about the background color of balloon comments

Comment ID #53926

Why only taeshi and suitcase have their balloon comments colored with olive, and the others are grey colored?

xD
They own the site.
If you can hold a spin off series when Taeshi’s done with BCB then we’ll talk.

As it stands, Taeshi and Suitcase have green comments to show that they are the admin’s of the site, and so that people can’t pretend to be them.

Also, having them coloured makes their comments pop out amongst the others, so that people know when they have something to say.

If everyone had a coloured box, it wouldn’t be as effective.

@Flavio: you already broke the rules of the speech bubble by going outside of it

It’s because they’re admins on the site. If you can somehow sweettalk them into letting you be admin (not gonna fucking happen) you can get the green comments showing that you run this bitch. And this isn’t my triumphant return to the forums. I’m not back for good. And it sucks.

Yeah, Maverik’s right. It’s modelled after the bold red ADMIN text you see when moot posts on /b/. It’s fairly easy to impersonate us here (not that anyone has seemingly tried!) but the green bubble can inform you we’re legitimate.
