“OOF!!
N-no, that’s not it, I was with them on the last great adventure. This is different. I’ve been taking note of this group’s personalities, and… I don’t know, maybe I’m just… maybe it’s only…”
He trails off in thought again.
(This is a habit I have that I assimilated into the character for interesting effect, if it can be called that. Basically, I think in pictures and abstract thoughts, and thus as I try to explain something, sometimes I will get into thinking about it so deep that I subconsciously start putting my ideas in that format, leading to them ending up as simply thoughts once more.)

Waves his hand in front of Icarus’s face. I’m not sure Dave, he says he has a bad feeling though.

Konar goes to the eating area where are some of the group
Oh,hi…
Go take a chair and sit
Comment ID #64805
“…Stop it! What the heck?”
He swats Paulson’s hand away, unaware that he stopped talking midsentence.
Comment ID #64806
Hey you spaced out on us! Paulson said as he grabbed his hand.
Comment ID #64810
“What?!
…Oh. Sorry.
It’s just this vibe has got me all out of whack recently. I’m somewhat… afraid of what it might mean.”
(lol God forbid my character gets scared about something!)

Is there a problem Sir Icarus?
(Assuming we did meet on the boat)
Comment ID #64813
Dave is still curious about Sir Icarus, but decides to just listen for now.
Comment ID #64816
“Huh? What?”
Icarus looks at Keith.
“Do I know you?”
(We didn’t meet on the boat, I was hidden in my cabin the whole time. But I’ll simplify things by saying that you met me, but I didn’t meet you.)

Taking another sip from her tea she glances up at Paulson, speaking in a low murmur.
How good do you think your skills are archer? In the event that this situation gets nasty, your role here will be crucial, the archers in that tower could pose quite a problem. You had better not be dead weight to us, we need everyone to their full potential.
Comment ID #64820
You were aboard that ship, I think I saw you when you go on it. As for how I know your name… it was written on the package that contained your items.
Anyways… my name is Keith. Something seems to be troubling you.
Keith’s order arrives… warm milk and bread.

Ascertaining that there is no danger McCardell waves to Theresa and pulls out the map of the area, and points at the most viable locations to begin scouting. The pair move swiftly and note multiple patrols, paths, and areas of easy concealment
Soon enough they reach the edge of the forest what lay before them
Comment ID #64824
Looks at Lieselotte Hey look, Theresa’s out there. Trust me when i say that if they need my help I’ll have my bow ready before you can blink.
Comment ID #64831
It’s not them I am worried about, we’re the ones still in this village. If things to do awry, they’ll probably shoot us the second we step outside of this inn. If Sir Icarus is right about whatever feelings he has been having then forming an escape plan may be in our best interests.
She lowers the empty cup to the table and looks around at everyone eating.
Comment ID #64832
Paulson crossed his arms and looked up. Yeah I could take out the archers but I would be more worried about the soldiers rushing towards us. How good is your man with that fancy sword of his?
Comment ID #64835
Dave is now completely lost and has a confused look on his face. Hold it for a minute, where is Theresa and why would the people in town attack us?A look of worry comes across the barbarians face.
Comment ID #64838
Paulson bites his lip in the realization that he just gave up the plan. Long story. But don’t worry buddy, I’m sure everything is going to be fine.
Comment ID #64839
An attack?
That absolutely wasn’t part of the deal… but I guess this is what I get for involving myself in matters that don’t concern me.
He sighs
Well… if there is an attack, don’t expect me to give a good fight. At most I will be able to hold them off, but I’m going to require a lot of assistance.
Comment ID #64840
You’re questioning the abilities of one of the knights that aided in the defeat of Reinhild. A man whose name is known by even young children in our homeland.
She glares at Paulson angrily, tension clearly in the air now.
Not only do we have this being of legend, but alongside him I fight. If he falters, I make sure to aid him where needed. We also have Sir Icarus, Sir Albert, Hannibal, and others skilled in combat of closer range. The soldiers rushing us will not be a problem, but only if you can take out the archers that attack us from a distance.
Her claws gouge the wooden table, clearly frustrated by Paulson.
Comment ID #64842
[[Oooh baby, just 2.5 hours till I’m back for good. Can’t wait for everyone to try and murder me for last night!]]
Comment ID #64844
He returns her glare with a steady look. And when was the last time you saw Hannibal or you “Great Knight”? If you haven’t noticed we kinda need them here now and they are no where to be seen. And if you were so worried about being attacked at a distance than maybe you should stop relying on your claws so much and pick up a bow for yourself.
Comment ID #64848
Then if your so worried about being attack within blade’s distance, stop relying on your bow and pick up a sword. What you ask of me, is like asking a baker to leave the oven and go to the forge to become a smith. My claws are my expertise as a bow is yours. Think about what you say before you say it, or you may end up with more then injured pride.
She stands, clearly having had enough of Paulson, she leaves the room to wander the inn.
Comment ID #64851
Paulson glares after her a minute before looked back at the group and smiling. Well that was dramatic.

Don’t know what happened when i’m was not here but,you should use other kind of word to a lady mister archer.

After a long period of time watching the patrols, McCardell and Theresa are able to map out the general routes and locations of the guards. It would seem the traditional routes through and around the forests are more heavily guarded, while obscure routes through the forest have few left to watch. Patrols walk the length of the outskirts of the woods, but do not enter. The woods themselves are quite dense, allowing for even a sizable group to hide within if needed. McCardell notes these details down on his map, and begins to pack it away when two men walk close to their hiding spot. One appears to be a messenger, while the other a royal advisor of the emperor himself. They stop a few yards from the McCardell and Theresa and begin to speak.

(Well… once again, I missed a lot of happenings. Anyway… )
The knight finally opened his eyes, entirely recovered from his tiredness, and analised the room. He sighed while arranging his cape.
Of course… it was just a dream. She always wake up first, I should have realised it… altough it seemed so real…
His thoughts are interrupted when he heard an explosion outside. He jumped from the bed and looked at the smoke curtain from the windom. In a hurry, he wore his armor back and got his sword, leaving the room afterwards. When he reached the others, he asked what was happening. (Let’s skip that part, saying that Lily explained her plan and all the rest that we all already know.)
The knight sighed, quite enraged. After taking his food, he hurried to finish it.
I should have left Hannibal away from this journey… why didn’t Amaja left the bar as I suggested? Hum… maybe she was already too drunk to listen to me.
After finishing his food, he listened to Lieselotte and Paulson fighting. Frowning at Paulson after the vampire stormed off, he got up as well. Mute, he walked away a few steps and took out his sword.
Suddenly, he started to make use of his skillful swordplay on the air, aiming in the same spot while using his own impulses and retreats to attack the nothing as many times as possible in an incredibly quick phase, always stopping the sword in the exact same place.
A few minutes later, he stopped and placed the shiny sword under his cape once again. Turning his gaze to Paulson for a brief moment, he looked at the archer with a serious expression in his face before leaving after Lieselotte.

((Auto play, dinner time. Paulson will protect the group if needed, with priority going to Theresa(If she returns), Jasmina, Dave and Amaja. Can be controlled by the same people in that order.))

Pulling a slip of paper from his robes, he scribbles down his message as he speaks with the messenger.
The Emperor is not taking risks with these people. Should they leave the village and discover the resting grounds, we may lose all we have worked for. If they are as dangerous as legends tell, the guards of the village will not be enough. The reinforcements are close, they shall descend on the village and slay these fiends before any action can be taken. You are to give this message to the captain of the guard to let him know we attack tonight. It is imperative we complete this tonight and be done with them, enough resources have been set aside. These people are now enemies of Siilitie, and are to be treated as such. Now go, time is of the essence!
He signs the letter and hands it to the messenger. Immediately the runner darts off towards the village. Night has begun to fall and from one of the paths to the north, a number of soldiers can be seen.
Comment ID #64873
Needless to say, Theresa was stunned. The group were now enemies of the state. Ain’t that just peachy?
“McCardell…I think we’re fucked. In the ass. Hard. We should run and get the others, pronto!”
Comment ID #64874
Seeing no choice McCardell signs to Theresa to follow him. They stalk the messenger until he leaves the sight of any guards.
out of the trees a crossbow bolt slams into the head of the messenger, McCardell’s blade cutting his throat quickly afterward to make sure the messenger stayed silent.
Theresa… we’ve done enough here, we need to return to the village and hand this missive to Lily.

Amaja awoke with a start flinging her head up from her pillow. She looked around the room with quick glances, plopping her head back down into the pillow when she saw that she was the only one in it. The pillow was still moist from the night’s cry she endured. Taking in a deep breath, she pushed herself up from laying down and sat back on her feet with her hands in her lap. Staring at the pillow she slowly brought her sleeved hands up and wiped at her face to fix her mussed hair. She sat further back on her feet and looked out the window to see the sun setting. She has no idea how long she was asleep, but was thankful for however long it was that she was left to her demons. Shifting in her spot she shifts her legs out from under her and swings them off the bed to hop lightly off onto the floor. Adjusting her shirt to fit properly, she steps quickly across the room to the door and moves out into the hall. Taking the handle of the door behind her back she shuts the door, but leans back into it and looks down at the floor in contemplation. She didn’t want to get involved with anyone today but knew that would be inevitable if she were to be of any use to them. Her eyes welled up faintly as she thought back to what happened at the bar, foolishly thinking how she was of use to Hannibal for the moment. She laughed quietly as she brought her hands up to wipe at her eyes, smiling as the tears continued to come out till she collapsed to a squat against the door covering her face with her sleeves trying to hide what she was feeling.

She stops her angry marching around the inn as she sees that silent cat collapsed at her door. Her expression softens to one of concern as she slides next to Amaja with a deep sigh. She says nothing, sitting there quietly next to the cat.

“HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT!” Theresa ran as fast as she could towards the chasm that separated the forest from the village wall. Realizing that the archers in the guard tower would kill them before they made it across, he asked McCardell,
“Hey, McCardell! You think you can snipe those guys in the guard tower? I think Lily’s “No killing” rule just got voided!”
Comment ID #64884
Gritting his teeth he was forced to agree
You get ready to climb and I will take care of the guards. I need you to make sure no other guards take notice of this, or our situation becomes more… complicated…
He readies his crossbow to fire at the guards in the tower.
Comment ID #64885
“Just don’t kill them! They don’t know that we’re supposed to off us, yet! Hold on!” Ties a knock-out gas bomb to McCardell’s arrow. “Here. Hope you can still shoot this thing!”
Comment ID #64886
Her ears perked when she felt Lieselotte sit beside her. She quickly rubs her face into the arms of her sleeves and looks over to Lieselotte smiling innocently. She shook her head trying to convey to her that she would be okay just needed to gather herself again. Standing up, she patted down the back of her shirt and held her hand out to Lieselotte and gave her a soft gentle smile hoping she’d take her lead.
Comment ID #64888
He stares blankly at Theresa before shaking his head
Just… be ready to climb
Fires the crossbow

She takes Amajas hand and stands up, doing her best to smile back at Amaja.
You don’t need to tell anyone anything you don’t want to. What others seem to miss is that at times, silence is the best option.

The bolt hits the tower, the attached bomb fwoofs, expelling the gas into the top of the tower. The guards can be heard hacking and coughing before falling to the floor. A guard at the base of the tower hears this, and begins a slow ascent to the top of the tower. Looking behind them, McCardell and Theresa can see the reinforcements marching closer to the town.

Makar reached Lieselotte after an while looking for her. He stood silent when he noticed Amaja, quite saddened. Unsure if he should come closer or not, the Lord stood motionless, staring at the two felines. After listening to the vampire’s words, he started to rub the back of his head, looking a little down.
Comment ID #64895
Taking McCardell’s advice to heart, Theresa climbs the living shit out of the bamboo wall. Jumping to the roof of the closest building, she sees McCardell reaching the top of the wall.
“Damn, you’re fast for a little guy! Let’s hurry towards the inn, I think I saw a guard notice our little show!”
Comment ID #64896
Amaja smiles more brightly and nods knowingly to her, clutching her hand around Lieselotte’s she began pulling her down the hall and stairwell. Seeing a decent size of the group around a table eating and drinking. With a soft gentle smile she moved quickly over to the group and let go of the vampire’s cold hand and pulls a chair out for her while sitting in her own. She felt it’d be best to be around everyone than be by herself.

Around this time the white mage had already finished a second helping of breakfast
That was refreshing,i had hardly anything to eat yesterday
She just noticed Amaja
Oh hello there, who are you?

Sees the two female cats walking in, and greets them.
Hello you two. It’s looks like a nice evening… though that Icarus guy seems to have a bad feeling right now.
So how did you spend the night? Hehe, was it good?.
He teases Amaja, unaware of how she feels about last night’s encounter.

He goes down to where his teammates are and sits down after getting some food. Whats is Sir Icarus worried about now Paulson, hmm?
