts to levitate infront of the ghost.

Delilah smiles at him.

You can heal after all…

With a groan, the dancer slowly begins to stand up, her eyes focusing slowly, on Sean’s body in the corner, on the vampire advancing on the hapless Rienhild, on Lord Makar slowly backing away from the massive ghost. Shaking a little, she slowly moves away from her still unconscious boyfriend, whose hands are now twitching on his chest as she slowly slides her foot across the floor.

I haven’t done anything to help so far… everyone else has…

Use your sword to kill the spirit Makar, I’ll destroy it’s host body!
She screams at him, as she jumps onto the throne. Looking down at Reinhild, she snarls and plunges claws through Reinhild’s midsection. They pierce straight through, poking out of her backside, she pulls them out and stabs through again.

Lady Lieselotte July 2, 2010, 2:01 AM EST.

Comment ID #53191

Delilah shakes her head.

No, this will take something… faster. Just… follow along as best you can. And when I step four times quickly… I need you to jump.

She begins taking steps at a slow but very deliberate rate, swaying her arms back and forth, clapping in time with the clicking of her heels on the floor, looking back at Carter to try and get him to follow her movements. She slowly steps around, carefully moving between the beads. As Carter begins to follow, anyone with a keen eye will notice that her beads, scattered across the floor, have begun to twitch and move, as though on their own.

As the pair continue to move around, the sounds of their feet surprisingly loud on the floor, the beads begin to roll towards the ghost, slowly beginning to bounce up and down in time with their footfalls as they gather around the black thing. As Lord Makar begins to move for his next strike, Delilah calls out

Are you ready Carter? START JUMPING?

The dancer quickly taps her foot four times in succession, hoping for Carter to jump.
