Tomorrow we’re heading to the woods, so I’d better be quick writing down today’s happenings.
Day 1 - The arrival
After many days at sea, we finally reached the docks of Siilitie lands. The Harbour Master asked us to follow him in a tour around the village while he answered our questions. The empire suddenly ordered to prohibit the trades and reinforce their defences against “obstacles”. No reason, no explanation. The people here don’t even know what these “obstacles” are. The guards are everywhere.
The Harbour Master stopped between the inn and the bathhouse, saying that we should stay indoors during the night due to a curfew in effect. Most of us decided to go to his office right away and ask more questions. I decided to get clean before. It was really relaxing. After getting clean, I looked for McCardell to ask if he got any useful information.
The guards are on constant watch, listening for anyone talking against the emperor’s orders. Many don’t understand why these orders have come, nor do many agree with them. Beyond the northern forest, the guards have refused to allow anyone entrance, where we probably will get some answers.
After seeing Makar and Lieselotte going to their rooms, I noticed it was already late, but I decided to stand in the bar with the others. Amaja seems so confused by finally having the attention of a man… not my place to intrude… just to record…
Here I am now, writing down today’s happenings. Tomorrow we’re going to the nothern forest.

[Found written in the margins of this page was the following note]
I feel so weary now. I can barely remember writing these words; comprehensive, but so sterile, so cold… yet my own handwriting lies before me. Have I changed so much in so little time? Perhaps even tainted by my own magic? The idea scares me…

Some pages are missing. It seems that they were plucked grudgingly.

I’m going to skip what happened this morning…
Day 2 - Enemies of Siilitie
The nightfall arrived, and shortly after that, an explosion. I looked from the windom, the smoke curtain. Theresa and McCardell went out. Lily told me she had a plan… I can’t remember the details brightly… Some of us were eating, while the others were still asleep. Not much long later, the rogue and the assassin arrived with the terrible news.
We made our way towards the bridge, but the guards surrounded us…
… then it happened…
… that girl arrived and started the carnage… the problem wasn’t because of what she was doing, because I saw things like that before… like Lily said an while ago, it was her “aura”. It emanated fear… she was even worse than that witch we fought a month ago… way worse.
We all made it alive, but many are injured and tired… and above all that… terrified. We decided to sleep and get going tomorrow, but I can’t sleep after seeing that… child…
Looking at Makar from here, he seems traumatized… he’s avoiding looking at Lieselotte for some reason… I hope we all get over it at the morning.
I’ll stop for now… I’m not going to sleep, but that’s enough for a day.
Susanna.

Day 2 (Part 2) - Her name is Mollith
Like if what happened already wasn’t enough, in about half an hour we’ve been stalked by a zombie beast, attacked by a zombie army, suffered the onslaught of a (temporarily) possessed vampiress, sung to a murderous young girl with a scythe, and let Paulson play hide and seek with her to take her mind off the suggestions of a demonic doll.
I hope this day is over already…

Day 3 - The Forgotten Soldiers
Theresa and McCardell went out to check out the resting grounds and soon arrived. Most of us decided to spend the morning thinking on a good plan to reach the top of the hill. Later at afternoon, we started.
Amaja made use of her incredible powers to move an entire river towards the resting grounds and washed the guards away, leaving the others able to pass through the muddy ground and climb the hill with not too many worries. I stood behind with Amaja, so I don’t know what happened before everyone started to flee from the ghost army of soldiers.
Luckly, these ghosts didn’t followed us past the resting grounds, so we could relax a little. Now we know that the ghosts are the Forgotten Soldiers, which will remain there untill the emperor say otherwise. Our new destination is the throne room, but Lily will lead us to a secret path that will allow us to avoid too many troubles. Lord Makar seems disturbed with something, but I guess it’s because Lieselotte will be left behind with Mollith.
Makar is giving us the other to move, so I’d better stop writing now. I shall write more if anything else happens, which I wish that it will not be necessary.
