So how’d you get your username? Did you just make it up or was there a certain way how you got yours?

I got mine from when I made my first Youtube account, it was going to be a channel focused on Smash Bros videos, since Brawl was coming out soon. (Though in the end, it went on to be other things lol)

Let me state that my name is NOT taken from Greek mythology, thus the change in spelling. Don’t believe me? Here’s a link.

well, since this thread is, even though apparently copied, for explaining where usernames come from, i guess i’ll post to that purpose

Well, my username is not that common for a dutch guy like me. that’s because i made it up to moch some arab guy called Milosovic People might not know(i guess actually no-one knows) that the full name I used at the beginning of Andorandoric, is Andorandoric Mysnottovic. There was a time when I really hated the guy Milosovic. At that same time I was in a group for social skills, as I didn’t have them, back then. At the end of the training, all people in that group were asked to make an imaginairy character, and to act as that exact personality. That’s when I took my chance to bring Andorandoric Mysnottovic to life. the person was a maffia leader, who liked to watch girl-moviesXD but, when I got a life, I started getting more internet-accounts, for which I needed a screen-name. Since Andorandoric was already brought to life, i decided to use it for almost everything.

After going through 3 other names, a few years back I came up with the completely random name Norixinian, now this was annoyingly long and difficult to remember, it looked ugly. I shortened it to Norix, added Wolf at the end because I love wolves.
Most of you know why I’m Norix Zoom now, instead of Norix Wolf. X3

Long short story. I like to write a lot, but most of them are of themes like Sorrow, pain, hurt, loneliness, shadows and death. Although lot of people say they’re cool and stuff, i just write what i want and most of them i don’t like how they go or end. Poetry, narrative and stuff. So there…

I’ve used this name constantly with other forums but it first came in a role-playing game I played with my older brother. Ever since then I’ve used this name even most that I write.

Contrary to my post in the other thread, my forum name has a really stupid origin:

It was nearing finals week. In my Bio class we were playing a little game to refresh our memory. The only reason anyone cared was because the winning team got 15 percent added to their grade on the final test. My friends and I all agreed that we needed to win, and somebody said “We’ll have to be like the A Team to beat some kids in our class!” And me, being the smartest and wittiest of the group was like “Call me Hannibal.” We won. Later that day, I discovered BCB.

….The hell? I already made this forum though….And my title was cooler…

Yes, and it was epicly derailed. In a good way.

Lechies are forest creatures in Slavic Mythology. But I found it in a list of demons, and since it was the coolest name in the list I chose that as my nickname in my band. Not that we ever use those nicknames. Originally Lechies, soon I realised that was the plural form, so now I switch between Lechy and Leshy. The Captain part is inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean and One Piece!

I made mine up when i was seven years old. i used to draw some little alien guy all the time and i named him kvarra

My names origin is pretty stupid… My mom wanted me to go to the room with the computer in it, and she decided for some reason she wanted to call me by my full name, but instead of saying my name “Jesse Conor” she mashed them together accidently and yelled out Jescon, and for some reason that I can not remember I’ve been using this as my user name since.

Phonetic spelling of my first initial. Yeah, exciting… woo.

“The First” was added on to separate myself from another Jay who came along later and butchered the english language.
