I just think “pagination” is a stupid word and refuse to use it except when describing how hard I hate it. But “threadicons” for “threads” is just for my amusement.

Yeah, it was during one of my insomnia bouts. I was fine, then christmas hit and we were flat out. I got tired and that happened. I was lucky too, almost nicked an artery.

Yeah, I came back to work the next day in a sling, got put straight on the buffet and met one of my Ex’s there, lol!

*sigh* anyway- our Teachheadmaster something just came inand said we can go 4 hours earlier IF we give him 3 adresses of business station thingies where we go today and ask for an intership -_- this sucks SO MUCH- I rather stay here another 4 and a half hours-

I’m upset with school at the moment because “Take Your Child to Work Day” fails now.

I was looking forward to going with my dad to work for half a day moving boxes and crap, then coming home at lunch and getting to chill, not having to go to school that day. But apparently, the new Take Your Child to Work Day is set after the school year ends.

Totally defeats the purpose. Great.

I’ve never been to one of those…

My dad only started taking me for the last two years, so I’ve gotten to experience a 6 hour total car drive to a town in the middle of nowhere one year, and moving cardboard boxes around the second.
Oh and I also got to organize files and help set up a new office.

Pretty boring, but way more fun than school.

We don’t even have these days over here-

Okay, not really, but something that rarely actually happens… and somehow I think you’re past ‘Child’ status Toast. Aren’t you a teenager? I’d have felt very silly to be brought on such a trip at your age….

No way it was good fun. I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to spend time with my father while he works. I learned a lot about both him and how to interact with people, seeing how on the trip we stopped by some gas stations/fast food places and my dad talked to them about selling his company’s fryers. He’s a lot smarter than I gave him credit for. Garnished more respect for him through that.

And no matter how old you are, you’re still your parents’ child.

the problem isn’t that I don’t want to do one, s’just I can’t find a place where they’d actually take you in- they don’t need you you now?
there you’d think they’d be happy about intershiplers?? cause they do the dirtywork noone else wants to do but oh well meh-

Lisa, I had to do work experience last year, it was a royal pain in the ass to find anything. Four bloody weeks up and down with calls and trips. And I wasn’t getting paid! It’s terrible the market out there…

Guess they don’t think it’s worth the hassle. If they have someone doing the dirty work already why grab someone else? Don’t fix it if it ain’t broken as they say.

I KNOW!! I am like searching for some month now- and now they exspect us to just throw out 3 places where we have to go today- how are we even supposed to get there?! they don’t think- I mean really- I just ask him if it’s ok if I just stay here I mean DUH what the fork, I don’t have anything to do anyway I’d just sleep at home or something and if I stay here I can do the same, or draw abit while surving the net-

this is what this whole “school” I’m in atm is about- finding a job or anothe rplace you do something- for me it’s just a place wher eI stay till my actual school-apprenticeship as foreign language-correspondent starts.


I might sound abit whiney here and like I’m a slacker but seriously….
