Comment ID #60048

Yeah… fuck you church, fuck you Vatican and fuck you Archbishop Bergoglio.

Well… I’m happy that society is evolving here and I had to express it…

Actually i’m not gay but equal marriage was a necessity.

And in the process I could see the most reactionary sectors of society cry like bitches…

It was a WIN-WIN for everybody :D

(well not actually everybody, but for them… FUCK THEM)

Every time some third world country legalizes this it gets that much more embarassing for the United States. Fuck you South! You fuckers are holding us back! We’ll give Texas back to Mexico if you keep it up!

Hey not just the South…prop. 8 managed to pass in my state (embarassing as that is)
Also I’m not entirely sure Argentina would qualify as ‘third world’

oh man that video and the comments on it proved to me that I really am totally forgetting spanish, I didn’t know which one to support and the comments kept supporting the woman.. but then I noticed the comments kept saying “YEAH WOMAN FOR THE FAMILY” “FOR THE CHILDREN” and thought waitaminute that’s what idiots who don’t support gay marriage say

but the guy is a good one >8(

Yet another step in the right direction. But still the human race progresses too slowly.

don’t know if anyones mentioned this but as far as i know the bible never mentions a love OR hate for gays the speculation that god hates gays comes from something in the book of genesis where it says something that i think is simply misinterpreted to say god doesn’t like gays… personally i think it means god doesn’t like the idea of man fucking animals when he could fuck other humans think about when the bible was written practically no one knew what homosexuality was back then so how would the bible even mention it in the old book? its either a mistranslation or a misinterpretation to say god hates gays.

@random thinker
That’s from the Old Testament, the testament that SHOULD be forgotten when thinking of modern society.

yea i know it should be forgotten mostly because it came from an age where there was no freedom of any kind it was the churches way or be labeled a heratic and practically exiled from society but my point still stands that the new testament doesn’t mention gays at all my guess is the Christians didn’t want to have to stop using Leonardo-da-vincis various talents (according to some things in history he was gay, he was accused of sodomy and it was said his assistant was his lover).

unlike argentina, in brazil gay couples don’t are neither allowed to marry and have kids. But with this new law in argentina i guess that is just matter of time to change this law here on brazil. The most of gay couples are in sao paulo and rio de janeiro (Here on south are only truly manly mens… u_u)

@skylinefuax I don’t really want to get into the religious and political crap but you’re pretty much ignoring any involvement of jews in modern society.

@random thinker The old testament has some stuff against sex between two guys, I’m not bothered enough to check where, can remember Sodom though.
It says nothing against sex between two women.
There was no church because it’s the old testament, so you must mean religion, and somewhere after the jews went out of Egypt god told them to not have slaves, not to harm the weak and poor and if they do have slaves they must set them free after 7 years.

Sorry I just can’t someone on the internet being wrong.
