at first I thought it was supposed to be a Japan-ified ‘cat in the hat.’

haha when Taeshi first found out she wanted to change Lucy’s design but Souppy stopped her from doing so ^^

I think the name of the cat in the movie was Yuki?

That was kind of weird, but really cool. I think that gray cat from the beginning looked so much like Mike when he stood up.
Also, Yuki (I think that was the name, and I don’t really care enough to go back and check)is so completely different from Lucy in every way except for looks.

Oh yeah… I remember Taeshi talking about this a few years back on dA… She was all, “Huh? Someone drew BCB fanart?” and then clicked it and then she was all, “WTF, YUKI!?”

And then everybody died.

I just saw a picture from this movie, saw that cat in the background, and had a bit of a “wait, What?” moment. I had seen this movie years ago but had forgotten about it

Yuki reminded me of the Aristocats not Lucy…
