No topic is safe.

I suppose Suit should add a button that displays a popup with all the emoticons somewhere in the “Post a Reply” box to help new people use them.
Unless they’re meant to be a secret easter egg or something ![]()
Comment ID #62954
Nah, this’ll probably affect the comments too.
Once someone makes a face everyone will start to notice.

these are ok
i think the dog ones are quite ugly though and the inclusion of the “awesome face” really irritates me
but the rest of em look pretty good!

Bookmarked for further reference.
Now I think about it, this is frontpage- worthy.

I’m starting to think the David one’s colour is a bit too dark. Also, I might add some aliases so if you type l instead of | you get the same smiley. These might evolve over time, but Lisa gave us a great starting point.

i like this thread because it gives me an excuse to spam smilies.

The David one looks like a girl.
Comment ID #63382
Just some suggestions:
Amaya = :|
McCain = *facepalm*
Sandy = :-*
Lily = /;) (that’s a mischievous eyebrow-raise if anyone’s wondering)
David (again) = XD
Yashy/Chirpy = @-)

Uh… I kinda agree with the dog-based faces (David and Rachel) looking a little awkward.
Comment ID #63393
The whole point of smileys is they’re text based. They were invented that way and should stay that way. That’s why I dislike graphical ones with a vengeance. When messaging I use : ) instead of
so it doesn’t convert into a graphical smiley. Besides, the best ones are individually-created, like these smelly fish bones >~|~|~(*>

Lisa made them! I think they’re pretty great. I’ll implement a smiley legend popup later, but for now you can refer to the following.

— 8.-)
— :.D
— blush
— awesomeface
— rolleyes
— raise

Remove the “.” to use these: (e.g. :l )
Surround the word with two colons to use these (e.g. :word: )
