I like TwoKinds, but it’s a pain in the ass because it updates once a week. Even though it’s a good webcomic, BCB kicks the shit outta it.

Well twokinds is not shit is haves very nice story line + it haves nice graphics, i do think if twokinds updates like 3 times a week like this comic it would be at top and nobody would really read this. it’s because you update alot and you make with the voting part a comic very smart so you can get votes. i still like this comic but if twokinds would update 3 times a week or like 2 i would vote for his comic i ramdomly vote for like every comic but i think i would vote for his then.

Twokinds is decent I would say the art is pretty good and so is the story but everything else is meh still like BCB more though then again I’m impartial when it comes to setting

I’m a fan of Twokinds. I’m a fan of BCB as well. Surely I’m allowed to read more than one webcomic, no? Without having to be labeled as a “terrible person with bad opinions”?

hmmmm…interesting. I dunno, I kinda prefer BCB as a personal preference. Twokinds isn’t bad, but I feel BCB develops better. Plus I think the characters for BCB convey their emotions better via their facial expressions. Just a thought…not raggin’ on Twokinds. If every comic was the same I’d be bored .

@Suit: I also enjoy 2kinds… it’s an over used story i’ll admit. But it’s still fun to watch the art and the characters grow. And i refuse to believe that it’s a “terrible opinion” simply because you do not agree.

Well Suitcase you have to remember that on this comment board you are kind of arguing with teenagers, and alot of furry teenagers at that. I found out (well not that hard) most teenagers have a one tracked mind and think that people will always agree with their opinion and I think this after having a horde of girls in my year try to say “Eastenders is the best show, you just need to watch an episode all the way through and you’ll love it!”
They don’t see other peoples opinions so, meh.

Twokinds has done what most stories of the 21st century has done, stolen a little bit from this fantasy stereotype and some from this and glue it together. The problem is Twokinds made it too obvious where alot of their work was taken from and someone like me who is completely addicted too the fantasy genre just go “Meh, another one in the big pile of first chapter read-already know where the storyline is going-fantasy comics.”
Its all about the fanservice, trust me.

TwoKinds is a amazing webcomic but I recenlty became less intrested as the author had less time to update, with late updates every wednesday I lost the storyline intrest as it didnt progress fast. This comic has become more of a favourate just becaues it updates on time with new pages 3 times a week, the art is cute and well done, each character is unique with good story building behind each. But you shouldn ‘t really rubbish a webcomic like that and make comics about it just because of a personal opinion. There is only one person making 2kinds, Tom, and I think its kinda harsh to insult his work like that espeically over some silly rankings. He works hard on his webcomic and flaming someone isnt going to make anything better for anyone

addressing what you said at the start of the comments, twokinds prolly gets most of it’s reader from laslindas since they have a link there on the front page.without blatantly ranking 2kinds, it’s not good enough for top ten because it’s slowly paced and the plot is not halfway as entertaining to make it worth imo.anyway,the joke should have been at the middle of the comic not the end, would have saved a load of opinions bouncing off users.

I read Twokinds sometimes, but all n’ all, I don’t get why people are so head-over-hills over it. Same thing with Slightly Damned. I guess some people don’t care for the art, but for the storyplot. That, or they just enjoy creatures without clothes. Hm.. I wonder if a lot of fans of Bittersweet are really furhumpers that enjoy seeing boobs and ass? Egh.. that’s creepy to think about! Woah, SuitCase. Calling TwoKinds “poorly written furry fetishist bullshit” and saying people who like it have bad opinions will alienate readers. If you haven’t noticed, TwoKinds and BCB have quite a few readers in common. As the site’s admin, saying stuff like that reflects upon the comic. Because of this, I like BCB a little less, and I have been reading it for much longer. Just try to keep things professional.

I, personally, am a fan of both Twokinds and BCB. It is my opinion that while BCB has a much better plot, and more regular updates, Twokinds has an art style that appeals more to me. I’m not saying BCB drawings are bad. Just that I prefer the polish that digital art gives to a piece.

Argh. Twokinds is totally a fanservice comic.

The page layout is usually pretty terrible. Often it will dedicate a frame to a character, then do a face close-up on them in another frame for no distinguishable reason whatsoever.. except presumably that Tom just wanted to draw them again. Facial expressions are really weak too.. there is only serious neutral, and a few silly anime extremes. It could easily be so much better artistically, but the guy doesn’t push himself with the stuff he needs to and ought to.

I also personally dislike the extremely pointy chins, and how the mouths have no bottom (They all kinda look to have big overbites.) The main human guy is just barren of any interesting traits, Flora is a lame catgirl cliche who only seems to exist to be his girlfriend. Keith was actually a little bit interesting. Would have been better if it was just ‘The Adventures of “¬.¬” and Gender-Confused Girl’

Ok seriously arguing over the goods and bads of Twokinds (if you really want to whine about how bad or good it is take it to someplace that is at least remotely related to the subject ffs) for 2 days is redundant at this point if I can just say for anyone else that wants to post a comment about this childish argument over the typical why something is better than something just don’t

Did you notice how much Suitcase expressed it as HIS opinion and the likes?
Sure openly ranting about how crap another comic is sometimes calls open divides but don’t you understand how pissed off he is that a webcomic which has a crappy storyline and very unoriginal art (mine and apparantly his? opinion) suddenly got a rank better then this one because of its fanservice fans? To be honest I would be slightly peeved too.

To that end, Souppy, the guest comic art and joke were terrible. Badly drawn and radically out of character. Aside from having the actual BCB characters in there, what did that have to do with BCB at all? Why did this even get in? Do you hate me that much?

I’m not trying to troll or be cruel, but this was just beyond terrible.

However, I do like some terrible webcomics and I won’t deny that. I don’t reconcile those with quality comics. Sometimes I just need one from Column A and one from Column B.

Mh, i have to agree with Suitcase about twokinds.
It got a bunch of good character (Natani and Keith) but they are not getting developed enough. I usually read the comic in such a manner:

The story is kind of flat (quite a bit flat) they just juggle for an ark doing nothing if not showing furry female parts or making innuendoes (god the part with the sex altered fox was useful to the plot as a filler in Naruto/Bleach), and when something actually started, they jump in the action too soon and without a good plot (i’m talking about the last part: when they attack the tower of Wyzardry). The action just happen and half of good possible scenes got irremediably shortened (the battle on the bridge between Keith and that other too friendly-touching Basitin), they present new character for a bunch of strips before they got killed/maimed badly (talking about redshirting).

The art are good, the design captivating but the rest just doesn’t work properly in my opinion (which count less than zero, by the way). I actually prefer Goblins, Life through their eyes, the author is a good writer, he’s able to develop good character with their own personality and traits, he doesn’t use any kind of fanservice (he actually joke about that) and he also got crowning moment of funny/awesomess and a very curios way to treat arguments like racism and rape (Similar to the way Taeshi is able to rappresent some character troubled past, like Abbey and Molly with a good mix of strips and range of expressions)
