Justin clipped on his helmet and tied the laces on his shoes and, after saying goodbye to his parents, opened the front door of his house and left. He grabbed his bicycle from the garage and began pedaling down the street. As he pedaled, it suddenly dawned on him.
Oh no… School starts again tomorrow… ugh…
Suddenly depressed again, he pedaled much less energetically than he did. For a summer vacation, it wasn’t that bad so the fact that it was all over at the end of the day made it more depressing. He stopped his bike in front of a small building with a sign that proudly displayed: Uncle Pete’s Pizza Parlour, we’ll deliver in less than 30 minutes and if not you get your money back.
Justin opened the door and a bell next to it rang, signaling his arrival.
“I hope that’s you, Justin!” A voice called out from the kitchen.
“It’s me Uncle Lazlo.” Justin called back,
“Good. Someone made an order 5 minutes ago and I was getting worried you were gonna be late again.” A brown dog wearing a dirty apron came out holding a pizza box.
“Cheese pizza, Deep dish.” He exclaimed, handing the box to Justin. “The address is on that note.” Fingering the tiny slip of paper taped to the box.
“Uh… Uncle Lazlo.” Justin said. “You do know I haven’t gotten my work clothes on yet.”
“No time, now go! I’ve had too many free pizza’s delivered this summer and if I don’t get any money soon it’s gonna start costing me. Now please hurry up!”
Justin looked and read the address.
“Hey that’s…” His shoulders slumped. “Not again.”
After putting the pizza in the special bag and taking it with him to his bike, Justin pedaled back in the direction he came from. Not bothering to check the address again, he knew exactly where to go. When he arrived at the familiar house, he got off his bike and took the pizza out of the bag and walked over to the front door and rang the doorbell. A second later, the door flung open and standing there was a smiling brown cat.
“Hello Justin!” Molly greeted excitedly. “Come in, come in.”
“Morning Molly.” Justin smiled kindly. “I’d love to but I’m working…”
Molly continued smiling.
“…And you probably don’t care as usual. Alright, but 10 minutes, that’s the maximum I can stay.”
She nodded. “Fine, fine.”
Justin followed his friend inside and closed the door.behind him. He set the pizza box down on the table while Molly grabbed out a paper plate and took out two slices from the box.
“Where are your parents?” Justin asked.
“Kevin’s out working and Jana’s shopping for groceries.”
“And your brother?”
“Still looking for a job. Feel free to grab a slice of pizza.”
“Oh, I can’t.” Justin said, holding up his hands in a semi-defensive way. “Really.”
Molly gave him one of those looks. “Justin, why’d you think I ordered only cheese?”

Justin hated pizza with anything but cheese and knew that Molly wanted to celebrate something. He sat down on the couch beside Molly, who handed him another paper plate she had hidden beneath her plate. Justing grabbed a slice of pizza from the box and took a bite. It was good.
“So.” He said, after they ate for a bit. “What are we celebrating for this time?”
“We’re celebrating for tomorrow.” Molly answered.
“Why? What’s happening tomorrow? All that I can think of is school.” He took another bite.
“Exactly!” She said.
Justin stared, confused. “What?” his mouth full of pizza.
“School starts back up again tomorrow.”
“And that’s to celebrate for how exactly?”
“Because it’s the start of the final year.”
“Final year? Of what? Middle School?”
“Yes!” Molly said, very exicted now. “After this year it’s on to High School.”
“And more homework.” Justin said depressingly.
“Justin, you need to focus more on the upside of things. Think about it, once we reach high school it’ll be like a whole different world there.”
“One filled with homework, why are we celebrating this?”
Molly stared at Justin. He just doesn’t get it. She thought.
“Justin, we started as toddlers in Preschool, then we started Elementary School as children, then we came to Middle School as preteens. In one year, One year! We will be starting High School as Teenagers and after that it’s Adulthood. I’m not just celebrating the start of the last year of Middle School. I’m celebrating our growing up and moving on. Isn’t that worth celebrating for?”
Justin shrugged. “I guess.”
Molly moved a little closer to Justin.
“How come you’re so depressed, Justin? You weren’t like that years ago.”
“Things tend to change.” He answered.
“Tch, tell me about it.” She replied.
“So, if we’re celebrating us growing up. Why don’t we just celebrate that on our birthdays or everyday (since we do grow up a little everyday).”
“Birthdays are different, parents are usually involved with birthdays. As for everyday I would but my allowance only goes so far. Which reminds me…”
Molly got up and went upstairs to her room, she came back a few minutes later carrying some money in her hands. She handed the money to Justin, who started counting it to make sure it was enough (it was).
“I should probably get going.” He said.
“Alright. Thanks for staying and celebrating with me.” Molly said and waved her friend goodbye.
Justin waved goodbye and got back on his bike, despite the fact that he dreaded tomorrow still, seeing Molly always brought his spirits back up. Molly closed the door, smiling. She turned and noticed the pizza on the table and her smile disappeared.
“Oh… Right. How do I explain this to my parents?” She mumbled.

One slight nitpick:
Justin is 7
Molly is 10
therefore they are not in the same year, so if Molly were to start high school, Justin would still be quite a while before reaching the same year! The story just implied they’re in the same grade.
I am absolutely loving this up though ;___; oh my god Molly Justin adventure whoaayes

*Stares blankly* Was there any mention of Justin’s age anywhere? Hold on, let me check… *checks all comics that Justin was in*
… Wonderful, I just myself a complete fool! God damnit! This is THE biggest, irreparable mistake I have ever made when writing a story… god ****ing damnit I can’t believe it!
Note to self: Always, ALWAYS get any and all info of all characters BEFORE you write a Fanfic! *sobs*

You could always say it’s slightly AU.

I don’t want to pull the alternate universe excuse though, it just gets downright cheesy if you use the same excuse time and time again. I don’t know I… Wait a minute *gets an idea and smiles* I could use it… Heheheh. I’d considered doing this idea when I first wrote this story. I can work with this, I can.

Justin’s a fucking time traveler, isn’t he?
Comment ID #61115
What? No! I wouldn’t do something like that with this story. Maybe with Time Cops but not with this, I wanted this story to be one of the more realistic (In terms with the actual BCB story) stories. Obviously it will have to be a little less realistic due to my stupid, stupid age mistake (God, I’m still beating myself over that) but not that unrealistic.
Comment ID #61119
Molly could have been held back a few grades…she did say Abbey was the smart one….
But seriously, if it were AU, it would be really slight. I mean, the two universes would be almost completely parallel. No talking dinosaurs or anything.
But, hey, whatever you’re planning, go for it.
Comment ID #61128
Tayvin, it’s easily fixable. Justin didn’t really outright say “I am going to High School”, Molly could just be speaking like they’re all around maturing even though she’s the one that’s entering high school, you know? It’s vague enough to work even though you said you had a save already XD
Rasputin: Molly does well in school, SORRY BRO

Maybe Justin is incredibly smart, and skipped grades? I don’t know.
Good story so far though!

Justin spent the next few hours of his day delivering pizza, why people would want pizza early in the morning he would never know. But he didn’t outrightly questioned them. He just handed the pizza and got his money. He walked up and knocked on the door. The house he was delivering to seemed pretty beaten up. The door opened to reveal a mostly orange-furred cat staring down at him.
“Ah, good.” He said when he saw the pizza box. “I’m starving. Here’s the money.”
The cat handed Justin the money. While he counted to make sure it was enough, he snuck a look at the inside of the house.
“House looks poor.” He said blankly.
“Yeah.” The cat replied, scratching the back of his head. “We’re so poor we usually don’t have enough money to buy pizza but I won a bet with a friend.” He grinned.
“Oh really? What was the bet?”
“I’m not gonna tell you but let’s just say my friend has to buy the pizza and watch as I eat it.” The cat grinned. “Right, David!?” He called behind him.
“Blasphemy, I tell you!” Rang a disturbingly familiar voice. “BLASPHEMY!”
Justin’s eyes went wide.
“Right, then I’ll just go, enjoy your pizza.” Justin said quickly and slammed the door shut. He shuddered.
Walking back to his bike, he noticed a sign posted on the pole his bike leaned on. The word: MISSING in bold. At first interested, he quickly got bored of it. It was the same Missing notice that had been all over Roseville for years. A cat that went missing years ago, it was mystery for some time but eventually it got forgotten. Justin got on his bike and pedaled away.
Once he had returned home, he immediately noticed his parents were gone. He saw a note on the table saying that his parents were off going to do whatever the hell they were going to do. He didn’t care. He walked over to the living room and noticed a pizza box on the table.
“Hey.” A voice greeted from behind him, making him jump. Justin turned and noticed Molly standing behind him.
“Bwaa! Molly! What are doing here!?” This had been the first time Molly was in his house.
“I didn’t… Um… Exactly tell my parents about the pizza so I thought it was best to bring it here.”
“But… I never told you where I lived how did you know where to look?”
“Your uncle owns a pizza parlour, remember? I just asked him.”
Ah! Damnit Uncle Lazlo why didn’t you tell me? Justin questioned but he calmed down.
“Right. So, what are you going to do now?”
Molly shrugged.
“I guess I could stay here for a while. What are you going to do?”
Justin shrugged and turned walked over to the TV.
“Maybe watch a movie, or read a book.” He said as he looked for a movie to watch.
“What about just watching TV?”
“Oh, we don’t have cable.”
Molly stared, shocked.
“What? You don’t have cable? Why do you not have cable?”
“The internet’s much more convenient.”
Molly nodded.
“I don’t really get the internet. Too confusing.”
“What?” Justin turned away from the movies and looked at Molly. “Miss Straight A’s doesn’t get the internet? Surely not!” He said sarcastically.
“Yeah, yeah laugh it up.” Molly said, obviously embarrassed.
[I imagined Justin would be pretty good with computers and Molly not so much. That’s what I imagined to be anyway.]

“Heh, so anyways, I don’t really have a preference for what movie to watch. Do you?” Justin asked.
“Well, let me have a look.” Molly said, kneeling next to Justin.
“Ugh…” She said. “Awful lot of chick flicks in here.” She stuck her tongue out in disgust.
“Blame my mom.” Justin said.
“Quite a few Sci-fi movies too.”
“Blame my dad.”
“And… Documentaries?”
“Yeah… Blame me.”
“I didn’t know you were big on history.” Molly said.
“Some parts of history, yes.”
“I’m amazed that there aren’t any… well, other kinds of movies.”
“My parents hate every other kinds of movies except for there favorites. They have very different tastes in movies.”
“Not very flexible, are they?”
Justin shook his head. “No, they’re not.”
Molly looked back at the shelf with the TV and all the movies.
“Why don’t we watch this one?” She pointed to one of the video cases.
“That one? Yeah, okay.”
As the movie started, Justin and Molly sat down on the couch. Then, it dawned on Justin: He was in his house, his parents left to take care of something and he was watching a movie with the girl of his dreams and suddenly he was one of the happiest people in the world. He glanced at Molly, who seemed to be deep in thought.
“Hmm… We’re missing something.” She said.
“We are? What’s missing?”
“A large silver bowl… filled with popcorn, that’s what we’re missing. Do you have any popcorn and if so could you please make some? Please~?”
Without a word, Justin got up and grabbed the largest silver bowl he could find and grabbed a packet of unmade popcorn and put it in the microwave. After it was done, Justin grabbed the now bloated bag of popcorn, opened it and poured its contents onto the bowl. After placing the bowl on the couch, Molly took a few pieces of popcorn and popped them in her mouth.
“Now, the movie can really be enjoyed.” She said.
Okay, he was in his house, his parents left to care of something and he was watching a movie with the girl of his dreams while eating popcorn with her, now he was one of the most happiest people in the world. For the next while, they sat, ate popcorn, watched the movie and discussed about different things. When it was over and the credits started rolling up the screen, Justin stopped it pressed the rewind button.
“Well, thanks for having me over, Justin.” Molly said, smiling.
Justin returned the smile.
“My pleasure.” He said.
Molly waved goodbye and closed the front door. She took a few steps down the sidewalk and stopped.
“Was this a good visit?” She mumbled to herself, she then nodded. “Yeah, it was a good visit.” She continued walking on cheerfully.
Justin smiled, thinking that nothing ruin his mood, but as soon as he turned around and saw the pizza box with the stale pizza and the silver bowl half-filled with popcorn, his smile disappeared.
“Right, how do I explain this to my parents?” He asked himself.
[ah, humour, do I succeed at it? Possibly.]

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
The alarm clock beeped loudly. Suddenly, at lightning speed, a hand moved out from under the sheets and grabbed the shouting clock. Another second and it was flung across the room, slamming against the wall, it fell silent. Justin groaned, today was the first day of the new school year, he groaned again.
“Come on, Justin!” His mother called from outside his door. “First day of school! And you’re not going to be late for that!”
Another groan, and Justin rolled off the bed. Literally. He regretted rolling off the bed because hitting the floor hurts. After Justin got up and got dressed and put his goggles on, he went down stairs to find his already full backpack containing all the things he’d need for school. As he grabbed the pack and put his shoes on, his mother handed him a small, brown bag.
“Last night, you forgot to make lunch for yourself so I did you a little favor.” His mother said, smiling. “But no more freebies after this.”
“Thanks, mom.” Justin said, taking the bag and leaving.
Grabbing his bike from the garage, Justin pedaled down the street toward his school. When he arrived, he parked it next to a few other bikes locked up. After making sure his bike was safe, he walked over and opened the door that lead inside. He was to enter when he heard snickering next to him. Justin looked and saw 2 cats and a dog, snickering and staring at him.
“Hey Cid, how’s life?” Sam, a mostly black cat with a white stripe along his nose to his forehead as well as white fur along his hands and, possibly, his feet but the dark shoes he wore covered them. His dark long coat that he wore everyday covered most of his body, even his head if he had his hood up, which he did.
“You having fun playing Final Fantasy, nerd?” Jeremy, a white cat with black stripes all across his fur (whether they were natural or painted Justin did not know) and Sam’s younger but more cruel brother, he wore nothing except for a bright red armband around his right wrist. His unusually pointy ears were always folded back, not like Molly’s where she looked sad but like he was ready to attack, it creeped Justin out.
Lawrence, a German Shepard, continued smiling an evil smile at Justin. He wore a gray shirt with skulls on it as well as black pants.
Justin looked away, not saying a word, and went inside. The three kids watched for a moment, then snickered some more. Justin took only a few steps when we was stopped by Molly.
“There you are!” She said.
“How do you know where to find me? This happens everyday.” He said, then he quickly shook his head. “I mean, hi Molly! What is it?”
Every now and then, Justin’s thoughts tend to to escape through his mouth and it can be very annoying.
“It’s not that I keep finding you, it’s that you keep running into me. Please tell me you brought your camera?”
“Uh, yeah I did, why?”
“Good! I need you to take a picture, it’s hilarious!” Before Justin could say anything, Molly dragged him off through the hall and did not listen to his protests.

“Molly? Where are you taking me?” Justin asked.
Molly smiled and giggled a little. “Just wait until you see, oh man, he’s going to hate me for this but I can’t resist. Get your camera ready, Justin.”
“It’s kind of hard when you’ve got hold of my arm.”
“Use your other arm, dummy.”
“Ugh…” She never listens, never does. The dog thought glumly as he struggled to get his camera from his bag.
They made another turn through the hall and Molly suddenly stopped.
“There he is.” She said in a whisper. Justin looked and saw no one but a janitor moping the floor.
“Quick!” Molly said. “Take a picture before he sees us.”
“Who is he?”
“Look closely.” Molly said with a smirk. Justin scrunched his eyes as he tried to see who the janitor was. Then, he noticed his fur looked similar to Molly’s, saw the familiar face but it was the large ears that confirmed it. Justin’s mouth dropped.
“I-is that…?”
“Yep. I guess he found a job but… Wow. Take a picture, quick! He’s never going to live this down!”
Justin got his camera out and made sure all the settings were corrected. Looking through the lenses and carefully getting a good shot of Abbey’s face, he didn’t look too happy. Unfortunately, the flash the camera made attracted his attention, upon seeing Molly, his shoulders slumped and he groaned.
“Oh no… This can’t be happening.” He said. “Tell me you didn’t just do what I think you just did!?”
“Um… Don’t be mad at me.” Justin said defensively. “Be mad at her.” Gesturing to Molly.
I shouldn’t get involved in sibling rivalries He thought.
“Sorry Abbey.” Molly said. “But, a janitor!? What is that all about?”
“It was the only job that would take me.” Abbey grumbled.
“But what happened to all that talk about going to university?”
“This job is to pay for university!” Abbey said in a more aggravated tone.
Molly stared for a minute, then looked to Justin, who stood and observed the conversation silently.
“Do janitors make a lot of money?” She asked.
Justin shrugged.
Before Molly asked the question to her brother, a loud bell rang across the school.
“Oh dear, we better get to class, Molly.” Justin said.
“Right, we’ll finish this later.” Molly said to her brother, then turned and ran down the hall, with Justin following.

[It’s been awhile since I posted on this, but I like this story, and I’m not letting it go yet.]
“Right!” The Bandog called out when he slammed his desk with his hands, causing the entire class to sit straight up from the shock.
“Two months…” He said, and he repeated the words multiple times. “Two months two months two months two months two months. Tell me, you kids, did you do anything (and by do I mean learn) over those two months?”
He stood as everyone in their desks sat unmoving.
“Anyone? Come on, don’t be shy, lift up your hands.” The anger in his voice was obvious to Justin that this guy didn’t want this job as the Science teacher. One kid lifted his hand.
“Yes?”
“Um… Well, actually it’s a question…” The student said nervously.
The teacher grunted in aggravation then nodded for him to continue.
“Well… What happened to our Science teacher last year?”
“She was fired.” The dog answered. “I’m your new teacher, if you haven’t figured that out already, and if you haven’t already then you won’t last this class, believe me. You can call me Mr.Rorrigan.”
Mr.Rorrigan… Justin repeated in his mind. If he were more friendly, maybe I could’ve started calling him Rory. I wonder if that is his name, that may be another thing that’s making him a crank.
“Your teacher last year was fired because the marks you gave last year were terrible which means you haven’t learned anything last year. Did any of you make up for some of that lost knowledge over the two month break? No? I didn’t think so.”
Everyone was silent as a dreading horror began to dawn on all of their faces.
“Because none of you did anything over the break, I’m going to assign you some work.”
There it was. Those dreading words that everyone feared. First day of school and the Science teacher was already giving them homework. Justin hated the word more then he hated school. This gives his Science class of the year to be a 1.5 out of 10.
“You’ll be given a worksheet from my assistant, follow the instructions on the sheet. Liam, give them the sheet.”
The white cat with dark hair who sat at the back of class separate from the students nodded and stood up carrying a large pile of sheets of paper. One of the students, upon receiving his sheet and reading the first sentence, lifted his hand.
“Um… Mr.Rorrigan, what if my computer doesn’t have internet?”
“This is the 21st century, you should have internet. If not, you can spend some extra time in this class at lunch or after school if you like but that’s not suggested, since I don’t like arrogant, idiot kids like you.”
Oh god, he hates us more then the Coach. Justin realized.
When the bell rang, Justin hurried out of the classroom and down to his next class when something grabbed his shoulder.
“Hey, Cid.” Jeremy’s voice called. Justin turned and noticed him and his brother Sam looking at him.
“Hey guys.” Justin greeted in an uneasy tone. “Where’s Lawrence.”
“Detention.” Sam answered.
“Already?”
“I’m afraid so.” Jeremy answered, putting his arm around Justin’s shoulders and pulling close enough so he could whisper to the nervous dog. “Now, that Mr.Rorrigan is not the best teacher, is he?”
Justin made a quick nod in answer.
“Already gave me and my brother an assignment. On the first day of school, how wrong is that?”
Justin merely nodded more slowly, he knew where this was going.
“Now, me and my brother, and Lawrence have held our end of the deal for last school year and summer vacation. Now, it’s your turn.”
Jeremy handed the two sheets that was his and his brother’s assignment.
“I’ll get these done.” Justin said.
“Good man.” Jeremy smiled.
“You kept your end of the deal over the months?” He asked.
“Cid, we may not get along and I may steal your stuff but I’m a man of my word. I stayed away, didn’t even look and that goes the same for Sam and Lawrence. I’ve made sure they kept their bargain as well.”
“Good.” Justin said with a sigh.
“Lawrence will hand you his sheet as soon as he gets it. Good luck.” Jeremy said, then let go of Justin, who immediately began walking away.

lol, Abbey vs. Liam. That’s sounds interesting.
Earlier post because I won’t have time later on.]
The day passed by, Justin and the rest of the school was reintroduced to the very familiar teachers of the school, including the Coach and the crazy Sex Ed teacher. As lunch came around, Justin found a quiet seat away from most of the kids. After taking a few bites of his sandwich, he reached into his pack and brought out his camera. After adjusting a few of the settings, he began taking pictures of the area around him, each one at a different angle. The point to it all? Nothing, he just loved taking pictures.
After about 5 pictures, Justin came to a new angle where he saw Jeremy and Sam sitting at a table in the distance, both looking at opposite directions. Justin looked closer through the lenses and noticed Jeremy flirting with some girls. But Sam seemed to be looking farther ahead of where he was. Justin traced the position of his head to what he was looking at. Sitting at another table were multiple girls, all of them chatting amongst each other. One of them was Molly. Justin darted his head and camera back to Sam and saw him still staring in the same direction. He thought he could a small smile appear on the cat’s lips, and his ears remained folded back like he was ready to pounce. Justin was about to get up and beat some sense into Sam when he noticed Jeremy see what his brother was doing and got his attention with a nudge. Although he couldn’t hear or tell what they were saying, he could tell Jeremy was scolding Sam.
Good, Jeremy hasn’t changed at all over summer vacation. I’m really glad he’s still honest.
After taking a picture with the group of girls Molly was talking with, Justin put away his camera and was about to eat his sandwich when someone slammed a sheet of paper in front of him. Justin looked and saw Lawrence staring down at him.
“That’s my assignment for Science. Don’t screw this up.” With that said, he turned and went to regroup with Jeremy and Sam. Justin quietly put the wrinkled sheet in his pack and set about eating the rest of his lunch.
[A little shorter but I don’t think that’s a problem. Right?]

“With Mr.Rorrigan as my Science teacher this year, it’s going to be brutal.” Molly said. Justin nodded. The school day was over and everyone was now walking home. Justin had his bike next to him as he walked with Molly to her house since her house was closer to the school.
“I mean, look at the assignment he gave me!” Molly presented the sheet she held. Justin nodded again. “I’m terrible with computers, especially if it involves the internet.”
“Oh, you’ll do fine.” Justin said reassuringly. “You handled Science well last year and the year before, you can do it again this year.”
“Mr.Rorrigan is judging us with this assignment, if I fail this assignment, it’ll be extremely difficult for me to get a good mark in Science for the year.”
“I say it again, Molly, you’ll do fine. You’re a brilliant girl.”
Molly slowed her step a little and glanced at her friend.
“You think so?”
“Course I think so, you’ve gotten marks that I could only dream of getting.”
From what Justin could tell, Molly seemed impressed by that.
“hm. Well, just because this assignment requires the internet. Can you come over to my place sometime and give a hand?”
The dog stopped dead in his tracks.
“Woah! What? Are you serious?”
Molly stared and nodded like it was obvious.
“Um, right, I’ll definitely come over to help, anyday. Um, is 6:30 okay?”
“6:30? Yeah, it should be fine.”
“Uh, great. Listen, I need to run ahead and take care of a few things at home, I’ll see you soon, okay?”
“See you then.” They both smiled at each other as Justin got on his bike and strapped on his helmet. As he pedaled to his house, he noticed his heart was pounding, and he doubted it was because of the excercise. The girl of his dreams had invited him over to help with a homework assignment, he had only invited once and that was years ago… it didn’t go so well. Not that it was Molly’s fault. Regardless, Justin was in a good mood, a very good mood. So good a mood that when he saw some people moving boxes and furniture in a mostly empty house he decided to offer to help them.

As Justin rode closer to the house, he noticed two dogs in the middle of an arguement.
“I don’t think we really need a radio, Martha.” The tall dog said, the man’s fur was a very light brown and he had some kind of band around his rather long tail, his right ear was pierced and had a gold earring and his sunglasses gleamed in the sunlight.
“I strongly disagree, Munroe. You have no idea how useful radios can still be.” Martha, the other dog, wore a white dress and wore one of those hats that some people wear when they go gardening. Her fur was completely white and she seemed to not have any tail whatsoever.
“We have TV and the internet now, Martha. We don’t really need radios anymore.” Munroe said. Their voices didn’t have any anger in them, so it must have been a very light arguement.
“What if theirs a power outage? The radio can be very handy then.” Martha countered.
“Oh and how often do power outages happen?” Munroe said.
“Um, excuse me?” Justin called out. Both of them looked to Justin when he called.
“Oh, hello.” Martha greeted.
“Are you two moving in, here?”
“Yes we are, in fact.” Munroe said. “My name’s Munroe and this is my lovely wife, Martha.”
“Pleasure to meet you.” Martha greeted. Justin nodded, smiling.
“I’m Justin, welcome to the neighberhood, I guess. Do you need any help with moving anything in?”
They seemed surprised by the sudden offer but Munroe quickly composed himself.
“Um, yes actually, we would love some help if you’re not too busy.”
“I’ve got a few hours to spare.” He said.
“Great!” Munroe clapped his hands and picked up a brown cardboard box and gestured for Justin to pick up another. Justin complied and followed Munroe inside.
“So, where are you moving from?”
“Far, far away. In a magical place called Canada.” Munroe said.
“How many times have I said enough with that?” Martha said as she picked up another box listed ‘Fragile’.
“Canada? That far? Wow.” Justin said. “That’s pretty far, why come all the way here to Roseville?”
“Job reasons, they’re very complex and I don’t want to get into that right now.” Munroe said.
Justin placed the box in the kitchen next to the one Munroe had placed and followed him outside.
“So, what do you think of the States, so far?” Justin asked.
“Well, too noisy but pretty good, I don’t know, give me a few more days and I’ll give you an answer.” Munroe answered as he picked up another box. “Can you bring that other box to the upper floor? You can just put it in the hallway.”
“Sure thing.” Justin picked up the rather heavy box that Munroe had gestured to. As he struggled to carry it up the stairs, he focused completely on where his feet were going and not dropping the box. He was so focused on those two things, he failed to noticed someone else running down the stairs.
“Wha!?-OOF!” Was all Justin heard before knocking into the person and then about to fall back and tumble down the stairs. But before he knew it, the person he knocked into grabbed him and pulled him up close, saving him from a lot of pain.
“Woah… Um, thanks, I-” He never finished his sentence when he saw who had him around her arms. The girl was around his age, her frontside of her fur was completely white, while her back and tail were a dark, dark brown. Her dark, unruly hair was kept back away from her face.
“You okay?” She said. Justin only stuttered in answer and she giggled.
“Is everything alright?” Munroe called from below.
“Disaster was avoided Dad.” The girl called back. “Who’s the guy I saved from down?”
“Oh, that’s Justin, he’s a complete stranger who offered to help. So far this country isn’t much different from ours.”
“Well, hi Justin. Let me help take this upstairs.”
“Uh…Um, er, okay…” Justin stuttered. The girl let go of him and helped carry the box up the rest of the stairs.
[Once again on time, I’m on a role.]

[Look! A surprise post! woot!]
“I’m Cally. But my friends used to call me Cal before I moved.” The girl said as she and Justin set the box down.
“Nice name, thanks for helping me.” Justin said.
“It’s my pleasure. Actually, in all seriousness, it is my pleasure. I tend to have a hard time making friends and yet we just moved in and already I’m on a good start.”
Justin looked up at Cally in confusion.
“You consider me a friend already?”
“Yeah.” Cally nodded. “I mean, you offered to help my parents, who are complete strangers to you, to move some stuff into the house for no apparent reason and I helped you move a particularly heavy box up the stairs after you bumped into me and nearly fell to a painful death and you’re also pretty cute.”
Justin was taken aback.
“Woah… did you just call me cute?”
Cally nodded like it was no big deal. “Yeah. Why so surprised? Do most people not call you cute?”
“No… I tend to get made fun of rather than being called ‘cute’. Plus you’re a girl.”
“What’s the fact of me being a girl got to do with anything?”
Justin stared at her for a moment, trying to think of what to say. Do all canadians act like this? he questioned.
“Um… well… Nevermind.” He quickly said.
Cally nodded.
“So, Justin, what’s the school like?” She asked, thinking (correctly) that Justin wanted the subject changed.
“Well… Nice, I suppose. I’ve never been to another middle school.”
“Do you have any friends? Maybe I’ll get to know them.”
“Friends? Yeah, I’ve got some. There’s Molly… and, um…. that’s about it.”
“Molly? Can you tell me about her? She sounds nice.”
“Well Molly… Is absolutely brilliant, funny and fun to be with, and really…” The more he began talking about Molly, the more clearly she showed up in his head, smiling at him. “…Really, beautiful. Those green eyes, and the smile she has, best smile in the world. She’s also very, very strong in that nothing gets her down… and yet she seems down at the same time.”
“Hey Romeo!” Cally said. “Wake up! Get back to the real world.”
“Huh- wah!?” Molly’s image disappeared when he blinked in surprise, the next moment he was looking at Cally.
“Yikes! This Molly has you under her spell!” She stated.
“Woah before you jump to any conclusions I do not-”
“Dude. The way you talked about her, the way you tilted your head up slowly as your eyes became more dreamlike? Don’t try and tell me you don’t have a thing for her.”
A blush began to show on Justin’s face, he couldn’t think of what to do or say. Cally giggled when she saw the blush.
“Oh come on! Don’t be embarassed, it’s perfectly normal. I wasn’t embarassed when I said you were cute, right?”
“Well, um… uh…”
“Man, you’re so tense and protective of yourself. Come on, Justin. If you’re worried I’ll tell Molly, I won’t unless I absolutely must.”
“I’m not sure that’s very comforting.” Justin said in a tiny voice.
“Lighten up, Justin. Seriously, your cute but it only goes so far if your… I’m looking for a word that fits you… Is awkard the correct thing to use?”
Man, I wish I had that canadian trait of not being embarassed. Justin thought.

Hehe, that trait fails even the best of some Canadian from time to time, I know first hand ![]()

[@Rukral
Yeah, but Justin doesn’t know that.]
“You know… Um, I should probably get home, I have a few things I should take of and then I’m visiting Molly later.” Justin managed to say, then turned and walked down the stairs.
“Oh really? Well, tell her I said hi.” Cally said.
“You don’t know her, though.”
“Not right now, but in the future, I will.”
“Um… Alright.”
“I hope to see you tomorrow.” She called down the stairs.
As Justin walked to the front door. Munroe noticed him leaving.
“Leaving already?”
“Yeah, I’ve got some things I need to care of at home, plus I’m going over to a friend’s place later.”
“Alright. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.”
“Oh, no problem. Take care.”
“You too.”
Justin walked out of the house and grabbed his bicycle, after putting his helmet on and getting on the bike he pedaled down the road. When he got home, he parked his bike in the garage and went inside, immediately heading for his bedroom where his computer was. He checked the time and saw that it was 4:45. I’ve got to get Jeremy’s, Sam’s and Lawrence’s assignments done. And fast! He thought, immediately getting to work.
[A shorter post today, but I’ll make an extra one later today. and that’s a promise.]

Miraculously, Justin managed to complete all three of the extra assignments, when he checked the time, he found it was 6:03. Good, plenty of time to get ready. Justin spent the next twenty minutes preparing for his visi. He took a shower, made sure his fur looked perfect, picked the cleanest and nicest clothes, cleaned his goggles, and brushed his teeth. By the time he was supposed to go, he looked better then he ever did before. As he walked to the front door, his mother noticed his new look.
“My goodness, Justin, if I didn’t no better I’d say you were off on a date.” She said. There was clatter heard in the kitchen and a loud voice rang out.
“What’s that? Justin’s off on a date!?”
“No, dad, I’m not.” Justin said.
His dad popped his head out of the kitchen and examined him.
“You’re dressed for one. But, then again, you’re still wearing the goggles.”
“I’m still wearing them because she likes me wearing them.” Justin immediately regretted ever saying that, for his dad’s eyes grew wide with excitement.
“You are on a date!!” He yelled, a wide grin on his face.
“No I’m not! I’m just going to her place!” Justin’s parents immediately had a suspicious on their faces and he then realized his mistake.
“Really?” They both said.
“NO NOT LIKE THAT!!!” Justing yelled, waving his arms defensively. “I’m just helping her with some homework!”
His mother crossed her arms and he knew instantly that it didn’t convince them.
“Justin. It’s the first day of school, how could you possibly have homework?”
“Don’t think that me and your mother have forgotten the little hints we used as teenagers. Right dear?” His father winked to his mother and she giggled. Justin felt sick all of the sudden.
“Oh god, guys I really have to go.” Justin said as he turned and walked away to the door.
“Let me know how the sex went.” His dad called out, making Justin cringe and his mother walk up and slap his dad.
“Ow! What on earth did I say!?”
Justin didn’t hear the rest when he closed the door, he growled a little.
“Ugh…Paranoid lunatics! The both of them!!” He then walked over to the garage and grabbed his bike. After strapping on his helmet, he pedaled down the road.

HAHAHAHAHA
I am so in love with this, oh my god <3 I adore how Justin is so awkward and shy and cute.. then again he seems like the most normal and down-to-earth honestly. This is really great, and you seem to be doing quite well with introducing little side characters. Cal sounds cute.

As Justin got closer to the front door of Molly’s house, he began getting a growing sense of nervousness. Perhaps he went overboard in trying to look nice? Or underboard? His mind was buzzing and his heart was racing when he rang the doorbell. After a few moments of waiting, the door opened to reveal Molly. Justin’s eyes grew wide. Is it just me or did she dress up nicely too!? He thought.
“Um…Hey Molly.” He said weakly.
“Hey Justin!” She greeted excitedly.
“You’re… um, dressed nicely.”
“Yeah, Jana wanted me to wear something nice when I told her you were coming. You’re dressed rather formally too.”
“Uh, my parents wanted me to wear something nice too.” He lied.
“Well, come on. We better get this assignment done. There’s a computer in Abbey’s room.” Molly said as she ushered the dog in and led him upstairs.
“You sure your brother won’t mind?” Justin asked, Molly shook her head.
“Nope, I asked him earlier if I could use the computer, he wasn’t to happy when he heard I had homework on the first day of school and said he’d talk to Mr.Rorrigan and see what his deal was.”
“I really doubt he’s going to pay attention to a janitor.” Justin teased.
“I don’t know, maybe Daisy will put in a good word as well.”
“You do she’s not a teacher yet?”
“She’s training to be one.”
“It’s not really the same, Molly.”
When they entered Abbey’s empty room, Justin saw the computer on the other side, and it was on.
“Heh, guess he left it on for us.” He said as he sat down.
“I’ll go grab the sheet. Be right back!” With that said, Molly turned and left. Then, Justin remembered. Oh crap! I left my sheet at home! Oh….I’m a forgetful idiot… Justin put his head to the desk and groaned.
“Back! Okay, so what’s the first-? Justin? Are you okay?” Molly asked as she walked over to Justin.
“I left my homework at home…” He groaned.
“Oh? Is that it?” She tilted her head in confusion. “That’s not a big deal, just take care of it when you get back home.”
“Yeah but I wanted to get ours done at the same time.”
“Well, I can wait here while you run back and get it.”
“No way. I’m here now, I might as well help you with it now.” Justin lifted his head and stared at the screen.
“So.” He said after a moment of silence. “Where do we go to first?”

“There’s one thing I still don’t get.” Molly said after completing the last question on the sheet.
“What’s that?” Justin asked.
“What does the E in E-mail stand for?”
“I think it means ethernet mail, is it that important?”
“No. but it’s been in the back of my head for some time.” She shook her head. “It just confuses me.”
Justin shrugged, then set about to shutting down the computer.
“So.” Molly said. “Still moping that school has started?”
“Nah. By the time the first day of school starts, I usually accept that school has started and then I focus on when Christmas comes.”
“This Christmas is gonna be good.” Molly declared. Justin looked at her oddly.
“Really? What makes you think so?”
“I know so.”
Justin suspected something, but he didn’t pry any further and decided to change the subject.
“What time is it?”
Molly looked to the clock on the side of the room.
“7:00. It took about half an hour to get it done.”
Justin merely nodded. Now, he was in a bit of a dilemma. He came over specifically to help Molly with her homework assignment but now it’s done. He had no reason to stay but he didn’t want to leave.
“I should probably go.” He said very reluctantly. Although he wanted to stay, he wasn’t sure if Molly’s parents were alright with him staying a little longer, and he had his own homework to take care of.
“Alright, well, take care.” Justin could’ve sworn he saw a flicker of disappointment in her eyes. “Thanks for the help.”
“My pleasure.”
“See you tomorrow.”
“Yep.”
“Don’t let the bedbugs bite.” She said.
“I won’t.” With that, Justin left the room. Molly sat on her brother’s bed and waited until she heard the sound of the door opening and closing and then her shoulders slumped.
“Bedbugs? Seriously!?” She muttered. She groaned and fell back on the bed, hitting her head on the wall. “Owwwww….”
Justin got on his bike and pedaled some distance before stopping and getting off. Then, he groaned.
“Oh god… Why didn’t I stay!? I had homework but I was willing to stay up late to get it done… Oh man, I’m such a coward.” Justin walked around grumbling to himself on how stupid he was now that he was regretting the fact that he had left. He was so busy grumbling to himself, he failed to notice a white cat wearing a dark coat coming by until he accidently walked into her. Agh! That’s two times in one day where I didn’t pay attention and bumped into someone.
“Sorry about that.” He said.
“Watch it, kid!” The cat growled.
“Yikes! I said I was sorry. Give me a break…”
“Yeah, yeah, just get out of my way.” She growled.
Justin stood to the side and saw the cat walk away angrily.
“Sheesh, what bit her in the tail?” Justin mumbled, he then noticed the sun setting in the distance. “I better head back home or my parents will get worried.” Or even more suspicious… the thought passed by as he got back on his bike and pedaled the rest of the home.

[Yep, it’s another fanstory and this is one that is not as ridiculous as my first one (we can forget about that one) I introduce you all to A Year of School, Problems and Pizza]
At first there was nothing but black… Nothing but him standing in the dark where he could see… Nothing. Then, a light, a shining beautiful light shining in the dark. Not literally, in fact the light was not a light but a girl. A girl who smiled at him upon seeing his face, he smiled back. The girl, whose green eyes sparkled, lifted out her hand, he also reached his hand, trying to grab the girl who was so close he could whisper to but was too far away to reach…
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
The battered alarm clock cried out when it reached 7:30. Suddenly, a hand grabbed it and it was flung across the small bedroom, smashing against the wall, the clock fell silent, used to this sort of treatment from its master. The hand that threw the clock fell limp as a groan was heard from under the sheets. Some rustling, and then they wer pushed away to reveal an obviously tired dog.
“JUSTIN!” A voice called from outside his door. “Time to get up! You have work today!”
Another groan and he (slowly) got up from his unfortunately very comfy bed and (slowly) got dressed in his usual clothing. He was about to open the door leading outside his bedroom when he suddenly.
“Oh, right…” He mumbled. Justin walked over to his desk and grabbed his signature goggles. He held them in his hands, looking at them as not so good memories passed through his head.
Loser! Goggle Head! You look like Cid, Geek! All the negative comments came through his mind.
It looks good on you, keep it on for me will ya! Her cheerful voice rang in his ears and he smiled. That was the only positive comment he had gotten involving his goggles. Justin smiled and put them on, then opened the door and left the bedroom.
[The reason I chose set it to the topic of Romance is because I think it fits that topic best, you could disagree with me though]
