All I use for any art that I post online is sloppily composed using a small Wacom tablet I got for Christmas and an outdated version of Corel Painter Essentials.
As for music, I have a piano as well as a keyboard which I connect to Garageband to do whatever it is that you do with a piano, a keyboard, and Garageband.

Whatever pencils are lying around, preferably the sharpest one available,

Either lined paper or printer paper depending on what I stole the week before,

A “borrowed” scanner,

Rudimentary photo-editing software,

A wild, but slightly twisted imagination,

And last but not least, a pair of editors.

Geeze Gabe, you must have used a lot of your money over the course of a couple years to get that stuff.

Ved of Flames July 7, 2010, 2:27 PM EST.

Comment ID #56185

GIMP was free, as was Corell Paint. My camera and most of my art books were gifts from friends of the family, Sharpies are inexpensive and tons can be found laying around my house, same goes for the highlighters. I’ve been using the same pigment liners for three years now, and the Sakura pigment liners I pretty much stole from my sister.

Everything else, I bought. So I guess I have spent a lot of money… The only on that list that my parents got for me was the tablet. It’s kinda funny considering that they hardly ever let me use it.

How did I forget blood and tears from my list!?

Gabriel Kaxbe July 7, 2010, 2:53 PM EST.

Comment ID #56193

Because tears don’t leave an actual trace and only you will know what did you draw or write? Believe me, i’ve been making lot of story’s made of tears, and by noon you can’t even read them…total waste of time at long time…but delightful at the moment…that’s true..

o.o Wow, you guys have so many different programs and special art supplies! Wish I could do more traditional stuff though.

Um. For sketching I use the Staedtler Mars Technico 2mm Lead Holder and either a random sketchbook I bought from some general store or white printer paper~ As for digital inking, the Wacom Inutos 3.

For traditional coloring, Crayola coloring pencils! Sometimes these cheap 100 marker sets in the children’s craft aisle. And for digital I use Photoshop CS3, although now and then I make pieces in Flash and openCanvas1.0.

No monies equals very little choice in programs to use.

Will use eraser if one is present, use scissors to sharpen them because they’re easier to use when i need a specific shape of the pencil.
Also,whatever i have lying around.

Music:my sax

Writing:I just don’t tend to write down what i make up,unless it have something to do with science(cliche:i treat science like art)

@corvusfrugilegus: Wow. I really like your digital. o.o And yeah, aside from the major bleed through of the markers, they’re actually very useful.

@Ved of Flames: It’s really super light when dull, but very very dark when fine. Only thing is that it doesn’t come with an eraser, but does come with a built in sharpener! It is geared towards more drafting purposes, but I love it for general sketching.

A pencil. That I found this one day on the ground. It had a nice eraser.
Paper. White.
A pen. If I don’t have my pencil on me.
Than scan into my computer and ink or color in Photoshop (CS5 most recently) using a crappy $20 tablet. Literally $20. New. Plus shipping.
I am a behemoth of art and literature. Obviously.
