But not older than say my Grandmother? Are we talking radio old? …older? (I think I know what you referencing but I’m not totally positive…I also don’t want to Google it just yet)
Comment ID #69101

@Noir: It’s rude to ask people about their age.
@(withoutname): That would depend on how frisky your family is in general. I’ll just say that it’s technically possible.
Comment ID #69104
actually it isnt rude
Comment ID #69105
lets say eighty years
Comment ID #69106
@Noir: Shit! I can’t make Jokes properly using this username! I was being sarcastic!
@Everybodywhobothertoreadthis: I can assure you that The Shadow is older than Guy Noir here.
Comment ID #69107

@9NAMELESS0: Turned 80 three days ago.

Night Noir… *thinks* so that would be from 1930, Great Depression era, sounds very familiar but I can’t put my finger on it. I want to say some manner of radio character, but might also be from a very early newspaper comic strip.
Comment ID #69112
Dead on with Radio Character, but he was also a feature in Magazines before that, first appearing July 31st, 1930.
Wikipedia would help, no?

Bah. I got yelled at by Megan.
Who knows what evils lurk in the hearts of man? The Shadow (*Ninja) knows!
(And causes it.)
Comment ID #69115
But he wasn’t called the Shadow in the magazines. The first use of the name was for the radio show which started on that date.
Sorry, but I just realized how unclear my post was. ![]()

Nice to have you back, sorry about Meg, Jerk.
Comment ID #69119
Hmmm interesting
Comment ID #69120
Don’t ask how I learned about that one.
Comment ID #69121
Ok, I won’t
Comment ID #69123
Thank you. Also, I’m actually a volunteer archivist now. In case you weren’t around during the past twenty-seven billion times I mentioned it.
Comment ID #69141
Whatever have you people been doing in the night/day/morning/evening/afternoon//noon/dawn/ dusk/twilight (bold out whichever fits)? I’m afraid I lost track somewhere around the place when DeadlySerious(*NinjaTime) manifested himself. ^_^
Comment ID #69187
so ninja is really Lamont Cranston wealthy man about town?
Comment ID #69201
I totally call dibs on making the next Random Chat
Comment ID #69203
Hell, why not? It’s all you, Gabe.
Comment ID #69204
But wait till we get to 1000 posts.
Comment ID #69218
You’d better give it a good name
Comment ID #69224
Oh, 1000 posts is nothing. Let’s make it a fifteen hundred. Just to keep dear Gabriel waiting. ^_^
No, I did not mean that. Sorry. ![]()
Comment ID #69228
Good idea, but 15,000 would be even more torturous. ![]()
Everyone in better spirits today?
Comment ID #69232
Maybe? I have no real way of measuring whether I’m happier than, or just equally happy to, what I was yesterday.
Although some people can tell by the amount of “^_^”s in my replies. ![]()
Comment ID #69233
Oh, that reminds me: Commie, how are you coming along with that Rugworthy Manor novel? ^_^
Comment ID #69237
It became stored as a Top Secret file last time I checked.
Comment ID #69238
Pfft. ILB can’t even pretend to be mean-spirited. x3
Comment ID #69239
Of course I cannot. That would be like having liquid water at 1500 degrees Celsius. ^_^
Comment ID #69240
Is that the point where it turns into plasma? ![]()
Comment ID #69241
Actually, I am not sure but it is certainly a possibility. Though calling it “water” is, in any case, meaningless (seeing as we have “ice” for solid and “steam” for gaseous forms).
Comment ID #69242
There is also liquid metallic gas at 20,000+, which is why Saturn’s core continues to defies logic.
Comment ID #69244
The book is coming along, but I honestly need to write another chapter soon. Lazy me is lazy~
Comment ID #69246
She’s too busy doing hip-thrusting interpretive dances. :o
Comment ID #69260
You’d think someone who doesn’t pay you doesn’t get the right to reprimand you. And yet here we are.
Comment ID #69264
What defines as “paying”? ^_^
Comment ID #69267
Compensation of any kind. I get nothing for doing this.
Comment ID #69269
Now, would you not say that being with such wonderful people as ourselves is payment enough? ^_^
Comment ID #69271
Actually, I don’t get internet there. I’m in class right now, so it really keeps me from being with such wonderful people as yourselves.
Comment ID #69272
Oh, you were referring to school? Well, naturally, there is nothing to be gained from education.
Apart from, you know, the knowledge and competence it yields. ^_^
Comment ID #69280
No, I mean I’m doing school but also volunteering as an archivist at the public library. I’m at school right now but I got reprimanded for not showing up today so I could prepare for an exam. I’m honestly not sure what they want from me.
Comment ID #69285
I’m utterly confused. But then again, I would be, wouldn’t I. ![]()
Comment ID #69288
Nah, it’s okay. I’m kind of upset so I might be incoherent.
Comment ID #69289
Really. ^_^
Comment ID #69290
Uh huh.
Comment ID #69291
@Jerk: You’re volunteering as an archivist? Why have you never once mentioned this before?
Comment ID #69292
Eh, you’re not any less coherent than you usually are. It’s just that I’m supposed to be sitting an home exam this week, so my head isn’t screwed on quite right today. ^_^
I am having difficulty not regarding your post as sarcasm, nameless. Am I right in this assumption?
