[I had to stop because my grandmother needed the computer but now I can have it! yay!]
Terra removed her face from the ground and spat out the dirt and grass from her mouth, note to self: never have your mouth open when you fall on ground and never, EVER go skateboarding with your brother when you know he’ll see his crush and get you both almost horrendisly killed.
“You okay, Terra!?” The gray tabby heard Sandy’s voice behind her call. She turned around to notice Sandy and the two other girls staring, they heard the crash, no surprise there.
“Yeah, I’m fine!” Terra called.
“Well that’s good!” Alexa, a gold haired, orange furred cat with Sandy and the other girl, Anna (Terra and Anna did not get along very well). The tabby looked to see the carnage of the crash that happened, Jay was in a tumble of the plastic bins, his skateboard lay upside down, a wheel still spinning. It was good thing he had his gear on, or he probably would’ve skinned his knee, or both. Again. Jay leaned up and, raising his right arm triumphantly, yelled out: “I’m okay! I did that on purpose!” Terra rolled her eyes, Jay was just too damn proud of himself to accept a mistake he made.
When Jay turned his head and notice Sandy looking at him, he felt his heart skip a beat.
“You alright?” He heard her ask.
“Uh, Yeah, yeah did you not hear me before?” He chuckled.
“Good.” The white cat said with a smile, she then turned to Terra, who had walked over and helped Jay get up from the mess. “Terra, later in the afternoon, me and the girls are going to the park to discuss Tina’s birthday party, you want us to come and help us plan?”
“You actually have free time?” Terra, making a mock shocked expression.
“just for a little while, not much but hey, it’s better than nothing.”
“Yeah, maybe…” Terra answered.
“Okay, see you later!” Sandy and the other girls waved goodbye as they walked away.
Jay continued staring at Sandy until she was a distance away, then shook his arms excitedly.
“Oh my god! Did you see that, Jackie! She spoke to me!”
“Yeah? She’s always said hello to you (and everyone else in class, for that matter)”
“Yeah, but…but this time it was more than ‘hello’ or ‘hi’, and she waved to me!”
Terra could barely take it when Jay squealed in excitement.
“Oh god, I think I’m going to be sick…” She mumbled, then she remembered. “Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot.”
Without warning, Terra’s hand grabbed at her brother’s right ear, and she twisted it and pulled, causing Jay to flinch and wave his arms frantically around.
“Ow! OW! Jackie!” He yelled.
“You are a moron, Jay, I’ve gone through one too many times where I’ve been through too many near-death expierences because of your lovesick idiocy!!!” Terra then made an attempt to punch her brother’s face, but Jay, realizing his sister meant business, quickly flipped his body to his left, dodging the punch and releasing the grip Terra had on his ear. He quickly got into a defensive stance as he prepared to defend himself from Terra’s many attacks but a car horn honking interrupted them. Jay turned around to notice a rather long black sports car pull up alongside the siblings. Jay nearly jumped in surprise when he saw the driver unroll his car window.
“Master Corrin! Sensei!” Jay and Terra made a quick bow of respect. Corrin was a dark, orange cat with rather smallish ears, and wearing all leather, his sunglasses hiding his brown eyes.
He smiled at the two siblings.
“Didn’t I teach you to use your moves for yours and others protection? Not to beat family members up? Even rivaling twins?” He asked.
Terra and Jay looked down in embarrassment.
“Sorry, Collin.” The gray tabby apoligized.
“It’s alright, I actually didn’t see you two fight, but I knew you were about to. Now I assume, you were rushing to the Dojo, am I correct?” He asked.
“Yes, Sensei.” Jay answered.
“Then, come on in, with any luck you might be on time for once.” Corrin said as he unlocked the passenger door behind. Jay, after he grabbed his board and his dropped backpack, entered the car along with Terra, just after Jay closed the door behind him, The sports car zoomed off through the surburban streets.

[Sorry it’s taking so long for a new post, it’s not as easy as some people think for me to find an available computer around, but I’ll have chances, and I’ll take them, like right now!]
“So…” Collin said after a while of silence, it wasn’t an uneasy silence, Collin just liked to talk. “I’ve had to have the stereo taken away from the arena, Jay.”
Jay’s shoulders’ slumped
“What? No cool music to play as the class spares against one-another?”
“I’m afraid not, it was too disruptive
to the other people outside.”
“Too disruptive!? aagh…” Jay grumbled for a while then suddenly realized something.
“Hey, Sensei? How come your coming to the Dojo only now? Your always there when me and Terra arrived, but I don’t remember a sports car driving by when we arrived.”
Terra looked away from the window next to her and focused her attention on Collin.
“Yeah… About that…” The Sensei said with a nervous chuckle. “I accidentely set my alarm clock and hour ahead last night and that set my entire schedule off. I rather not talk about it.”
“Ah, I’ve been wondering about that since you picked us up.” Terra said, then looked out the window again.
“Wait, if you’ve been wondering that since we got in, how come you didn’t ask earliar, Jackie?” Jay looked at Terra suspiciously. Not bothering to turn around, Terra answered.
“Because, since he’s technically your teacher and not ours anymore, I’d figure you would ask sometime soon.”
“Actually, Terra…” Collin said, interupting the twins’ conversation. “I’ve been meaning to ask you Terra, why’d you stop training at the Dojo? Don’t you like all the flashy kicks and punches in Taekwondo?”
“Well yeah, but…” Terra stopped as she thought of what next to say. “I don’t know, I felt like it wasn’t exactly the thing for me, really.”
Jay began laughing.
“‘Not the thing for me’. Oh god! That’s priceless!”
“What& rsquo;s so funny, Jay!?” Terra yelled.
“It’s just that, well, I see all the time, practicing punches and kicks, and don’t get me started about you after you watch a movie Jackie Chan is in. Then, you disappear in your room and practice nonstop for almost an hour.”
“Ah, that must explain why you call you sister ‘Jackie’ then.” Collin commented, but said no more when the twins seemed to ignore him. Jay continued. “And it’s weird that, although you don’t want to learn Taekwondo anymore, you still want to come and watch.”
“Who asked you to be the judge what’s wrong or not with my actions?” Terra replyed.
“I never said what you’re doing is wrong, Jackie, just weird. You don’t want to learn Taekwondo, yet you always come to the Dojo when I go and you always practice on what you did learn while you were there at home. Now, is that or is that not weird?”
After a moment of silence, Terra answered.
“I guess it is weird, but I’m still not learning in the Dojo.”
After another silence, Jay spoke in a much softer tone.
“You know, if you had just stayed to practicing, you would’ve been a Brown belt, like me, not stuck in the yellows.”
Terra didn’t say anything, looking out the window.
“We’re getting close.” Collin said. “You might only be a few minutes late, and not close to an hour.”
“Yeah! Alright!” Jay cheered.
“A new record on how late your were, Jay.” Terra taunted. The happy tabby ingnored it.
While the car pulled up to the parking lot and Collin tried to find an empty space, Jay and Terra got and went inside the Dojo building. As jay went off to get changed, Terra found a seat to sit where she could get a good view of the Dojo arena. An excited voice called out that got the Tabby’s attention.
“TERRA!!!” A young beige cat ran up and practically tackled Terra with a hug.
“Augh! Hey Danny, you mind letting go of me, you’re kind of choking me to death here.”
“Oh! Sorry Terra.” The young child let go, then without warning, Terra swooped up and swung the laughing child around.
“Well, I thought I heard laughing.” Said a smooth voice, Terra turned to see a black furred cat with one ear stand in the hallway.
“Hey, James, just saying hi to your younger brother.” Terra smiled as she shook the child a little more, then put him down.
“How come you’re still not wearing the robes, Donny?” James asked. Without another word, Donny ran into the change room. James sat down next to Terra.
“So how come you’re early?” He asked. “Did Jay leave earliar and not run into Sandy?”
“No and no. Everything happened as usual until Collin and picked us up.”
“Ah.”
Terra turned to see Jay come out wearing his robes, his brown belt standing out from the white of his robe.
“Hey One-ear.” He said. The dark cat growled at that.
“You know, Jay, not everyone likes being called by a nickname.”
“Whatev er. I’m heading to the arena.”
After Jay left, Terra looked out to see Collin come inside.
“I didn’t think it was that bad.” She said as the Sensei came in.
“Can’t talk, gotta hurry! Already late!” Was all he said.

Not to be pricky mate, but the word for training hall is Dojang in Korean *says this while reading the R.I.T.A. Taekwon-do student handbook as he himself wasn’t sure, even though his grading is next Thursday XD* And the uniform is called a Dobok. I don’t know where you get a Brown Belt from either… Oh and Sensei is Japanese also. Again not trying to be pricky, but I just can’t help it when I see those errors…^^;

So let me get tis straight… this is about the town/place that Sandy lives, but she’s only in the story so that your story is in some way related to BCB (BTW where is it again?) Also, if this sounds overly critical it’s not supposed to be, I just asking for clarification.
Comment ID #5898
Well unless Taeshi makes a spin-off series that features Sandy.
Anyhow, nice story development.
Comment ID #5912
I kinda see what u mean “Random fan” and I kinda agree with it, unfortunately ![]()
Comment ID #5925
Hold on before jumping to conclusions people! If you read the firs post of this thread you’ll see that Taeshi herself gave Tayvin permission and blessings for the story. So there might be more than meets the eye. Besides, aside from the mistakes I pointed out, the story is pretty solid and intriguing as it’s done in an angle which I don’t think any of us would have thought to write about…
Comment ID #6134
fair enough, but still, as a MikeXSandy fan, I would still like to see a bit more of her… unless your afraid that your version will be to different from the BCB version.

Incredible I halfway sarcastically ask for a Sandy spin off and this appears. I love this site. By no means perfect (or close to perfect) but not a bad start regardless, keep at it, I see potential.
Comment ID #6150
Aw crud… I was just toying with the concept of writing some Sandy spin off fiction as a way of sharpening the old mental pencil, and now I see I’ve been beaten to the punch! I don’t want to look even MORE derivative after already using Taeshi’s characters :\
Not a bad story so far. Though you may want to rethink your formatting, as there’s a few cases of garbled code, and it’s a little hard to read without indents etc.

“Parking isn’t actually that bad for Collin since he arrives so early.” James said.
Terra looked over at the black cat
“How are things?” She asked.
“Long and boring, as usual.” He answered. Terra gave him an odd look.
“But isn’t it fun to have Donny around?”
“Hah! You only see him here in the Dojo, where he’s most excited. Believe me, he’s a very different person outside the Dojo.”
“Oh, I envy you so much James.”
“Envy me? You should pity me.”
“But I don’t know what it’s like to have a younger brother, I wish I did have one.”
“Well…” James scratched the back of his head as he thought, by this time, the training in the arena had begun. “…Jay is your brother, right?”
“Well, yeah, he is, but he’s my twin, he’s not younger than me. And he can be such a pain! I mean, I have to deal with his insane sports addiction, his love for aircraft, and worst of all, his enormous, annoying crush on Sandy! Ugh…” Terra rubbed her forehead as if she were exhausted, James smiled.
“Donny is no different in terms of annoyance, I mean, for one thing, he misses one day being here and he just blows and throws things and screams and… ugh! It’s a nightmare, half of my daily headaches are from him.”
“Maybe, but Donny is younger than you by over ten years. It must feel different to have a younger brother than a twin…”
James shook his head.
“I don’t get you, Terra, I just don’t. How can you want a younger brother so much?”
Terra sat back farther in her seat and looked up at the ceiling.
“I’m just annoyed at my brother right now, that’s all. Then your sweet little brother ran up and…”
“Yeah… He’s always happy to see you.” After a while of silence, James slowly moved his hand and lightly took hold of Terra’s. The gray tabby looked down at his hand holding hers in amazement, then looked up at him.
“This is most public place you’ve done something like this.”
“Try not to attract attention, I’ve just really missed you.”
“There’s nothing wrong with us dating, James.”
“Well… I don’t know… I just don’t want people to know.” James replied.
Terra sighed and put her other hand on top of his, and they sat there like that for while. But shouting from the arena suddenly caught their attention. Terra let go of James when she saw Jay lying on the ground, his hand covering his face as blood poured onto the ground…
Jay kept telling himself over and over again that he was an idiot after he took a side kick in the face from another student, his nose hurt like nothing before and he could feel the blood pouring down. It was amazing how your thinking affects your effectiveness in sparring, Jay couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that Sandy had actually spoken to him, and he was so dazed over it, he didn’t notice the foot about to hit his face until it was too late. The kid he sparred with, William, a long golden furred dog and the best fighting match for Jay, apologized again and again. Jay kept his eyes tightly closed and covered his face as the pain stung him. When he opened his eyes, he saw Donny staring at him, wide-eyed, then faint. Master Concum, another master in the arena, ran over to examine Jay. What he remembered next was him being taken to what he called ‘the medical room’. By this time, his nose had stopped bleeding, and the sharp pain turned into a dull ache, so maybe he got off lucky in that his nose wasn’t broken. Eventually, Concum concluded that Jay’s nose wasn’t broken and that he was okay. When he came out, he saw Terra sitting next to James, who tried to calm the crying Donny.
“T-there was so much red! Is Jay dead? *sniffle*” The young child cried.
“Far from it, Mr. Tackle.” Jay said.
Donny calmed somewhat then, but he never liked the sight of blood, which he called ‘red’.
When Jay went off to get changed, he noticed the blood on his Dobok.
“Aw, damn… It’s not gonna be easy getting that off.”
After packing it into his bag, he saw Terra waiting for him outside the door, no sign of James or Donny.
“How did you get hit, Jay?” She asked.
“William must be getting faster with his moves, that means I gotta stay on my toes the next time I go up against him.” He lied, figuring that Terra would probably beat him again if he told her that he was still going nuts over the fact that Sandy talked to him.
“Is it because you were thinking of Sandy?” Terra asked in a suspicious tone. Damn! Was she psychic?
“Absolutely not!” Jay lied again. “What time is it?” Jay wanted to change the subject, and fast.
“Huh? How am I supposed to know? I don’t have a watch.”
“Then get one, I’m tired of not knowing the time.”
After making sure all his gear was on, Jay got out his skateboard and headed back home, with Terra holding on nervously, they didn’t encounter Sandy on the way back, much to Terra’s relief and Jay’s dismay.
[OMG! I’m all giddy over the fact that people are talking about my story (even if it is a fanstory). Sandy will show up more later on, I just wanted to introduce some more characters first, also, in all honesty, I never told Taeshi what the story was about, The reason I didn’t make the story take place in the area where the main characters of BCB reside is because I’m worried I’ll seriously screw up, Hopefully I’ll be able to talk later, busy school schedule

[well, I made a few mistakes, but I wanted a story that showed the other side (I think of the story as 2 sides for some reason, one is where Sandy is, the other is with all the other main characters of BCB), even though this is only a meager fanstory and is not canonical to the main story, I still wanted to see what it was like in Rickter (the name of the town/city/area that Sandy lives, Am I right?). Frankly, this is as much a surprise for me as it is for any of you who are curious to see how Sandy is doing.]
Comment ID #6270
Mate, I posted a comment on the latest update that says that instead of previews for incetives, Taeshi should do a smaller comic about the daily routines of Sandy to go with your story. As I said before I’m curious about what goes on the other side too…
Comment ID #6271
[Wait, to go WITH my story!? I must be misunderstanding you]
Comment ID #6277
No, you are not misunderstanding at all! I thought that since you were the one who started the Sandy following and since I think Sandy’s a fancharacter anyway (and Taeshi doesn’t really incorporate them to the main cast), then it shouldn’t be a problem… I think

@Tayvin
If anyone else get jealous they’re just daft. You came up with the idea so why not let it get some credentials? I mean only Maverick seemed to have toyed with it and nameless said s/he thought of asking someone to do it sarcastically. You got a solid work here that just needs a little editing and could be the “other side” (if you will), of the story. And if Taeshi did the incentive, it would bring more readers to this story also. I do think it’s a splendid idea mate, if I may say so myself. XD

[Another post from me, hope you enjoy]
Rayner Concum watched nervously as the last of the students in the arena left the building. He then turned his attention to his friend, Collin.
“Collin…” He said after making sure no one was nearby. “…You’ve been sweating a lot more today, did you take your medications this morning?”
Collin was silent as he looked at the pictures of all the famous teachers that had ever taught in the Dojo.
“No… Alarm clock mistake this morning, set my entire schedule off.”
Concum’s hands were shaking.
“Agh! Damnit Collin! You can’t skip one day of the medications!”
Collin turned around at Concum angrily.
“Does it really matter!? Those ‘medications’ seem to be doing more harm to me than good!”
“Trust me, you have to take them, Collin! If you don’t you’ll-”
“I know what’ll happen! Don’t think I want to go through that again!” Collin then suddenly shuddered as the memory passed through his head. Concum hesitated before speaking again.
“Look Collin… You know I was once a doctor, listen to my advice and I also heard they have a new pill that you could take, apparentely it will better help you with your… um…”
“You don’t have to be so scared, Concum. I’ll check out the Pharmacy about this new medication.”
Concum relaxed, his friend was still his friend, but his hands still shook nervously.
A few hours later, Terra walked around in the park, looking for Sandy and the others and having no luck.
“Huh, maybe I should’ve went to other path farther back.”
“How come?” The voice made Terra jump. Terra spun around and saw Tina, the light brown dog staring at her curiously.
“Um… Because I was trying to find Sandy and the others…”
“O h, really? are they meeting somewhere nearby? How come I wasn’t told? And why do you look so nervous?”
“I… don’t know?” Since Terra was meeting with everyone to discuss Tina’s birthday party, Terra was very nervous that Tina would get a hint on what was going on but, seeing that she was stuck with the dog, she had to hope they wouldn’t find Sandy. But, much to her disapointment, Terra saw Sandy and her friends in the distance, sitting on a bench, talking. Tina then raised her hand and yelled.
“HEY GUYS! I’M OVER HERE!!!!”
Though it was difficult to make out any details on each of their faces, Terra could tell they were surprised to see Tina.
[Well, hopefully I’ll be able to post more later today, but I’m not sure]

[Okay, what the hell!? I double checked to see if there were any mistakes before I posted, oh well, guess it’s just a coding mistake that’s not my fault]

I guess you’re right about that, it never really crossed my mind that this story could be canonical, but let’s wait and see what Taeshi says about it]

Hmm, a serious story contrasted by what looks like light comedy! This is starting to get more interesting. It reminds me of Melinda and Melinda. True you are writing two very different stories, but the theme of contrast is clear. I want to see how you’ll take the stories…

“Someone please tell me that’s not Tina coming toward us…” Alexa said as she put her hands on her face.
“That idiot, Terra! She’ll ruin everything!” Anna grumbled.
“I’m sure it wasn’t Terra’s fault.” Sandy said as she desperately tried to hide some notes that she took for surprise ideas.
“I told you guys it was a bad idea to come here, I warned you that Tina liked walking in the park but nooooo! You didn’t listen to me!” Anna cried out.
Sandy and Alexa stared at her.
“It was your idea to meet here, don’t go blaming this on us.” Sandy said.
Thinking no better place to hide them, Sandy put the notes under the bench and hoped that Tina wouldn’t find them.
“Hi guys!” The happy dog yelled.
“She followed me…” Terra exclaimed with a guilty face.
“So how come none of you told me you were all meeting here?” Tina asked, finding a spot to sit on the bench.
“Really? I told Terra to let you know.” Anna lied. Terra made a glance of pure hatred at Anna, who had a smug look on her face.
“Oh well, I’m here now! So, what’re we doing?” Tina asked in a cheerful tone. They managed to find other things to talk about and Tina didn’t see the notes that Sandy had hid. Eventually, Alexa pretended not to know where there bathroom was and Tina volunteered to show her, Anna went along as well. When they were far enough away, Sandy made a sigh of relief and pulled the notes from under the bench.
“Can you hide these in your backpack, Terra?” She asked.
“Huh? Yeah, okay.” The tabby answered. After she had put the papers away, Terra sighed.
“Sorry about that.” She said.
“Oh, it’s quite alright.” Sandy answered.
After a while of silence, Sandy spoke again.
“I’m guessing you still haven’t told Jay?”
“Told him? About what?”
Sandy stared at Terra.
“You know what I mean.” She answered
Terra’s ears flopped down in more guilt.
“Right… I didn’t have the heart to tell him.” She said.
“Well, you have to tell him soon.”
“Why soon?”
“Eventually, Jay is going to get brave enough to ask me out, and I’m going to have to say no and I’d rather it would be you telling him beforehand than me.”
“But why me?”
“You’re his twin sister, Terra, you know him more than anyone.”
“But didn’t you say I could take my time in telling him?”
“Umm… Yeah, my mind changed when… Maishul called a few days back.” Sandy said with a slight blush on her face.
Terra stared for second, shocked.
“Wait, he called you!? Not letter, but called!? With a phone!?”
Sandy nodded in answer.
“Whoa… But why does that-?”
Terra stopped when she saw the ever growing blush on Sandy’s face. Seeming to figure it out, the tabby’s shoulders drooped.
“Alright, who asked and who answered?” She asked with a sigh.
“He asked, I answered.”
“Shit… So that’s why you want me to tell Jay soon.”
“Yeah… I always thought of Maishul as my boyfriend, but he needed to be sure, but after he called… I guess deep down, I wasn’t totally sure if he thought the same way about me but then he asked and now I feel… relieved that he thinks the same way.”
Terra nodded in answer.
“Alright, I’ll try but you know how I think Jay will react?”
“How?”
“Denial. He’ll probably be in denial about the whole thing and won’t believe me.”
“Oh, that never crossed my mind.”
As the other three girls came back, Sandy shrugged.
“I’m sure everything will end well and Jay might not take it that badly.”
“Maybe…” Terra replied.
Meanwhile, Jay sat in front of his desk in his room, a pen in his hand, a piece of paper on the desk.
“Let’s see…” He mumbled as he thought. “…I could do a ‘roses are red, violets are blue…’ no, that’d be too common, I could write one from scratch, but, are all love poems based on the ‘roses are red’ thing? I don’t know… maybe I should just say what I like about Sandy and forego all the poetic stuff, I’m not the best at poems after all…”

[I am SO sorry it has been this long since the last post, I am really going to try and make a better effort to post more often, I’ve been slacking off with this. But anyways, here is the latest post to the story.]
As Terra opened the door to her house, a scent of a freshly baked cake wafted into her nose. As soon as she caught the first wiff of the smell, her ears perked up and her eyes brightened, there was only one person who could be baking such a delicious cake. Terra bolted into the kitchen to find her father just finish with pouring the white icing all over the entire cake.
“Dad!” She yelled, overjoyed.
Her father turned around and smiled at her, he looked ridiculous wearing his military pilot uniform and his tall, poofy white chefs’ hat.
“Hey Terra.” Her father greeted. “You’re just in time to have a piece of my banana cake.”
“Not until after dinner!” Her mother yelled from the living room
“Aw, but dear…”
“No buts! you know the rules, honey.”
“Ugh, everywhere I go, I gotta follow orders.” The pilot-chef said glumly.
Terra giggled, it had been over a month since she last saw her father and it felt so good to hear his voice again.
Then she suddenly remembered what Sandy had asked her to do.
“Where’s Jay?” she asked.
“I need to tell him something rather important.”
“He’s upstairs in his room. What do you need to tell him?”
“Just that his major crush is taken.”
“Oooh… That happened to me more than once when I was younger. God, that was so frustrating back then…”
Jay twirled the propeller of his model British Spitfire plane when Terra came in through the door.
“How’d the meeting go?” He asked without even looking at his sister.
“Could’ve been better but, overall, it was pretty good. How did things go here?” Terra asked.
“Aside from Pilot coming home, nothing major really happened. I tried writing some love poems, but I failed miserably.”
“Yeah I know Dad’s home and that- wait- love poems?”
Jay looked and saw Terra giving him the ‘what the hell is happening to you?’ look.
“Why… the hell were you writing love poems!?”
“Hello? Do you I need to keep reminding you about this morning Jackie?”
“Oh god…” Terra rubbed her face as if she was exhausted. “…Am I ever going to hear the end of this?”
“Look Jackie, normally I wouldn’t write love poems but ever since Sandy had talked to me, I began feeling like this was a sign, a sign that said that this was the beginning of something more. Do you get what I mean?”
“I think I’m going to be sick…” Terra answered.
“Well whatever, I failed at writing a poem I was proud of… So I decided to write a love letter.”
“You do know that love letters are poems, right?”
“Ah yes, but it’s only called a love letter if you plan on giving it to the person you wrote your heart’s desire for.”
“What are you getting at, Jay?” Terra asked, with a slightly worried tone.
“I never planned on giving the poems to Sandy, and they turned out terrible, but maybe if I plan on giving one to her, I would subconsciously give it my all in writing a good poem. And, to my amazement, the letter turned out perfectly! I’m planning on putting it in Sandy’s locker next Monday, and when she reads it, she’ll then know she means the world to me.”
Terra stood in shock as Jay daydreamed about the whole scenario in his head.
“Oh jeez… Listen Jay, I’ve got to tell you something about Sandy, something I should’ve told you much sooner.”
“What is it?”
Terra opened her mouth to speak but as she looked into her brother’s eyes, she found herself unable to find the right words to tell Jay. She tried as hard as she could but it was no use, she couldn’t tell him, deep down she didn’t want to break Jay’s heart. After a petty excuse in saying that she forgot, Terra turned and left the room. She sat in the hallway until dinner was fully prepared, she needed to get her mind off of things, and her father was just the person.
[A little thing to know about Terra and Jay’s father: He, being a military pilot trained to fly jet fighters, flies many boring patrols with his squad. Every time he manages to find time to make it home, he always puts on his chef hat and makes a cake (he loves baking things, especially cake). He’s a pilot who loves cooking, but he usually only stays home for a few days before he heads back out again for another set of boring missions.
@Suitcase
I’m not frustrated with them, It’s just that that’s the most obvious flaw (at least, to me) there and I rather they weren’t there.]

This story is quite enjoyable ![]()
I can’t help but wonder though, if perhaps that information about their father couldn’t have been more effectively inserted into the story rather than added as a cliff note?
Poor Jay… Sandy ain’t nobody’s gal but Mike’s.

I felt like that it was important that I said something about him now, otherwise there may have been questions and confusion and…. I just thought it was a good idea at the time, maybe it was, maybe not.]

[another post from me in just under a day!? *whole world gasps in shock*. Yep, I got lucky tonight, and I have the computer all to myself for at least a little while.]
“So, Dad.” Terra said as she sat down in front of her plate of mashed potatoes and steaming mixed vegetables. “When we last talked, you said you probably wouldn’t be coming home for another week and that was just 2 days ago. How come you’re early?”
“Ah, that’s the beauty of the word ‘probably’ Terra.” Her father answered. “But, I’m just as surprised as you are. I’m gonna be staying here for a few weeks, maybe a month or two.”
“Really?” Jay said.
“Yeah, command called away my Falcon for an ‘emergency examination’.”
“They pulled away your F-16?” Jay asked.
“Not just mine but three entire squadrons, including my own.”
Everyone stopped eating.
“Did something happen?” The twins’ mother asked, concerned.
“Not that I know of.” Their father answered. “But I heard some rumors from the other guys that an F-16 exploded in mid-flight not 2 weeks ago.”
“What!?” Terra yelled in shock.
“That’s what some of the guys were saying.”
Jay, after swallowing a mouthful of mashed potato, shrugged his shoulders.
“They’re just rumors. Until I actually hear that its been proven, I’ll be skeptical about the whole thing.”
“Still though, I’m a little nervous now.”
“Pilot, you of all people shouldn’t be nervous.”
Jay saw his father sigh in annoyance.
“I’d really appreciate it if you started calling me dad again, Jay.”
The dark gray tabby didn’t say anything.
“Jay, why do you call everyone you know by a nickname?” His mother asked.
“I’m not really sure, I kinda prefer calling people by nicknames. Is that a problem?”
“Well, yes, it is Jay.” His father answered.
“You shouldn’t call your parents by other names unless it’s okay with us which it’s not.”
“Sorry, just a habit I guess.”
They continued eating in silence for a while. As soon as dinner was finished, the family began eating the simply delicious cake that had been made by the twins’ father. The rest of the night went by uneventfully, A few hours before bedtime, Terra grabbed out her diary and began writing her thoughts out…
[I have to cut this post short, I must go to bed. Hope you enjoyed it!]

[I’m back with another post, so far, I’m not doing very well in posting often, but end of the year stuff is very exhausting]
Dear Diary,
Today, unlike most Saturdays, has been rather eventful. The morning was the usual sort of thing, eating breakfast, arguing with Jay about who should get the computer, getting ready to go to the Dojo by Skateboard with a 50% chance of running into Sandy (which we did) but here’s where the schedule went different, Master Collin was also late and found me and Jay when I was about to beat the crap out of the idiot that is my brother. So, we got a lift to the Dojo and made it there much sooner then we normally would. It had been a while since I had seen Donny, and it was good to see him, it was also great to see James. I think James is getting better with not being afraid to open up about the fact that we’re together, even though we were just only holding hands and that he tried not to attract attention, I think this is a very good sign. I still can’t really explain why he wants to keep our relationship a secret. He’s so shy about himself, I was amazed when he asked me out 2 years ago. Speaking of relationships, it seems Sandy’s has taken a turn for the better, turns out that some days back Michael had called her and things got sorted out between them , and I’m really glad that it worked out, for her and Michael, even though I’ve never met him. But I still can’t help but worry for Sandy’s relationship, long distance relationships are somewhat difficult, a lot could go wrong. There could be a miscommunication or a lack of communication or… ugh, I have to stop worrying about other people’s problems, especially if they have nothing to do with me but damnit, I’m too nice. What I should try to deal with is Jay’s insane crush on Sandy. Jay is completely oblivious to the fact that everyone knows of his crush on Sandy, but I don’t think he would much care if he knew that everyone knew. Hell, even Sandy knows and I think she’s flattered, but remember how I said I was glad her relationship with Michael is working out? Jay is completely unaware of this, and he will find out about it sooner or later. But Sandy has asked me to be the one to tell him. Why me? Honestly, why is it always me that has to be the bearer of bad news? Okay, I’m not always the bearer of bad news but this will certainly break Jay’s heart and, though I think he is a complete moron, he is still my brother and I love him but… damnit why must I be a complete weakling!!!? Why can’t I just walk up to Jay and tell him that the girl of his dreams is already with someone instead of chickening out because I don’t want to hurt him!? Sandy wants me to tell Jay soon so that nothing bad happens in the future and I understand that but… god damnit why must Jay be so fragile? If he wasn’t I could’ve told him already and he would’ve been disappointed but he probably would’ve moved on after a while but that isn’t the case. I’m not sure if he’ll ever really accept it. Man, I’m such a wreck worrying over everyone’s problems. I need to get some sleep.
[I hope this gives some background to Terra’s personality, hopefully it won’t be long before I post again]

[I’m really excited! I am a writer by heart and have been inspired to write a fanstory on BBC! Before I begin, I would like to say thanks to Taeshi for giving me the thumbs up for posting this story, I hope you all enjoy!]
As Jay sped through the sidewalk on his skateboard, his twin sister, Terra, clutched on to his waist nervously.
“Jay.” the light-gray tabby cried out. “You remember the last time we did this?”
“Aw, come on, Jackie.” Jay replyed, using his sister’s nickname. “Can’t you forgive and forget about last week, so I crashed, big deal, I’ve been practicing since then.” Terra did not seem to ease herself.
“That’s exactly what you said last time, Jay!”
“Sheesh, Jackie!” Jay yelled. “Can’t you lighten up and trust me for once!?”
“I trust you all the time, Jay, except when we skateboard to the Dojo, because ‘coincidentally’, we always pass by-” Terra never finished her sentence when she saw three girls walking ahead in the opposite sidewalk, Jay staring at one of them, not noticing the garbage bins up ahead that he was unknowingly skating toward. Terra growled in frustration and fear.
“It’s the same goddamn story every time! Why can’t you pay attention to anything except Sandy when you see her!” She yelled, then jumped off and hoped the grass would be softer then the garbage bins that her brother was about to hit…
the three girls who were talking to each other were cute, but one of them was the most beautiful of all, Sandy… whenever Jay heard that name, he would always think of that beautiful girl, her blue emeralds that were her eyes, her black hair that made her beauty unmatched combined with her snow-white fur and kind-beyond-belief personality. Is it any wonder why he fell for such a beauty? he stopped his train of thought when he realized that Terra wasn’t holding on to him anymore
“Jackie?” He mumbled as he turned his head and noticed the garbage bins too late, all he could do before he collided, was scream and flinch.
[That’s all I’ll post for now! stay tuned!]
