Is this going to run paralel to the game Pixel is making? Or will that game halt untill this one is done?
I’m already committed to the other one, so my participation in this will hinge on that factor.

I am thinking of trying to RP Lucy, since I can relate to her (to a point). But I’m not quite sure.I’m going to have to select that character as of now just in case. However, it is subject to change as I said.

@Maverik that I am not sure of, I really don’t know when he was planning to start that one so I can’t help you there.
@ Iggy, Oh iggy, Iggy, Iggy there is so many things wrong with that statement. XD

Okay so here is the new Murder Mystery Game, School House Horrors. It takes place at a highly acclaimed international school where kids from all over the world come to study. The school is on a secluded island several miles off the coast of the Eastern Seaboard. (This is only relevant to say the water is too cold to swim in.) The only communication with the outside world and the only way to reach the island is by a boat which is making two runs during the course of the game, the trip there at the start and the trip back at the end of the week. Spring break has recently started so the only ones left in the school are the few students preparing for the upcoming Cultural Exchange Festival and a few teachers and faculty members watching over them.
Their pasts are left open for your interpretation and the relationships are up to you to make even with the NPCs, heck please make relationships with them, it makes for great motives. No characters are safe from death and if you are killed off you are free to choose any NPC left over. If there is a character that you really want and is not represented in this story tell me before we really get into the swing of things and I will add them, but there are currently 22 playable characters to choose from so that really shouldn’t be a problem.
A Few Helpful Rules
1.) No Mary-sues, they aren’t fun to play with and they become old real quick. And no one likes them so don’t make your character perfect in every little way, it’s really annoying.
2.) Play nice with everyone, don’t get mad at the other players just because you don’t like the way they are taking the story. Just post a simple message stating you don’t like what they are doing and come to an agreement together on what to do next.
3.)Don’t post annoying messages that are just “OMG! Where is everyone? Why isn’t anyone playing, wahhhhhhhhh!” We do have lives outside of the forum and the wonderful thing about it is that even if you leave, you can come back and everything will still be there. Isn’t that awesome?
4.) No playing as the same character from a different RPG if you have played as them more that twice. Give someone else the chance.
5.) Keep the Role playing in here. Taeshi doesn’t want to see it floating around the other threads so change your name if you go and post in different forums. Most of us have played before and are pretty use to this, but it makes the other Forumites mad to see Augustus giving his two cents in the Religion thread. We won’t stone you if you forget your name, but just make sure to check that kind of stuff, it won’t take more than two seconds honestly. And this is not saying that you have to change it every time you do post in a different forum (though the others would like it if you did), this is just here so you don’t act like you character in them.
6.) No trolling and Don’t feed the trolls. Don’t talk to them, don’t make snappy remarks, just act like they aren’t there. Seriously, you make it worse by talking to them.
7.) No OCs. Sorry, there is enough characters that are canon without adding your own, besides it is really hard to just write them into the story. I know they were in the survival game and that’s fine, but let’s not in the murder mystery where we do everything based on relationships we make then or stuff that happened in the comic. It will just get confusing.
Playing the Game.
For the sake of making this last longer that a day, I will not be accepting suppositions till the third day. You can call out your guess all you want, but unless this thing is completely dead in two days I won‘t accept them as real accusations. Let’s try and see how long we can keep this up.
I want to kill off 3 people a day, but it really depends on how many people join. That will determine who and how many die. These will hopefully be interesting deaths that make you investigate the cause and find the clues. I will sprinkle these through out the game that will all point to the murder and motive. Feel free to investigate the bodies, I will reveal clues the more you look for them.
What I say is canon, all relationships with approval by the other player are canon. Relationships with NPCs are canon if believable. Clues you introduce will not be canon unless other wise stated by me, so if you think you found something that could fit into the story, throw it out there and see where it goes, it could lead you to a real clue.
The beginning of the third day is when I will start accepting hypothesizes. We can play longer if you guys want to, but nothing sooner than this. If you think you know the killer, announce it and give your reasons why and then wait for me to confirm before you go on a killing rampage. Seriously, deaths are only acceptable if I confirm it, we don’t want another gun fight like at the end of MMG 3. You can talk to the other players while waiting for me to confirm but don’t kill anyone just yet, that’s my job.
If you discover that you are the killer and you call it before anyone else, you will win the game and get away safely. If there are any questions or concerns address them now.
Okay so play nice, stay loose, be smart and see if you can discover the murder before the end of the game. So if you guys are ready, let’s get this party started!

Why hello there children! I hope you are ready for our annual Cultural Exchange Festival! I am so glad you could join us this year at Vanderpoint Academy for International Students. I am sure it will be a wonderful learning experience for all of us, now let’s get started then. Oh, you have never visited the Academy before? What a shame, this learning institution is one of the finest in the nation, housing some of the brightest international students from around the world who are taught by the most brilliant professors from the best universities in the country. Hmm, maybe I should explain who I am?
I, dear guest, am Lillian Vanderpoint, Headmaster of this academy and the hostess of this event. My family have been the headmasters for generations and generations, ever sense the establishment of this fine institution. Even though we have a wonderful guidance counselor on campus, the children still prefer to get advice from me and many see me as a kind of foster mother. Thought I am normally easy going, if anything threatens this school I will turn fierce and seek out the threat and deal with it. And let me introduce my students;
Lucille Chin, she is one of the more interesting students. She is occasionally friendly, but more often cross and snippy to the other students. She originally comes from Hong Cong where her father is the English ambassador. Though she was born in China, she is fluent in both English and Chinese. She has an interesting relationship with many of the students, but she chooses to be closest to myself, the track team’s star and the young Chef’s assistant for unknown reasons. Even though she seems rough around the edges, I know she has a good heart, she is just a tad bit defensive. She wears the traditional school outfit for girls which consists of a simple blue and green plaid skirt, white button up shirt and a green and blue sweater vest over it.
Michael Chambers, the son of a British royal, his is well liked among many of the students and faculty of the school. He is relatively easy-going and thoughtful but can be harsh if the time calls for it. He excels in almost everything he tries, especially sports and especially the track team. He really is a rather sweet boy, but for reasons is often used as a punching bag by Miss Lucille. Even though he is normally calm and collected, if pushed he can step up the to plate and deal with what ever is thrown his way. His outfit is a simple white dress shirt with a yellow and orange striped tie and khaki dress pants.
Deanna St. Johns, a smart and cheerful young lady if not slightly innocent. She is daughter of the Canadian property mogul. She tries her best at everything and is far ahead of her fellow students in her studies. Even though she seems scattered brain, she is simply idealistic and often voices her childish dreams. Even though she is not the most confident of her classmates, she is certainly one of the most reliable and is always willing to help and befriend anyone in need. She wears a pale blue dress shirt with the plaid skirt and a green tie.
Paulen Layden, an Australian Ladies man, he is well known around the school by the female population. His family is well off and well known around the world, but he has been kicked out of every other private school and was forced to come here by his father, which he is bitter about. He is bold and brave, always ready to stand up for his friends and help them any way he can, but has recently gotten himself into a little drama involving several of the female students here and possibly a teacher… And for some reason he insists on pushing the dress code by wearing an aviator jacket over his uniform.
Davis DeAnglo, son of a Spanish lord, and the dim-witted but energetic joker of the school. He often has his head in the clouds and lets his imagination run wild. He sticks close to the side of his best friend, Paulen, and attempts to learn how to “attract the ladies” by following his example. This method often backfires on him though. Though extremely dense, he often surprises the other students and his teachers with the acute observations he makes that often go under the radar of everyone around him. He mostly follows the dress code with a pale green shirt and black pants, but refuse to wear the tie.
Abrum Massri, originally from Egypt, he keeps quite about his past and chooses to keep to him self for the most part. He is extremely chivalrous and always willing to protect the weak, he is kind and strictly follows his moral code. He is also extremely reserved and calm, but protective of his younger sister. He and his father have had a rather strained relationship since his mother’s death. In fact the only communications they have are centered around the payment of his and his sister’s education. He always looks neat and clean in his black dress pants and white shirt and black tie, I wish all the students would follow his example.
Mollen Massri, the younger sister of Abrum and full of childish innocence. Though her past is as dark as her brother’s, she still has a positive out look on life and is always willing to look on the bright side of things. She is also surprisingly cunning for her young age and her rather extreme personality often makes children in her grade shy away from her, this is something she tries to ignore. She is often seen in a khaki jumper with a light blue dress shirt.
Comment ID #54343
Justin Wesson, this young local boy is the newly appointed photographer for the school paper, the Academy Insider. Though he is inexperienced and innocent, he is an excellent photographer and is full of childish innocence. To be completely honest the only reason he is here is because the older kids forced him to take photos for the paper so they could go off and enjoy their spring break. He is a tad bit shy and unsure of himself, but he has a good heart and is always willing to listen to the full story first. He hopes to one day become a reporter. He looks adorable in his white button up shirt and dark green pants, but he insists on wearing goggles for some reason.
Sandra Bags, a local girl that just entered the school a short time ago. She is quiet and calm but incredibility sweet. She has come to the school on scholarships provided by an unnamed benefactor and this is looked down upon by many of the students who see her as only a “simple townie”. He family owns a local bakery and she dresses in a blue dress shirt with a black tie and the school skirt.
Kathleen Bonaparte, a French girl who could best be described as stuck up. She often steps on other’s toes by accident, but sometimes it is on purpose. She is extremely popular and seen as one of the most attractive girls in the Academy. She is not that bright of a student and says before she thinks (though she honestly doesn‘t think that much). She chooses to wear her school uniform with the skirt pulled up slightly too high and her shirt unbuttoned a tad bit to much. All in all, she is not the worst student I have here but there could be a lot of potential in her if she would but down the make up and pick up a text book.
Jessie McKay, this Scottish fire ball is often seen as controlling and mean, but is really just opinionated. She is not afraid to let people know what she thinks about the situation and has a strained relationship with several students and teachers. She wears a button up white shirt with a thin blue tie and skirt.
Rebecca Tarasov, this soft-spoken Russian girls is well liked among the students and teachers. She is kind and sweet but can hold a grudge if pushed. Her closest friend is Jessie and they share many of the same options on people. She looks very cute in her pale blue shirt, sweater vest, and skirt.
And now it is time to meet the Faculty of the Academy.
Miss Tesslin Tarver, the head of the Social Sciences department and my second in command. She comes from a well off family who has always worked hand and hand with my family to make this Academy the best it could be. She does not actually hold a teaching position but that does not stop her from forming some…interesting relationships with the students. She is always trying to sort out their personal problems, even if she is not invited into their conformations(Unfortunately this is a habit she has picked up from me). And for some odd reason she insists on wear some slightly revealing clothing. Though I have known the girl since she was born and practically helped raised her, I can’t help but get the feeling of resentment from her. Perhaps she wishes to one day be the Headmaster of this establishment…..
Professor Alexander Caiman, our best professor of science on this campus. His blunt teaching skill often frustrates students, but at least they learn the material from the best. Some of the students enjoy his class, while others (especially the ones who are only interested in goofing off) despise his classes. He is often seen around the school wearing his trademarked white lab coat and dark sunglasses. Though he is not a favorite teacher, his is a loyal and trustworthy employee who is quite knowledgeable and useful to have around.
Professor Susan Wright, professor of Theater Arts and Language. Her refreshing personality is welcomed to this establishment. And even though this is her first year teaching, she has proven that she knows her subjects well and can think on a dime when the situation arises. Many of the students’ conformations have come to peak in her classes, simply because all of those involved are in her classroom at the same time. Level-headed and often energetic, she has quickly become a favorite among the students. Always dressed in modest clothes, if not just a tad free spirited. She has recently taken over the Drama Club as head sponsor.
Mr. Zachery Morgan, The choir, band, choreography, and art director for the Academy. Though a tad bit scattered-brained he is a good and kind man. He is always pushing the students to let their creativity fly and tries to make them the best artist they can be, whether that is in singing, dancing, painting, photography or any other talent you could think of. His heart and intentions are in a good place, but some of the students dislike his abrupt and often spontaneous teaching methods. Because he is the arts director, he and Professor Wright have grown close in her few months here, they often work together on the school plays and musicals.

Mr. Guy Carson, the culinary genius that runs the Home and Life Learning department of the Academy and is also the head chef of the cafeteria. He teaches the students about everything from cooking to sewing. A slightly flamboyant man that is often teased for his sexual preference, but this is an open-minded school (for the most part) and we accept him none the less. Besides, his is the best cook on this side of the country. He is originally from Italy and wears a cooking apron and chef’s hat in all situations.
Yamigashi Yashi, apprentice to our head chef she is eager to learn the techniques of Mr. Carson. She is a tad bit immature and often loud mouth, but well loved by the students. Her opinions are harsh and often shock me and the staff with her radical ideas, but she is the spirit of the school and we couldn’t possibly part with her. She has become a mascot of sorts for us if you will. She is often seen in a head band decorated with Japanese symbols.
Miss Ami Tab, a quite girl who is the office secretary and head of the guidance counselors office. The students love her confidentiality and calm behavior. She keeps this school running behinds the scenes and always with a smile on her face. She has been a life long friend to Professor Wright, and is the one who suggested her to me in the first place. It is hard to imagine anyone who does not like Miss Tab. She wears simple dress clothes, choosing nether to stand out nor break the dress code.
Mrs. Katherine Morgan, wife of Mr. Morgan, is the schools nurse. She is always happy and cheerful as she goes about her work. Normally I would frown upon my staff having romantic relationships but considering they were married before they came to work at this school I have made an exception. She is loyal to her husband and seemly okay with his close relationship to Professor Wright. She wears a simple nurse outfit around the school.
Mr. Carter, he is the school janitor and a very… odd fellow. He seems to have a slightly unhealthy obsession with one of the students but I am sure that it is harmless… I hope.
Austin St. James, this mysterious man appeared here today, claiming he was here to observe the children and the staff. He acts extremely high and mighty and looks down at people. He says the school board sent him but I am not sure if I trust him, his motives are hidden to me and I have not been able to contact the school board to confirm his story…
And now let me explain the layout of the school…
It is a three story building with four wings that connect at the corners to form a square with the middle taken out. The center is an open-air quad that has a large fountain in the middle of it and many small trees scattered around it. The wings are broken down into north, south, east, and west. First North, which is also the front of the building, is the entrance hall and the office space. First floor east is where the nurses office is located, the science classrooms and the chemistry lab. First south is the gym and swimming pool area, and finally first floor West is the art’s hall and the auditorium is located there.
Second floor North is the cafeteria and kitchen space, second east is the English hall, all the language class rooms are here. Second floor south is an open air observation deck to over look the gym and swimming pool. Second west is balcony section of the auditorium. You can also access the catwalks from here.
Third floor north is the math hallway, all math classes are located here. Third east is the girl’s dormitory hall, no boys are allowed down during the school year. Third floor south is the social science hallway and finally third west is the boy’s dormitory hall, no girls are allowed here during the school year. There is a enclosed, glass walkway that goes from third floor south to third north for easy access to the different classrooms without having to go down the dormitory halls.
There is also a clock tower in the front of the school on top of the North side. This is a small area that simply winds up into the clockwork for the school clock. There is no basement.

Hello there dear guest, I am Lillian Vanderpoint, but you may call me Lily. I whole heartily welcome you to Vanderpoint Academy for International Students and hope you enjoy your time with us. Though the cultural Festival doesn’t actually start till next week I am very glad you have decided to join us and so early. Unfortunately the boat will not be back till the end of the week so I guess you are stuck with us either way! *Laughs happily, if not just a tad bit snottily* Very well then, let’s all enjoy this week, I’m sure it will be a learning experience for all.

Good morning miss Vanderpoint, did you get my message? I am the man the board sent to… observe, here at your school.
Comment ID #54382
*Eyes Austin suspiciously* Really, and why did the board not inform me of this?
Comment ID #54386
To my knowledge they had, but if you did not get the message, well, there is little I can do about that now isn’t there?
((Well blast, just starting up and already i have to get going, see y’alls later))

*Clinches tiny fists* Yes I suppose that is true, well you enjoy yourself sir and I will make sure your stay is comfortable. *Turns away and whispers to self* I will have to make sure that Miss Tab checks out his credentials later…

((Gonna assume that Davis would react to Paulen as David does to Paulo till Sean gets back))
Paulen trudged off the boat looking annoyed. “It’s supposed to be my spring break damn it… Why do I gotta get dragged back here?” He absentmindedly kicks a rock as he stuffs his hands in the pockets of his aviator jacket. Turning to Davis he scoffs. “And look… The old windbag herself has come to greet us. How simply perfect…” He whispers just low enough that she probably wouldn’t hear him. Davis laughs at Lily a little too loud causing Paulen to wince a little, hoping that his joke doesn’t become too obvious to her.
Comment ID #54437
*Glares at Paulen* Hello there dear, I hope you are ready to present you presentation for the Culture Festival, hopefully it will keep you out of trouble this week.
Comment ID #54441
“Oh I’m sure it’ll be the absolute toast of the festival” He replied with a heavy sarcastic tone. “Just why did I have to come back here anyway? It’s not like I’m one of your best students to showcase or something like that fruitcake Michael.” He rolled his eyes at the mention of the name. Little Mr. Perfect who everyone just loved. That guy pissed him off.
Comment ID #54445
Because Mr Layden, you need extra credit to make up the classes you “sleep through”. If you want to stay in this school you have to work for it, not just sit around waiting for us to hand you a diploma.
((XC V Lily Vanderpoint))
Comment ID #54463
Paulen sighs heavily “S’not my fault so many of your ‘esteemed’ teachers are so dull…” He cracks his neck loudly as he loosens himself up. “So we’ve got to… What… Make some stupid show and tell about our culture or something? I can give it to you right now. Some guy finds a giant desert, sends criminals there, they find gold, gold runs dry, and then whoever wasn’t smart enough to get off that rock still lives there. The end.” He shrugs apathetically.
Comment ID #54466
Sighs heavily I wish you would take this a little bit more seriously, you future at the Academy depends on this presentation and I don’t think your father would appreciate you being asked to leave another school, again.

Paulen shudders a little at Guy’s antics. “Not this fruit…” He mutters inaudibly under his breath. He very carefully tries to sneak away unnoticed, but fails when Davis follows suit and starts to hum the Pink Panther theme.

Hmm but maybe they’d let me run the place.

…
Uhhh I’m rambling a lot I’ll just get over to the ovens now.
Turns to Carter
Tsk tsk you know you have to wait just like everyone else if you want some of my cake. You have no idea how hard it is to bake thise thing.

Paulen can’t help but feel a shiver run down his spine “If dad hadn’t threatened to cut off my inheritance if I got kicked out of this school, there’s no way I’d stick around with freaks like those two on the loose” Paulo whispered to Davis.
“Right well… I’m going to go…” He tried desperately to think of a convincing lie. “Anywhere that’s not right here…” Lying wasn’t his strong suit…
Comment ID #54572
Whispering back to Paulen with a mischievous grin on his face.
We should sneak into the girl’s dorms for some action.
Davis not being particulary bright, accepts Paulen’s lie. He then begins edging along the wall in sneaky manner that would have been useful, if it weren’t for the fact that everyone could see him.

Tugs on Davis’s ear and drags him away from the girl’s dorms
Now now I know you want to go there and ask them out but the headteacher doesn’t like it when guys go in there.
I should know from when I went in looking for some fashion advice.
Unless you want to get stuck cleaning the bathrooms for the rest of the time here you’d better stay away silly.
